"Pain in the ass," Natalia said cycling her shots from her pump action to blast a hole into the monster's skull.
Suddenly a mighty roar echoes throughout the caves to see the Novalises flee to go back into their holes. "What the hell was that?" Artyom wondered as he never heard this beast's roar before.
"Well, whatever it is, we better keep moving," Natalia said for them to go further into the rocky tunnels to still hear the same roar from before. They go into an area that looks like someone is there to see a bed mattress along with assorted items.
"That could come in handy," Alisa said as Artyom puts them onto his backpack for them to continue into the caves.
They see a Novalis leap out of the shadows for them to roll out of the way for the creature to bear its fangs ready to pounce again.
"Not again," Artyom said aiming his Bulldog but a large shadow skirted across his vision to see the mutant and go into the corner.
"It must be the monster from before," Natalia said as they shine their light to see a large six-foot-tall reptile standing on all fours with a well-built frame, curved twin horns, an arrow-shaped head, and a long tail.
"Shit, it's a Dragon," Alisa said as the monstrous lizard took a big bite out of the Novalis with fresh blood over its mouth as it lets out a piercing roar for its sharp yellow eyes trained on the humans.
"Run," Natalia said as they move through the rocky pathway as the monster is chasing after them. Natalia is firing her shotgun but the pellets bounce off the thick scales of the mutant.
"Better bury this guy fast," Artyom said as they go through the caves with a Novalis trying to jump onto Artyom as he ducked under its lunge. The Dragon bites into the large mole to snap it in half with its large fangs with blood and guts spread onto the ground.
Alisa fires her carbine onto the ceiling making the rocks fall onto the monster trying to slow it down. They go into a large opening with the beast coming into the place to spread out a stream of acid with them getting behind rocks to shield from the projectiles.
"Time to burn this motherfucker," Natalia said to load up some dragon's breath shells into the tube of her shotgun. Artyom tosses a grenade to strike a powerful blast to shake the beast as it lunges at him. He rolls away as the huge monster smashes the boulder into pieces.
The mutant lizard emits a big roar that echoes throughout the caves as Natalia fires a blast of fire to burn into the scales of the Dragon. The monster roars in pain as the flames are burning away at the armored scales. "Guys, hit the exposed areas," she shouted as she gets behind cover to avoid the incoming beam of acid.
Alisa pops out to fire her carbine to score hits into the raw exposed area to make the Dragon yelp in pain and stomps its claws onto the ground to make some of the rocks fall from the ceiling. "We need to toss a grenade into its mouth," she said as she pulls out a grenade from her pack.
"You got a plan, big sis?" Natalia asked.
"Cover me," Alisa said as the duo draw attention by targeting the burned flesh to see the monster fall onto the ground as its mouth is wide open. "There," she tosses the grenade to manage to slip into its mauls.
Then the grenade explodes to sever the beast's neck with blood scattered all over the place as Alisa is covered in the Dragon's red blood.
"Works like a charm," Alisa said as her long platinum blond hair is colored red at the ends giving her an eerie appearance like out of a dark fairy tale.
"Seems like it, good work," Artyom said as Alisa goes up to the corpse to grab the horn that remains.
