Jade Learns The Truth
"Give me that bottle of wolf hair, please." Wu Chang said to Jade.
Jade picked up the bottle labeled wolf hair.
"Of course." Jade said, handing Wu Chang the bottle.
Wu Chang sprinkled some wolf hair into his potion.
"Now, please give me that bottle of goldfish scales." Wu Chang said to Jade.
Before Jade could hand Wu Chang the fish scale bottle, Jackie appeared in the doorway.
"Excuse me, Wu Chang," Jackie said. "I need to borrow my niece for a few minutes."
"Of course, Mister Chan." Wu Chang said to Jackie.
Jade left Wu Chang's workshop to join Jackie.
"Why did you want to see me, Jackie?" Jade asked.
Jackie put his hands on Jade's shoulders.
"Uncle, Tohru, and I have never told you this, Jade," Jackie said. "but you have Fairyardian blood coursing through your veins."
Jade was shocked, "You mean to say that I have magical powers?" she asked Jackie.
"That's right." Jackie answered Jade.
Jade was beside herself.
"Whoa! What can I do?" Jade asked Jackie.
"Well, for starters, you can transform into a fairy and back again," Jackie answered Jade. "just concentrate and give it a try."
Jade concentrated really hard but nothing happened.
