The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.

From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

-Remnant, Anima, Mistral, Haven Academy, Grand Hall-

BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!

BAM!

KAPOW!

The sounds of gunfire and battle cries echoed across the grand hall as the fate of Haven was in the hands of its lone protectors…

Yet it was looking bleak as the more experienced and deadly invaders were putting the mismatched heroes in a bind.

BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!

BAM!

KAPOW!

As the battle continued in the background, one Nora Valkyrie, hammer in her hands, was currently protecting her leader's position, making sure he wasn't attacked as he was attempting to heal his friend, Weiss Schnee, from a fatal wound to the chest via his aura, glowing yellow as his hands connected with Weiss' white aura.

"You guys doing okay?"

"I-I think so. She's coming to…I just wish this would go faster." he said with a worried expression on his face, still looking upon the unconscious girl with fear in his eyes. 'Oh gods! Please let this work! PLEASE!'

"How about you don't complain and just be thankful you unlocked your semblance when you did." she said while keeping an eye on the battle at hand. 'Crap. This isn't looking good…and is that big meat cake attempting to punch the kid?! Ooooh! Now I want to BREAK HIS LEGS!'

"My semblance?"

"How else do you think you're healing her, dummy?" she deadpanned while Jaune stared at her in disbelief. 'Seriously! How else would you be healing her? Magic kisses or something!?'

As the boy looked upon the body of his one time crush, the camera zoomed towards a nearby window and right towards the clear moonlit skies.

Numerous stars, glowing brightly across the night sky as it had for countless millennia, its various shades of hues dotting the horizon like tiny lanterns.

Yet, in the farthest part of the atmosphere, closest to the northeastern end of the world, a bright red orb illuminated the cloudless skies like a beacon of doom as its form seemed to expand and contract every so often, in tangent with its flickering glow.

Pulsating like a beating heart, faster and faster and faster with every passing second, the star dimmed and brightened its glow before-

KAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

A massive burst of red and yellow light illuminated the entire sky, the very atmosphere glowing with luminous colors, ranging from green to right purple, in the form of a 'wave' of auroras, causing all of Mistral, from the criminals to the innocent bystanders, to stop what they were doing to watch the light show above their heads.

However, for the combatants inside Haven Academy's walls…it was business as usual.

BOOM!

POW!

BAM!

"No. I don't think I'm healing her. Our aura heals our bodies. It feels...it feels more like I'm using my aura to amplify hers!" Jaune yelled while the sounds of gunfire echoed in his eardrums, angry screams of frustration echoing just outside the academy's walls, seemingly agitated by the lack of…combat outside. 'What was that? A wild bull?'

"Wait, aren't you worried about running out?" Nora said in confusion as the rainbow colored skies continually bathed the city in 'waves' of luminous lights, not realizing that her aura was starting to become more visible to the naked eye.

Along with every single person in the area, their auras coating their bodies like loose baggy skin.

"Pyrrha once told m-"

BABUM!

Jaune's eyes began to dilate, his breathing rapid as his aura started to cover his body like armor, the veins now visible underneath his skin as he gritted his teeth in pain.

"Jaune? You ok?"

The blonde teen ignored his teammate as he started to bite his lip, drawing blood as his retinas turned a sickly gray color, not even noticing that Weiss' body was starting to twitch.

"Mmmm." Weiss groaned while slowly opening her eyes, seemingly awakening from a deep sleep, as she felt something tight against her wrists.

"Grrrr."

SQUISH!

"AH!" the Schnee cried out as she opened her eyes, only to see Jaune growling at her with an animalistic fury, his mouth covered in foam as his hands squeezed tightly on her wrists. "J-Jaune!? What are you doing!?"

CRUNCH!

"AAAAAHHH!" The girl screamed in pain as the teen ripped her arms off, bones and sinew dangling from the stumps before the former leader of Team JNPR began to tear her throat out with his fingers, causing the combatants to halt their assault in shock at the gruesome scene in front of them.

SQUISH!

CRUNCH!

"What the hell!?" Mercury yelled in disgust as Ren noticed that Yang…was twitching wildly, her eyes glowing a bright red color as blood oozed from her left palm.

'Crap!' "Ruby, get away from Yang!"

"Eh-Oh no! Yang!"

"GRRRRRRR!" She growled as she took notice of Hazel and charged towards him, her aura flaring outwards like literal flames. "ROAR!"

"This is going to hurt you more than me, Ozpin supporter." he said with a hint of remorse, knowing he's going to kill an 'innocent' pawn in the immortal's shadow war, as he thrusted both fists at the girl's direction, failing to realize in his battle crazed mentality that something was wrong in the world.

"RRROOOAAARRR!" Yang howled with fury as she took the twin punches, her body unfazed due to the massive aura boost to her body as she punched the giant in the heart.

POW!

BOOOOOOM!

SQUISH!

Metal and flesh shot across the area, the gore exiting Hazel's now exposed right peck, revealing his now missing heart and ribs along with a massive hole in the nearby wall, as the giant's eyes widened in shock.

All the while a now prosthetic-less Yang jumped on top of Hazel and bashed her forehead against his skull, breaking reinforced bone with every aura and semblance powered low, killing him instantly as Jaune raced towards the 'stature'.

CRUNCH!

And pulled the protective bronze coating off to reveal the elevator inside as he punched the floor and jumped downwards into the abyss, a trail of blood the only thing indicating his existence.

"What the hells going on!?" Qrow yelled before seeing his niece charging towards a terrified Leonardo, tackling the faunus to the ground as she pulled his lower jaw out and bashed his skull in repeatedly. "What's gotten into her!?"

"Like I know!" Nora yelled while Oscar began to back away slowly from the maddened brawler. "First the aura started glowing now….oh gods…Jaune Jaune."

Ruby groaned before puking on the ground, disgusted and terrified about the entire event, especially when her partner was murdered right in front of her.

"I think it's time to go, right now!" Emerald yelled before turning around, only to see a tower of red energy hitting one of the nearby buildings, setting it ablaze instantaneously. "Wait, oh shit!"

"What now!?" Mercury yelled while noticing Yang's glaring eyes and paled in terror. "Shit!"

"That bull faunus is going nuts out there!"

WOOOSH!

BOOOOOOM!

"RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The two mercenaries flinched in fear as another 'beam' of red energy erupted from the rightmost wall, obliterating it along with several pillars and an unfortunate Oscar, whose right arm and cane were cut in half from the curved energy 'beam'.

"AAAAHH!" the boy screamed in pain as he held the stump with his left arm, knees buckling down to the floor as the manic form of Adam Taurus, his red aura covering his body like hissing serpents while his blood stained clothes were littered with deep bullet holes that didn't seem to faze him at all, raced towards Qrow, his blade cracking from overuse.

"WOAH!" The older Huntsmen yelled before attempting to dodge the now blood covered faunus, only to be tackled from behind by Yang, whose mouth bit hard against the left side of his neck. "AAHH!"

SQUISH!

CRUNCH!

BOOOOOM!

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The sound of screams and burning tinder echoed across the city of Mistral, the cries for battle and 'liberation' a distant memory as the glow of the now multicolored sky loomed overhead, witnessing the fall of the Kingdom of Mistral itself.

(Elsewhere)

-Spring Maiden Vault Entrance-

"Vernal was a decoy the whole time." Cinder frowned as she looked away from the now deceased Vernal and right towards Raven Branwen, her eyes blazing with a red energy as she growled in frustration. "The last Spring Maiden must've trusted you a great deal before she died. I bet that was a mistake."

The now revealed Spring Maiden growled and was about to fire a Dust blade from her weapon, Omens' hilt, until-

CRUNCH!

Both turned in the direction of the vault doors, the steel and copper fused metal ripping from the middle as a pair of bloodied and mangled hands pushed them with immense strength, the glow of yellow aura the only indicator that the person in question wasn't a civilian, but a Huntsman.

CRUNCH!

"What the?"

"One of yours?" Raven asked the false Maiden with a worried look on her face, both of them taking notice of their own visible auras, her own crimson red aura covering her body like vines of energy while the Fall Maiden's aura was a patchwork of dull orange and empty space, especially near the left eye and left arm.

"No, I thought that was one of your tribe members."

"GRRRRR!" The figure growled, revealed to be Jaune Arc, his teeth broken and jagged from the consumption of bone as his fingers were mutilated beyond recognition, from the other end of the doors as he fixed his gaze towards the false Maiden's direction.

CREAK!

CRUNCH!

"Wait, it's the Arc brat!" Cinder frowned in disbelief, trying to mask her terror at the now feral Jaune as the teen rushed towards her, his aura powered legs making small cracks in the stone floor's foundation. "I have no idea what's going on but you won't get my prize!"

WOOOSSHH!

Raven narrowed her eyes at the now mindless blonde as he raced towards the Grimmified left arm without any form of self-preservation thoughts, as if he wanted to be killed. 'Why is he….wait. His aura, if it can rip steel like paper….oh shit!'

CHOMP!

SQUISH!

"AAAAH! GET OFF ME!" Cinder screamed in pain as Jaune's jaw bit down on the hand's wrist, the fingers trying to scratch at his eyes, blood dripping from his eyes sockets as black smoke emanated from the 'wound'.

"GRRRRRR!" Jaune growled as the arm attempted to retract to its normal length, only for him to quickly jerk his head back.

CRUNCH!

SQUISH!

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

And ripped the entire arm off of the false Maiden's socket, chunks of flesh and black 'flesh' twitching from the now defenseless limb as Jaune began to consume the body part, much to Raven's disgust.

'This is getting out of hand. Screw the relic, I need to get out and regroup, NOW!' she thought while quickly pulling her blade from its sheath.

SWOOSH!

ZOOOP!

And opened a portal back to her camp, running right into the red void as it closed behind her, leaving Cinder, her right arm holding the stump that was once her left arm, alone with the feral Huntsman.

'COWARD!' the false Maiden thought in terror as the blonde continued to eat the limp, the fingers danging out from his broken teeth like an insect's mandibles. 'No, I will not be killed by a mad dog like him!'

SSSISH!

Her eyes narrowed in prideful anger as Cinder's now extended right arm formed a large curved obsidian blade and with all the strength she could muster, she threw the weapon at Jaune's neck with the intent to kill him before he could eat her alive in the most literal sense.

SQUISH!

"Grrrrr!" Jaune gurgled with a confused look on his face, the blade piercing his throat and causing blood to ooze from the wound, as he turned towards Cinder with renewed aggression in his eyes. "GIIISSSSRRSSS!"

'He should be dead! I aimed for the neck, the weakest point of the human body!' the woman thought in disbelief as the teen raced towards her, white froth forming from the nearly toothless mouth. "HE SHOULD BE DEAD!"

As the blonde changed towards the woman, the camera began to move closer to his position.

CRACK!

Which caused the screen to turn dark, several thick purple cracks forming from the center as the sounds of screams echoed in the background along with a low gurgling sound.

Semblance(s): Aura Amp (Enhanced to dangerous levels due to massive amounts of gamma ray burst energy and other assorted interstellar radiation.)

Bio: In this timeline, during the Battle of Haven, a distant star, known as Grimm Hope Star, within the Remnant System, began to experience its end as a Red Sun, having been around for about half a billion years, and…experienced a Super-Luminous/Ic Supernova event which brightened the night sky and blanketed the entire system with interstellar radiation and unleashed a single gamma ray burst towards Remnant. However, this didn't end all life as the planet's unnatural abundance of Dust, aura and leftover magic shielded the ozone from the blunt of the gamma ray burst and its concoction of radioactive material…yet it didn't leave Remnant unscathed as the shockwaves from the now dead Grimm Hope Star blanketed the planet with said radioactive particles and caused a strange phenomenon to occur to the planet's population. The resulting 'blanket' of radiation caused the auras within humans and faunus to increase in quantity, filling the atmosphere with aura 'particles' and creating an overabundance of this new particle. While harmless to some humans and faunus, the 'particles' had a negative effect on the Grimm and certain beings with absorption based semblances. For the Grimm, they started to attack each other in a frenzy due to their unique 'aura' tracking organs becoming overwhelmed by the aura in the air and within their own bodies, while individuals such as Jaune Arc, Adam Taurus, Yang Xiao Long, and Gillian Asturias, gained a permanent increase in their natural abilities and semblances in exchange…for their mind to regress to a more animalistic state of madness, unable to comprehend the concepts of friend and foe and unable to hold back against their destructive rampages. With their semblances now overloaded to their maximum limit, the individuals ravaged Remnant and killed several thousand of Remnant's population, including Weiss Schnee, Hazel Rainheart, Qrow Branwen, Leonardo Lionheart, Cinder Fall, and Jax Asturias, as the Four Kingdoms suffered untold losses from this massacre. Yet, these unlucky semblance users, while powerful, lost their ability to register fear or pain, allowing their lack of safety to blind them to the actions of more experienced Huntsmen and were killed several hours after the supernova occurred. Yet…this wasn't the end as in light of this single night's events, the people of Remnant, still reeling from the terror of the Fall of Vale, decided that semblances were too dangerous and, in their minds, could turn the user into feral animals if allowed to exist…thus the Kindgoms decided to ban the Huntsmen occupation and hunt down all semblance users, either locking them up or killing them outright to prevent a Haven Massacre, and deciding to turn to more technological advances to stop the Grimm. A single explosive phenomenon in space…doomed everything, for without the Huntsmen to protect the world, the now 'insane' Grimm became much harder to combat and, in a short few years, would bring humans and faunus to their inevitable end. How ironic, the very thing that made Jaune Arc and Yang Xiao Long a cut above the rest would doom Remnant to a much faster extinction than previously achieved in the past. In a way, this remnant of a planet had run its course, just like a dying star.
