Haku nodded, "That's pretty much right on- you're right.". He decided to stop the expression since she'd probably not know it. Pocahontas gave a small smile, and reached out to touch his knee, looking at him, "What does your heart say, Haku?".
"To be honest... my heart just completely beats for you.", Haku told her as they got even closer to each other. Pocahontas smiled even bigger, and exhales, "I know your parents disowned you, but what about Earth?".
Haku smiled, "I'll admit that I will miss Earth, but I don't have a home there, but right here, right now, you are my home, Pocahontas, along with Koda, that is, if you want me.".
Pocahontas said nothing more as she leaned forward and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. After a few moments, Haku slowly wrapped his arms around her though wasn't tight as Koda still was in between them.
Haku whispered softly, "I'm scared I'll disappoint you.", and Pocahontas gently shushed him, "You have never disappointed me, and you never will. What has brought it on?".
Haku exhaled, and pulled back to look at her, "There's one secret that I have kept, and my ex-parents knew about it, which was one of the reasons why they pushed me to court and marry a woman of my people before it was too late...".
Pocahontas caressed his cheek, "It's okay...You can tell me if you want to. I promise never to expose it on your behalf until you give permission.", and Haku took a deep breath, "I...I'm nearly infertile, if not already...".
Pocahontas shook her head, "That doesn't matter to me, Haku. Whether or not we can have more... we already have one.". She held up Koda a bit as Haku rubbed his head gently, "Yeah... I guess so...".
"He'll see you as his father, don't ever think he won't.", Pocahontas told him. "So long as I am a good father to him...", Haku pointed out.
"And what makes you think you'll be a bad one?", Pocahontas smirked as she kissed his cheek.
Haku exhales, "Probably because I have a lot to live up to his biological father...He will have questions once he is old enough to understand...", and Pocahontas smiled, "We will answer them, Haku. But Koda loves you already, and you love him in return, and that's enough for him at this age, and that's what he will know from now on.".
Haku blinks in surprise before smiling, "You truly are wise beyond your years, Pocahontas.", leaning in to kiss her warmly on the lips.
"I've had good teachers.", Pocahontas chuckled as she leaned against him. "Lay with me tonight... please?", she asked him. Haku blinked in curiosity, "Does that mean sleeping only or something else?".
"Sleeping.", Pocahontas tapped him on the nose. "I'm not willing to move that fast with you yet.".
"Sorry...", Haku rubbed the back of his neck. "It's alright... but... let's try not to rush anything, you know?", Pocahontas smiled reassuringly with a slight raised eyebrow.
Haku smiled, "I understand. I do not want to scare you off or anything. I haven't heard that phrase before. Back on Earth, there's a similar phrase called 'Do you want to get laid tonight?', hence my confusion.".
Pocahontas nodded, "Ah, that makes sense. I only want to be held in your arms, just sleep to the sound of your heartbeat. Is that better to say?", and Haku chuckled, "That's quite more specific and helpful, yes. And yes, I'd love to sleep with you.".
"Thank you, Haku.", Pocahontas smiled gratefully, and Haku kissed her forehead, "You're welcome. I'll grab a couple of bowls of dinner. I'm hungry after all that journey, and I am sure you're hungry after all that waiting.", and Pocahontas nodded.
Haku was amazed that Pocahontas actually wanted him despite his flaws and everything...He truly thought he was to be alone...But Pocahontas and Koda changed his life, gave him so much love he dreamed of.
The next few nights were fairly peaceful; of course, there was a tense mood in the air as essentially, the final attack was being planned out during this time. If successful; Scar would be dead; the leadership of the dark forces not only in the Congo but beyond would be decapitated and the treehouse liberated which was the strongest position amongst the jungle.
Of course, the Talons all were believers of Murphy's Law. If anything could go wrong, it usually would. So far; things hadn't gone really bad for them; but their luck surely wouldn't last forever, could it?
Perhaps they were balancing it out. After all, the war went for four years, going on for five now, and so many people lost in the war long before the United Talons came in. Either way, the Congo group knew that they have to bring the Congo back to freedom for the rebels.
It was nearing moon high as Haku came close to the fort, with the rest of the group and the rebels hiding behind the forefront of the jungle near the fort, and Haku, remembering Adam's directions, took a deep breath, and shifted into dragon, teleported through the torchlight in the first archer's spot, and before the archer knew it, his neck was snapped by the small dragon's strong teeth.
"Remember, we need to wait a bit for him...", Zuri reminded the Congo group. Khan had his forces all ready and surrounding the area, ready to attack on the proper signal.
"I know, time it right.", Pippa rolled her eyes. "Wait till he's in a good position to reach Scar and then cause the penetration in the defenses.".
"Which Khan and his forces will then attack and quickly overwhelm the minds of the defenders; waiting for orders that will never come and not knowing which is the main strike.", Adam added.
The girls nodded, waiting for Haku's signal. Haku kept teleporting and snapping the other two archers on their spots, and then teleported to the nearest campfire, where he slunk through the darkness to the closest horse trough, which is literally at the gate, and drank water in a scoop.
The gate guards knew nothing but pain and darkness as Haku blasted water-electricity lightning bolts at them, dropping dead, and Haku smirked to himself, glad that he discovered that particular part yesterday during training.
Haku walked up to the gate, freeing the locks, and then turned around to focus on one of the torchlights near the cages, teleporting, and landing gracefully before Tarzan's cage. Haku gestured with a talon to his mouth, signaling him to be quiet.
Tarzan nodded, and Haku leaned up to the lock, using his antenna to access the lock, and grinned to himself as he heard it unlock, and he opened it, and walked up to do the same to the chain locks, and gestured to the other cages.
Tarzan grinned, nodding, and gesturing to the treehouse, and Haku smirked, nodding, and focused to teleport to one of the torches on the shaded porch, and shifted slightly to pull out Adam's mirror, to pivot it around one of the torches, signaling the hiding forces.
Haku then shifted back to full dragon, flying up to a window, and grinned as he saw still a lit candle in the fireplace, and teleported though the flame, and just as there was a roar of battle-cries, Scar woke up in surprise, but that was the only thing he knew before Haku was inches away from snapping his neck.
However, Scar was much quicker than he expected and Haku found himself taking quite a hard fist to the jaw before a blade that Scar had right by his bed nearly took off his head. Haku thankfully dodged it but made a mental note that if the same situation would happen with Frollo, he'd quietly remove any weapons that would be near him before going for the kill.
"So... finally come to fight, have we, dragon?", Scar licked his lips as he got into a standoff with Haku. Haku opened his mouth and a bolt of lightning shot forward that caused Scar to go wide-eyed and quickly dived down to avoid it.
Haku flew as fast as a flash at Scar, his claws blinding Scar's eyes, and Scar shouted out in pain, swinging the blade everywhere as Haku dodged, grateful for his small size before ducking behind Scar, and just as Scar was wiping off the blood off his eyes, trying to see, Haku attacked, his teeth piercing Scar's neck.
Scar yelled, losing the blade, and tried to grab at Haku, but Haku only tightened his hold, breaking through bone, snapping it, and Scar fell forward as he saw darkness, the last thing he knew as his breath left him, unable to say even one word, and Haku held long enough to make sure that Scar was dead.
Haku snorted as he let go, spitting out blood, and walked off Scar's corpse, and went to open the door to the railing, and giving out an impossibly loud roar of lightning sparks and fire compared to his small stature.
Khan gave out a sigh of relief the moment he heard that. The rest of his forces too, suddenly swelled with confidence as they understood that they were going to win this night.
It was only an hour later when everything was somewhat calm around the treehouse. Scar's forces were overwhelmed and destroyed in quick order with whatever survivors fleeing into the jungle, no longer a major threat to Khan and his forces.
The people from the ruins came out of the tunnels nearby, laughing and hugging all the freed prisoners, and the Congo group's hearts melted at the sight of Shere Khan and Tarzan reuniting with tears, hugs, kisses, and touches, with the triplet children smiling and giggling as they met Tarzan officially for the first time in a long time.
Deep under the roots of the treehouse was the ceremonial crowns, and Shere Khan and Tarzan recovered them, and at the top of the balcony, with them crowned, Shere Khan shifted into his tiger form, with Tarzan shifting into his gorilla form, roaring in unison, with an emphasis on telling the entire Congo that it's now reclaimed back to King Shere Khan and King Tarzan.
"Feels a bit like the end of Return of the Jedi here.", Zuri chuckled as the Talons were sitting back and enjoying the celebration the rebels were enjoying.
"Still almost hard to believe that we've taken out Scar... it's Frollo... he's all that's left and then this war might truly be over...", Adam said.
Pippa grinned, "Indeed. But we still have a major problem. Pleasure Island. Hey, Haku, you think you can teleport another person or more through fire with you?".
Haku blinked, "Never tried that yet. Why?", and Pippa replied, "So, we can tell King Mickey at Cair Paravel. He deserves to know that Scar's dead, and his forces can retake Pride Valley back, with his Captains, Phoebus and Helga.".
Zuri smiled, "Yeah, and I can be your test person, Haku. It should be like floo travel, in the Harry Potter stuff... Adam, could you show the throne room in your mirror? I swear that there's torches and a fireplace in there.".
Adam nodded, "I could try.", asking his mirror which Haku returned earlier, and he nodded, "Yep, there's a fireplace, and it's all lit. King Mickey is talking with Sarah.".
"Okay then... I guess we can try this... maybe though we should at least alert King Mickey and all... somehow.", Haku said. "I don't exactly want to find myself nearly getting cleaved again because I dropped in unannounced.".
Sparky's voice is heard mentally by Haku, 'Do a fire message in the wall. Focus on the fireplace through the mirror and use your finger to guide a bit of the fire to the wall besides the fireplace, and write a message, short and simple. If long, it's harder.'.
Haku nodded as the girls gave him a look. "Sorry, Sparky... my guide... telling me what I can do.", he explained as the girls nodded in understanding. "Alright then... just something simple... the Congo has been liberated; that'll be welcome news to them.".
Adam smiled, "That sounds perfect, and mark it as Talons at the end.", and Haku nodded before taking a deep breath and started to follow Sparky's directions, watching the mirror.
Meanwhile, in Cair Paravel, King Mickey is conversating with Sarah over the meals for the next day when he heard a hissing sound, and he looked over at the fireplace with Sarah looking his way. The flames started to glow, and there was suddenly a stream of fire flying out of the fireplace, turning to the right, to the wall, but it didn't burn, but there is certainly a smoking scent as the stream started to form letters.
"Does someone smell that?", Sarah asked as Mickey pointed behind her to slowly see the message being written. "Oh.".
In a few minutes, the message was written, and King Mickey widened his eyes, "Oh, by Aslan, they did it! That means Scar is dead, and Pride Valley is free to be reclaimed! Sarah, get Captains Phoebus and Helga! I know it's late but wake them up!".
Sarah nodded with a wide smile, "Yes, your majesty!", bowing her head, and left in a sprint out of the throne room, and Mickey smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Congo team!".
Back in the Congo, the group saw the interaction in the mirror, and Haku grinned, "Well, that settles it, looks like he doesn't need us to appear to him. Still, let's test the teleportation out.", before shifting into dragon form, holding out a paw.
Zuri smiled, "Just through that campfire in the distance, okay?", and Haku nodded, and Zuri grabbed ahold of his paw, and Haku focused on the campfire, and to Zuri's surprise, she didn't feel pain or anything harmful, just a tickle-breeze, and landed on the other side of the campfire.
"Okay, that's pretty cool...", Zuri chuckled as Haku clearly had a smirk on his dragon face. "I envy you that you got that power.".
Haku shifted back to human with a laugh, "True, traveling through fire is effective and cool, but I bet you could teleport through water or something. You just have to be patient, Zuri, when it comes to your turn.".
They walked back to the others, and Pippa laughed, "That's brilliant! You can teleport us to the others wherever they are.", and Pocahontas, having seen the incredible gift of Haku, walked up, holding Koda, "Can I come with you?".
"Well, it fully depends on you. I wouldn't want to try it with Koda and all though with how young he is.", Haku warned as Pocahontas nodded, "True...".
"I mean, I don't think it would have really any effect, but I don't know, grown people can easily handle the fire travel as it seems... but a baby...", Haku trailed off.
Zuri pointed out, "And we're going to the ship that is headed for Pleasure Island. I wouldn't want to risk you two. Oh, don't get me wrong, Pocahontas, you're a good fighter for justice, but with Koda in tow, you'd be distracted and worried.".
Haku took a deep breath, "I'd feel much better if you stay with the kings here, and Koda would be distracted with the triplets of theirs.", squeezing Pocahontas's hand as he rubbed Koda's head with his other hand.
Pocahontas nodded as she understood, "You're right... last thing any of us need is to worry about Koda. He's better off here, but he's still much too young to be left with anyone else right now.".
"Exactly, he needs his mother's milk for sure still.", Haku said.
Pocahontas sighed deeply, "I will stay here. Do you promise to be careful and come back to me and Koda?", and Haku leaned his forehead on hers, "I promise, honey. I love you, Pocahontas.".
Pocahontas gave a small smile, "I love you too, Haku.", before sharing a gentle, passionate kiss for a moment, and Haku bowed his head, kissing Koda's forehead, "Take care of your momma for Hapa, okay, kid?", smiling softly.
Koda babbled, planting a wet kiss on Haku's cheek, and Haku chuckled, "I love you too, Koda.", and he gave a smile at Pocahontas before he turned around to the group, "Adam, show the ship. I'd have to send a message. I know most of them won't be too surprised, but Eric, or Captain Amelia, they would be on their guard a bit. I don't want to be stabbed.".
"Will do. I know there's just enough room for us.", Adam said as he got things ready with the mirror. "You think it'll be alright for us to leave?", Pippa asked. "Sorry, I just had the thought cross my mind.".
"Khan's forces are mopping up any stragglers. Whatever's left will probably flee to Pride Valley or Frollo's territory. Either way; they're no longer a true competing threat to the Congo.", Zuri reminded.
Pippa nodded, "Fair enough. Even with Facilier dead, there's still the Coachman and whoever else is with him, doing dastardly things, and it's bad enough that Mulan and her army got taken away, we can't afford to lose any more kids to Coachman's tricks.".
Zuri smiled, "My thoughts exactly, girlfriend.", and Haku nodded, "With the entire United Talons group, it would be a bit easier to get into Pleasure Island than half of the team, not that I trust Emma, Silver, Logan, Jasmine, and Jason, but I do.".
Adam called out, "I got the ship in view. Torches are lit.", and Haku walked over to see through the mirror, smiling as he saw the second night rotation of the crew which is Silver, Logan, and Eric. He took a deep breath, and started to do his fire message, muttering to himself, "Congo liberated. Permission to come aboard? -Haku.".
