This leads them on a chase to Felicity's home town to meet her mother and Felicity's old High School chum Sam Perry who remembers her fondly. Rating has changed to M. After Oliver is injured fighting the Dark Archer for the first time, Felicity comes to visit him in the hospital, amusing Digg and inspiring Oliver into making a surprising overture.

Somewhere deep down inside they both knew that Felicity's insane hope that he was alive had been all that had kept them going too.
