These divine politics are getting more fun, especially when Lord Krishna is involved, so here is one more such chapter.

This takes place between 'King in Black' and 'Return of the Devourer', and after the previous chapter as well.

Guest: Thanks for the idea, and it will happen much later.

Chapter 56- Punishing the sinners

The Tribunal were in a meeting with the Elders and some of the Powers That Be over the newly formed Council of Godheads.

While their existence had been pretty much a secret most of the time, Mar-Novu had his spies here and there, and the spy had found out of the existence of this Council, and formed the Powers That Be and Elders as they were his allies.

With Lord Krishna's interference and then Sun Wukong killing Jossetta Whedonasta, all of them were very terrified and concerned over the opposition they were now facing.

"They killed one of us!" Nigue ranted in anger. "They killed Jossetta! This calls for war!"

"Don't be foolish, Nigue!" Balial said to him immediately. "They all wield great power, this needs to be handled with care."

"We know just how", Adair finally said. "Let us call them here for talks of peace."

"You want peace after what they did?" Behmen scoffed in anger.

"We only said talks of peace, not peace itself", Aramis pointed out. "When they come, we will talk to them, pretend we can leave this all behind and start fresh, but we shall have the Cleaners take them out instead."

That made everyone smirk, except Sandra, who did not like this one bit, as Odin said. "Yeah, now they will get theirs for messing with us."

At the base of the Council of Godheads, Lord Vishnu exchanged looks with the rest of them after having gotten the message that the Powers That Be and Elders, with this Tribunal, wanted to talk peace.

"I'm not sure its actually peace they want", Hades told the rest of them. "We killed one of them. Even though we were right, they are all egotistical."

"And they won't like what was done to Jossetta, or us stopping them either", Persephone agreed. "So yeah, I doubt they want peace."

"It's a trick to get us there so they can try to wipe us out", Lord Shiva nodded in agreement. "They should have let it go."

"Indeed, but it seems sinners do not know when to stop", Goddess Parvati shook her head with a sigh.

"So, what do we do then?" Ulmo asked Lord Vishnu.

"I shall go", Lord Vishnu shrugged, and all knew just why. "Let us see if they want to learn this time or not."

"I doubt it, but yeah, doesn't hurt to try", Sun Wukong shrugged.

"You won't be going alone", The Dagda stood up as well. "I know you can handle them by yourself, but wouldn't hurt to have a little helping hand either, right?"

"You're not wrong", Lord Vishnu agreed with the Dagda, and now it was time for them to go.

Later

Lord Vishnu, as Lord Krishna, along with the Dagda, reached the place where the Tribunal had invited them, as Lord Krishna joined his hands. "Greetings, Tribunal, Powers That Be, and Elders."

"Greetings", Thrask spoke for all of them, as Crill gestured to seats for both of them.

Krishna and Dagda shared a look, and took their seats as Balial began the proceedings. "I think we got off on the wrong foot before, for good reasons."

"Wrong foot would be right", The Dagda nodded. "You all were manipulating your Champions and we had no choice but to put a stop to it."

Nigue was very short-tempered, and almost as crazy as Jossetta, probably crazier, and he scoffed. "It is our world! And what happens to our Champions is up to us!"

"When you become unnecessarily cruel and instead of being benevolent guides, you become malevolent manipulators, interference becomes necessary", Krishna simply said with a smile to Nigue. "Which is why I had to interfere."

The Powers That Be, Elders and Tribunal were getting concerned, as Nigue was derailing the fake negotiations too early, but they couldn't stop him now either as he yelled. "SILENCE!" He pointed at Krishna. "What we did was in the right!"

"So being cruel to your Champions, and not doing anything beyond some vague visions was right?" The Dagda asked rhetorically, before turning to the Elders. "Interfering in Leo's tests instead of letting him make his choice was right?"

Odin got angry. "That was because he-"

"One of your own Elders was responsible for his son's passing", Krishna reminded him. "So I believe it is you who do not take responsibility for what you do."

"Responsibility?" Nigue now pointed at Krishna in anger. "You are no one to talk about responsibility! We all know about the 'divine' dance of love you used to do as a child."

"If you continue to insult him, you shall be slain", The Dagda warned Nigue, as the rest shared looks of horror.

Nigue started laughing instead. "He said we shall be destroyed by some threat to the Multiverse. If he wasn't simply saying that to scare us, then I have nothing to fear from him!"

"Even if you have a limit until a certain time, Nigue", Krishna started telling him. "It is not right to misuse that limit to commit as many sins as you can. The right way to use such a limit is to do as many good deeds as you can before the end."

"Our deeds may seem wrong to you but they are right!" Nigue now stood up. "You all don't understand!"

"I believe we understand you all just fine", Krishna simply shrugged.

"Jossetta decided it all! And he is right!" Nigue started ranting once more. "True love is boring and happy couples become inefficient! So making bad things happen to people even without reason becomes necessary to make it interesting again, and make the Heroes fight once more."

"Or perhaps true love is a well-deserved happy ending that you all are unable to comprehend because you seem to hate your own Champions being happy", The Dagda said, his eyes narrowed now.

Adair tried to interfere and calm things down. "Nigue, sit down, we are here to talk of peace."

"If things happened, things happened!" Nigue was screaming now, making Krishna and Dagda share a look. "They all deserved to-"

"Have bad things happen to them for motivation, we know, say something else now", The Dagda sighed, annoyed by this whiner. If one couldn't tell before why The Powers That Be didn't get things done, now one could.

"And really, hypocrite much?" Nigue asked with a laugh. "Krishna, you were also a manipulator and sided with the Pandavas in spite of them having committed unrighteous deeds!"

"They made mistakes but realized what they did wrong, but they were all righteous people, unlike the Kauravas", Krishna raised one finger. "Besides, a path is laid for all. How they tread it is on them. The Kauravas and Karna had multiple chances to tread the path with righteousness, but they never took any chances. Just like Andrew Wells in your world who never mended his ways, unlike what he wanted everyone to believe."

"And now you are harping on Andrew again, but what to be expected from people who can't let hatred of one person go?" Nigue now asked. "They all deserved to have bad things happen to them!"

"You do not really elaborate, do you? Because you know you can't", The Dagda smirked. "Repeating something again and again does not make your point."

"You are all hypocrites and idiots!" Nigue screamed in anger. "They all need to have bad things happen to them so that they can get motivation! Its like in a story, you know? Its called good storytelling! In real life too, its like that!"

"And you wonder why no one takes you lot seriously", The Dagda sighed as Nigue was looking around in anger now.

"Oh shut up!" He screamed. "I stand by what I said! And you all are the Multiverse's most immoral and hypocritical beings for-"

"Nigue, stop!" Thrask tried to stop him. "This is not supposed to be an insulting-"

"Oh well, if they're all getting good things and are alive, I can convince them its because of me", Nigue laughed. "Then I'll make them touch my sack, so that they like what I have, and-"

Krishna stood up from his chair. "Now the limit of your sins comes to an end. And so does my patience."

Nigue's eyes widened in horror as Krishna raised the index finger of his right hand.

The Universe shook and the sky split apart as a light shone down upon Krishna's index finger, and then the Sudarshana Chakra appeared, as Nigue, Behmen, Odin, Sandra and the Tribunal all watched in utter horror.

"The limit you had, you could have used it for good by working for the welfare of your world", Krishna told Nigue calmly. "It would have made people remember you fondly. Yet, in your arrogance and stubbornness, you refused, and now you continue to reject love and kindness, like you always did. If you had stopped being a sinner when you could have and used your stubbornness for something good, you would have been a blessing to the world, and the world would have blessed you. Instead, you continue to be petty and bicker needlessly beyond reason to prove a point that cannot be proven. And now, look, your death is in front of you."

"Wh….what are you doing Vasudeva?" Behmen asked in horror. "This is injustice! I prot-"

Krishna turned to look at Behmen, who got scared and shut up, as then the Sudarshana Chakra flew from his finger towards Nigue.

Nigue was terrified as he started running from the Sudarshana Chakra, trying to escape in vain, and then jumped behind Behmen. "Please save me Behmen!"

But the sight of the Supreme Weapon coming towards him scared Behmen too so he got out of the way, the Sudarshana Chakra continuing to chase Nigue who ran around, trying to hide behind people, before he fell at Sandra's feet. "Sandra, please protect me! I am evil, I am a coward! Please protect me!"

To the shock of the Powers That Be, Elders and the Tribunal, and the satisfaction of Krishna and Dagda, Sandra exclaimed. "NO!" Now Nigue was even more horrified as Sandra told him. "You are just a criminal, who did not mend his ways even when warned again and again! You didn't just cross the limits of a guest, but also attacked the honor of those heroic women of Earth-92 with your lewd comment! Helping you is a crime, which I shall not do!"

Nigue turned to see the Sudarshana Chakra coming towards him, and getting up, bolted again, now falling at Krishna's feet with joined hands. "Vasudeva, please forgive me!"

And then, the Sudarshana Chakra chopped off his head.

"NIGUE!" Behmen cried out in horror as he saw the head of his friend fall to the ground, while the rest of the body toppled too.

The Sudarshana Chakra flew back to Lord Krishna's finger, who closed his eyes as it faded, while he looked at Nigue's head and body. "This is the end of your crimes and sins, and also your salvation from your own pain."

"VASUDEVA!" Behmen yelled in anger as he stepped forwards. "How dare you kill my friend, a guest, in such a place? You have contaminated this whole realm now!"

"No Behmen", Krishna shook his head as he raised a finger. "Firstly, the host, that is the Tribunal, did not kill the guest." He lowered his finger. "Secondly, the guest was crossing his limit in spite of repeated warnings, so before losing his life, he lost his position of a guest. Thirdly, he committed crimes for which he was punished. And fourthly, a place where a criminal finds salvation does not get contaminated. Such a place rises to a higher position, Behmen."

But now, with this action, the rest of them had an excuse to bring in the Cleaners as Adair cried out. "Cleaners!"

The Cleaners appeared as the Dagda shook his head, standing up next to Krishna. "So this was your plan all along, try to get your Cleaners to wipe us out." He looked at all of them. "Foolish higher powers, you can attempt to do so if you want."

The Cleaners tried to warp reality in an attempt to wipe out Krishna and Dagda, but the Dagda twirled his staff as the reality warp shattered, making the Cleaners stagger back. Next, they tried to crush the two but the Dagda aimed his staff forwards as they were thrown back.

They then attacked with telekinesis, but the Dagda aimed his staff as all of the objects hurled towards them shattered.

Before they could attack again, the Dagda slammed his staff hard on the ground and a powerful shockwave was emanated, ripping through all the Cleaners as in that moment, they were wiped out instead.

"NO!" Aramis cried out in horror.

"You two are going to die!" Behmen yelled, when next moment, Krishna looked at the four members of the Tribunal and Behmen, as they saw many realms and Dimensions, before they were somewhere which looked like the Tribunal realm and PTB realm combined.

They looked around to see a red wave which was destroying everything, and the Tribunal watched as their world and the Elders were all gone.

"No! This can't be!" Thrask cried, as all of them were on their knees.

Behmen then saw the red wave destroying all the other Powers That Be one by one, as well as his world, as he muttered in utter horror. "This is impossible! This is impossible!"

"All of your stubbornness has made it possible."

They all turned around to see Krishna in the sky, Space around him, while he seemed to be holding out his hand.

Looking down, they realized in horror that the whole realm, including all of them, were in his hand.

Krishna told all of them. "You all have brought this upon yourselves. Look around carefully." They did while Krishna continued. "These are the fruits of your actions, the punishment of your deception. This is the result of the crime of Wyatt's attempted murder, and Chris' death. This is the punishment brought by a mother's and father's pained hearts. A punishment by pained sisters, daughters, friends, lovers, sons. This is the punishment brought to you all by the degraded, used, dead and now resurrected Cordelia Chase's heart."

They all looked around, before Criss said. "This is all just fake, this is an illusion!"

"This is not an illusion. This is the shade of your evil actions." They looked at Krishna in horror. "You wanted war, didn't you? This is destruction you all shall get. Loss has defeated you all, yet you dream of victory? Many stubborn evil people came before all of you did, and I ended them just like this. You all are nothing, I can destroy and recreate everything. If you want, then watch."

As they looked around, they saw an asteroid exploding, before Krishna said. "Look here."

They did, Krishna raising his index finger while the planets of the Solar System spun over it, transforming into the Sudarshana Chakra, to their horror.

Then all five of them were sent falling through various realms, and then fell back onto the floor of the Tribunal realm, seeing Krishna's feet.

They looked up to see Krishna looking down at them alongside the Dagda, and backed off in horror as Behmen was muttering while pointing at those two. "All of this, this is just illusory, its illusory-" He fell down on the steps.

"Illusory is your arrogance, Behmen", Krishna gestured with his hands to the Tribunal realm. "Illusory is this realm. Truth is what you all could not realize. The truth I just showed. Only I am truth, rest is all illusory!"

"You are an illusory person!" Behmen argued. "You…..you…."

"An arrogant person only sees the truth based on size", Krishna smirked at Behmen and the rest. "So see the size now."

Suryaputra Karna Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays

Krishna grew to a giant size, a divine light emanating from him as the Sudarshana Chakra appeared on the index finger of his right hand.

The Dagda smiled at the sight as Sandra joined her hands, and the rest fell on their knees.

"We came for peace, you all did not accept it. We treated you with respect, your friend Nigue insulted us and all your Champions." All of them looked at Krishna in horror. "We gave friendship, but due to your arrogance, you did not realize the significance of the friendship. We brought love, but you all asked for destruction. So listen, now all of you will be destroyed!"

Behmen and the Tribunal were crawling back in fear as the rest were numb in terror.

"We brought the message of life, but you all chose the option of death, so you shall all have death. You all have no idea just how destructive this threat is! This is the end!"

Mahabharata 2013 Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Murari plays

Krishna turned to look at Odin, who saw a vision of the Universe being destroyed, including him. He looked at Krishna with tears, then looked down, crying.

Krishna looked at Sandra, and she saw a vision of herself urging the Charmed Ones, their husbands, father and the two babies to escape in time with the Book of Shadows, and they did via portal, before she went back to the other Elders as they were all destroyed.

She smiled at Krishna with a happy tear, glad she'd done the right thing, and joined her hands in front of him.

"What everyone saw, is the truth! It is the end, and also the beginning of something more beautiful. But all of you will remember this only when these incidents happen to all of you!"

Mahabharata 2013 Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Murari plays

Krishna's Sudarshana Chakra disappeared as he came back to normal size in front of them all, and told them. "Along with your arrogance, all of you will fall in such a way that you will never be able to rise again. Consider yourselves and Mar-Novu responsible for this fate of yours."

They were terrified to realize that the Council was aware of this alliance.

Suryaputra Karna Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays

"This is your end, and you invited it for yourselves", the Dagda told them coldly, before he and Krishna turned around, leaving the horrified Powers That Be, Elders and Tribunal behind.

Now they knew, no matter what they did, they would all be wiped out, and this was punishment for their actions.

Yeah, divine politics are fun, especially when Lord Krishna deals with morons like the Powers That Be, Elders and Tribunal.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter.
