A Maiden's Betrothal

Otto Apocalypse came out of the 2nd Eruption as a changed man, and starts taking steps towards bridging the gap between Schicksal and their splinter faction: Anti-Entropy. The linchpin of his plan becomes a potential arranged marriage between Raiden Mei, the daughter of one of Anti-Entropy's most influential figures, and Adam Ferryman, the Captain of the Hyperion. AU (duh)

4. Announcement

Announcement: Uh... Surprise surprise, I'm still alive? Sorry to disappear on you like that, but real life has been a bitch over the last year (still is, to be fair). But I've recently taken the time to sit down and work on this story again. I still have the timeline and everything that I had laid out last year when I wrote the first 3 chapters of this, but I wasn't really in a good place back then and after reading through it again, I feel like the quality of the work suffered because of it.

So this is not a new chapter, but an announcement that I have posted the Prologue of a rewrite of this story under the name "A Maiden's Quandary", right here on FFN dot net. The prologue in question is actually an original chapter that is meant to tie the story a bit closer to what was advertised on the package, so it covers the moment when Otto's mindset changed during the 2nd Eruption. It also contains a bit more action than we'd likely have seen for quite a while in AMB.

I will mark this story as "Complete" from now on since I will be working on the new and "improved" version instead. It will still follow the same plot, it will still focus on the same characters.
