At some point after the Otheon mission, Endeavor was taking Deku, Kacchan and Todoroki to Casa de Todoroki, as per the request of Todoroki's sister Fuyumi. This in and of itself was quite the surprise, but what really took the cake here was that Todoroki was dressed in the familiar brown uniform of a UPS deliveryperson.

"All right, do I wanna know why you're dressed like that, IcyHot?" asked Kacchan.

"You'll see."

Kacchan snorted and crossed his arms. "Well, as long as it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with that 'trick or treat' bullshit, I'll let it slide."

Thus, once Endeavor's Lexus LS 500 pulled up to the Todoroki household and everybody had gotten out, Todoroki pulled a cardboard box out of the trunk of the car. They then headed to the front door, where Fuyumi awaited.

"Come on in!" said Fuyumi. "Thank you for making time in your busy schedules to…wait, Shoto, why are you wearing that outfit?"

"I'm working for UPS now. Did anyone here order 20 cases of Halloween candy?"

Once again, Todoroki cracked up laughing.

"SERIOUSLY!?" yelled Kacchan. "AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA TORMENT THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY WITH YOUR STUPID JOKE!? WELL, HERE'S WHAT I THINK!"

Kacchan snatched the box away from Todoroki and stomped on it until it was all crumpled up, much to Todoroki's chagrin:

"NO!" Todoroki fell to his knees and threw his arms up. "BOXEPHSON! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?"

"COME ON, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!"

Kacchan grabbed Todoroki by the collar and dragged him into the house, while Fuyumi scratched her head at the whole thing:

"Does somebody wanna explain to me what's going on?"

"Apparently, Shoto has been cracking up over something he heard at a Christmas party," replied Endeavor. "Bakugo, Shoto, calm yourselves!"

Fuyumi turned to Deku. "Anyways, I'm Fuyumi, Shoto's older sister! It's nice to meet you! Thank you both for watching out for him!"

Deku bowed before Deku. "Um…thank you for going out of your way to welcome us into your home! It's an honor! Oh…right! I'm Todoroki's classmate Izuku Midoriya, and I couldn't be more excited to be here!"

Fuyumi gasped and put her hands up to her mouth. "I know who you are! I watched on TV when you fought my brother at the Sports Festival!"

Deku gasped and rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sorry! I kinda hurt him back there, but I swear it wasn't personal! Honest! It's just that we were giving it our all, and…"

"She understands that it was just a match, Midoriya," said Todoroki. "If only she understood about trick or treat, though." He began cracking up.

Kacchan smacked Todoroki upside the head. "NO ONE WANTS TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT!"

After everyone had taken off their shoes, and after Todoroki took off his UPS uniform, Fuyumi took them on a walk around the walkway surrounding the house.

"Sorry for the sudden invitation," said Fuyumi. "I'm delighted this managed to work out!"

"I'm glad you asked us over!" said Deku. "It's uh…pretty rare I get to see a friend's house."

"Natsuo's here, too?" said Todoroki. "I saw his shoes by the front door."

"Well, I wanted the whole family to get to know your new friends!" said Fuyumi.

Soon enough, everyone was seated for dinner. There was a veritable smorgasbord laid out: orange-flavored chicken, tonkatsu, sushi…the lot.

"Let me do introductions again: I'm Shoto's older sister Fuyumi; I teach at an elementary school nearby, and this is Shoto's older brother Natsuo. He's in college."

Natsuo rubbed the back of his head. "Hey, what's up?"

"Shoto, this is where you introduce your friends!" said Fuyumi.

"Right." Shoto pointed his hand at Deku and Kacchan. "These are two of my classmates in the hero course, Midoriya and Bakugo."

Deku sat up straight. "Uh…it's nice to meet you!"

Suddenly, a dead silence blanketed the room, and Natsuo turned his head away from Endeavor, much to Deku's consternation:

"Uh…" Deku looked over at Fuyumi.

"Uh…anyway, let's dig in before the food gets cold!" said Fuyumi. "If there's anything you don't like, please don't force yourself to eat it! I won't be sad!"

Deku nodded. "That's so nice! Thank you for the food!"

Everyone chowed down.

"Thanks for the food," said Todoroki.

"Yeah, same here," said Deku.

Deku beamed with happiness when he bit into some fried chicken bites:

"Whoa, this fried chicken is amazing!"

Fuyumi clasped her hands together. "I'm so glad you like it!"

"It's moist and well-seasoned on the inside while expertly crispy on the outside, giving you a satisfying mix of textures while pleasing the palate…"

"STOP ANALYZING DINNER, YOU FREAK!" yelled Kacchan. "YOUR MUMBLING'S RUINING THE TASTE OF MY MAPO TOFU!"

Todoroki swallowed a bite of unagi, that is, eel. "So, does anybody here want to hear a joke?"

"NO!" yelled Kacchan. "YA KNOW WHY!? 'CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA REPEAT THE SAME LAME-ASS JOKE THAT YOU'VE BEEN TORMENTING ALL OF US WITH SINCE THAT DAMN CHRISTMAS PARTY!"

"Bakugo, calm yourself!" Endeavor made a downwards pushing motion with his hand. "If Shoto wants to tell a joke, then let us hear it!"

Fuyumi smiled. "Yeah, I'm interested in hearing Shoto's joke!"

Natsuo shrugged. "I never knew Shoto was into jokes, but I'm up for it, I guess."

Todoroki nodded. "Very well. A guy walks into a bar and says 'trick or treat'."

Once again, Todoroki cracked up like the Titanic.

"SEE! I TOLD YA HE WAS GONNA SAY THAT!" yelled Kacchan.

Fuyumi scratched her head. "I don't get it. How is that funny?"

"Yeah, and doesn't laughing at your own joke like, defeat the purpose of it?" said Natsuo.

"Shoto, get it together!" exclaimed Endeavor.

"Yeah, you're making an embarrassment of yourself in front of your family!" said Deku. "Have you no shame?"

Kacchan punched Todoroki in the cheek. "YEAH, SHUT UP!"

This time, Todoroki continued to laugh.

"OK, THAT'S THE LAST STRAW!" Kacchan got up and threw his utensils down. "I QUIT HERO WORK, AND I QUIT THIS STUPID SHOW!"

"CUT!"

Various crew members moved about as Director Oji Shikeno approached Kacchan.

"Bakugo, you can't quit the show now!" said Shikeno. "Your contract's not up until the season finale!"

"I DON'T CARE!" yelled Kacchan. "I'VE HAD IT WITH ICYHOT AND HIS LAUGHING! THAT PROBABLY WASN'T EVEN IN THE ORIGINAL MANGA!"

"But the writers have been adhering to the manga as faithfully as possible! Here, even read for yourself!"

Shikeno handed Kacchan a copy of Volume 26 of the My Hero Academia manga, which the latter promptly swiped and proceeded to read through. Sure enough, Todoroki's laughing was canon to the manga.

"All right, you win." Kacchan tossed the book aside. "I'll stay on, but you better double my salary!"

Shikeno gave a thumbs up. "Can do! Places, people!"
