Oliver happily watch as the snow fell, not able to see it touch the ground but some snowflakes hit the large window. Oliver smiles. He's grown, he now knows how to share marmo, he's six and he's almost seven.
"Ollie! Look at all the presents." Charlie calls from behind him. Oliver turns to their Christmas tree, it stood tall and he looked at it proudly, since this year he and Charlie got the chance to decorate it too. Charlie is right, there really are so many presents. More than last year. But of course he knew the truth.
"Not all of them are yours." Oliver says. Charlie frowns at his older brother.
"I know but it's more than last year." Charlie, who has the same green hair as Zoro but curly at the end and bright blue eyes like Sanji. He's actually got pale skin. And his smile resembles Sanji too.
It didn't take long for Oliver to warm up at the idea of having a younger brother, someone he can talk about dinosaurs to. They have fun playing even if Charlies interest have diverted from the cool animals that are dinosaurs to the cool trucks like the fire trucks and cool looking cars. Their is something they both agree is cool and awesome, trains. They have an awesome train set, one with tunnels and switch tracks. They can sit and watch the train for hours. Sometimes they spice it up by adding the dinosaurs.
"Do you think we got another train set to add to ours." Charlie ask excitedly, at first their trains can only go in one circle, then an infinity, and now they have a whole town of trains. It's so much fun to watch when there are so many trains doing their own thing all at once.
"Maybe. Want to check?" Oliver asks. Charlie gets closer along with Oliver to the large pile of presents. Their eyes scan the presents looking for the best one to open, the one most likely to be a train or tracks.
"Don't touch anything." they turn around frozen to see Zoro staring at them sternly. They stand up straight and back away from the pile. They take a peek at Zoro to see him watching them, their baby sister in his arms. Two months old and her first Christmas. She wore a black bow in her green hair and black dress. Her eyes like Zoro's but with a splash of blue. Almost frost. "You know we are supposed to wait for everyone. Why don't you eat those grapes you wanted your dad to buy?" Zoro says sitting down on the couch with his baby girl in his arms.
"We have grapes!" Oliver says excited. The boys look at each other with a smile. They run to the kitchen. Zoro sets the baby girl, Emilia, down in the swing, letting her sit in peace then go to the boys, worried about the smile they gave each other. In the kitchen the boys helped each other get the small basket of grapes. Then they run to the table. Sitting side by side with the grapes in between.
"What are you two doing?" Zoro asks walking to get a glass of water, not wanting to make it seem he doesn't trust them.
"Seeing how many grapes we can shove into our mouth." Oliver says picking some grapes and shoving them in his face.
"We want to see who can hold more." Charlie adds following Oliver in shoving grapes into his mouth. Zoro, with his water move to the area near the couch so he can see Emilia but still keep an eye on the boys.
As he finish his water Sanji comes down the stairs holding the other baby girl. Emma. With her blonde hair, white bow and dress. Matching Emilia but in white. Her eyes blue with hints of white and gray, like the clouds on the sky.
Of course with two boys they wanted a girl this time. It was shocking news for everyone when they learned that they will be having twins. Everything was worse near the end for Zoro. Double the food, the weight gainer, and the weight he held. Having one baby in your stomach is uncomfortable, having two is worse. Of course what got Zoro through is the knowledge that they will be having two girls. Twins. That's always exciting. Of course they wanted a girl, during his term with Charlie they thought he was going to be a girl, but when Charlie came out a boy they were surprised but kept Charlie as his name. Charlie is Charlie but Sanji and Zoro wanted to have those cute baby dresses and outfits. Girl outfits for babies are way better than boys, with better variety.
"What are they doing?" Sanji asks Zoro as he cradle Emma. The blonde looking at the boys shoving grapes into their already filled mouths.
"Trying to see who can shove the most grapes into their mouth." Zoro answers still observing the boys and Emilia. "Are you starting dinner?" Zoro asks seeing his husband put Emma into the swing next to Emilia. With both his beautiful girls set he goes to the kitchen, leaving the boys to their contest.
"About. I got a call from Perona, said she's bringing some food this year." Sanji tells Zoro. Zoro nods. They started this tradition two years after Oliver was born. At first it was just them three. Their little family. But when Perona heard she demanded she be apart of it. If she joined then so did the others, (Mihawk, Reiju, and Nami of course) and they couldn't say no. That Christmas was the first time both men had a Christmas. So they decided to keep it going. Couldn't help but wonder how long it would last? So far no one's had to cancel. And the present under the tree are a mixture of their presents, including twins, and their guest. Their also isn't Santa of any sort. Them gathering is a good way to catch up. It's not big but small just how it should be.
Both Sanji and Zoro loved that their family, the ones they like and have gotten close to are apart of their life again. Now closer than ever.
"Hey these grapes taste like cotton Candy." Oliver shouts. Charlie makes a face.
