Endeavor gripped tightly onto the steering wheel as the noisy dial tone rang through his car. "President speaking."

Endeavor clenched his teeth at the nonchalant tone, "How long will that dose of medication last? He's already asking questions."

"Can't handle thinking on your toes?" The president quipped smugly.

Irritation bloomed into Enji's chest, "I told him the memory loss was due to his head injury. How am I supposed to continue injecting him with this medicine if he's awake!?"

"Tell him it's to help with his head. Surely he's having pain from you recklessly bashing the poor boy's head into the wall?"

He flared, huffing through his nose, "As if you haven't done worse. Besides, he left me no choice."

"Ah yes, we're well aware how badly you messed up that relationship. That's why we gave you this out while we deal with the others."

"I want Dabi."

"And you'll have him just as soon as we do. It's tricky business to get around the police and press with as big of a mess as you've made."

"So what's the plan?"

The president sighed softly, "I have men working from the inside to erase records, and a team going to the hospital to bring in your family and that old woman. We'll be pressing charges against them for conspiracy and attempts on your life and my own. We'll have our normal lives back soon enough. You just need to keep the bird in his cage until his memories align with our goals."

"I don't want Dabi charged. I want him dead."

A small chuckle echoed over the line, "Of course. We'll push for the highest penalty for him, and maybe give him the chance to escape where you can publicly take him down."

"Fine…I have to pick up food, but I can't risk going into the stores. What does Keigo normally eat from KFC?"

The president sighed, "Over a year and you still don't know? No wonder your son stole your precious cock sleeve away so easily."

Flames burned across Endeavor's skin as his anger rose, "Watch it. You're lucky we need each other right now."

"No, we need your public image. You're only walking out of that coma because we allowed you to. We waited for the perfect moment to let you go after the Number 2, don't mess it up. Give him one dose per day after he eats, pick him up popcorn chicken and fries, and keep working with his memories. It's a simple job."

The line cut off and Enji growled in annoyance. "I'm not the one who started this mess to begin with…"

Keigo muddled around the large estate while Endeavor was gone. The windows were frosting over from snow, and the rest of the house was still fairly chilly. He wrapped himself up tighter in a tan cardigan that he found in the closet. It wasn't very thick but it helped keep the chill away from his bones. He matched it with black jeans and a light cream shirt, hoping to look nice when Enji made it back. He carefully pulled plastic off of a couch in the living room and went to turn on the TV. Static filled the screen, and he hummed softly in disappointment. "I guess he hasn't gotten cable set up yet…"

Golden eyes peered around the room for a home phone. "Enji always has one of those…" he stood up, walking around until finally finding a phone attached to the wall. He grinned, grasping the the handle and putting it to his ear. Dead. No dial tone. "What is going on? Maybe it's unplugged…" He followed the phone line down, seeing it go through the wall to outside. He bit his lip, knowing it was too cold for him. "Ahh, I'll be fine." He headed towards the door, slipping his blood covered shoes back on with a grimace.

He took a deep breath and grabbed the door handle, preparing himself for the blast of icy air. The heavy door creaked open as he pulled, and took his first step out. "Damn it." The cold wind cut through his cardigan, chilling his skin in seconds. He shook his head, ignoring the snow that had begun to fall again. He followed the outside edge of the house, trying to find the phone cable. His teeth chattered, but a grin danced across his face as a set of thick cables came into view, "Finally!" He crouched down, dusting the fresh snow off and inspecting the cables. "Huh? They're...melted?"

"KEIGO!" He shook as Endeavor's voice boomed around the corner. Heavy footsteps crunching in the snow as the larger man made his way over. He didn't wait for a reply before snatching the blonde up and dragging him back to the front door. "What were you thinking!? You could have frozen to death out here!"

Keigo couldn't help but nuzzle in against Endeavor's warmth, "I was t-trying to call you."

"Outside?"

"No, I was checking the phone line, E. Something isn't right." He whispered, golden eyes pleading up for Enji to listen.

"They must have melted during a lightning storm last summer."

Keigo went rigid in his arms as he kicked the door back open, "I…I didn't tell you they were melted…"

Endeavor paused in the doorway, warm fingers getting painfully tight around his arm, "Yes, you did. Your memory is still failing."

"But…"

Endeavor shook his head as he closed the door behind them, "This is exactly why you aren't cleared to be around others yet."

Keigo's head swooned as nausea raced through him again, "I think I'm gonna puke…"

Endeavor reached down, pulling off both of their shoes, finally handing over the bag dangling from his arm, "No, you aren't. Go sit down and eat. We have to do your medicine after."

Keigo took the bag, walking slowly towards the couch, "Can we go to the hospital?"

"No. You're fine. Now eat your food." Endeavor huffed, walking into the kitchen, and opening the fridge. He pulled out it's only content, a cold bottle of whiskey. He shrugged off his coat, hanging it beside the back door as he unscrewed the lid. Keigo bit his lip nervously, watching the Number 1 Hero gulp the brown liquid down.

"I'm sorry my head is so fuzzy right now…" Annoyed blue eyes peered at him from the kitchen, a long sigh escaping as heavy footsteps carried him closer. Endeavor plopped down beside him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and pulling him close. Keigo shivered under the sudden warmth, breathing his scent in deeply. Another wave of nausea crashed through him, and he buried his face into Endeavor's neck.

The red head could feel wet drops running down into his shirt and pushed the smaller hero away to meet his eyes, "Why are you crying?"

Keigo wiped his hands over his eyes, sniffling as he tried to get his words together, "I just…I hate this. I don't feel like myself. Something feels wrong, and I keep feeling so terrified of-...I-I don't know…"

Endeavor's eyes narrowed ever so slightly, "Terrified of what, Keigo?"

Keigo shook his head, burying his face into his palms, "I know it doesn't make sense but…it…it's you."

Fire boiled under Enji's skin, "That's ridiculous. You have no reason to be scared of me. We need to do your medicine." Keigo nodded, biting back more tears as he ate his food. Endeavor's massive hand trailed up and down the hero's thigh while he continued sipping the bottle. "Just relax…things will be ok."

Bit by bit, Keigo managed to get down the rest of his food, golden eyes staying trained on Endeavor's hand. His hand stilled, and Keigo looked up, noticing Enji's head tilted back, snoring lightly. Endeavor's phone buzzed from his coat in the kitchen. Keigo felt prickles of intrigue, but he ignored the familiar message tone. Twice more the phone buzzed loudly, and his curiosity won over. He slipped off the couch, making his way to the kitchen. He slipped his hand into Endeavor's coat, pulling out his phone. The screen lit up, but his relief quickly faded when he saw, [Face ID Enabled]. The preview texts were from a number he recognized as one of the President's burner phones. Only the first few words of each text were visible.

[We have a problem-]

[We lost him, Recovery-]

[Keep him inside, he's-]

Keigo rubbed his hand over his face as he read those 3 texts over and over. "I'm sure it's fine…they would call if it was urgent…" He shoved the phone back in and fumbled through the rest of Endeavor's pockets, finding a vial of medicine and some pre-filled syringes. "Guessing this is what he said I needed…" The blonde rolled the vial around in his palm, pausing to read the label. It was a strange name that he didn't even know how to begin pronouncing. He turned the bottle, looking for more info. [Avoid Alcohol, No Operating Heavy Machinery] Sickness crept back up as he continued reading the labels. [Warning: May cause memory loss in high doses]

"W-what?? No, that can't be right…"

"What are you doing, boy?" Endeavor was on his feet faster than most would expect for such a large man. His heavy footsteps quickly crossed the room as Kegio panicked. He kept his back to the red head, uncapping one of the needles and squirting the medicine into his pant's pocket. He quickly wiped off the needle, and jabbed the tip into his forearm, turning to face Endeavor with a practiced smile.

"You fell asleep, big guy! Didn't want to miss my medicine, sorry for waking you!" He let out a little hiss as he pulled the needle out, laying it down on the counter. Endeavor eyed him suspiciously, but didn't respond. Keigo could feel the medicine soaking through his jeans, making a sticky patch on his skin. "Is it ok if I rinse off? I know I can't wash my hair yet but I feel so gross."

"Yeah, use the bathroom upstairs in my bedroom." He answered flatly, keeping his eyes locked on the hero.

Keigo smiled, scratching the back of his neck, "Thanks, I-"

"And Keigo," he interrupted, placing his hands on the wall on each side of the blonde. "Don't go through my things again."

Golden eyes stared down as he nodded, "R-right. I'm sorry. I'll ask you next time."

Endeavor hummed in acknowledgement, his hands falling back down to his sides, and letting Keigo walk past him. The blonde took in a breath of relief as he climbed the stairs back to Endeavor's room. He cranked on the shower, and started removing his clothes. He grabbed one of the wash rags from under the counter, and stepped in. There were only hotel size soaps, but it was better than nothing. He stood under the warm stream of water, scrubbing at his body until it was nearly raw.

He closed his eyes, trying desperately to recall what happened. He kept repeating to himself that Enji wouldn't hurt him, but everytime that same sickness reminded him that something wasn't right. He ran his fingertips over his scars, trying to focus on the sensation. He could feel the faintest memory of his skin burning, but it wouldn't come into focus. Tears brimmed his eyes from frustration, and his mind trailed back to the medicine that was in Endeavor's pocket. He quickly shook his head to ease the panic creeping up his throat.

"Breathe…" he reminded himself, trailing a hand down his stomach. If nothing else, he figured he could always get off to relieve some tension. Slim fingers stroked his cock, bringing blood rushing to it. "Mmmmm…" he moaned softly as he started pumping his fist up and down. He closed his eyes, savoring the feeling, and letting his mind wander. He leaned back, bumping the barely surfaced tip of his new feathers into the wall. Pleasure ran like electricity through his body, causing a whine to escape through his lips. His hips bucked into his palm, feeling his orgasm racing towards him. "Mmhaaa, fuck, Touyaaa!"

His eyes snapped open, his hand instantly stilling. "What? Where did that come from…?" He racked his mind trying to pinpoint that name. 'Touya…Touya…wait…isn't that Enji's son? Isn't he dead-.'

His time to ponder ended as he heard the bathroom door open, "Keigo…"

"S-sorry! I'm finishing up!" He quickly rinsed the rest of the soap off, and turned off the water. His hand reached out, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around his waist before pulling the curtain back. An icy feeling ran through his veins as his eyes focused on Endeavor. His face was contorted into an angry scowl, and a syringe was clenched in his hand. "Enji…What's wrong?"

"You lied to me." Keigo didn't answer, his mind reeling at possibilities. "You would have passed out within 5 minutes of injecting that medicine…"

"W-wait, maybe I'm getting a tolerance for it!" He tried to reason, putting his hands up innocently.

Endeavor rolled his eyes, flicking the cap of the needle off, "It's a good thing they sent extra…"

He tried to reach out and grab the blonde's arm, but Keigo dodged, trying to get behind him. "Don't!" His foot slipped across the slick tile, and his knees slammed to the ground. "Fuck!" He scrambled across the threshold to the bedroom, trying to shut the door behind him.

"Don't make this difficult!" Enji roared, kicking the door open.

"No! What are you DOING!? Stop!" Keigo cried out as he climbed to his feet, running for the stairs.

Endeavor clenched his jaw, tailing quickly after the blonde. Keigo raced down the steps, trying to make it to the front door. "You damn child!" Endeavor growled, tackling the small hero to the ground.

"No! Stop! Please!" Keigo begged, trying to fight Endeavor off of him. The larger man kneeled down on his back, pinning his arms under his shins.

His large fist clenched tightly into Keigo's hair, pressing his face against the floor, "You shouldn't have been snooping. Don't worry though, you won't remember this. Now quit fighting." He pulled his head to the side, preparing to stab the needle into the blonde's neck.

"Enji, please!" He was right, his instincts had been trying so desperately to warn him this whole time. Tears started flowing down his cheeks, "I want to remember! I need to know what happened!"

"The past has already died. You're just confused. This will help."

Tears blurred the hero's vision as he felt the needle pressing into his skin. "Who is Touya?"

Endeavor paused, not pushing the plunger down yet, "Where did you see that name?"

Keigo didn't get the chance to answer before a blast of heat burst the door open. His eyes tried to focus, but he couldn't make out a face, only the blue flames burning across the floor towards them. "Nah, that's not fucking happening again." Touya bit out as closed the distance, kicking his boot straight into Endeavor's teeth.
