Principal Nezu was a prinicpal of numerous experiences.

With as long as he worked as a principal molding potential heroes that have grown into some of the biggest names in the hero world, that he could have said that he's seen everything that there is to see. However even he couldn't prevent his jaw from almost slamming against his desk as he looked at the document pile in front of him and in front of that pile was one Katsuki Bakugo.

One of those students with massive potential to become a groundbreaking hero with the kind of name you couldn't forget, the look on his face was completely serious while Nezu flipped through the pile as he wordlessly looked back up at the blonde teen.

"You'll catch flies like that y'know."

Katsuki said simply as he had his arms crossed while looking at the principal in front of him who quickly shook his head before taking a sip of his coffee, Nezu cleared his throat as he looked at the blonde teen.

"A-are you sure this is what you want to do?"

Nezu asked trying his best with a faux air of confidence as Katsuki nodded his head at the principal who wiped at his forehead. "Perhaps this is incorrect paperwork, I must have threw it in there with your HHS paper by mistake-" Nezu was cut off by a huff as Katsuki leaned toward the principal with confident red eyes gleaming at the man, the unshakable expression on Katsuki's face only further proved he was serious about this.

"No, that's the correct paperwork for what I want."

Katsuki said firmly, causing Nezu to put his coffee cup down and lean back into his chair, still looking at Katsuki with widened eyes.

"...I don't understand. Is this about the 50 requests? That's just a prerequisite for you to learn more about heroics in no means is it anything to demean your status. As a matter of fact much of the world is grateful for your efforts during the war-"

Nezu was cut off by Katsuki again as the blonde pushed the paperwork closer to the principal before he took a sip from his own coffee cup.

"Are you signing off on this or not?"

Katsuki asked as Nezu was legitimately drawing a blank, his IQ was practically unparalleled to most humans let alone others in his own series of species and he still couldn't come to a proper conclusion to the sight in front of him.

Katsuki Bakugou was withdrawing from the hero course.

Well to be more exact he was withdrawing from the portion where he would graduate to become a pro-hero, graduating from here will just look like a high value credit on his resume to go to any college he wishes. The stack of paperwork in front of him was indicating that Katsuki no longer wished to be a hero.

And Nezu's brain couldn't compute that in the slightest.

"I understand… Honestly no I don't, Mr. Bakugou one of the things that I always found admirable and interesting was your unshakable resolve to become the best of the best, lifting you up to new heights beyond where you used to be. Why throw all of that away now?"

Nezu asked with urgency in his voice while Katsuki leaned back in his chair in front of the principal's desk.

"I wanna know what I can't do."

Katsuki said while Nezu looked at the boy curiously as Katsuki looked down at his palm scanning the multiple scars on his hand from his time in the conflict before clenching his fist. "I asked that same question when I went to Endeavor's work study, from there I learned a little of what I couldn't do. Even then I was still weak." Katsuki said while Nezu nodded his head at the teen.

"As far as the world and even myself are concerned, Dynamight died on the battlefield that day."

Katsuki said while Nezu looked away toward his desk, unable to make eye contact with the boy who took another sip of his coffee. Katsuki looked down at his own lap while he continued speaking.

"I'm only here because of the sacrifices of true heroes, in comparison to them the trade off wasn't worth the kid who stood back up after their deaths…"

Katsuki said while Nezu kept his eyes on his desk while he couldn't even look at the blonde teen ahead of him. He felt like a failure as a principal, no matter how much time passes Katsuki would always feel like their blood was on his hands.

He ignored the weight that has on the mind of a teenager just for the sake of normalcy.

That made him feel sick.

"Don't misunderstand though."

Katsuki said while Nezu looked back up toward the blonde teen who now had a thumb pointed toward himself, a cocky grin now graced his features much to the surprise of the principal.

"I still plan to be the best."

Katsuki said with a confident growl as the somber look on Nezu's face changed to a surprised expression while Katsuki looked back at the principal, Katsuki then leaned forward in his seat.

"What it means to be a hero is something that someone should determine for themselves right? I can't let their deaths be in vain by just quitting, but I'm going to decide my own path, my way to be the best to let them know that I'm here." Katsuki said while Nezu's face started cracking into a smile while Katsuki stood up from the chair he was sitting in.

"I'll take on this job and kill the shit out of it, you'll be practically singing my praises everyday with how amazing I'll be. I'll find my own meaning, I'm going to make sure they both can rest in peace with their faith in me."

Katsuki said while Nezu's eyes began sparkling at the blonde teen in front of him.

"I'll be my own kind of hero, number fucking one!"

Katsuki said while Nezu exhaled, he didn't even notice he was holding his breath as he grinned back at Katsuki. "So, I'll ask you this time, Rat. I wanna know what I can't do, so I learn and grow even stronger. Think you can help with that?" Katsuki asked with a cocky grin while Nezu nodded his head.

"Of course."

Nezu said before taking a page from the pile before looking at Katsuki. "I'll be giving you a promotion, I'll have you join the faculty as an administrative assistant for the hero and support courses." Nezu said while Katsuki nodded his head at the principal who began signing the sheet of paper in front of him.

"This role will still have the responsibilities of the HHS but you'll be considered a member of faculty meaning there will be far more responsibilities." Nezu said while Katsuki nodded his head.

"Bring it on."

Katsuki said while Nezu smiled, writing his name down on the sheets.

"In order to continue staying in this position we do still need you to become a pro hero, the faculty at U.A does need experience out in the field before they can be fully considered faculty."

Nezu said while Katsuki rolled his eyes at the principal. "I was going to do that anyway." Katsuki said while Nezu looked up from the papers he was signing.

"You'll still require hero course credits, what this means is you can still attend class and you'll still need to complete your exams to graduate with those credits. The only thing is you'll be losing your class number."

Nezu said while Katsuki nodded his head at the principal before putting his hands in his pockets shrugging. "I figured, I want to give my seat to someone else." Katsuki said while Nezu raised an eyebrow at Katsuki who pulled out a small folder from his pocket placing it on the desk.

"This is…"

Nezu said while Katsuki turned his head away with a huff. "Zombie fuck, I don't think you should keep him benched due to a technicality. He'll take my number, he did just as much as everyone else did then." Katsuki explained while Nezu smiled at the picture of Hitoshi Shinsou before he nodded rapidly, stamping a piece of paper.

"Consider it done. Katsuki Bakugo… as of today, you are no longer in class 3-A. Welcome to the staff."

Nezu said brimming with pride while tightened his tie around his neck as he nodded toward the principal.

"Should I break the news? Or is this something you prefer to do yourself?"

Nezu asked while Katsuki shrugged at the principal. "Tell the world for all I care, doesn't change the fact that I made this decision." Katsuki said while Nezu kept smiling brightly at the blonde haired boy.

"Of course!"

Nezu said as he extended a hand toward the blonde who gave it a look as Nezu chuckled at the boy. "In the world of adults the best way to seal a deal is with a handshake, as long as you are a staff member you'll have to get used to this." Nezu said while Katsuki huffed, shaking the hand of the principal.

"I can shake a damn hand."

Katsuki said while Nezu smiled at the boy as Katsuki turned to leave the room before a clearing throat stopped him. "Don't forget this." Nezu said, pulling out a card that Katsuki grabbed from the principal, the card read staff with basic details on it.

"This is your temporary badge, once we get you fully acclimated you'll receive your official one. I'll be expecting you at the staff meeting we'll be having in a couple of weeks."

Nezu said while Katsuki turned again waving a hand.

"Yeah, a meeting in a couple of weeks got it."

Katsuki said while he walked toward the door, the blonde boy had grown taller since he first came to the school. No longer was he the eager 15 year old boy, now he was taking his steps into adulthood taking it head on in his own way. That made the blonde shine bright in the eyes of Nezu as he smirked while taking a sip of his coffee, noticing that it had gone cold.

"Toshinori, I think you were right to believe in him."

Nezu said to no one in particular as Katsuki walked through the open doors only to be greeted by two other staff members. Present Mic's jaw was dropped almost comically while Aizawa had his own look of shock while Katsuki just looked at his fellow staff members.

"Get used to being Venus Fly Traps, I'll be doing my best from now on. So do your best to keep up, Teach."

Katsuki said confidently while he walked past both of the men while Present Mic looked down at Aizawa in his wheelchair.

"Are you Teach or am I Teach?"

Present Mic asked while Aizawa sighed, chuckling at the other man.

"Obviously, it's me."

Aizawa answered while Present Mic huffed at his old friend.

XXXX

Katsuki Bakugo withdrew from being a hero.

Granted he was still taking the hero course but currently he was focused on working alongside heroes in more of a support role hence his new job in the faculty. In the two weeks since the news was announced most of Tokyo had heard the news causing all sorts of buzz to be focused on the prestigious hero school. It was the talk of U.A for the longest still being a hot topic to this day even most pro heroes interested in the prospects of the boy were puzzled by this decision.

The strangest thing about it was that no one except for Katsuki and the staff since the announcement has had even a shadow of an idea of why he made such a decision. There were theories passed back and forth about the potential reasons, some say it's medical, others say it was because of some new person in his life to take care of, some even believe it was due to shattered pride.

However to this day Katsuki hasn't confirmed a single thing about why he made this decision and he didn't plan on divulging it anytime soon.

Hitoshi Shinsou had become a member of class 3-A after being placed on a waiting list after the events of the war, taking seat number 20. The class of 3-A was completely baffled by the decision of the boy, especially a certain green haired boy who drew nothing but blanks despite the questions mostly being pointed his way. Izuku sat at his desk rubbing his chin while muttering as he had been for the past couple of weeks.

It just didn't make sense.

Last time they talked Katsuki was talking as big as he always had, they were rivals and despite the fact that Izuku was some kind of savior he would still surpass him. This inspired Izuku to continue to work harder mastering his new found quirk, now that One for All was destroyed along with All for One.

What was it that suddenly caused his friend to quit all of the sudden?

And why wouldn't he say anything?

"Does he always do that?"

Hitoshi asked while Kyoka sighed looking at the green haired boy with his classic onomatopoeia coming from him in waves while Kyoka shrugged her shoulders at the purple haired boy. "Honestly, It's kind of refreshing seeing it again. Also honestly, I don't blame him at all. All of this is crazy..." ,Kyoka said while Hitoshi looked at his desk being Katsuki's old desk with a somber look as he looked back up toward Kyoka.

"For some reason this desk feels kind of big, I'm honored to be here not to mention grateful but I'm not sure I can replace Bakugou."

Hitoshi said while Kaminari patted the boy on the back.

"Dude you aren't a replacement for Bakugou, you're you. You earned your spot fair and square…" Kaminari said, trying to encourage Hitoshi while Mina nodded her head at the purple haired boy.

"Yeah, don't even sweat it Hito! We're glad to have you!" Mina exclaimed while the purple haired boy nodded before coughing a little when Kirishima slapped him on the back.

"Welcome to 3-A man!"

Kirishima said while Hitoshi nodded his head while Izuku kept muttering to himself about the situation, Ochako could practically hear the boy's brain frying from trying to understand what happened.

"Um Deku?"

Ochako asked while Izuku kept muttering to himself before Ochako sighed, reaching her hand out to tug on the side of Izuku's face. "Ah! Oh Uraraka, my bad I was a little lost in thought…" Izuku said while Ochako nodded her head at the green haired boy.

"I don't blame you. The news surprised all of us, the fact that he hasn't shown up since the news was broken isn't helping either."

Ochako said while Izuku nodded his head at the brown-haired girl. "Yeah…", Izuku said while Ochako tilted her head at the teen in front of her. "There's no need to be so down in the dumps about it, maybe there is a legitimate reason for this." Ochako said while Izuku nodded his head.

"That's right, maybe there is but there are plenty of things that could have caused it. It could be the effects of Cluster, it could be guilt… it could even be me."

Izuku said while Ochako reached out and rubbed the boy's shoulder while giving him a small smile.

"You can't think like that, I know he's a little rough around the edges but trust him. He'll tell us eventually."

Ochako said, causing Izuku to smile back at her. "Thanks.", Izuku said while Kaminari suddenly stood up from his seat.

"Kiss Kiss Kiss!"

Kaminari chanted while Izuku's face exploded red while Ochako looked away from Izuku as the green haired boy started waving his hands.

"Kaminari! Don't encourage PDA in class!"

Tenya yelled while the class began becoming noisy causing Hitoshi to smile slightly while Kyoka began laughing. Momo glanced over at the seat that previously was owned by Katsuki with an unreadble expression before she went back to her notes.

XXXX

"You're late."

The former pro hero Eraserhead said to the young blonde as he dropped his stuff by his own little desk in the Staff Room. "Tell me something I don't know.", Katsuki Bakugo, third year at U.A high and assistant faculty for said while Aizawa gave him a look.

"I'm getting married in the spring."

Aizawa said casually causing Katsuki to do a spit take before looking at his teacher with a surprised look on his face.

"Bullshit, what happened to 'Ms. Joke can't make this guy laugh.' Huh?"

Katsuki asked, quoting the now amused teacher who sighed before shaking his head. "That was a lie, why does everyone assume it's going to be her anyway?" Aizawa asked, sipping his coffee while Katsuki gave the man a shrug.

"Maybe because she's the only woman you hang around. Especially after your injuries, she was all over you like your own personal nurse."

Katsuki said in a teasing tone while Aizawa huffed. "You know it's hard to take her seriously… besides there's no way it's like that." Aizawa said while Katsuki shook his head cupping a hand behind his ear.

"Did you hear that? That's the sound of a man who's denser than most celestial bodies."

Katsuki quipped sarcastically before pointing toward his teacher. "When you go swimming, what sinks faster, Your body or your head?", Katsuki quipped again while Aizawa rolled his eye at his fellow staff.

"Anyway, in actual news I think I'm going to be retiring soon.", Aizawa said while Katsuki looked toward the man with a more somber expression.

"You need the rest anyway, plenty of time for you to finally get a grip and talk to that lady. Before she jokes about marrying me again."

Katsuki said quickly while Aizawa chuckled at the boy. "See why I don't take her seriously?" Aizawa said while Katsuki looked at Aizawa's desk noticing that it had started to become emptier than before.

"Let me guess, you want me to take your spot one day? It's 'my turn' or something like that?" Katsuki asked while Aizawa shook his head at the blonde standing across from him.

"Nothing like that, what you do after this is whatever you want. I just wanted to let you know." Aizawa said while Katsuki looked to the side away from the man.

"By the way, you'll be on duty with me during the 1st year quirk aptitude test today."

Aizawa said while Katsuki huffed at the teacher. "Now I'm your accomplice in torturing kids? It really is my turn huh?" Katsuki joked while Aizawa sighed at the blonde teenager's response.

"We can't just allow them to get big heads just because they got into this school, just look at what happened to you."

Aizawa joked while Katsuki huffed.

"Yeah Yeah, you better be glad. I turned out great."

Katsuki said, walking toward his teacher's wheelchair while Aizawa smirked.

"Eventually."

Aizawa said while Katsuki began wheeling the older man through the halls of the school, they were on their way to Aizawa's 1st year class. "Have you started to get acclimated?", Aizawa asked while Katsuki pushed the man in his wheelchair.

"No one ever told me about the metric fuck ton of paperwork that came with the job, not to mention everyone is too busy freaking out to put in requests."

Katsuki said to Aizawa who nodded his head at the boy.

"Don't you think you should elaborate eventually?" Aizawa asked while Katsuki shook his head. "Elaborate what? You want me to say 'Hey you fucks I'm part of the staff now?' They know what they need to know." Katsuki said while Aizawa shook his head at the boy.

"I think they'll be worried if you just suddenly disappeared, don't be too surprised when I say this but… you have friends."

Aizawa said in a mocking tone while Katsuki just huffed in response. "It was worse when everyone was told I died, something like this is tiny compared to that whole thing." Katsuki said while Aizawa shook his head at the blonde teen.

"Whatever you say."

Aizawa said while Katsuki continued pushing the chair.

They eventually reached the door that had 1-A on it causing Katsuki to look at it with nostalgia while he opened the door for his teacher. They both entered a rather quiet classroom causing both of them to look toward one another.

"Alright, quiet down everyone."

Aizawa said while one of the students stuck his hand up, "But sensei we're already quiet." The student said while Katsuki snickered before Aizawa just grinned.

"Right, today is going to be a little different."

Aizawa said while Katsuki began walking out of the classroom only for Aizawa to stand out of his chair normally to walk toward the chalkboard causing Katsuki to fume while his teacher just smirked at him. Katsuki growled at his teacher.

"If you could walk then don't get me to wheel you around old man!"

Katsuki yelled while he turned, meanwhile Aizawa waved, "Tell everyone I said hi and don't be late for this afternoon." Aizawa said before the door shut behind him.

Katsuki couldn't help but smirk at the older man while walking to the class awaiting him.

XXXX

The door slid open revealing Snipe the sharpshooter pro hero standing at the front of the class speaking to them before his attention was turned to the blonde. "Ah Bakugo, nice for you to finally join us." Snipe said with a slight sarcasm to his tone while Katsuki huffed while walking in toward the back of the classroom.

"Don't quit your day job Eastwood, I guarantee it'll pay better." Katsuki said while Snipe just sighed at the blonde boy who took a seat while his classmates quietly greeted him as Snipe got back to his lesson.

"Bakubro, good to see you man." Kirisihima greeted while Katsuki started pulling his books out, "Kirishima." Katsuki greeted while the red haired boy grinned at him. Another blonde grinned and nudged the lighter blonde boy causing to look toward his direction.

Kaminari looked back at the boy with a large grin on his face, "Welcome to the class dude, you're probably late because of your new fancy job." Kaminari asked while Katsuki narrowed his eyes at the boy.

"Oi Dunceface, why are you so damn loud? Class has started, dumbass."

Katsuki said while Kaminari sighed while shaking his head, "And here I thought you went through a character arc, you even went back to using nicknames." Kaminari said while Katsuki huffed at the boy.

"When did I stop using nicknames? Also what you thought after one little apology I was going to become some patron saint? Hell no."

Katsuki said while Kaminari went to say something else but was suddenly jabbed by an ear jack causing the boy to groan before looking toward his assailant. Kyoka had her eyes narrowed at the boy while pointing toward Snipe who was still lecturing.

"Shut up, are you trying to get caught fooling around?"

Kyoka said while Kaminari rubbed his side, "My bad." Kaminari said while Katsuki had already accepted the chaos around him as a part of his daily routine. His eyes traveled toward Izuku's desk while the boy looked back at him before sending a wave his way, Katsuki huffed before he gave his own wave back toward him.

Izuku smiled before he looked back toward the front before his vision traveled to grey making eye contact with his own personal enigma. Her black hair tied in its classic spiky ponytail bobbed when she noticed they caught each other's eyes. Momo looked away first and rather quickly at that while Katsuki's eyes lingered curiously for a moment before he looked back toward the front of the classroom.

For some reason that girl had become really weird around him ever since what had happened a couple of weeks ago, granted he did kind of come out of nowhere to save the day but he doesn't remember doing anything to cause this reaction from the girl.

For now he ignored it with his brain currently being preoccupied with the amount of work he was going to have after his class visit. Ever since he decided to become assistant faculty he's been littered with work helping out the rest of the teachers. Not only did he handle student affairs, now he was being pushed toward assisting with the first year students.

To sum it up he was busy, though the surprising part is he kind of enjoyed it. He wouldn't admit it but he was starting to like the work he was doing now. A lot has happened since the rebuild started all those months ago, hero society slowly rebuilt itself along with society in general.

He would have never thought that he would be working as faculty but here he was, showing up to a class he technically didn't need to attend.

"Bakugo!"

Kirishima yelled out while Katsuki jumped slightly before turning toward the red haired boy who sweatdropped. "You good man? You spaced out there for a while. Class is over, we'll be headed to our next one pretty soon. I just can't wait for lunch." Kirishima said while Kaminari pointed at the ash blonde.

"He's probably thinking about something like paperwork or stamping some sheets."

Kaminari said, doing an impression of Katsuki's voice, causing the other blonde to narrow his eyes at him.

"Are you trying to die?"

Katsuki asked while Kaminari laughed at the boy's threat before Kyoka stole Kaminari's seat before looking toward the explosive 3rd year. "So what's your plan after this? Are you actually going to show up to Hero Economics or are you preoccupied?" Kyoka said in a teasing tone while Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"You know I'm going to be busy. The first years are doing Aizawa's little test. I've got to be there for assistance for some reason."

Katsuki answered while Kaminari scratched his head. "So its for real? I would have never imagined that Bakugou of all people would be working with the faculty here at U.A. Crazy."

Kaminari commented while Katsuki growled at the other blonde. "The hell is that supposed to mean Dunce Face?!" Katsuki yelled while Kaminari pointed toward him. "See what I mean?" The boy said calmly while Mina skipped over inspecting Katsuki's features.

"I think he'd be the heartthrob teacher that the girls in his class would fawn over." Mina commented while Katsuki gave her a look while Sero nodded his head approvingly."I could totally see that." Sero said while Mina spun looking into Sero's eyes while pushing her bangs up and narrowing her eyes.

"I heard you've been messing around in my class, looks like I've got to discipline you… see me after class young lady…"

Mina said in a growl imitating Katsuki while Sero put his hands together kicking one of his legs up.

"Yes sensei!~"

Sero said in a high pitched voice causing the group to laugh while Katsuki growled at them.

"Cut that shit out, you disgusting pervs!"

Katsuki yelled while the group continued laughing.

"I for one am curious as to what drove his decision to become part of the faculty."

A calm voice added as they all took notice of the presence of Shoto Todoroki who had been standing there causing most of them to jump sans Katsuki and Kirishima who remained unfazed since they noticed him before.

"Yo, Brodoroki!"

Kirishima exclaimed while Katsuki huffed looking away from the other boy.

"Why does everyone care so much about my decisions? Do me a favor and get a hobby or a girlfriend, whichever one makes you worry about yourself."

Katsuki said while Kaminari slapped a fist to his hand. "I thought we were calling him Todo'bro'ki?" Kaminari said while Kirishima looked at the boy and shook his head.

"Nah man, it doesn't ring the same." Kirishima said while Shoto stepped forward sitting in Kirishima's seat.

"Worrying about my friends is my hobby." Shoto said while Katsuki looked back at the other boy. "That sounds even worse. Seriously, get a hobby." Katsuki said while Shoto just tilted his head at the other boy.

"How's Aizawa sensei doing?" Shoto asked while Katsuki looked back ahead toward the front of the classroom.

"He's alive."

Katsuki said, causing Shoto to nod his head while Kaminari looked toward Shoto.

"That's how you respond to that?"

Mina asked while Katsuki shrugged his shoulders. "He says hi." Katsuki said while Kyoka turned toward Katsuki fully, "So you seriously are done with us huh?" Kyoka asked while Katsuki noticed the look on the girl's face as he reached a hand out placing it on her head much to the surpised of the girl and the rest of the little group while Katsuki kept a calm expression.

"Quit being so damn dramatic, I'm here ain't I?"

Katsuki said while Kaminari also looked at his fellow blonde, "I mean yeah but you've dropped out of the class completely and haven't really said much since then. I'd like to think we're friends, so imagine how we felt when you were suddenly quitting." Kaminari said while Katsuki looked toward the other teen before noticing the rest of the group all had their own looks.

"You idiots are such downers, quit thinking it's your fault. I made this decision and I plan to make the most of it, it's not like I'm vanishing. Also with the new job I've been busy as all hell."

Katsuki said while his friends visably relaxed at his words while Kyoka moved her head away from Katsuki's palm, Hitoshi glared back at where the rest of the Bakusquad plus Todoroki went to see the blonde. Hitoshi stood moving toward the back of the classroom where Katsuki looked back at him.

"Zombie fuck, you look like you've had your fair share of brains today."

The boy said to Hitoshi while Mina giggled at Shoto who made a confused expression on his face.

"Bakugou, I-"

Hitoshi said while Katsuki stuck his hand up at the boy.

"Save it, if some grubby 'I'm not worthy.' Crap comes out of your mouth. I'll personally smack the taste out of it."

Katsuki said while Hitoshi just looked at the blonde before he clenched his fist. "I was coming over to say thank you, your shoes may be a little big to fill but I don't believe I'll have too many issues doing it." Hitoshi said with a confident smile while Katsuki narrowed his eyes at the boy with his own confident look.

"I'd say in your dreams but even then you couldn't get close."

Katsuki said while Hitoshi huffed at the blonde teen.

"Kacchan."

Izuku said while approaching Katsuki, the blonde looked toward him quietly while Izuku smiled at him. "How have you been?", Izuku asked while Katsuki shrugged, "I'm alright, you?" Katsuki answered calmly while Kaminari broke into a sweat.

"I forgot these two were on better terms for a minute, it's still so weird seeing them talk like this."

Kaminari whispered to Kyoka who nodded in response while watching the two boys converse calmly in front of her. "I see you and Shinsou are getting along.", Izuku said while Katsuki looked back at the green haired boy.

"Getting along are strong words, it's more like I'm ready to turn Zombie fuck over her into the Sleeping Dead" Katsuki said while the boy rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Get a load of classic Lord Dynamight."

Mina said while Katsuki shot her a glare, "Got something to say Raccoon Eyes!" Katsuki yelled while Mina laughed. "That's your nickname now! How's it feel?!", Mina yelled back while Katsuki was about to stomp after her but his phone vibrated in his pocket. Katsuki stopped to check it, noticing the time along with the message.

"I'm late. Have fun in your next class, I'm off to my torture class with Teach."

Katsuki said slinging his stuff over his shoulder before walking toward the door.

"Hey, we can visit right? I wanna see your office again!"

Kaminari yelled toward Katsuki who stuck up his middle finger at the blonde boy causing him to slump while Kirishima patted the boy on the back. Izuku looked down toward the ground before looking back up toward where Katsuki was walking following him. Izuku made his way into the hall where Katsuki kept walking ahead before the green haired boy looked at his back with determination.

"Kacchan!"

Izuku called while Katsuki stopped in his tracks with his back facing Izuku, Izuku clenched his fist before looking toward the blonde.

"Why don't you want to be a hero anymore?"

Izuku asked while Katsuki kept his back facing Izuku standing behind him before Katsuki stuck a thumbs down from behind his back.

"It ain't your fault you know… I just decided not to. That's all."

Katsuki said before he kept walking forward again leaving Izuku standing there with a guilty expression on his face.

XXXX

The sound of a whistle blew while the sun beamed down on a batch of fresh hero students standing there in attention, Aizawa paced around with his prosthetic leg and his real one looking toward the class in their gym uniforms.

"This is your quirk aptitude test, you all should try your best or else you know the consequences. Expulsion."

Aizawa said while most of the students audibly gulped at the thought of being expelled, Aizawa looked toward Katsuki who was standing there with a clipboard.

"This is Katsuki Bakugo, he's going to be my assistant for today's session. This means that at all times there will be two sets of eyes on you at all times. No funny business or you will be caught, is that understood?"

Aizawa said while the class all nodded before he blew the whistle again.

"Good, the test starts now."

Aizawa said while the students immediately scrambled toward the first event while Aizawa looked toward Katsuki.

"Now watch closely, we're about to see if they have what it takes."

Aizawa said while Katsuki huffed, "By scaring them into thinking they'll be expelled. Right?" Katsuki asked, waiting for a clever comeback from his teacher only for nothing to come from the man's mouth.

"You thought I was joking? Your class happened to be an exception due to your work ethic. If any of you slacked off, I would have done it."

Aizawa said, causing Katsuki to break a sweat while the students gathered around the starting line, a girl with her dark blue hair tied up into two tight buns on the top of her head was stretching while looking toward Katsuki and Aizawa.

"Hey, that's the winner of the Sports Festival last year isn't it? Also one of the heroes that fought that All for One guy?"

The girl asked while easily transitioning into a handstand while the other girl she was talking to had long messy black hair. She had a tired expression in her eyes while looking up toward the blonde. "Wasn't he also the guy that had to be chained up?", The girl asked in a quiet voice while the handstanding girl flipped onto her feet with grace before looking toward the other girl.

"Shizuka… he's kind of dreamy isn't he?"

The girl asked suddenly while Shizuka, the tired girl gave the other girl a weird look.

"That guy seems more unhinged to me than dreamy."

The girl said in a quiet voice while the acrobatic girl grinned widely. "The blonde hair, those red eyes, the way he looks like he hates the world. Do you think he has a girlfriend?", the girl asked while Shizuka shook her head in disbelief.

"You aren't listening to me at all are you? Also he's our senpai. He's not going to look at a first year like that."

Shizuka responded with the other girl tapped on her chin. "He likes winning right? I'll impress him by having the best score on the test! That's a great idea!", the girl said, responding to herself while Shizuka sweatdropped.

"Yeah…"

The girl responded defeated while a sudden yell caught their attention to a purple haired boy with a ponytail clapping his hands together.

"Quiet! His greatness is trying to think!"

The boy yelled out loudly causing the class to sweatdrop at the loud boy while a brown haired boy lifted his hand meekly.

"Who's his greatness?"

The boy asked as the rest of the students went silent before the light purple haired boy pointed towards himself with a thumb.

"Him is I! Taizo, the one with the gait of a king!", Taizo exclaimed loudly while the class sweatdropped at the antics of the boy standing in the middle of them. For some reason Katsuki could feel the smug aura coming off of his teacher while he rolled his eyes at the purple haired boy.

"Alright everyone, relax. Let's all do our best together to pass alright?"

A boy with hair akin to flames with its orange into red gradient, his eyes looked calm and fiery with their orange color. Definitely the type of person everyone would make into a leader.

Taizo turned his head away from the other boy in a huff while Shizuka looked away from the boy who had started laughing heartily.

"Too bright…"

Shizuka complained while they all started taking their places for the aptitude test, Aizawa grabbed his whistle and blew into it starting the first event which was the speed test. Up first was Taizo and another one of the students, Katsuki peered over at Aizawa's clipboard before the man suddenly handed it over to Katsuki surprising the blonde. Taizo clapped his hands together before touching both of his shoes on their soles before getting into a running stance.

"Your clone right there is Shen Taizo, he's originally from China but grew up here in Japan for most of his life."

Aizawa explained before the two students began running, Taizo was suddenly boosted ahead in a quick gust from the sole of his shoes before using the enhanced momentum to run to the end of the line crossing it.

"3.39 secs. His quirk is Booster, it allows him to collect and store energy in one place before moving it to another to release it. The more confident he is, the more energy he can store and release."

Aizawa said while Katsuki wrote his time down with a sweatdrop. "And he has a pretty good quirk? He sounds like a pain in the ass already."

Katsuki said while the boy laughed boisterously before Aizawa gave him a look. "Shut up.", Katsuki said, causing Aizawa to chuckle as the next couple of students stepped up toward the lines.

The boy with the flame-like hair and the girl with her hair tied into buns.

"Next up are our recommendation students, the boy is Sho Homura. His family is an old dynasty of flame heroes before the Todoroki's took their spot long ago. He's probably here to kick start their name back up."

Aizawa explained while Katsuki nodded before he spotted the girl standing next to him suddenly waving at him, he raised an eyebrow before she winked at him. "Watch closely, senpai! I'm winning just for you!", the girl yelled while facing back forward toward the goal line causing Katsuki to sweatdrop again before looking toward his teacher.

"That's Soojin Le but she prefers Miranda, she's the other recommendation student for 1-A this year. She was born in Korea but raised in the United States, she was the top of all of her classes before she was transferred to U.A directly from the US to attend her preferred hero school."

Aizawa explained while Katsuki's eyes widened before looking back at the girl. "Her Japanese almost sounds native, that's kind of crazy.", Katsuki said while Aizawa sighed, agreeing with the blonde teen.

"She's what one would consider a "Weeb." Aizawa said, causing Katsuki to sweatdrop again at the girl, winking and blowing kisses toward him.

"Is there ever going to be a normal class A?"

Katsuki asked rhetorically while Aizawa chuckled at the boy, the whistle blew but neither student moved for a moment. Miranda closed her eyes and sucked in air while Sho stretched out his arms while closing his eyes, Katsuki could feel the change in air before Miranda opened up her eyes, her pupils now in star shapes, the dust around her kicking up before Sho also opened up his eyes.

The both of them moved extremely quickly, flames following Sho and dust creating mini tornados following Miranda as they were already both over the line.

"Did I win? Did I win?"

Miranda asked while Sho looked toward the girl before scratching the back of his head with a wide smile. "What you were doing looked interesting. Hope you don't mind if I copied you, though I have to ask what's the benefit of closing your eyes?", The boy asked nonchalantly while the girl pointed toward him.

"So dust doesn't get in my eyes of course!"

The girl exclaimed with a laugh while Sho gave her a look before slamming a fist into his hand with a wide smile. "Of course! That makes perfect sense, dust in the eyes is dangerous on the battlefield after all!", the boy said before laughing heartily. Katsuki and Aizawa both looked at each other before they looked back down at their respective items.

'He reminds me of someone.'

Katsuki and Aizawa thought at the same time both forming the image of All Might laughing heartily. "Their times are 2.26 and 2.24 by the way.", Aizawa said nonchalantly while Katsuki's eyes widened slightly, "Isn't that some kind of new record?" Katsuki asked while Aizawa nodded his head.

"Yup."

Aizawa said while Katsuki rolled his eyes thinking about how Tenya blew his time out of the water back when they first started. Taizo meanwhile stomped over to the pair while narrowing his eyes.

"Don't think because you got faster times that you are both better for one second! I'm still here, his greatness!", The boy said while he was ignored by the pair of students.

"Looks like you beat me here but I'm not backing down future class rep."

Miranda said while Sho looked away bashfully before speaking. "That decision is purely up to the class, though I appreciate the thought!", Sho said before Taizo growled at the both of them.

"Don't ignore me!"

The boy yelled before Aizawa looked at Katsuki who had taken a knee.

"You ok?"

Aizawa asked with a smug look on his face before Katsuki nodded. "Yeah... I just felt like I lost some HP there.", Katsuki said before Aizawa chuckled at the down young man, the next two participants started walking up.

"Their quirks are Burn and Flow respectively, Burn allows Sho to manipulate temperature surrounding his extremities to the point of combustion usually resulting in flames. While Flow allows Miranda to channel her inner natural energy outward in multiple forms. She calls it Chi based off of the ancient martial art, it's multipurpose and highly useful."

Aizawa explained while Katsuki nodded his head, "There's always got to be prodigies huh? They sound like monsters." Katsuki noted while Aizawa nodded his head back at the blonde.

"Now you know how I feel."

Aizawa stated while Katsuki looked back up toward the students, almost doing a spit take at what he saw. One of the students, a girl with wild black hair with bored looking eyes. She looked like she was smoking with a burning paper object in her mouth, the boy next to her was a brown haired boy with glasses and light brown who was shaking like a leaf next to his peer.

"The hell are you looking at?"

The black haired girl asked the brown haired boy who waved his hand nervously.

"Nothing! I was just waving smoke out of my eyes."

The boy quickly said while the black haired girl moved the burning paper in her mouth.

"Smoke in your eyes huh? Close 'em then."

The girl said, causing the class to groan at her while Katsuki slapped a hand to his forehead before he looked at Aizawa. "You're seriously going to let that kid smoke during class?" Katsuki asked while Aizawa sighed, obviously just as done as Katsuki.

"It's a part of her quirk, it's not an actual cigarette it's a special type of paper. As for the student, her name is Kemuri Yamada. She's a bit of a wild card if you haven't noticed. She's from the countryside but no one knows where exactly, rumor has it she just suddenly appeared in the night one day and has been here ever since." Aizawa explained, causing Katsuki to raise an eyebrow.

"What about Deku Jr over there?"

Katsuki asked motioning to the brown haired boy trying to explain himself to a very uninterested Kemuri. "That is Taiki Orikami, he's from Saitama and is rather passive to say the least he's usually quiet almost to the point where he's unsociable. He's pretty average in his grades, all and all he seems like a regular kid compared to the rest." Aizawa explained while Katsuki eyed the boy before he sighed.

"This is some kind of karma against me isn't it?"

Katsuki asked out loud while Aizawa chuckled before blowing his whistle, Kemuri blew out a black smoke from her mouth swiping at it before running. She dashed leaving a trail of black smoke behind her while she ran, speeding herself up while Taiki ran as hard as he could. Though he was easily being out sped by his classmate. It was almost painful to watch, Aizawa eyed the boy carefully as he was about to press the button on his stopwatch to get the first timing.

"Woah!"

Taiki suddenly yelled out, speeding up causing Kemuri to look at the boy in surprise as they both made it over the line nearly at the same time. Katsuki and Aizawa both gave a surprised look at the sudden display while Taiki fell to the ground in a messy pile. Kemuri suddenly stood over the boy with an unreadable expression on her face while Taiki put his hands over his face.

"I don't know what happened! Please don't stomp on my face!"

The boy said while panicking before the girl pulled the rolled paper from her mouth blowing out a little smoke before she gave a tiny smirk to the boy lying on the ground in front of her.

"You're pretty fast ain't ya?"

The girl asked getting close to the boy before he flushed at the sudden closeness of the girl before she stuck the burning rolled paper into the boy's mouth causing Taiki to look at her with confusion.

"Good hustle."

The girl said while lighting another piece of paper and putting it in her mouth. The rest of the students looked toward Taiki who was still flushing as he threw the paper out of his mouth. "Wasn't that an indirect- wait a minute smoking those like that can't be good for your health!" Taiki exclaimed while Aizawa shook his head at the display before he looked toward Katsuki.

"4.11 and 5.01"

Aizawa said while Katsuki wrote down the number before peering toward the rest of the students noticing Shizuka wiping at her face. "What are their quirks?" Katsuki asked eyeing the girl while Aizawa flipped a page in a tiny notebook he had.

"Twilight gives Kemuri the ability to manipulate darkness, shadows, dark colors. As long as it's dark, however, the more physical the object the harder it is to manipulate which is why she uses the smoke from her paper. She has personally nicknamed her super move 'Dark Dimensions Vengeance.' Figures."

Aizawa explained making air quotes before he flipped the pages again.

"Origami allows Taiki to manipulate paper and fold it into whatever he wants, he cannot produce the paper and has to have some on hand to fold. That doesn't explain that sudden burst of enthusiasm he just had."

Aizawa explained while Katsuki carefully eyed the girl who looked over at the blonde before she quickly froze, Katsuki's red eyes looked as if they were tearing into her soul as she tried to look away from the boy while shivering. Shizuka walked up alongside a blonde messy haired boy with a large wrapped weapon on his back to the starting line, Katsuki raised an eyebrow at the boy while Aizawa just looked on.

"Hey."

The blonde haired boy said to Shizuka, causing her to lift her head to look toward him, the boy had a calm smile on his face while he looked toward her his blue eyes giving her a sense of relaxation before he gave her a thumbs up.

"Let's both do our best!"

The boy exclaimed quietly, almost as if he was trying to keep it between them while the girl nodded without saying a word before she went back to looking at the ground.

"The boy is Ryo Kyobo, he's from Saitama. He's an interesting character, he's pretty outgoing and oblivious to say the least. He has some muscle head tendencies but also shows some potential in the intelligence field."

Aizawa explained while Katsuki looked toward the boy. "He looks like the main protagonist from some shitty manga, what's his quirk?" Katsuki asked while Aizawa looked at Katsuki and shrugged.

"Stubbornness."

Aizawa said while Katsuki gave his teacher a strange look. "Is that some kind of body enhancement quirk?", Katsuki asked while thinking of a certain redhead while Aizawa shook his head.

"Nope, he's actually quirkless but stubbornness is all I can think of in special ability. He does carry that massive pillar thing around with him everywhere though."

Aizawa said while Katsuki gave him a wide eyed look. "Wait, how did he get into U.A without a quirk? Wasn't the school strict about that kind of thing?", Katsuki asked while Aizawa looked at the other blonde boy trying to talk to Shizuka.

"He's an unusual case, that boy you are looking at right there may be quirkless but during the entrance exam he single handedly broke the record for most rescue points in U.A history."

Aizawa said, causing Katsuki's eyes to widen before he looked at the bright haired blonde teen. "He ran into a collapsing building with several of his pickering exam peers fighting on the inside and didn't stop pulling them out until they were all safe. All 23 of them." Aizawa said while Katsuki continued to look surprised at the smiling boy noticing the black tips in his hair.

"Seriously?"

Katsuki asked while Aizawa nodded his head while he also looked toward the boy.

"I've never seen that look on Nezu's face before, originally we were going to let him try out for the principal's entertainment but when he went into action he was a whole different beast. Nezu immediately passed him after the fact."

Aizawa said while Katsuki then looked at the black haired girl next to him. "How about her?" Katsuki asked about the black haired girl who was quickly overwhelmed by the boy's curious energy while Aizawa sighed.

"Thankfully my only problem child this year."

Aizawa said while Katsuki raised an eyebrow at the man.

"Problem child? Her?"

Katsuki asked while Aizawa nodded his head at the boy. "Believe or not you are looking at the student who threatened your record for most action points in the entrance exam." Aizawa said while Katsuki looked on in interest while Aizawa nodded his head.

"What makes her a problem child is that despite her status she isn't an active participant in class. I've had my first share of enthusiastic students but she is by far the most unenthusiastic of them all, she always manages to get herself into some kind of weird situation without fail. I constantly have to keep an eye on her."

Aizawa said while Katsuki continued to look at the girl. The teacher then blew the whistle spooking Shizuka but prompting Ryo to begin running, he quickly sprinted to the end of the line with determination in his eyes as he slid.

"Yeah!"

The boy yelled out while the girl simply jogged trying to look like she was putting her best effort into running and failing miserably in Katsuki's eyes, Aizawa hit the button again.

"Their times are 5.24 and 7.57."

Aizawa said while Katsuki narrowed his eyes at the number he wrote down for Shizuka before he looked back up at the girl who had been trying to avoid the others causing Katsuki to remain suspicious.

The rest of the events until the distance event went about the same, each and every event Shizuka had scored the lowest without fail. It was almost crazy what Katsuki was watching and frustrating in a sense. They finally got to the distance event next standing in front of the field in their gym uniforms while Katsuki and Aizawa stood at the front of the class.

"This is the last part of your test, using this ball you'll be demonstrating your quirk usage on how far you can throw it. No holding back from any of you or I will be expelling you, got it?"

Aizawa said while the class sans Shizuka all agreed to the man while Katsuki kept his eye on the girl, Kemuri was the first one to step up to the plate with the ball in her hand, lightly tossing it before she pointed at the sun.

Katsuki sweatdropped while looking at the wild girl.

"That's right. Right at you."

The girl said while Aizawa and Katsuki both sweatdropped before the girl got into a baseball stance exhaling black smoke before glaring at the sun.

"PISS OFF!"

The black haired girl suddenly screamed before she launched the ball into the sky covering it in the black smoke, the ball flew through the air while Aizawa measured it glancing at Katsuki who looked away from the man. "Don't you dare.", Katsuki said while the device beeped twice.

"649 meters."

Aizawa said while Katsuki wrote the number down. Kemuri looked back toward her teachers with her eyes squeezed shut as she stuck a thumbs up. "Did I get 'em?", The girl asked while everyone sweatdropped at the girl.

"No. You were off by several billion miles." Aizawa said while the girl grinned, pumping her fist in the air.

"Serves it right, freaking sun."

The girl said while Katsuki did everything in his power to not slam his head against the ground in dumbfoundedness. "He said you missed you idiot!" Taizo yelled from the crowd while the girl looked toward the students with her eyes fully squeezed shut.

"Damn! By how much?!"

The girl yelled back while Taizo shook his head at Kemuri. "Several billion miles!" Taizo yelled while the girl deflated at his answer.

"Fuck."

She said before she looked back up furrowing her eyebrows.

"Wait a minute, which of you scum suckers called me an idiot?! Speak the truth and I'll only send you to the third circle of hell, you bastard!" Kemuri yelled while suddenly grabbing the first person in front of her warpath.

"Was it you?! You got guts!"

The girl said lifting Taiki off of the ground while the boy panicked, meanwhile Katsuki and Aizawa looked at the situation in front of them dumbfounded. "She stared directly into the sun trying to knock it out of the sky..." Katsuki summarized while Aizawa sighed again before blowing his whistle.

"Class A's am I right?"

Aizawa said while Taizo approached the next ball, grabbing it. "It is I! I'll go ahead and show you all what greatness looks like. With the ball in the hands of a king I'll make the stars its neighbors!", Taizo declared while Miranda rolled her eyes cupping her hands around her mouth.

"Just throw the ball already!" Miranda yelled while Taizo glared back at her. "Don't rush me!", The boy yelled his voice cracking causing the class to go silent before he cleared his throat looking back ahead.

"Don't rush greatness!"

The boy yelled while tapping the ball several times before looking toward the sky, throwing the ball sending it flying. Aizawa began measuring it while it was flying through the air, while Katsuki was trying not to laugh at the boy and failing miserably.

"784 meters."

Aizawa said while Katsuki raised an eyebrow at the score. "He beat my old score." Katsuki said not sure how to feel about it while Aizawa huffed.

"How was that? Amazing wasn't it?! Just another day for yours truly!"

Taizo yelled out while the class groaned at the boy, who kept laughing in triumph while Katsuki wrote the score down. He looked up toward Shizuka again while she looked around avoiding the others. Katsuki kept his eyes narrowed at her while the next student went up, Miranda threw a 740 before promptly flirting at Katsuki again while the boy sighed, writing her score down.

Taiki threw a 250 using his quirk, Sho threw a 870 causing Taizo to complain while the other boy just laughed. Ryo stepped up to the plate with a calm smile on his face, the boy grabbed a ball and looked down the field.

"Let's go!"

The boy exclaimed before he threw the ball a sudden gust came from the hand of Ryo as the ball flew from his hand, the entire class, Katsuki and Aizawa all looked at the flying ball with surprise. Aizawa measured it while Katsuki looked down at the boy who looked confused himself as the teacher looked at the device.

"540.68."

Aizawa said while the class started clamoring about what had just happened, Katsuki immediately looked toward Shizuka who had her face turned away. "You said he was quirkless right?" Katsuki said in an attempt to probe Aizawa who was about to respond to his teen assistant but was cut off by a sudden yell.

"Sensei!"

Ryo yelled out, causing the class to quiet down before he looked at Aizawa who raised an eyebrow. "I'd like to rethrow!" Ryo yelled out causing the class to collectively look confused at the boy.

"540.68 is a decent score, you don't need to try to push it."

Aizawa said while Ryo shook his head.

"I want to give it my best effort, my real effort!" Ryo yelled out while the class all looked at him with shock, while Katsuki gave the boy a touched look before he nodded his head. "Fine, try it again." Aizawa said while Ryo nodded his head, he grabbed another ball before he looked down the field again. Aizawa reset his device pointing it back at the boy.

Ryo took a breath before he threw the ball again, this time it flew through the air while the device tracked it.

"197 meters."

Aizawa said while the class looked on in shock while the boy jumped, pumping his fist into the air. "Alright!" Ryo yelled before Katsuki smirked at the boy while Taizo began laughing. "That was it? What happened earlier than? Was that just a fluke?" The boy asked while the class began murmuring to each other.

"Must have been the wind, but I'm just glad I was able to do my best. It's all I've got after all." Ryo said with a smile on his face before he walked back toward the confused crowd of students before Katsuki wrote the actual score down.

"Next up, Shizuka!"

Aizawa called, causing the black haired girl to flinch before she slowly walked up to the front of the class toward the field. Ryo gave her a thumbs up while the girl looked away from the boy standing at the front of the field. Katsuki watched as she grabbed a ball looking down the field and threw it causing the ball to fly a little before it rolled on the ground not too far away.

"57 meters."

Aizawa said while Katsuki twitched an eyebrow while the class gave her looks from behind, "You've got this!" Miranda called out while Shizuka threw another ball. They watched as it barely moved past where she threw the last one.

"68 meters"

Aizawa said while Katsuki gave the girl a confused expression, while the class looked confused too. "Can't we just move on to the next person?", Taizo asked with a bored expression on his face while the class looked toward him while he shrugged his shoulders. "It's been obvious since day one that she's had no intentions of becoming a hero. We're just wasting our time." Taizo said while the class started looking around at each other while Ryo clenched his fist watching the girl from behind.

"Shizuka, you've got one more throw then you're done."

Aizawa said while Katsuki looked at his teacher before looking back at the girl who grabbed another ball, she didn't even look as she threw it, satisfied with her results she closed her eyes only to hear a smack of a ball hitting a palm. The class looked ahead at the front with surprise as Shizuka raised an eyebrow before her eyes met with red ones almost causing her to fall over while looking at Katsuki Bakugo.

"Heh, I didn't even see him move…"

Aizawa said while Shizuka looked at her homeroom teacher and then at Katsuki who had his eyes narrowed at her. 'So fast!' Shizuka thought to herself while she looked away from Katsuki.

"What?"

The girl asked in a quiet voice while Katsuki looked at her.

"Why?"

Katsuki asked simply while the girl slowly looked back toward Katsuki. "If I throw this ball… and I get last place… I'll get expelled right?" Shizuka asked in a quiet voice while Katsuki kept his gaze on her. "Why did you try so hard for the other two then?" Katsuki asked while Shizuka looked at the older boy with widened eyes in surprise before Taizo shook his head.

"Wait! She cheated for them?!"

Taizo exclaimed while the class started murmuring to themselves while Taiki and Ryo looked off to the side. Shizuka only looked down while she fixed her glasses. "What's so good about being a hero anyway?" Shizuka asked while the class looked toward her again with confused expressions while Shizuka shook her head.

"It may be easy for a lot of people to ignore it but I can't. Heroes are part of the reason why most of Japan is destroyed, why some people aren't ever going to see their families again…"

Shizuka explained while Katsuki just stood there in front of her.

"All Might is dead, multiple heroes gave up and retired when that monster was tearing everything apart. No one decided to do anything until the last minute when they could get the most glory… in my eyes heroes are just as much monsters as All for One was."

Shizuka said while still looking down at the ground. "It's all pointless when all everyone wants to do as a hero is flaunt their cool abilities and save the day so people can like them. It's all crap. All of it." Shizuka said while the class stayed quiet before Taizo stepped up front.

"So first you cheat for others and then you bad mouth the very heroes who save everyone from evil?! How sad can you be?!" Taizo yelled while Ryo stepped in front of him with a glare.

"Taizo!"

Ryo yelled while the purple haired boy pushed past him. "Out of my way! She can't just get away with that, she's a disgrace and she knows it! Trying to drag the rest of us in that mud with her! You couldn't ever be a hero if you tried, you want to act like this, you can go and just di-" Taizo was suddenly cut off by an explosion being fired into the air, knocking a good majority of the students to the ground.

"Shut up."

Katsuki said while his palm shivered while it smoked, Shizuka looked up at Katsuki who glared toward Taizo.

"Oi Wonderboy, I'll make you into a damn constellation if you finish that thought!"

Katsuki yelled while the purple haired boy quieted down while looking off to the side before Katsuki looked back at Shizuka. "It's my fault." Katsuki said to the shocked Shizuka while Aizawa just watched the older boy as he brought his palm down.

"I'm the reason why All Might died."

Katsuki said while the girl looked back up into Katsuki's eyes while they had a somber look in them. "First I destroyed him and then I watched him die… I also let that monster destroy whatever he wanted while I couldn't do a damn thing." Katsuki admitted, while Shizuka could feel tears falling down her face, Katsuki was still looking at the girl in front of him.

"It's not your fault."

Shizuka said while Katsuki shook his head at the girl, he placed a hand on her shoulder before he looked at her with determined eyes.

"It is, but I ain't apologizing."

Katsuki said while Shizuka gave him a strange look while the rest of the class looked toward their blonde upperclassmen. "I've done a lot of things that I would consider screw ups, I haven't done anything right in the longest time… the first time I did it wasn't until I was practically gone." Katsuki said while Shizuka kept her eyes on him as he huffed confidently.

"I ain't apologizing because compared to my mountain of failures, I'm sorry doesn't mean shit. The only thing I'm going to do is keep moving forward and learning from my past… Not regretting it."

Katsuki said while Shizuka let out a sob.

"I don't know what the hell happened to you, I won't ask either because it's not my business. But if you really want to fix your past, your fuck ups, those things you will always hate yourself for. Then you don't let it happen again."

Katsuki said while Shizuka sobbed again while she took her glasses off to rub her eyes while the class watched silently. "You hate heroes? Fine, change them." Katsuki said while Shizuka looked at him while he sighed.

"Become the best damn hero you want to be, show the world what a hero means to you by being it if that's what you want to do. But don't let it just sit there and eat at you."

Katsuki said while Shizuka rubbed her eyes again.

XXXX

"Sis, do it again! Do it again!"

"I told you it tires me out, look I'm bleeding again."

"Oh, then that's OK then… hey sis you want to be a hero right?"

"Yup, I'll be the coolest hero you've ever seen!"

"I know, I believe in you sis!"

...

A young girl looked at the rubble of a half destroyed room covering a small arm that was still.

Her nose bled as she still reached out to move the rubble but to no avail her arm didn't move regardless.

XXXX

Shizuka kept wiping her face while Katsuki looked down at the girl.

"Throw the damn ball seriously this time." Katsuki said while Shizuka grabbed a ball before looking back at the rest of her class. "If someone hates you for no reason, give that motherfucker a reason." Shizuka took her glasses off before she looked toward Katsuki again.

"Do you think I can do it?"

Shizuka asked while Katsuki kept quiet for a moment before he spoke.

"Do you?"

Katsuki asked before Shizuka looked at the blonde with determination before she wound her hand back before she threw the ball, a gust of wind blew kicking up dust and causing a few of her classmates to block their eyes from the amount of pressure that came off of the throw. Aizawa measured it while smirking at the device before reading it out loud.

"1007 meters."

Aizawa said while Shizuka panted her nose and ears beginning to bleed while Taizo looked at the girl in front of him. "No way…" Taizo said while Ryo smiled at the girl. Amber eyes met red ones as Katsuki looked down at his underclassmen.

"You want to be a hero?"

Katsuki asked while Shizuka continued looking at the boy with a tear stained face with blood running down it.

"I do."

Shizuka said while Katsuki huffed smirking at her, the young man placed his hand on the top of her hair ruffling it slightly.

"Good. Then be one."

Katsuki said simply while Shizuka sniffled before sobs began to slip out of her mouth before she fell to her knees, the girl started crying while the class all began approaching her while she wiped at her face trying to wipe the blood off.

"Ayano Shizuka, Quirk: Kinesis. This quirk allows Ayano to use her mind to create forces allowing her to move objects with as much force as her mind can muster. She's a quiet girl preferring to isolate herself due to her thoughts of herself, but more than anything…"

Aizawa said to himself out loud while the class comforted the crying girl while Katsuki huffed, turning his head to hide his smile.

"She wants to be a hero."

Aizawa finished while the class had lined up for the results of the aptitude test, Katsuki stood next to his teacher while Aizawa cleared his throat. Ayano fixed her eyes and blinked her puffy eyes trying to find some relief from the slight burning sensation in them while Ryo looked over to the girl next to him.

"Hey."

The boy said while Ayano looked toward the boy before she looked away again. "You must be angry.", the girl said while Ryo shook his head at her before he gave her a look. "I know how badly you wanted to be a hero, I thought why should I take a spot from someone who not only deserves it but would be better at it. I'm sorry I tried to falsify your results." Ayano apologized before Ryo chuckled at the girl.

"You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself, you deserve this just as much. I honestly think that you'd be one of the best, don't apologize you were trying to help. Thank you, but just like you I want to be the best using my own effort."

Ryo said while Ayano gave the blonde haired boy a look. "I'm probably going to be expelled after this… I just wanted to let you know, it was really nice to meet you." Ayano said while Ryo clenched his fist before he turned toward the front about to say something but was cut off by a sudden stomp.

"I'll take her place for expulsion!"

Miranda suddenly yelled out while the class looked toward the girl, Aizawa didn't say a thing while Katsuki sweatdropped at the girl. "Shizuka must have lost a lot to get here, she was so defeated these last couple of weeks of class. This is the first time I've seen her look so determined to be here… so I'll let her stay in my stead." Miranda explained while Ayano looked at the girl with a sad look.

"Miranda…"

The black haired girl said while Sho stuck his hand up. "Self sacrifice for the sake of others to do good, Ms. Shizuka knew that before I even noticed. I was too busy trying to look good to pass the test, I'm not worthy of the title of hero like this. So take me instead." Sho explained while Miranda narrowed her eyes at the boy shaking a fist at him.

"Get your own self sacrifice moment future rep!"

Miranda yelled while Ryo quickly stuck his hand up.

"No sensei it has to be me!"

Ryo yelled out while Ayano looked at the boy in surprise while he looked down at his hand. "I'm quirkless… surrounded by all of these talented individuals. To trade myself for someone who could potentially be the next greatest hero with those abilities is worth it." Ryo explained while Miranda glared at the blonde boy causing him to flinch.

"Nah. Expel me!"

Kemuri yelled out while the class all gave the girl confused looks. "Why do you want to save Shizuka?" Miranda asked before Kemuri rubbed her chin thinking before sticking a thumbs up.

"Everyone else is doing it!"

Kemuri said confidently while the class groaned at the girl. "That reasoning is horrible!" Miranda exclaimed while Kemuri grabbed Taiki's hand holding it up. "Y-Yamada!?" The boy suddenly yelled out in surprise while she looked at the brown haired boy.

"Let's go to hell together, glasses kid."

Kemuri said while Taiki shook his hands in the air. "What do you think expulsion means!?" Taiki yelled out while Aizawa and Katsuki watched the scene in front of them play out while Katsuki slapped a hand on his forehead.

"Get over yourselves, the entire class is expelled."

Aizawa said while the class suddenly stopped bickering going completely silent before looking toward Aizawa while they collectively jaw dropped.

"HUH?!"

The class rang out in unison while Kemuri stuck her hands up."We're all going to hell together? Sounds like a packed trip." Kemuri said while the class all stared at her.

"That is what I would have said if that was the truth, no one is going to be expelled today." Aizawa said while the class jaw dropped again before Miranda pointed at her homeroom teacher. "Wait so you lied to us?" Miranda questioned while Katsuki stuck a finger upwards.

"It was a tactical misdirection. This was to make sure none of you halfassed this."

Katsuki said smoothly, causing Aizawa to roll his eyes at his student's enthusiasm.

"Oh… ok Mr. Bakugou!"

Miranda said while fawning at Katsuki while the class then just stared at her while sweatdropping at the girl.

"Remember these results, moving forward you'll all be training to become heroes. This chart shows where you are now and what you'll be surpassing moving forward. These are your bests today, they'll be your worsts tomorrow. Understood?"

Aizawa explained while the class all agreed in unison while Katsuki looked toward the group seeing himself and the others from that time period, the students all started going to lunch while Katsuki pushed around equipment cleaning up the field from the chaos of their test.

"You did that on purpose didn't you?"

Katsuki asked Aizawa who looked toward the clearing boy.

"What do you mean?"

Aizawa asked while Katsuki kept cleaning up, "You knew that girl was holding back so you had me get involved to push her to try her best." Katsuki explained while Aizawa smirked. "Congratulations, you pass." Aizawa said while Katsuki huffed at his teacher who looked toward the blonde.

"Is what I would have said if I planned that, alas I didn't. I knew she wasn't giving it her all and I was planning to give her a lecture but you beat me to the punch."

Aizawa said while Katsuki's jaw dropped at the chuckling man.

"You have a real talent for this, you know? I'm sure they'll be in good hands once I'm gone." Aizawa said while Katsuki smirked at his teacher. "It really was that huh?" Katsuki said while Aizawa chuckled.

"I knew you'd get through to her because I knew that you would understand better than anyone else. You were exactly what the class needed to give them that push." Aizawa said while Katsuki kept quiet, picking up more stuff.

"You looked like a real hero back there." Aizawa said while Katsuki stopped looking at his teacher but was interrupted by the sound of panting. Ayano stopped to catch her breath while Katsuki gave the girl a confused look.

"The hell are you doing here?"

Katsuki asked while Ayano started picking up stuff from the ground as well, causing Katsuki to raise an eyebrow. "It's rude to ignore your upperclassmen, you should be eating lunch right now. I've got this." Katsuki said while Ayano gave the boy a look before she lifted the stuff in her hands.

"I'm not going to apologize for helping you. I just wanted to do it so leave me alone."

Ayano said stubbornly only causing Katsuki to smirk.

"Whatever."

Katsuki said, picking up more stuff along with the smiling girl while Aizawa looked toward the both of them, shrugging with a smile on his face as he walked away.

"They've got this."

XXXX

After a busy day it was finally coming to an end for Katsuki who yawned while walking toward the staff room, they had their meeting today and Katsuki at this point just wanted to get it out of the way and over with. There are only so many staff that even work at U.A at this point too, Katsuki was trying to find a reason for the meeting in the first place since only 5 or 6 staff members were going to show up.

Just send an email or something.

Katsuki pushed open the door to Nezu's office while the rest of the staff looked toward him, Cementoss nodded his head at the blonde while Present Mic waved coolly. Aizawa meanwhile rolled his eye at the blonde man while Snipe looked toward Katsuki with a look of slight surprise.

"Well, I'll be damned. You're here on time." Snipe joked while Katsuki huffed at the teacher, "Whatever Eastwood, I'm on time because this ain't your class." Katsuki said while Nezu cleared his throat at the remaining staff of U.A.

"Good evening gentlemen, thank you all for taking out the time to join our meeting for today so late."

Nezu began while Katsuki sat in his seat that was strangely comfortable while Present Mic slowly nodded his head at the blonde teen referring to the chair. Katsuki could only nod back, finding it weird that the man who used to be his teacher was now one of his peers.

"If you look around yourselves you'll notice that since the conflict our numbers have been running low in regard to teachers here at U.A."

Nezu explained as Katsuki looked around noticing several empty seats, one of them once belonged to Midnight causing the boy to look back up to the front. "I've searched far and wide for those I believe would make suitable teachers for our current and future curriculums. Today you'll be meeting those new teachers!" Nezu said while the rest of the room looked around at each other, Katsuki just sighed and shrugged leaning back in his chair.

Fresh meat, well he couldn't say much considering he was only doing this for the last two weeks. The teen thought it was going to be something major like some kind of crisis or change in the school system. Guess he got curious for nothing. The door opening on the left side of the room caused the staff to look toward it while Katsuki closed his eyes.

Nothing special at all.

"How's everyone doing?!"

A familiar voice caused Katsuki's eyes to snap open as he quickly looked up at the source as he was met with a posterior.

Fucking Lemillion.

"Cause I'm peachy keen!" Mirio exclaimed while wiggling his butt at the staff all of them stone cold in the face until Present Mic cracked bursting out into laughter suddenly. "Peachy keen!" Present Mic exclaimed while laughing out loud while Aizawa just placed his hand against his forehead.

"What the fuck are you doing here Tin Tin?!"

Katsuki yelled while Mirio turned around looking at the blonde teenager, Mario hadn't changed too much except for his style of facial hair with his stable connecting to his shadow of a goatee.

"Whoa! Lord Explosion Murder God: Dynamight!?"

Mario exclaimed while he immediately dashed over, pulling the young boy into a hug.

"You've gotten so big!"

Mirio yelled while Katsuki was struggling in the hug of the frustratingly strong man, the number 5 hero and future pain in the ass Mirio Togata was now his peer, the rest of the new staff began entering the room.

So... This was where the pain in the ass would begin.

Hello all! It's Tobias.

Thank you for reading again as always, I've been going through a lot of my stories in the backlog and have been updating them so expect a lot of activity with the number of updates and stories being pumped out with as much as I can use trying to work around my busy schedule.

I've decided to do something a little different with this story because I definitely want to try new things, so this time for the pairings I'll throw the ball into your court with helping me decide who you want me to write paring wise for this one. I'll being taking out the time for this story to write more character interactions I've been wanting to write for a while so if you see something you like let me know!

I've also tried my hand at writing a brand new class 1-A that I'll be incorporating into this story with Katsuki also taking a mentorship role in this story as well, let me know what you all think of this as well I just thought it'd be fun.

Anyway rant over, feel free to comment your thoughts. Thank you again for reading and I hope to see you in the next one!
