Chapter 2: Task Force J

Class 1A stands ready near the front doors of Heights Alliance after breakfast the day following the news. Today, they would be introduced to the American students. Aizawa was standing in front of all of them with his goggles around his neck.

Izuku: Why would Mr. Aizawa need his goggles for introductions… is he expecting a fight? Just who are these students?

A knock at the door shakes Izuku from his thoughts and Aizawa answers. Amanda Waller steps in, with her students waiting outside the doors.

Amanda: Eraser Head… Or would you prefer Aizawa?

Shota: Either is fine. Principle Waller, I presume?

Amanda: You would presume correctly… Is this everyone?

Shota: It is.

He turns to his students, gesturing to the woman, who exudes a sense of power and control that almost bordered on the intimidation they would feel around serious villains.

Shota: Students, allow me to introduce Principal Amanda Waller of LEAGUE High. Former 4-Star General of the US army and the director and founder of ARGUS. You will show her the same respect that you give me and the other heroes and teachers you've come into contact with. Understood?

1A: Yes, sir!

Amanda: I will take things from here, Eraser… For those of you who are unaware, this international team up was organized by the Hero Commissions from here in Japan and back in the United States. It is a means to teach students how to properly cooperate with other heroes if and when they do work internationally. If I recall, All Might even spent time in America when he was a student to learn how different our heroics are compared to here. Your objective is simple- show the visiting students how you do hero work here in Japan and they will teach you how we do things back home. If there are no questions, I will introduce my class.

She snaps her fingers, and 7 individuals walk in, forming a line, and standing at attention. From left to right, there were 6 boys and 1 girl. They all wore grey, military-like jumpsuits with their school's insignia on the upper left sides of their uniforms. The first boy had green skin with eyes that were completely red, without irises or pupils, and no hair. His skull was much more pronounced, with a large forehead and in place of eyebrows were large, rectangular bumps that added shading over his eyes. Next to him was a blonde boy with what looked like gills peaking out from the collar of his suit. His eyes were a dark blue like the ocean. Next to him is a fairly handsome, jet-black haired boy, with brown eyes that seemed secretive. His jawline is strong, and he had an air of mystery despite standing and dressing similarly to his colleagues. On the right end of the line-up is a brunette boy with bright green, bordering on glowing, eyes. On his right hand is an odd, large green ring, the color of an emerald. Next to him is a dirty blonde-haired boy whose eyes had the tiniest hints of sparks in them. If one looked close enough, he almost looked like he was vibrating, as if standing still was a chore for him. Next to him is the only girl in the group, and 2nd tallest. Her black hair reached past her hips and her skin is slightly tanned. Despite her incredible beauty, the other students can make out a strong muscle structure on her hourglass figure. Finally, a dark-haired boy stood in the center, potentially the team's representative. He wore black framed glasses and his hair formed a curl in front of his forehead. He was the tallest of the group and boasted the broadest figure.

Amanda: Meet Task Force J. From the left end, John Jones, Arthur Currey, Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Diana Prince, Barry Allen, and Hal Jordan. You'll know their hero names soon enough. Kent is the class's representative, and his officers are Prince and Wayne. They are the best of the best my school has to offer. I expect that you all will treat each other hospitably.

The first impressions of the group were mixed. Some, such as Bakugo and Todoroki, saw the group as a challenge to their skills. Others, such as Ashido and Hagakure, were excited at the potential for new friends. Yaoyorozu had the odd reaction of blushing as her eyes cast their gaze on Wayne. Inevitably, Mineta and Kaminari's focus was on Prince… or more specifically her well-developed… assets. As for Midoryia, his curiosity was on Kent. He had a feeling, whether it be his own intuition or One for All, that this class representative was more powerful than he appeared.

Shota: They will be living in the guest dorms while they're here and will have classes alongside yours. They have the same access students here have to facilities such as the lunchroom and Power Loader's Development Studio. If you have any questions or concerns, come to me or Principal Waller… Though I pray that you'll come to me first.

Amanda: Your first class of the day will be leading Task Force J around the school and answering questions they may have. They will, of course, be joining you in All Might's class for today's combat lesson. DON'T… disappoint us.

No one knew if she meant "us" as in herself and the teachers or "us" as in herself and her students, but instead of expanding upon the subject, she and Aizawa left the students to their own devices. As soon as the door shut, Task Force J, save for Jones, visibly relaxed. Jordan and Kent even smirked and smiled respectively.

Hal: Jeez, I thought she'd never leave.

Barry: Dude, she could still be listening in!

Clark: Sorry for the… intensity of the introductions. Maybe we should start over?

He steps forward, with a hand outstretched.

Clark: Hi, I'm Clark. Clark Kent... thoug, you already knew that thanks to Ms. Waller...

He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. No one was sure how to react at first, but Midoryia took the literal first step to continue the greeting. He shows a smile of his own.

Izuku: My name is Izuku Midoryia. It's a pleasure to meet you.
