To Gift Akor, ah sorry to hear that about your email, however if it is anything like another situation I'm familiar with you can still see your private messages even though you won't get the alert saying how many you have but perhaps if you click on Private Messages and click inbox you can see what I sent you, also now that you have your own account you can make your own stories, if you want to see something specific you can make your own story all it takes is writing in Microsoft Word or similar and uploading the documents to the website, if you have any questions feel free to ask me.
Meanwhile, Leo Raph and Mikey went over to April's place and told April and Casey about Don.
"So Don called us once and told us not to find him," Leo said "It was obvious from his voice that he was scared, we talked to our contacts no one saw what happened at the junkyard so we have this request and we realize it won't be easy..." Leo sighed "...Is there anyway you could possibly get ahold of the footage that the security cameras near the junkyard would have that day?"
Meanwhile as Don and Arctica made their way through the forest, Don knew they would have to find a place to crash for the night, Don couldn't shake the feeling that it just wasn't safe to sleep on the ground, then he spotted a huge oak tree, gnarled and twisted with plenty of nooks and crannies they could wedge themselves into to sleep securly for the night.
"There..." Don said gesturing towards the tree "...We'll rest there."
As they approached the tree, Arctica said "Are you sure about this? I mean...Wolves aren't exactly arboreal animals..."
"Neither are pond terrapins." Don said as he began to climb the tree "But we're not exactly like normal animals we can do things they can't..."
As he proceeded to climb the tree he looked back to Arctica expecting her to follow but Arctica as a hint looked at her huge unweildy claws, Don realized all those razor sharp claws were good for was being weapons they were impractical for anything else, so he climbed back down to once again let her ride on his back as he climbed into the tree.
It was evening, the sun was still up as it was the middle of July, as Don and Arctica perched in the branches, Don began rustling around in his Duffel bag.
"I've got some things in my Ninja Emergency Kit to last us a few days..." Don said "...Enough rice, bean curd and tea for a few days of tight rations...However we can't exactly cook in the tree, so for that I have a different kind of Ninja Ration..."
He took out some little brown balls that Arctica's lupine nose could immediately tell smelled strongly of cinnamon."
"Hyorogan..." Don said "...Or 'Provision Balls' they were kind of like the ancient Japanese equivilent of energy bars..." He handed one to Arctica, who delicatly took it between her thumb and forefinger claws.
"Don't eat the whole thing..." Don warned "...These things have a LOT of sugar in them, they're purpose is to give you energy eat too much and you'll be too wired to sleep."
So Artica took a small bite and WOW! It really was like a ball of cinnamon and sugar, it reminded her a certain cinnamon flavored breakfast cereals.
So after that one bite she handed her ball back to Don who took her ball and his and placed them back in his Duffel presumably in seperate containers so he knew which one was which.
"So..." Don said "...About your fangs and claws...From what you've told me about your home world of Mizzer it seems like a peaceful place so I can't imagine the Humanimals being designed to be living weapons there...I mean...That only leads me to the assumption that Feral...Did something to you during your time in the lab."
"It wasn't Feral..." Arctica sighed "...It happened before I came to this world."
"Care to tell me the story?" Don asked "We've got quite a bit of time..."
"It's a long and complicated story..." Arctica said "...It will only make sense if I start at the beginning..."
