Fuyumi sighed as she found her brother, Natsuo, standing outside their house with a nervous smile on his face. She walked in and formed the shape of a mouth with her hand, mocking Natsuo and the excuses he made up.

"I'm sorry, Fuyumi! I was so busy helping all these patients that I haven't had the time to talk to you guys! At least I took the time to answer your phone calls, even though you could probably hear how tired I was through the tone in my voice!" Natsuo followed her inside the home with an apologetic expression painted over his face.

"I don't want to hear it. You couldn't even make it to my wedding, which was odd because I remember you saying you would be there!" Fuyumi said as she pointed at him accusingly.

"Look, I said I'm sorry! You know how the work conditions are here compared to some other countries! I was doing long shifts and the weekends since I was one out of three therapists at my office! And I can't tell you guys just how much I had to listen to everyone complain about how horrible their life is, which isn't something I should really make fun of, but it kinda hits me after a while..." Natsuo said as he averted his gaze from her eyes piercing through him at the moment.

Fuyumi stared at him for a few seconds before her frustration melted away. He wasn't lying. After he changed his major in college from being a lawyer to psychology, he pursued a career in mental health counseling and succeeded, but when he took his first step into a job, he found the demands of it crushing him like a bug. An unfortunate start to life compared to how she started, though hers wasn't too easy either.

He suffered through a lot to get where he is now, providing for his girlfriend and other bills he had to pay, so there was no reason she should be mad. Besides, he finally showed up for the first time in years, and her first reaction was to ignore his troubles.

"Sorry, that was rude of me... But maybe you should have stayed home with your girlfriend if you knew you were just going to babysit Tsurara." Fuyumi suggested while Natsuo waved his hand in the air, dismissing her kind consideration.

"It's fine. I have two weeks of vacation, so I can spend the first week however I want since my girlfriend is still working, and then I'm embarking on a tropical vacation for the second week when her week off work starts."

"Sounds wonderful! Well, I hope you like taking care of Tsurara because she isn't any different from other children. She can be the devil or angel wherever her desire leads her." Fuyumi said to scare Natsuo.

Natsuo struck a pose as he pointed a thumb to his chest with pride oozing from his body. "I can handle whatever comes my way, so go and have your fun! There's no need to worry-"

"Ah, Natsuo! You're here!" Izuku exclaimed, cutting him off. Tsurara was sleeping in his arms as he brought her downstairs to the area they were standing. "It's been forever since we met, but since you came a bit late, we have to leave now! We'll definitely catch up with each other when I get back from this special date I have with Fuyumi, alright?"

Natsuo saluted Izuku as he gently lifted Tsurara out of Izuku's grasp and into his own arms. He hugged her gently, checking repeatedly to ensure she was comfortable and in a secure position. "I have no problems with that! I can't imagine anything going wrong with this bundle of joy!"

Izuku let out a laugh as drops of sweat dribbled down the side of his head. "Wait until she wakes up, then we can judge, but in the meantime, here's a list of what she loves and hates! We don't want to make your first experience of taking care of babies horrible!"

"No problem! Now, have fun, guys! Go, shoo!" Natsuo waved his hand at them as they left the house while he took a quick glance at the list, making his eyes bulge in confusion from the number of words written on the piece of paper.

Fuyumi and Izuku made their way out while adding vocal suggestions along to the stress of the list that already contained tons of information and instructions about Tsurara's habits. Only when he closed the door did he feel some relief. It seemed like taking care of children was a hard task on its own.

As a blanket of silence settled over the atmosphere of the home, save for the sound of the heater droning in the background, he let out a sigh. He stared down at Tsurara and rocked her gently as he made his way over to the couch, where a TV was stationed in front of it. "As long as she doesn't wake up, I think I'll be fine... Yeah, I'll be fine!"

That was when Tsurara woke up from the sound of his enthusiasm echoing throughout the house. Natsuo would discover the troubles of babysitting firsthand for the next few hours.

The car ride over to a nearby frozen lake was quiet, to say the least. Izuku was sleeping with his head leaning against the window, small rattles echoing throughout the car with every bump they crossed.

Their jobs at U.A. high school and raising a baby were draining their energy from their body. It wasn't easy to find a full-time babysitter either, even though they paid a lot of money because of how finicky it was to take care of babies. Sometimes, it got so bad, they had to bring Tsurara to U.A. high school and ask All Might to look after her.

Fuyumi looked in the rearview mirror and found Untenmaru, Enji's chauffeur, with a stern look on his face as he drove them towards their destination. Actually, now that Fuyumi thought about it some more, when was he not wearing a stern, disappointed expression on his face?

He always looked serious, but his attitude couldn't be further from his looks. At least whenever she got the chance to meet him, which wasn't much, he was usually nice. But maybe it was her perspective and years of knowing him that made her warm up to his rather unctuous personality.

"Is this the area you wanted me to drop you off?" Untenmaru asked as he pulled up to a parking lot with a frozen lake to the side and stared at Izuku through the rearview mirror.

"Yes, this is perfectly fine. Thank you for taking your time to drive us here." Fuyumi said as she got out of the car to stretch from the car ride.

"It's always a pleasure to serve the Todoroki family."

Behind her, she heard Untenmaru bark something at Izuku, causing him to snap out of his peaceful sleep and stare at the chauffeur in shock. Fuyumi walked to the back of the trunk and pulled out two pairs of ice-skating boots while Izuku quickly stepped out of the car and made his over to Fuyumi.

"Did Untenmaru tell you to not keep a woman waiting or something along the lines of that?" Fuyumi asked as a smile crossed her face.

"Yeah, pretty much..." Izuku replied as he accepted his pair of ice-skating boots from Fuyumi's hand. "Though he said I should treat you like a princess... The thing is, I already do! I forgot what his personality was like since I haven't seen him in years, but I don't mind too much."

"Pah! I'll make you mind me, Midoriya! Just you watch!" Untenmaru cried out, suddenly standing right next to Izuku, scaring him.

"Um... Ignore everything I said after this." Izuku muttered under his breath as he avoided Untenmaru's gaze.

"You don't have to be so harsh on him, Untenmaru!" Fuyumi exclaimed as she laughed at their comedic reactions.

Untenmaru stared at Izuku and then back at Fuyumi. "I have to make sure he treats you with the utmost respect and that his position as the top ten heroes in this country doesn't get to his head."

"Then you don't have to worry about a thing because he already does all that," Fuyumi responded as she flashed Izuku a smile, who mirrored her action. "Anyway, I think it's time we had our fun."

She grabbed Izuku's hand and led him over to a bench, where they both sat down to change their boots out for the ice-skating ones. As she put them on, she gazed out into the open area and studied the frozen lake along with the serene environment.

Some people were outside, but they were mostly sledding down the hills with tubes or whatever equipment they had that would make them slide down the hills with minimal friction. Parents and their kids threw snowballs at each other until one of them started crying from how many times they hit him. The trees shivered in the cold as the wind swirled around them, causing snow to drift down to the ground and join their friends on the floor.

They had chosen a secluded spot for their date to avoid any interaction with the public, and it worked. They had also tinted the windows and switched the model of the car that Enji's chauffeur usually drove, so people wouldn't recognize the passengers and driver.

Untenmaru appeared beside them and stood with his arms crossed behind his back as if he was awaiting further instructions from the two before they indulged themselves.

Fuyumi pushed up her glasses to her face and let out a breath of air into the sky, watching the vapor disperse into thin air. "Untenmaru, we won't be out for long. Just enough to enjoy the frigid air before we return home to talk to Natsuo. But if it's okay with you, could you keep your eye open for any potential dangers?"

Untenmaru nodded his head as he glanced around. "That's fine by me. Enji had already relieved me of my duties for the rest of the night."

"Did he? Then no pressure on us to stay out longer, right?"

"It's no problem at all. Enjoy your date with Izuku. And you too, Izuku. I will never forget the night you, Shoto, and Bakugo saved Natsuo."

"Oh, really? That's awesome to hear! I also meant to catch up on how life is treating you after all these years while we made our way here, but I fell asleep, so forgive me, but when you drive us back to our home, I'll definitely be asking some questions!" Izuku said as he finished fitting on the pair of ice-skating boots over his feet.

Untenmaru's expression changed ever so slightly. Even if it was only for a moment, Fuyumi saw him smile before it returned to its neutral position. "Sometimes, I wonder how the busiest bodies can still have the energy to be nice, but if Endeavor had the will to improve, I guess anything's possible."

"I prefer a change in mindset, but that's a little cliché!" Izuku mentioned as he stood up and walked over to the frozen lake with the help of Untenmaru, who helped Fuyumi next.

"I agree," Untenmaru stated before returning to the bench to watch them. Endeavor tasked him to look after them, even though he was sure Izuku could handle any threats that marched their way, but he wasn't going to go back on his promise.

Fuyumi laughed as Izuku struggled to catch his balance. "It's been a while since I got to use these, but I feel like I know how to do it better than you, Izuku!"

"Wait, this was a competition between the two of us? Then I have to do better than you!" Izuku exclaimed as he suddenly lost his grip and fell on the ice, sliding around for a few seconds before coming to a stop. "Never mind... It's been a long time since I ever got to ice-skate."

Giggling at his folly, Fuyumi helped Izuku up to his feet and held his hand to guide him around the frozen lake. "This way, if we fall, we'll both fall together."

"Too late. I'm the only one who's fallen. Fallen in love with you."

Fuyumi blushed at Izuku's flirtatious comment as she held her hands that were holding him up to her face in embarrassment. "That... That was a really bad joke."

Izuku's jaw dropped to the ground as he stared at Fuyumi in disbelief. "What? Come on! I thought that was a good one!"

There were many moments when Fuyumi would get embarrassed by Izuku's lovely comments about her. And she was sure there would be many more to come.

As they continued gliding across the surface of the ice, snowflakes began raining down in the area, adding some finishing touches to the world already covered in white. If there was one thing Fuyumi wished for, she wanted every moment she spent with Izuku to last as long as possible because it was instances like these that really captured everything she wanted in a relationship with him.

It was a cheesy thing to think about, but she didn't care. One day, the world would forget the people and the memories they created, but if their lives were wisely spent and satisfying, then it was a life well lived.

Author's Note: I finished another My Hero Academia story and I couldn't be happier with how I wrapped it up! I feel like there were so many moments I could have expanded on this story to make it absolutely perfect, but I don't want to dwell on that thought for too long!

If time and my health permit, I'll probably go back to edit some of the past chapters to polish up some of the scenes! If I do that, you should see something in the Author's Note, relaying the information of an update added!

Anyway, there you have it! An Izuku X Fuyumi story finished! I should probably get around to writing more My Hero Academia stories because I think I could brew up some fun ideas and amazing ships!

Thank you for sticking around for so long! I love you lots and hope to see you in my next My Hero Academia story adventure! And stay safe throughout this winter!

With warm love from your favorite writer, Out4Lunch!
