House of Masks:
The club was in the tunnel working on the final task, but this wasn't going to be easily to them, because right now Alfie faced his greatest fear.
"Alfie, calm down," said Nina.
"Please stop, I don't want this!" Yelled Alfie.
"Alfie snap out of it," said Aaron.
"Alfie whatever you see it's not real," said Nina.
"Alfie, you don't to be scared, we're here for you," said Patricia.
"What do you see Alfie?" Asked Amber.
"I see you guys," said Alfie.
"You see us? Asked Amber.
"Yes, you're being mean to me and saying I'm not worth anything," said Alfie.
"That nonsense, Alfie you're a very important member of the club," said Nina.
"I really am?" Asked Alfie.
"Yes, we can always count on you," said Nina.
"You're always trying to make us laugh, without you the club would be boring," said Patricia.
"You're my best friend Alfie, there is no one I rather go on mission with then you," said Amber.
"Do you guys really mean that?" Asked Alfie.
"Yes, we can't do without Super Alfie," said Aaron.
Alfie turned back to himself and stood up.
"Thank you guys, I can't do without you guys either," said Alfie.
"Come let's get on with it," said Eddie.
The club continued into the tunnel, Nina looked at Alfie wondering why Alfie saw what he saw.
In the meantime at school the auction was still going on.
"And the next item is these two sweet cuddly bunnies, who is going to bid £10?" Asked Mara.
KT raised her sign. The auction continued and more and more were being sold.
"And the next item are Victor's old-fashioned suitcases, but they are still doing very well, who will bid £10?" Asked Mara.
A man in the audience raised his sign. The auction kept going better and better everything from clothes, to sunglasses and an old surfboard of Eddie's was sold for over £500.
Back in the tunnels the club was still testing. Suddenly Amber stopped walking and sat down on the ground, with a scared look on her face.
"Ambs," said Aaron.
"Amber," said Nina.
"No, please don't leave me," said Amber.
"What's wrong with Amber?" Asked Eddie.
"I think she's facing fear," said Nina.
"Amber whatever you see, it's not real," said Aaron.
"How can you betray me like this?" Asked Amber.
"What does she see?" Asked Patricia.
"Amber what is going on? Who betrayed you?" Asked Nina.
"Nina I thought you're my best friend and Aaron you're my brother, I can't believe it that my own twin would to this to me," said Amber.
"Amber, I will never betray you," said Aaron.
"Neither would I," said Nina.
"Yes, you will, as soon as we get out of here, you guys are gonna live your own lives and forget about me," said Amber.
"Amber, it won't matter where I go I'll never forget you, You're my best friend, You're like a sister to me," said Nina.
"Ambs, listen to me carefully, we're twins, we will always be connected," said Aaron.
"You'll only be happy to be rid of me," said Amber.
"How can you think such a thing?" Asked Aaron.
"Because I know it's," said Amber.
"Okay, yes we'll be going to two different college's after we graduate, that's gonna happen. But no matter how far we're from each other, you and I have an unbreakable bond," said Aaron.
"Really, Aaron?" Asked Amber.
"Yes, we've been through so much together and no distance will break our twin bond," said Aaron.
"Nina? Aaron?" Asked Amber.
"Yes, we're here, this is really us,' said Nina.
Amber got up and hugged Nina and Aaron and was relieved hearing the kind words Nina and Aaron said to her.
"I'm so happy with you guys, I can't miss you," said Amber.
"I can't miss you either sis, you'll always be a part of my life," said Aaron.
"Let's move on," said Eddie.
"Wait," said Nina.
"What is it?" Asked Eddie.
"This is strange," said Nina.
"What do you mean?" Asked Patricia.
"What both Amber and Alfie have seen, it's not the fear they told us about," said Nina.
"Yeah, because I didn't imagine that I was trapped in a small space," said Alfie.
"And I didn't see any of my many fears," said Amber.
"How can that be? This is the tunnel of fear, this is where you face your fear," said Aaron.
"Exactly, but it's not our rational fears that we have to overcome, it's our emotional fears," said Nina.
"Our emotional fears?" Asked Aaron.
"Yes," said Nina.
"But what that means for us now?" Asked Eddie.
"No idea, but whatever we see, we've to remember it's not real," said Nina.
"Sibuna," said Patricia, while she did the Sibuna gesture.
"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while the did the Sibuna gesture.
The club walked further into the tunnel and they had no idea what was going to happen to them.
Back at school, the auction was almost over. A student walked in with the big white teddy bear and handed it to Jerome.
"And with this last item the auction is almost over and we close this auction with this big sweet white teddy bear, who will bid £5?" Asked Mara.
"20," said Jerome.
"£20 has been bid. Going once, going twice, sold for £20 to Jerome," said Mara.
The student came back and took the bear from Jerome.
"Ladies and gentlemen this was the auction, thank you for coming and have a nice day, said Mara.
Most people out of the audience got up and left the room. KT, Trudy, Mason and Isaac walked toward Mara, Jerome and Otis.
"You're guys were great," said KT.
"Indeed they were, I really have no words for, what you have done for me and my village," said Isaac.
"But we didn't raise enough money to save your village," said Mara.
"It's the little things in life that remind us all of the goodness that does exist in this world, And you have done something good," said Isaac.
Mara, Jerome and Otis smiled at the kind word of Isaac. Mr. Shepard walked up.
"Are we laughing at Mr. Sweet, who will soon no longer be working here," said Mr. Shepard.
"Just a moment, Mr. Shepard," said Mr. Sweet.
"Wait for what?" Asked Mr. Shepard.
Mr. Sweet said nothing and just looked at his watch.
Back in the tunnels, still the club was working on the task. Suddenly Eddie and Patricia turned to each other and they both had angry looks on thier faces.
"I don't love you anymore," said Eddie.
"The feeling is the same, I don't love you anymore either," said Patricia
"If we don't love each other anymore, why are we still together?" Asked Eddie.
"That's what I was wondering," said Patricia.
"So?" Asked Eddie.
"It's over between us," said Patricia.
"Over for good," said Eddie.
"Guys we don't have time for this, for your love drama," said Amber.
"Amber this is no ordinary love drama, this their fear, they share the same fear," said Nina.
"And that is?" Asked Amber.
"Losing their love, that they lose each other," said Nina.
"We've to help them," said Alfie.
"Patricia, Eddie, listen, what you're saying to each other right now is not real, this is your fear speaking for you," said Nina.
"I hate you," said Eddie to Patricia.
"You disgust me," said Patricia to Eddie.
"You're Patricia and Eddie, Eddie and Patricia, You guys are Peddie, you love each other so much," said Amber.
"Not anymore," said Eddie.
"And we'll never again," said Patricia.
"You don't mean this, this is your fear," said Nina.
"Patricia, Eddie is your Numbskull and Eddie, Patricia is your Yacker, you don't want to lose that, do you?" Asked Alfie.
"I don't," said Eddie.
"Neither do I," said Patricia.
"Patricia, what I said I didn't mean that," said Eddie.
"It was my fear that made me say those things, I wasn't myself," said Patricia.
"I wasn't myself either," said Eddie.
"Numbskull," said Patricia.
"Yacker," said Eddie.
"I love you," said Patricia.
"Love you too," said Eddie.
Eddie and Patricia hugged each other and were happy to have overcome their fear. Nina and Aaron were the only ones left to overcome their fear now.
Back at school. Two men entered the classroom a put a wrapped item down on the easel. Mr. Sweet removed the paper and it was the painting.
"Eric is that?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"The super ugly painting, said Otis.
"When I first saw it I had my suspicions, but because it was so dirty I had a small corner cleaned and it turns out, the restorer and the museum curator agree, I was right," said Mr. Sweet.
"About what?" Asked Otis.
"This is a lost 16th century masterpiece, a true work of art. Of course it needs to be completely restored, but then you also find yourself face to face with one of the highest points of French painting of some 5 centuries ago, Denis Bottanet," said Mr. Sweet.
"You almost got away with it, if only the press had been informed," said Mr. Shepard.
"And who says I didn't," said Mr. Sweet.
Suddenly all the reporters with their camera men came in, photographers. Mr. Sweet proudly stood in front of the painting while photographers took his picture.
In the meantime, the club was working on the trial. Aaron looked back to see where the club was, but he saw no one. When he turned around to walk further, but instead he froze up.
"KT," said Aaron.
"It's no use Aaron, you're too late," said 'KT'
"No, KT," said Aaron.
"I will never forget you," said 'KT'
"KT stay here!" Shouted Aaron.
'KT' got sucked into the ground and disappeared, Aaron ran to where 'KT' was standing and started digging.
"KT!" Yelled Aaron.
"Aaron, stop, said Amber, as she knelt next to her brother, trying to snap him out his fear.
"No, I've to save KT," said Aaron.
"That wasn't KT, it's your fear that's messing with you. Don't fall for it," said Amber.
"It's really my fear that's messing with me?" Asked Aaron.
"Yes, all what you saw wasn't real, said Amber.
"I'm not falling for it, I'm not falling for it, said Aaron.
"All right, keep repeating that to yourself, said Amber.
Amber helped Aaron up, the rest of the club walked towards Aaron and Amber.
"Thank you Amber," said Aaron.
"No problem," said Amber.
"From now on we stay together and we keep going," said Aaron.
The club walked further into the tunnel again and now only Nina was left who had yet to overcome her fears and this frightened her because she had no idea what awaited her.
In the meantime in the villa where Fabian was being held. Geoffrey walked into Fabian's room and gave him a pill. The phone rang and Geoffrey walked over to the window and picked up his phone. Fabian opened his eyes and took the pill out of his mouth and hid it under his pillow. 2 minutes later Geoffrey hung up his phone, Fabian quickly closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep. Geoffrey walked out of the room.
Back at school. A defeated Mr. Shepard walked out of the classroom, being booed by everyone.
"What an ungrateful loser," said Mr. Sweet.
"Eric does this mean you can stay?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"Yes, I can stay," said Mr. Sweet.
Ms. Delaney smiled and she hugged Mr. Sweet. Everyone clapped for the good news that Mr. Sweet can stay principal of the school.
"This is what I call all's well that ends well," said Isaac.
"But you're not rid of me yet, Since we donated this beautiful painting to the museum, they've decided to take the amount of money that your village needs to raise and donate it to you," said Mr. Sweet.
"Oh Isaac," said Trudy.
"Congratulations," said Mr. as he reached out his hand to Isaac.
"Thank you, This is really quite amazing," said Isaac, as he shook Mr. Sweet's hand.
"It just can't get any better than this," said Trudy.
Trudy gave Isaac a hug and Mara, Jerome and Otis gave each other a high five. Isaac let go of Trudy a looked at her.
"Actually it can get better than this," said Isaac, as he took Trudy's hands
"It can?" Asked Trudy.
"I don't know how to say this, but sweet Trudy," said Isaac, as he got down on one knee. "Will you marry me?"
Trudy looked at Mara, Jerome, Otis, KT and Mason who all nodded their heads hard.
"Yes," said Trudy.
Everyone began to cheer. Isaac stood up and he and Trudy jumped up and down happily, while Otis began to take pictures.
Back in the tunnels. The club was still working on the trial. Suddenly Nina stopped walking and stared ahead.
"Fabian," said Nina.
"Why didn't you help me?" Asked 'Fabian'.
"Nina what is it?" Asked Patricia.
"Fabian is here," said Nina.
"Fabian's not here, this isn't real," said Aaron.
"Yes, it is. He's right in front of you," said Nina.
"We can't see him because he's not here," said Amber.
"Nina, this is your fear," said Eddie.
"Don't listen to them, you know that I'm always have been the one you can rely on the most, Come to me," said 'Fabian'
'Fabian' reached out of his hand. Nina was hesitating about what she was supposed to do.
"Nina!" Yelled 'Fabian'
"You're not Fabian, Fabian would never yell at me," said Nina.
Nina threw her flashlight at 'Fabian' and then he broke into pieces and then gold light appeared.
"Where is that golden light coming from?" Asked Amber.
"Do you guys think that if we head to the light, that we have reached the chamber of the Masker of Anubis? Asked Aaron.
"There's only one way to find out," said Nina.
The club walked on and entered the chamber and there on a golden platform stood the Mask of Anubis.
"Guys, look," said Amber.
"The Mask of Anubis," said Nina.
"We made it," said Alfie.
Suddenly black smoke appeared and out of the smoke came Senkhara.
"Hand over the Mask of Anubis to me now!" Demanded Senkhara.
Nina and Eddie looked at each other and nodded their heads, She grabbed the Ring of Asenath and the Bracelet of Gyasi and Senkhara got scared.
"No, not the Ring of Asenath and the Bracelet of Gyasi," said Senkhara.
"With the Ring of Asenath and the Bracelet of Gyasi, we bring the powers of the Chosen One and the Osirian together, vanish evil spirit vanish, chanted Nina and Eddie in unison.
"No!" screamed Senkhara.
Two powerful beams came from the ring and bracelet and hit Senkhara. Senkhara tried to fight back, but the power of Nina and Eddie were much stronger then her, there was a loud bang and Senkhara went up in smoke.
"Is she defeated?" Asked Eddie.
"Did we do it?" Asked Nina.
"Is it really over?" Asked Aaron.
Aaron rolled up his sleeve and saw that his Mark of Anubis was gone.
"The Mark, it's gone," said Aaron.
The rest of the club checked themselves and saw that their sign of Anubis was also gone.
"So we really did do it," cheered Nina.
"We defeated Senkhara," cheered Eddie.
"We're free," cheered Amber.
"We will live," cheered Patricia.
The club gave each other a group hug and rejoiced. Then the club turned around and looked at the Mask of Anubis.
"Nina, the honor is all yours," said Eddie.
"Be careful Nina," said Amber.
"Yes," said Nina.
Nina walked up to the platform and took the Mask of Anubis off and looked at the club.
"We've the Mask of Anubis," said Nina, as she showed the Mask to the club.
The club was happy, Eddie and Patricia gave each other a kiss and Amber, Aaron and Alfie gave each other a hug.
"No!" yelled an all too familiar voice.
The club turned around and the saw Victor sr. standing in the chamber with the chest under his arm.
"The Mask of Anubis belongs to me," said Victor sr.
The task was over, but the battle was not. Will the club be able of keeping on to the Mask of Anubis. Or will the mask fall into the hands of Victor sr. after all?
