All the kids were sleeping in the cabin. Lynn was laying on her left side, Polly on her right side, Lucas was on his stomach, while Susan and Leora were laying on their backs. Later that night, a noise was heard outside the cabin. The wind was blowing hard on the cabin. Lynn woke up first, with a jolt...
Lynn: Ooh, what's that sound?!
She decided to wake everyone else up, by shaking them. Everyone woke up...
Polly: (yawning) What happened, Lynn?
Susan: (yawns as well) Is it morning?
Lynn: I heard a noise. I think it happened outside.
Leora: Is it raining outside?
Lynn checked the window, and saw that it was a clear night sky, but is also very windy outside.
Lynn: It's not raining, but it is very windy.
Lucas: The wind wasn't blowing hard when we got here.
Polly: Should we look around to find the noise?
Leora: (groans) But I wanna sleep!
Susan: (puts her hands on Leora's back) We may not get any sleep if we don't find out what's making that noise, Leora.
Leora: Oh, all right, I'll help.
Lynn: Alright, then. Me and Polly will search outside while the rest of you search inside.
Lynn and Polly got their flashlights, and walked out of the cabin, where they saw the wind blowing on the trees making noise, shadows by them, plus some squirrels climbing one of them, a few bunny rabbits hopping, and small birds flying. The two girls were both scared by what they were seeing...
Polly: What choice do we make, Lynn? Do we investigate this further, or go back in the cabin and hide?
For a moment, Lynn thought back and forth about this. Soon, she came to a decision...
Lynn: We've got to be brave, Polly! Let's go into the forest and find out if more of those noises are coming from there.
Both of them then went into the forest.
Meanwhile, inside the cabin, Susan, Lucas, and Leora were looking around. In the living room, Susan was trying to see if anything was there, Lucas was investigating the hallway, and Leora was back in the kitchen again...
Leora: Okay, I need to look around to found out what's making those noises.
She walked around slowly, until suddenly, she bumped into the wall. A cup from the table fell off, and broke. Leora yelped when she heard the cup break.
At this time, Lynn and Polly continued walking through the forest, to find out those noises outside...
Polly: What are we even looking for, Lynn?
Lynn: I don't know!
They both looked up at the sky, seeing the moon shine on a nearby tree, showing the wind blowing on the leaves, making them move.
Lynn: Wow, it's just the sound of the wind?!
Polly: That wind was really noisy!
Just then, the two girls heard another sound...
Polly: Hey, look over there! (points straight ahead)
Lynn turned to where Polly was pointing. It was a small rabbit with blue-gray fur.
Lynn: It's just a bunny rabbit. He's doesn't look so scary!
Unfortunately, Polly didn't think so. As soon as she looked at the rabbit again, she dropped her flashlight, and quickly ran back to the cabin, screaming in fear...
Lynn: (running after her) Polly, wait!
Lynn had to follow her all the way back.
Lynn and Polly made it back to the cabin, with Susan and Lucas still in the living room, and Leora just coming out of the kitchen. They explained what happened to each other...
Susan: I couldn't find anything in the living room.
Lucas: Me neither.
Leora: I heard something fall in the kitchen!
Lynn: Well, in the forest outside, Polly saw a bunny rabbit, mysteriously, and it freaked her out so much that we had to run back here!
Polly: You don't know what wild animals do at night, Lynn!
Susan: Okay, okay! I just having to wonder, who's doing all this to us?!
Lucas: Let's just look around in here together, just to be safe.
The kids all looked around together in the cabin, and asking each other questions...
Lynn: How is this stuff happening?!
Polly: I don't know!
Leora: Is somebody here with us?!
Mysterious Voice: Is somebody here with us?!
Lucas: (afraid) Wait, who said that?!
At that moment, object started moving around in the cabin. To their shock, they saw the table, all 5 chairs, and the cooler moved around to the left side, then slowly floated in mid-air. The kids were so frightened, they were shivering. Then... 3 ghosts suddenly appeared. The first one was short and thin, wearing a brown hat. The second one was a fat one, wearing a red bandanna and a black vest, and the third one was medium built, wearing a green shirt, and a blue coat. Lynn was stunned, Polly had a look of fear, and Susan, Lucas, and Polly had their mouths wide open. All 5 kids screamed 'Ghosts' and ran around the cabin. The 3 ghosts were chasing them. Lynn, Polly, and Leora ran to the left side, but Leora would trip, fall down, and then roll on the floor fast, going through them. Susan and Lucas would trample to the right. The trio would continue running downstairs, while the pair went upstairs. Then after running back and forth, then suddenly bumped into each other.
Lynn: What do we do?!
Polly: There's really ghosts in here!
Leora: Run away!
Susan: Should we run away?!
Lucas: I don't even know what's happening!
At that moment, the ghosts said 'Boo!' and tried to scare them. The kids through everything they find in the cabin at them: The furniture, the cooler, (with the vegetables coming out) even their stuff, but everything went right through them because they're ghosts. Then they tried something else: The kids would try to confuse them by making funny faces and making them laugh. However, the ghosts try to trick them by also making different funny faces themselves: one ghost was sticking his tongue out, one was imitating a walrus, and one was acting like a whale. With the ghosts distracted, the kids made a run for it. They saw the huge hole, and Polly, Susan, and Lucas ran out, but then...
Lynn: Leora, no!
Leora got to the hole before Lynn, and sure enough, she gets stuck again.
Lynn: (enraged) Oh, I can't believe this! No matter what happens, I'm going to be trapped because Leora is always going to get herself stuck!
Apparently, Leora was over 300 pounds, being so big, being so overweight that her butt was now plump. Her front half was outside while the lower half was still inside. Lynn was now going for a running start to push her out. But she ended up bouncing into Leora's butt instead.
Lynn looked behind her, and saw that the ghosts were coming closer. She became very nervous. Meanwhile, outside the cabin, Polly and Susan pulled on one arm, while Lucas pulled on the other arm. They were struggling and straining. Back inside, Lynn know had to push Leora out quickly. She backed up as far away without going near the ghosts. She then ran, then used her hands to try to push Leora out, thinking to herself, 'How is this girl always hungry?'. Lynn was pushing so hard, that her right shoulder was touching Leora's butt. Finally, just as the ghosts were about to approach her, Lynn, with all her might, finally got Leora out of the hole. Leora landed on top of Polly, Susan, and Lucas, with Lynn running out of the cabin...
