Luz has always loved animals. She doesn't care if they were a slimy frog or a dirty rat. She loves them all the same and the animals likes her too! And if she ever see someone do something cruel to animals? She will tear them apart limb from limb!
Just kidding! Or is she?
Anyways she remember one time she found a baby geese all alone. She and her mom took it in and raised it until it was old enough to fly and leave the nest. Such good times even if she did cry for a week because her geese friend left and never came back.
Luckily to cheer her up, her mom brought her to a dog shelter to volunteer. It was the best job ever! So many cute puppies and doggos!
If only she could punish those who abandoned their pets...
At some point she made a MewTube channel just to help the shelter out but one thing led to another she ended up turning the channel into more of a hobby by posting about animal videos like rescues, adoption, and some other stuff.
Since she had arrived at the Isles she haven't gotten the chance to post on her channel which was kinda disappointing until she found out the boiling Isles have the equivalent of the internet through their crystal balls and something called Penstagram?
So after bugging Eda for a day and maybe even guilt tripping her about her yet to fully heal right arm. Eda got her a penstagram. Which was why she was now recording her first video for her account.
"Hola everyone. Welcome to my channel!" Luz waved to the camera enthusiastically
"For those of you who don't know who I am. I'm the owl lady's new apprentice Luz Noceda! I arrived here through a magical portal but enough about me! Today I'm here to show you witches and demons my guide to understanding animals! or as you peeps call them, beast demons! By the way special thanks to the owl lady for letting me borrow her Penstagram while she fixes my phone!"
"Yeah yeah whatever! Just stay out of any shady websites! I don't want the lenderman knocking on my door just because you ordered something suspicious" Came Eda's annoyed voice from offscreen.
"You got it boss lady!" Luz gave a mock salute "Now for my first video I'm here to show you how to care...for Gnomes!"
Luz made a yay sound "You're probably thinking. Wait Gnomes aren't beast demons! Well according to my good friend Hooty-"
"That's me hoot!" came Hooty's voice from offscreen
"-Gnomes are actually beasts which surprised me too and even Eda and King didn't know! and I bet some of you didn't know too" Luz then walks over to the camera and picks it up
Static
The scene then cuts to what appears to be Luz now standing in the owl house living room "So Gnomes. I first encountered them when they tried to raid the owl house but luckily I managed to tame them! If you wanna know how, the secret is food" Luz winks at the camera
"and another thing about Gnomes is uh...huh. Wait I don't think I actually know more but not to worry! We can learn together!" Luz smiled nervously "We can start with what they look like underneath their armor!"
"Wait what?" came King's voice from behind the camera "Luz I don't think that's a goo-"
But before King could finish what he was saying the camera cuts to another scene
Static
"Okay, here's the plan. The Gnomes obviously eat right?" Luz said while getting closer to the camera "So we're gonna leave some food on the table and wait for them to eat it"
"I still think this isn't a good idea" King said
"King, your opinion is duly noted now hide! I Think I head Jeff coming!"
Static
"Ok here he comes" Luz said from behind the camera as she secretly records Jeff the gnome slowly approaching the table where she left a slice of cake
"Come on eat it" Luz whispered impatiently as Jeff seemed to approach the cake and sniff it "I wanna see what you look like underneath the mask"
"Can't you just ask them to show you?" King asked.
Luz turned the camera to King before saying "I could but this is more fun"
However when she pointed the camera back to Jeff she saw that the little gnome had finished eating the cake and even let out a small burp
"God damn it!" Luz jumped out of her hiding spot
Jeff said something to her while waving
"Good afternoon to you too Jeff" Luz sighed sadly at her plan failing
"Now what?" King asked her
"Time for plan B"
Static
Luz can be seen hiding behind a bush while the sounds of Gnomes fighting can be heard
"This is plan B?!"
"Yep! We go in there, grab a gnome and take off their mask!" Luz said proudly, finding nothing wrong with what she just said
"This is a huge breach of their privacy and that's coming from me!" King said exasperated
"Eh what's the worst that can happen? Just make sure to get it on camera"
"If we die, I blame you" King commented
Luz then proceeds to jump out of the bush, ready to grab a random gnome only to see that the opening was completely empty
"Wait what? They were just here. Where the heck did they go?"
"Heck if I know" King said
Just then the two heard a growling noise. King turns the camera only to see that Gnomes had combined into one giant gnome. They did not look happy
"Uh oh" King and Luz paled
"Run"
Static
"So *pant* I figured me and King *pant* will just chill out in my room for a while..." Luz said panting as King sits on her lap with a terrified look on his face
A loud roar from the gnome can be heard from outside
"Well, that's it for this video. What the Gnomes look like remains a mystery, but worry not maybe one day we will know for this is just the first of many videos to come! Now excuse me as I ready a peace offering for the Gnomes to apologize for what I did"
Luz got up close to the camera "Make sure to like and follow my page 'Your Friendly Witch Apprentice Luzura'. See you next time!" Luz winks to the camera before finally ending the video
Meanwhile...
Boscha can be seen scrolling through her Penstagram with a bored look on her face until she notices a certain video that was recently uploaded.
"Wait. Is that Luz?" Boscha said as she play through the video. She couldn't help but smile at it
"What a dork" She says in amusement as she likes the video and presses Follow
'I wonder if I should invite her to the annual Covention?' Boscha thought as she prepared to make a call to Skara
