Sailor Saturn and the 8 Mistresses

Chapter 3- Hearts get stolen
Mistress 5 waited patiently for one of the bees to stop circling the tulips and watches as it flies away to another flower far away from the one she wants. Of all of the Mistresses who either have a hankering for either energy from the drama, fear, or just plain energy that could make someone feel like they ran a whole marathon, 5 is considered oddly as the vegetarian of her family. Eating pure heart crystals is not her cup of tea, especially after almost choking on one when she attempted to do so. So she instead looks favorably on tulips, violets and orchids as her personal favorite things to munch on. She is not picky about eating other flowers if her favorites are not out in the open, but she specifically adores those three among them. Once she was certain that the coast was clear, she plucks the flower from its stems and takes a bite of the flower top, biting down on the petals and collecting the sweet nectar. The energy from the plant gives her a burst of nourishment as she happily takes one petal at a time and munches on it.
Her sisters have shown to look down on her going after something more useful to their nutrition than a taste of the pure heart crystals, but 5 couldn't be bothered with that criticism. Flowers are what she wants to go after and she will stick to that no matter how much complaining her sisters will berate her on. She rather prefers some peace and quiet. She was especially enjoying not getting after Mistress 6 and her need to cause a distraction on her big sister. 5 secretly hopes that she won't have to see her again for quite a long time. Maybe 6 would even be the first of the Mistresses out of the game if Mistress 9's host had anything to say about it. 5 hopes that Mistress 6 will be killed in the long run. She sat down on the grass while she gathers about three tulips, four violets, and five orchids in a bouquet and takes a bite out of one of each.
Mistress 3 was not to far away from 5 as she ushers one of her latest victims, a young teenage girl to her surgical table in an abandoned shed. She purposefully switched things around in the shed to make it look more like a hospital room instead of what it really was so that she can fool her prey into giving her their pure heart crystals willingly while under surgery. She had slowly put the anesthetic gas right into her victim so that the girl would fall asleep and not feel any pain. 5 decided to come close to the window watching from the shadows as 3 positions her prey on top of the table and place the girls hands to the sides while she works on her chest. 3 then uses her dark water magic to change it into a water tentacle in the shape of a hand and plunges it gently in the sleeping girls mouth, down her throat the hand stretches till it found what it was looking for. A few seconds later the water tentacle pulled itself out of the victims mouth, taking with it the pure heart crystal.
3 snaps her fingers to silently command the water tentacle to deliver the heart crystal to her and gestures for it to give her victim some extended energy to keep the body alive while under the anesthetic while she puts a spell on the crystal to extend her victims life. She purposefully does this so that she can enjoy the pure heart crystal and make sure that her victim doesn't die after long periods of time without it. Why waste the crystals life when it should be enjoyed? That was usually her thought whenever she wants to devour a human soul.
She brings the heart crystal over to her mouth, gently stuffing it inside before closing over it to taste the pure essence of the crystal. 3 moans softly in pleasure as her tongue licks the heart crystal from all sides. Once she had her fill of tasting her little snack, 3 swallows the pure heart crystal down her throat, firmly pulling the delicate object deeper into her body. A faint glow could be seen traveling down her throat and disappearing into her chest. She felt the heart crystal land in her stomach as she feels it floating around from within. Her stomach growled, satisfied over catching its meal while she caresses it with her right hand.
3 let out a small hiccup and giggled a little at the tickling sensation of the heart crystal in her stomach. "That was delicious! I've almost forgotten how tasty these crystals were!" 5 watching from the sidelines didn't really care much to see how her sisters usually catch the pure heart crystals, but at least some of them were better than watching 8 steal pure heart crystals from children, that one she couldn't stand to watch because it was disturbing.
"5! I need your help with something." Mistress 4 called over to her sister as she flew down from the sky to land in front of her younger sister. Mistress 5 calmly turns around to see what the problem was, seeing that Mistress 4 was looking frantically at the boy clothing like if she made one wrong move the clothing will bite her.
"I told you and the rest of my sisters that I don't like to be disturbed when I am having lunch." Mistress 5 said as she takes a bite from the violet flower in her bouquet. She sighs, knowing that 4 expects her to help so she wants to get this done quickly. "Alright, what is it?"
"This host body's choice of clothing is the problem!" Mistress 4 says as she searches through the clothing for any sign of girlish clothing. "It's like she thinks like a guy when she is not! Oh out of all of the host bodies I had to get, I got one that has a tomboy identity!"
Mistress 5 shrugs her shoulders while she is munching. "That's nothing to worry about. Now that you have your host body, you can make her dress up in girlish clothing however you want."
Mistress 4 nods her head in agreement. "Yes, I suppose. I will have to get rid of the boy clothing and replace them with clothing that benefits a girl. Although I am not big into revealing too much of myself, for that is just unsanitary and unbecoming of a woman of this age." Mistress 5 shrugs as 4 goes on in talking about what is more natural for a girl and what is looked down upon when girls dress up too much. 4 always seems to complain about how a girl should dress properly. However something happened during 4's talk and she suddenly lowers her head and clutching her stomach wrapping her arms around her chest as she pants in pain. 5 recognized the pain right away that Mistress 2 is stealing 4's pure heart crystals for the second time this night. 4 always acts like she has a stomachache after what 2 usually does to get the pure heart crystals. Much like 5, 2 and 4 are not able to steal pure heart crystals from regular everyday people. For some strange reason they could only steal pure heart crystals from the other Mistresses. They would wait until the other Mistresses caught the little snacks before stealing them for themselves by either kissing the Mistress through the mouth and sucking it out or through a weapon like a mirror to take it out while the Mistress was not looking. 4 is the kind of Mistress to go for the classic way of stealing pure hearts, 2 however prefers to use a weapon to steal the hearts from.
4 winces in pain as she hears her stomach growling for its new meal. "Curse you 2! I wish I had a weapon to repel against you for stealing my pure heart crystals every single time!"
5 sighs as she sees in the distance that 3 was walking out of her shed where she left her sleeping victim on the table. 4 decided to act quickly and vanishes from 5's side like the wind and reappears right behind 3, who was unaware of her sibling coming up to her. 5 didn't like the hungry look in 4's gaze, seeing that she is planning on using 3 to get her meal. Perhaps after when Mistress 7 made the mistake of shattering both the hosts of 4 and 2's pure heart crystals, they began to steal the other host bodies pure heart crystals. 4 especially thought that it would be a proper eye for an eye karma on Mistress 3 since she didn't try to stop 7 before taking over her own host body at the time. Unlike 2 who seems to not really care about the cause and effect of stealing pure hearts, 4 seems to be more protective of catching her meals, even going as far as protecting her sisters host bodies pure hearts.
Before 3 noticed her younger sister behind her, 4 slams her lips on 3's and begins to suck inside of her mouth. 5 could see in fascinated horror that the pure heart crystal 3 swallowed was being pulled back up through her throat and is heading straight for 4's mouth. Once the pure heart crystal was released from 3's mouth, 4 sucks the pure heart crystal in, closes her mouth shut and swallows the crystal whole. As if that wasn't enough 4 closes her mouth over 3's once more to steal her host body's pure heart crystal. Once the pure heart crystal exited out of 3's throat and into 4's, the Mistress of Dark Winds closes her mouth and gives one more swallow, gaining two little snacks to keep her full.
4 lets go of her sister, who felt a bit winded from the exhausting display and faints to the ground, trying to catch her breath. "I will have to keep moving 5. I don't want to rest and allow 2 to get anymore of the pure hearts I got." She flew up toward the sky and vanishes in the wind, leaving 5 to watch on the sidelines as 3 is breathing heavily. While she is flying through the air, 4 silently tries to come up with a plan on how to get rid of 2 for good.
Meanwhile Mistress 1 watches on the sidelines by one of the park benches as she eases some energy out of a couple who was running on a track. It is pretty easy for her to take the energy without her victims realizing how much she took. At least it could be hidden from plain sight. 7 and 8 on the other hand love to display their antics in public sight whether their victims are asleep or not.
1 uses her staff to teleport 7 and 8 to her presence, stopping them from either destroying another pure heart crystal or stealing too much, and crosses her arms at the pair. "Don't you girls think you have had quite enough fun with taking the pure heart crystals from the people? We need them alive when we rule the world." She scolds them for being greedy on their snacks, she mostly directed that scolding to 8 for she knows that her youngest sister is the glutton of the family.
"But there is so much tasty snacks to try out!" Mistress 8 pouts at 1, trying to get her to relent with her puppy eye look.
"I don't know what you are complaining about 1, I was just enjoying my little buffet of fear with the humans while they are watching a horror movie in the theater." Mistress 7 said dismissively with a wave of her hand. Even if she is the chaotic one of the family, 7 sometimes gets lazy on the hunt and prefers to get her dose of fear the easier way rather than work for it.
"That's the problem. You shouldn't be out in the open where the humans can try to disarm you or cause you harm. Remember we still have 9's host to contend with along with her friends." Mistress 1 states as she glares at 7, showing her that she shouldn't be messed with just by waving her staff in front of her.
"So lets go render 9's host helpless. I would like to pay Mistress 9 back for abandoning her family for her infatuation on Pharaoh 90." Mistress 8 cocks her head to the left and frowns at the thought. She didn't understand what made Pharaoh 90 that special for Mistress 9 to want to team up with a brute like him when she could have just ruled the world with her sisters by her side. Out of all of the Mistress siblings, 8 was the one who tried to watch over 9 like any big sister should and wanted to be with her every step of the way, but she was also the one who was the most brokenhearted over 9's betrayal.
"I already sent 6 to do the job, 8. In the meantime you need to learn to let go of watching over 9 like she was a lost chick who needs guidance from its mother hen. 9 chose to go after Earth with Pharaoh 90 without us in the mix, and what happened to her in the end?...she got killed for it." Mistress 1 said before she got interrupted by 7.
"Uh, are you really that eager to get rid of 6 that easily?" Mistress 7's eyes widen in surprise when she heard that her older sister is going against Mistress 9's host alone. "Shouldn't you have asked for me, or 5, or 2 to do the job instead? We know how to fight and defend ourselves while 6 has nothing up her sleeve."
"Not eager. More like..." Mistress 1 muses as she twiddles her fingers around her black star staff with a sly smile on her face. "...giving her a boost in helping her to unlock her special abilities, if she has any. Maybe her new host body will help her unlock what she is missing out on. I am not worried about 6's ditzy attitude in getting herself into trouble. She can cause a mess in keeping 9's pet busy while we feast and play with our toys."
"If 6 survives and comes back alive, will it be possible to let me go after 9's pet and her companions?" 7 asks for permission while resting her right hand on her chest. Her fingernails had some hints of blood on them. A devilish smile crosses her face at the thought. "That boy who is with them had such delectable fear." She could have a whole buffet with having him as her toy if she chose to.
Mistress 1 shakes her head. "Not this time. I can't lose some of you girls like how Mistress 9 got careless in destroying the Death Busters who worked for her. At least according to the files at the Tomoe household, the doctor was nothing but a foolish right hand man who was trying to impress my young sister personally. Its pretty pathetic and sad really that he didn't know she never cared for him at all. I have to be smarter than 9 in regards to keeping my sisters alive, at least until their usefulness runs short, and I will not let the guardian of death and rebirth get away with scaring us off."

(With Saturn and the gang)
Sailor Saturn followed the presence of Mistress 6 like it was a lure baiting a fish to come closer to the hook in order to be caught. However she is going to do it, Saturn was determined to not rise to the bait and catch 6 by surprise. Just like her gut instincts told her, she found Mistress 6 leisurely lounging on the check-out desk marveling at the sight of the jewels in the cases as she looks left and right.
"Oh, you don't mess around when you want to find me do you little sis?" Mistress 6 said, flexing her hands a bit as she sits up straight to get off of the desk. It felt pretty strange to be going up against Sailor Venus when she is possessed by an alien parasite, however Saturn knows that she needs to be cautious with the Mistresses, even if one of them doesn't seem to have any power of their own to combat against hers. "You always like to think that you are the boss when you really aren't."
"Don't you know that your sister had died by my hand 6? I obliterated her along with Pharaoh 90 when they merged themselves together." Saturn mentions, trying to see if she can spark any emotion of sympathy or anger from the parasite. According to her knowledge of Mistress 6, she never really hangs out with 9 very much because she is always on the move to keep up with any of the drama that is going on from planet to planet and galaxy to galaxy, and Mistress 9 never really cared to hang out with her either mainly because she was the annoying sister who keeps butting into things when she is not supposed to.
6 shrugs it off, almost losing her step when she tried to take one step forward. Saturn thought this was typical because 6 always was the dramatic one of the bunch. "Oh I do know that! But wouldn't it be proper to give my little sister a hello before we get down to business? I presume that you want to be rid of us once and for all right? Well, sorry to break this to you but 1 told me to stay put here and keep you busy..."
"Because out of all of us, you are the runt of the litter because you don't have any special abilities." Saturn interrupts, earning a displeased look from 6 in the process like she was offended by it and is trying to not make it look like she was hurt by it.
"Not surprising that you and the rest of my sisters will think that about me." 6 narrowed her eyes in boredom and her voice went low in disappointment. "All of you believe that I am not good enough to survive on my own in the midst of an invasion. My dramatics maybe as thick as my waist, but I have paid attention to some things every now and then when I feel like it. And to think that while I am distracting you, my sisters will be feasting on the pure heart crystals that your Sailor Scouts have protected against Pharaoh 90 and the Death Busters."
Saturn frowned at the charade, gripping her scythe tightly in her right hand. She was not going to let that alien get the better of her. "You know how all of this is going to end, right? I destroyed your sister before you and I can do it again!"
6 smirks devilishly at Saturn's statement. "Let's see if you can!"
Saturn dashes toward Mistress 6 and swings her scythe to try to slash at her chest, however 6 blocks the attack by using her jeweled bracelets to absorb the blow. 6 then swings her legs underneath her to make Saturn trip on her feet, making her fall to the ground. Before Saturn could get off of the floor, she noticed a moment too late that 6 was holding her down by sitting on top of her. 6 was about to talk to her before Tuxedo Mask flings one of his roses on her left leg, making her jump in shock and falls off Saturn.
6 whines at the interruption like a child who doesn't want to stop her game with them. "Oh come on! Why did you have to do that?! I just wanted to have some fun with my little sister!"
"Enough games Mistress 6, release Sailor Venus right now! If you don't comply, we will have to teach you a lesson." Tuxedo Mask threatens as he prepares another rose in his hand, ready to help Saturn deliver the final blow.
"Oh the drama is music to my ears!" Mistress 6 coos in delight as she struggles to stand up. "Unfortunately for you guys your Sailor Scout is not conscious to wake up from my possession. Now I shall see about collecting my own pure heart crystals with my jewels." She springs away from Tuxedo Mask and heads straight for Mini Moon to grab her chest only to get zapped from touching the little girls chest.
Mini Moon widens her eyes in shock at what happened. Never before had she seen a parasite like Mistress 6 get shocked like a lightbulb about to break from so much force of electricity. "What just happened Sailor Saturn?" She asks in awe and fear while Mistress 6 backs away.
Mistress 6 grunts in pain as she tries to keep her hands from shaking, "It seems that I cannot take out your pure heart crystals by physical force or by magic. You really don't want me to have any fun sister!"
"Sorry to disappoint you but I don't play games with you parasites. Now stay still and let me finish you off!" Saturn replies as she moves to stab her scythe into Mistress 6's chest, but the parasite blocks her attack with her jeweled bracelets, causing one of them to shatter and release the silver crystal and a pure heart crystal to go with it.
Mini Moon moves quickly to catch the silver crystal and the pure heart while Saturn was busy trying to land a hit on Mistress 6 and scurries out of the fray to deliver the items to Tuxedo Mask for safekeeping. "Good work Mini Moon!" Tuxedo Mask gives her a thumbs up. "Now that Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal is back with us, we should come up with a plan on how to snap Sailor Moon out of the alien's control. But first we need to help Saturn in dealing with Mistress 6." Mini Moon kind of felt relieved at the thought that they are one step closer in saving Sailor Moon from the Mistresses, but the bigger trick would be where to find her. She will have to ask Saturn on where she thinks Sailor Moon might be later on.
In the scuffle of a fight between Sailor Saturn with Mistress 6, one of the cupboards filled with diamond, ruby and emerald necklaces and earrings got shaken from their perch and the whole furniture piece fell on top of Mistress 6, just about crushing her underneath it whereas Saturn managed to get away from the crash before it happened by rolling away from the rubble. She hoped that Sailor Venus will be alright as soon as she gets her back to normal from the alien possession, but as soon as she lifts up what remained of the cupboard, she sees Mistress 6 still in good condition as she unwraps herself from her ribbons she cocooned herself with to cushion the impact of the crash.
Mistress 6 pants dramatically as she takes her ribbons and examines her jeweled bracelets, seeing one of them has lost the silver crystal and the pure heart with it. "It could have been better, but we haven't fought like that in ages little sister! But I think we should take a break and finish our fight at another time. Bye bye!" She waves to Saturn with a smile on her face as the ribbons spin around her in a circle.
"I'm not done with you yet!" Saturn said as she summons a purple beam from her scythe to blast Mistress 6 to the wall, only to miss her by a second as the ribbons made Mistress 6 vanish from the jewelry building. Saturn grits her teeth in anger as she vows to not let Mistress 6 get away from her again. Meanwhile Tuxedo Mask and Mini Moon wonder whether they should try their luck on one of the other Mistresses in order to help Saturn deal with the problem at hand.
They are not aware that another Mistress was watching them in the distance who was trying to find some good women clothes in one of the abandoned stores next to the jewelry building. She could sense that Mistress 9's host was in the building next to her and she felt the commotion going on next to her that she got curious and ventured out to watch what was going on at a safe distance in the shadows. She wondered if by chance she can use the boy and the two girls to destroy Mistress 2 for her and help her have her meals in peace.
