"Do you really need to do it by yourself ?", a voice echoed in a blonde haired child's head.
"That's PE Herrscher of Corruption herself. I don't trust anyone can handle this smoothly.", a childlike voice replied.
"Not even Bianka or Rita?"
"Especially them.", the child retorted. He had reasons for this.
"You are still a fool and a clown like before, Otto.", Void Archive sighed.
Otto in his child body at time now was standing before a broken shrine.
He knew he had come to the right place.
At the time Theresa came back with a new strange set of stigmata after her mission in Nagazora, he had investigated thoroughly the matter. He was extremely surprise when he found out who was the previous owner of that set of stigmata.
Luckily this timeline that woman hadn't died yet. He couldn't get this chance slip.
The more allies, the better.
Both Bianka and Rita didn't have the same vision as him. Beside, they were trained for a more noble goal. They weren't suited for his selfish desire.
But this woman, Otto was sure she was in the same shoes as him.
After all, Yae Sakura and Otto Apocalypse both loved the same woman.
"I wonder who is Elysia's boy?", questioned Otto.
"Curious, are you?", smirked Void Archive, "So do I.", he sighed then continued, "Elysia didn't reveal much about him. She just said his most special trait was he knew what he could do and his limit. I don't know what that means."
"That's all?", the Overseer asked in disappoinment.
"Hey, I am maybe a super computer but I cannot analyze anything with that little information and data. Beside, she even intentionally blocked me from something through my backdoor.", Void Archive protested.
"You have backdoor?", Otto asked in surprise.
"Only Flamechasers know about it.", Void Archive smirked confidently.
"Whatever...Have you blocked every surveillance cameras across our path, Void Archive? I don't want to risk the chance Theresa might notice me.", the child Otto sighed.
"You come to Japan and you don't even pay a visit to your granddaughter ?", Otto could feel if the golden cube had a human body, it was definitely rolling his eyes.
"Enough.", Otto said as a golden cube was slowly being manifested on his tiny hand.
The cube then transformed itself into a golden handgun.
It was the replica of the 3rd Divine Key Judgement of Shamash in the form of a handgun.
Otto stared at the handgun in his hand and sighed as he recalled the last time he used this gun. After sacrificing himself for the future and becoming False God, he finally realized how fuck up he was in his first life for the sake of his obsession before Elysia freed him from his curse.
"You can shoot her again you know. It would be much better if Herrscher of Sentience was born in that old grandma chicken's dead body again.", Void Archive said in a mocking tone.
Otto didn't answer or reply. He aimed the gun at the shrine in focus then took a deep breath.
"Fire", he muttered and pulled the trigger. A ball of fire was flying from the gun toward the shrine and vaporized it into nothingness.
After the dust, only a strange black box remained.
"Let me remind you Otto. She is the one put the nails in the coffin of Previous Era.", his golden cube warned cautiously.
PE Herrscher of Corruption hacked into the nuclear warheads and used them to wipe out all the cities humanity had left. That event had killed Flamechaser SAKURA and crushed the survival hope of Previous Era completely and forced them go into hiding from Herrscher of the End. There were only 8 MANTISes left being deployed to delay the Final Herrscher and luckily, their mission was successful. But the price was extremely huge.
4 Flamechasers had been dead under the hand of Herrscher of the End. Flamechaser Eden, Mobius, Aponia alongside Dr MEI, who was the final leader of PE, also died with their Era. No information had been received for thousands of years about Flamechaser Griseo with Project ARK. Only 3 Flamechasers Kevin Kaslana, Fu Hua and Su survived to the next Era.
"I know.", Otto nodded in understanding, "but I have this."
Just after he finished his words, a pink crystal flower appeared in his other hand.
"Come to me now. RIN, Yae Sakura.", Otto muttered and the petals on the crystal flower was blooming and shining. The black box then slowly decomposed and opened itself.
"I hope there is no Facehugger comes out.", Void Archive chuckled. The black box opening reminded him about an alien egg hatching.
"What is Facehugger?", Otto questioned curiously.
"That term was from Elysia's favourite horror movie when we were on her dimension. She said to me the movie was originated from another space different from our Imaginary Space. It was an excellent movie by the way.", the golden cube replied and sighed, "You should watch her movies when you have the chance, Otto. She has such a great taste."
"What a surprise! I don't know you are able to enjoy movies. For 500 years, I thought you can only plan how to take over my mind and body.", Otto sarcastically replied.
After their bickering, the black box was finally opened fully and revealed an unconscious pink-haired woman with a long pair of fox ears.
"Wait...where is Herrscher of Corruption? I cannot sense her.", Void Archive questioned in surprise as he couldn't spot a certain black mist inside it.
"Oh dear, it will be tough. Anyway Void Archive, deploy Cosmic Juggernaut now. We need to bring her safely and quietly back to the HQ first.", Otto sighed and rubbed his forehead.
"Kazuto, please come down. Dinner is ready.", my mom called out to me from downstair.
"Yes, mom.", I replied as I was holding a small pink crystal jar in my hand. Inside it, there was some black powder was violently wiggling and trying to break free.
My new name was Yuuki Kazuto. Quite a common name I guessed. Also it was quite cliche to find myself to be reborn as Japanese. Why not something other than Japanese ?

The good news was...Elysia had reborn me into a loving and wealthy family as she promised. The previous owner of this body had brain dead because the boy had come to a close contact with a Honkai beast resulted in Honkai Radiation. He may be brain dead but he still maintained his memories. It was just a different soul which was me inside his body at time now.
My situation was similar to Herrscher of Sentience taking over Fu Hua's body.
But the bad news was...my current father was working for ME Corp and our family lived in Nagazora city. It was only 6 months left when Raiden Mei would be awaken as Herrscher of Thunder. It meant Raiden Ryoma ( Mei's father ) would be arrested because of Cocolia's false charge in about 3 to 5 months from now on.
Because of the continuous bully since Mei's father was arrested, she had developed hatred and resentment in her mind resulted in Herrscher of Thunder persona being created then boom, Nagazora Impact goes brrr.
I was very conflicted about this...what should I do?
Some events must be set in stones or the Imaginary Tree could immediately discard its unworthy leaves. Each leaves on Imaginary Tree represented an universe. If that scenario was happened, the leaves would die out slowly but surely into the Sea of Quanta and the bubble universe would be doom in just a matter of time. All of Elysia's and my efforts would be for naught.
Raiden Mei's awaken as Herrscher of Thunder was one of those mandatory events. But to be awaken, she must experience agony first.
Was that ok to make her live in agony in order to save the world?
"LET ME GO.", a voice echoed inside my head cut my line of thought. I forgot I was holding the pink crystal jar next to my ear.
"If you are obedient, I will consider it.", I answered and rolled my eyes.
"You dare command me, human ?", the voice growled.
"I do not want to demand you but you are angry and unstable like this forces me imprisoning you, you are too dangerous. I want us to be partners.", I explained and looked at the black mist had become less violent.
"Partner ? Why do I want to be a partner with a lowly human like you ?", the mist mockingly said.
"Because I know how to bring Sakura and Kalpas back. You can meet them again, Rin.", I answered sincerely.
The mist immediately stopped wiggling after my answer.
The black mist then slowly transformed into a tiny girl with pink hair fit inside the jar. She was holding her knees and looking down in sadness.
"This jar... what it is made from ?", Rin asked me while touching the bottom of the jar.
"It is made from Elysia's crystal.", I replied. My answer seemed to make the Herrscher surprise a bit.
"You know about Elysia, Kalpas and my sister. So you must know what I am, right ?", Rin chuckled bitterly.
"Yes, Herrscher of Corruption.", I slowly answered made Rin looked down even more, "But I also know you are just a broken girl. If I was in your position, I would also act like you did, too."
"Even deploying nukes to destroy anything left of humanity ?", Rin stared at me through the jar.
"I knew about how your final moment was like, Rin. Those soldiers raped a child.", I replied darkly, the pink haired Herrscher shuddered at my statement, "That Era deserves to be buried under the ground. Honkai is meant to be the ultimate test for humanity. And unfortunately, they had failed in the most critical moment."
"Strange, sister Elysia never shared her crystals to anyone. But she gave it to you.", Rin said as she touched the wall of the jar.
"How do you know Elysia give the crystal to me ?", I questioned surprisingly.
"No one can craft her crystal except herself. And you have this patent jar means she has crafted it and given it to you.", the mini pink-haired girl replied as she traced her finger through the flower pattern on the jar.
"Your name is Kazuto, right ? If Elysia trusts you, I will trust you too, Kazuto.", PE Herrscher of Corruption said sincerely made me blink in surprise.
Elysia had that much impact on people? Holy shit.
But who know did this Herrscher trick me or not? I should have precautions. Not every Herrscher was honest as Elysia.
But I also had nothing to be safe measure after I released her from the jar. I couldn't do anything if she decided to escape and planned to destroy the world again.
This crystal jar could captured and imprisoned almost anything but it only had one-time-use. I had used it to capture Herrscher of Corruption.
Fuck that, I needed her. Only the world was doom because of nukes was the worse case scenario. Beside, I needed to fulfill my part of the bargain first.
I opened the lid of the jar carefully. Rin transformed into the mist then flew out from the jar.
She then condensed herself to the side of a plushie and floated around me. She literally became ELF Higokumaru.
"Kazuto, don't you eat dinner?", my mom called out in worry and I could hear footstep toward my room.
I hurriedly hided PE Herrscher of Corruption in the drawer and prepared to leave the room.
"Later.", I muttered to Rin who was inside the drawer.
"Ok.", she muffled.
"I am going down now, mom.", I replied and walked to the door of my room where my mom had just arrived.
While walking, suddenly I dropped my knee on the ground.
"Are you ok ?", my mom rushed to my side and helped me stand up.
"I'm fine mom.", I tried to soothe her, but my mind was being invaded by some nasty flashbacks.
"Get up, you are still too weak.", a cold voice said to a boy who was groaning painfully on the ground which was me.
"You just have cut off my leg.", I protested and pointed at the leg was still hang on her polearm.
"I am not allowing you to be a weakling. Now get up and pick up your weapon. Not everyone has honor to be trained by me.", Herrscher of the End threw my sword to me with my separated leg from her polearm.
I picked up my leg and assembled it back to my knee. It somehow magically connected to my body again.
"Now...round 57. I must admit, your resilience and desire to learn is quite admirable for a human.", the Herrscher raised her polearm and I hanged my sword high to defend myself.
"Knowledge is power. How can I let a chance to be trained by Final Herrscher herself slip away ?", I gave the Herrscher a confident smirk. It made her chuckle a little bit.
"Then don't be killed in our training.", she said to me seriously and swung her polearm.
Just in a millisecond, she lunged at me in an unimaginable speed. But I had been brutally beaten, stabbed, killed, dismembered,... in the last 56 times so I had prepared for this.
"Kazuto...Kazuto.", my mom shook my body and shouted frantically.
"I'm fine.", I tried to dismiss her but she still hold me as if her life depended on it.
"Thanks God... I cannot afford to lose you again.", my mom hugged me tightly and I felt her tears wetted my shoulder.
I just knew to hug back. The old soul and consciousness of my current body had been dead and my poor mom thought I had been gone forever.
There was no pain greater than the pain of a mother lost her child.
"I'm sorry. I just woke up from coma 2 months ago so sometimes my limbs does not obey me.", I tried to give my mom the best answer I could provide.
"I think I heard dad's calling. Let have dinner, shall we?", I smiled to my mom and led her downstair.
Despite my fate was cruel in the past or maybe in the future, one thing I always appreciated was I had loving parents in both of my lives.

Damm, the new CG looks so lit. It has been such a long time. I cannot believe Honkai storyline has come to the end of the journey. Nothing is more beautiful than 3 young girls gang up to beat up a grumpy icy old man.

About Rin/Higokumaru, if anyone has read Divine Key manga, you guys could notice there was also the blood stains on her thighs.
That means those soldiers raped her before killed her. No wonder Kalpas was extremely pissed to the point he wanted to kill Aponia along with those soldiers.
Aponia was the one put the discipline order 'defeat Honkai at all cost' on the soldiers had mission to confine Rin. And guessed what, it backfired.
Excess of anything is bad.
PE Sakura x Kalpas is superior.
