Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.
It was kind of boring for Shoutmon to not do anything for a couple of hours. Usagi was still asleep and regaining her energy after healing the Shiten'nō from the Nega-energy. Taiki was very worried that Usagi would become pale once more as Yuu wanted to become a Senshi Knight like Taiki and the other Digidestined males. He didn't know if he wanted Usagi to go through the energy drain a third time just to appease Yuu. Though, he believed that Yuu wanted to do this to atone for what he did within the Digital World. 'Someone has GOT to talk to Yuu about atonement,' thought Taiki, 'Maybe Yamato or Takeru would know someone to talk to Yuu?'
"Mmm," hummed Usagi as she blinked her bleary eyes.
"Usa-chan," said a relieved Taiki.
"Taiki-kun," questioned Usagi as she slowly sat up.
As Usagi tried to sit up, Taiki went over to her and helped her. He was very relieved that Usagi was up from her nap. He also hoped that Usagi had gained enough energy to not pass out once more. Who knows when Yuu would accost Usagi to make him a Senshi Knight like the rest of them. Taiki was greeted with a beautiful smile from Usagi as she finally got into a sitting position. Lunamon, on her part, pushed Taiki away before hugging Usagi fiercely. "I was so worried, Usagi-chan," said Lunamon.
"We all were," said Taiki.
"Daijōbu (I'm fine)," said Usagi gently, "Just tired."
"Still," questioned Shoutmon before Lunamon cuffed him over his head, "Itai!"
"Serves you right," said Lunamon who crossed her arms.
"Even I could tell you that, Shoutmon," said Guilmon.
Usagi and Taiki grinned at each other before laughing. It was a while that their Digimon partners interacted with one another. Though, Guilmon knowing what tact was… That concept was mindboggling, especially when Usagi's Guilmon hung out with Takato's and learned a few things. Taiki stopped laughing though when Usagi started to cough a bit. Apparently, sleeping to get her energy up left her throat parched. Taiki got up from where he was seated and ran out of the door. Usagi, along with the Digimon there, looked at Taiki in confusion before Taiki was back seconds later, a water bottle in his hand. "Gomen," said Taiki, "Should have realized that you would need water."
"You worry too much, Taiki-kun," said Usagi.
"Well," said Taiki who handed the water bottle to Usagi, "With you bedridden for a few days due to taxing your energy levels, of course I would be worried. Your family was and still is worried about you, too, Usa-chan."
"Gomen," said Usagi as she slowly sipped the water battle, "Never meant to worry you."
"Though, to be fair, I do the same thing whenever I overtax myself," said Taiki.
"We're two peas in a pod," giggled Usagi.
"That we are," laughed Taiki softly.
"Huh," questioned all of the Digimon.
"It's an expression," said the two who were grinning at each other.
"Anyways," said Lunamon, "Shouldn't you be explaining something to Taiki-san, Usagi-chan?"
Usagi stopped grinning when Lunamon questioned her. She knew that when she woke up, Motoki would have let Taiki into her room so that she would explain what was going on with the silver aura that Taiki, Takuya, Taichi, and Daisuke emitted during their transformation. She, however, was not looking forward in hurting Taiki's feelings. She knew that her fellow female Digidestined knows about her slight crush on Taichi before natural feelings towards Taiki evolved from friendship to something more. Taiki, on his part, was waiting patiently for Usagi to explain whatever it was that Motoki couldn't explain to the four guys. Yet, unconsciously, Taiki knew that it would probably be something that would hurt his heart. "Usa-chan," questioned Taiki.
"I know you may not like to hear this," said Usagi who bit her lip, "I was even surprised by what Motoki-nī told Yama-nī, Takeru-nī, and Takato-itoko."
"I'm sure that whatever you will be telling Taiki, it won't be bad," said Shoutmon.
"I know for a fact that it will be bad," said Usagi.
"Usa-chan," questioned Taiki.
"Um," hesitated Usagi, "Well… Motoki-nī was explaining about the silver aura that surrounded you, Takuya-san, Taichi-kun, and Daisuke-san."
Taiki nodded his head as he braced himself for what was to come. Apparently, that silver aura that was intertwined with his Senshi aura meant something to Motoki. He took note that Usagi was also surprised by the news, indicating that she didn't know the significance of said silver aura. Taiki thought that it was probably due to having her Silver Millennium memories as Swiss cheese. Taiki listened as Usagi talked about how in the Silver Millennium, Queen Serenity IV was worried Usagi, as Princess Serenity V, wouldn't find someone compatible to marry. Usagi told Taiki that Queen Serenity IV made a wish that whoever glowed silver would be a potential suitor to the Princess. "Are you saying," interrupted Taiki, "That the silver aura means that Taichi-san, Takuya-san, and Daisuke-san are potential suitors to you?!"
"Don't forget yourself, Taiki-kun," said Usagi.
"How on Earth is the wish still in effect," questioned Taiki.
"I… am not sure," said Usagi, "I know that I had made a wish to be with someone that will love me for me before the Ginzuishō sent me to this Earth."
"So, maybe that wish reactivated Queen Serenity IV's wish," pondered Taiki.
"It could be a possibility," said Usagi.
Taiki, now knowing about the silver aura, knew it. He knew that being with Usagi would be too good to be true. Sure, the two were engaged to be married through a contract, but he thought that when they made their relationship known, nothing would get in the way of that love. Yet, with this revelation, did that mean the Ginzuishō thought that he couldn't make Usagi happy? Did that mean he was insignificant to be with Usagi after everything they went through together? The fact that he glowed silver may be because of the marriage contract between the two. Feeling dread, he also heard that Usagi called Taichi with a kun instead of a san. Did that mean Usagi also had some sort of feelings for Taichi? "Usa," questioned Taiki.
"Hm," answered back Usagi.
"Be honest with me," said Taiki, "Did I glow silver because of our marriage contract?"
"Eh," exclaimed Usagi who looked at Taiki in surprise, "Why would you think that?"
"Clearly, the Ginzuishō knew about the contract," said Taiki.
"Even so," said Usagi, "We clearly ignored it and fell in love after learning more about each other."
"Yet, three others also glowed," glowered Taiki, "I know that you love me and I love you, but let's be honest. I may not have glowed silver if that contract wasn't there."
"It could also be true that even without the contract, you would still glow silver, Taiki," said Usagi.
Taiki paused as he thought about that statement. Yes, it was true that with or without the contract, Taiki may have glowed silver, an indication that he was one of the potential suitors. He also knew that what he was questioning was his insecurities being played by this revelation. He thought back what Usagi and he have been through. They indeed ignored the contract and became the best of friends before the Digital World called on them. That adventure just strengthened their friendship and love for one another. Taiki, however, just couldn't shake the feeling that he was probably not enough to keep Usagi happy. He also remembered that if this Negaverse didn't come back, he wouldn't probably have known about this side of Usagi. "Again, be honest with me," said Taiki, "If we never were in a relationship, would you have thought about dating one of the others?"
"I would probably have crushes," said Usagi, "Demo, I would like to think that I would always choose you as my boyfriend."
"Even if you never told me this side of you," questioned Taiki.
"I would… eventually tell you about being Sailor Moon and the Silver Millennium," said Usagi, "Though, I have been trying not to think about the traumas I have had."
"Until now," said Taiki.
"Un," nodded Usagi in confirmation.
Taiki nodded his head as he thought about everything. So, ending Taichi's name with a kun wasn't anything to feel jealous over. He could just chalk it up as Yamato always bringing Taichi around as another older brother to protect Usagi. He also frowned about the traumas Usagi had. He knew that he can't really help Usagi with those, yet he felt that he could support her if she wanted to talk to someone else. But, the silver light… the silver aura… THAT was the thing that bothered him. "Usa," questioned Taiki.
"Hai," questioned Usagi.
"D-Do you think I'm enough for you," questioned Taiki.
"What do you mean," questioned Usagi.
"I mean," said Taiki, "What if the silver aura wants you to go on a date with the others before deciding to just stay with me? What if it is giving you options to date before we settle down in the future?"
"I rather not do that," said Usagi.
"Usa," said Taiki.
"Īe," said Usagi with incredulity, "You, my boyfriend, want me, your girlfriend, to go on one date with the other supposed suitors? And for what? My heart already knows that it is you that I want."
"Just humor me, Usa," said Taiki, "I just have to know that maybe the silver light is probably nothing… that they chose the other three so that you can see for yourself that you truly love me."
"A-Are you insecure about my love for you," questioned Usagi with sadness in her eyes, "That you would disbelief that I truly and deeply love you?"
Taiki winced at the sadness emitting from Usagi's eyes. It's not that he was insecure about Usagi loving him. He just believe that the silver light wants Usagi to know that Taiki was the only one for her, despite these so-called potential suitors. He, however, couldn't word it right as he thought about it in his head. Yes, he did have insecurities about being with Usagi since he saw the other male Digidestined having some sort of feeling for Usagi, but he was also confident that Usagi would still choose him despite all of these males surrounding her, family not included. Before Taiki could say anything else, Usagi sighed and looked away from him. "I-I'll think about it," said Usagi with some hesitance, "Demo, just know that my heart will always belong to you."
"Usa," said Taiki.
"N-Now, I think you should go and train with the others, Taiki-kun," said Usagi with a hesitant smile, "Though, please send Motoki-nī up. I wish to speak with him."
"U-Uh, hai," said Taiki.
- A Couple Of Minutes Later –
"Imōto," questioned Yamato.
When Taiki left, he found Motoki with Yamato, Takeru, and Takato. He thought nothing about this as he dazedly said that Usagi would like to speak with Motoki. That didn't help the others to see Taiki thinking about something. Taiki, on his part, didn't know if he was doing the right thing, but he couldn't voice it as he disappeared into the training room to train with the others. Usagi's male relations blinked at what Taiki said before dazedly going back to the training room. They, on their part, quickly rushed up towards Usagi's room and burst in, where they saw Usagi with a downtrodden look. "Yama-nī," sniffed Usagi.
"Are you crying," questioned Takato.
"I-I guess," said Usagi.
"What's wrong, imōto," questioned Motoki as Takeru hugged Usagi in comfort.
"I-I told Taiki," said Usagi.
"So, that's why he looked a bit dazed," said Takeru.
"Anyways," said Yamato, "What did he say?"
"H-He," started Usagi before burying her face in Takeru's arms.
"Lunamon," questioned Motoki.
Lunamon looked at her partner sadly. She was about to tell them about what Taiki said, but BlackAgumon beat her to it. He told them that Taiki was insecure about Usagi's love for him. BlackGabumon also commented on Taiki telling Usagi to date the other suitors once to see if she would develop something between the two. BlackTailmon scowled as she sharpened her claws. She knew she should have scratched Taiki's eyes out when he started to suggest Usagi to actually CHEAT on Taiki. The male relations were also scowling as Patamon landed in front of Usagi to give her a hug. "Taiki really did that," questioned a scowling Yamato.
"Maybe we should let Usagi do this," said Takato.
"Nani," questioned everyone in the room.
"Takato," questioned Takeru.
"W-Well," said Takato, "If Taiki wants to do it this way, then he has to prove that he won't be jealous of Usagi dating another guy. You all can see how insecure he is when the silver light also came out from Taichi, Takuya, and Daisuke. He's probably wondering why they were chosen if Usagi loves him."
"Well, if he thinks that," said Yamato with a scowl, "That still doesn't make up for what he said to Usa-imōto."
"I know," said Takato, "Though, after this and Usagi still loves Taiki, that will just prove that Taiki was in the wrong for doubting her."
"And," said Motoki, "He'll need to grovel and beg for doubting Usagi like that."
"Though, we're not going to make it easy on him, are we," questioned a scowling SaberLeomon.
"Īe," said Yamato who was still scowling.
"W-Will this really help Taiki and my relationship," asked a hesitated Usagi.
"Un," nodded Takeru, "Just hope that it doesn't backfire, ne?"
The other males nodded their heads. Taiki would rue the day he suggested Usagi cheat on him by dating the other potential suitors when, in fact, Usagi is already in love with Taiki. Usagi, on her part, looked worried though. She knew that she has a crush on maybe one of the suitors, but to voice it out loud? She was worried that her feelings would be mixed up once more, just like when Seiya came into the picture when Mamoru was supposedly in America, not knowing that Mamoru actually had his star seed taken away on that first flight. Usagi mentally shook her head as she started to doubt herself and her love for Taiki just as Motoki proposed the question… the question on who was first. "Alright," said Motoki, "If Usagi is doing this, then who is first?"
"I think Daisuke should go first," said Takeru, "He is least likely to be chosen by Celestia here."
"True," said Yamato, "Then, Takuya goes next, followed by Taichi."
"And we'll be there in the shadows with Taiki watching," said Takato.
"Unless a Youma appears," said Motoki.
As the males started to plan, Usagi couldn't help but think that something will most definitely go wrong with this plan. She really wished that she could just tell them that it won't be necessary because she will not go through with it. However, before she could object to whatever this plan is, a voice from downstairs echoed to the upstairs. "Hey," shouted a familiar voice, "Where's Naru and Cutemon!? Actually… where is everybody?!"
"Masaru and the others are back," stated Motoki.
"Well, let's go greet them," said Yamato.
"Except you, Celestia," said Takeru, "And don't worry. Patamon and I'll stay with you."
"Fine," sighed out Usagi, "Just don't tell Masaru anything."
"Hai!"
AN: Yeah… there's no way that this will backfire on Taiki.(⌒▽⌒)Oh, how to be so insecure that something like this would happen. Though, to be fair, Taiki does have a point about the silver light and the marriage contract. In the back of their minds, that contract is still there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whelp! I hope their relationship goes well. Don't you? (・_・ヾ Anyways, happy reading and see ya laterz! May be writing another one-shot for my Dragon ball/Sailor moon fanfic that's up for a while. Just an FYI. (;¬_¬) Bye bye! |・ω・`)
