Hey, hey!
This chapter is cute in my opinion. It'll have that Naruhina and a little bit of SasukexSakura.
Naruto wasn't a fan of studying. Gosh if he knew he'd have to study while in this program he probably would have opted out. Not really, but still. This sucked.
He was sitting at his small, new table set in his apartment. Him and Hinata went out to the market and picked out a new one. He used to think everything was expensive. Maybe because he wasn't really a shopper. Hinata taught him to shop around and to take your time.
It also helped that no one was going to over price a Hyuga. Even if it was Hinata.
It wasn't a big family table. No. His apartment was way too small for that. It was a nice size table that could fit four people comfortably. It didn't wobble or was stained horribly like his old dumpster table. Plus the chairs were super comfortable. With cushions and everything.
Naruto was able to study at this table comfortably. When he grew tired of the table he could migrate to the couch. Another new addition that Hinata helped him acquire. This couch was used. However, when you shop around at the right thrift stores Naruto learned you'll get that 'Holy crap!' moment and find a steal. Two couches and a recliner for the same amount his table was!
The couch was just donated to the thrift store from an estate that was trying to free up some space. Hinata told Naruto to catch the steals he had to get up and at the stores very early on Saturdays. If he would have known this to begin with his apartment would have been decked out all long time ago.
He was good at saving money. So it wouldn't have been hard to buy these items.
Hinata opened his eyes to so much. Things that sometimes Naruto felt like an adult when he was younger should have educated him on, but better late than never!
Hinata helped him and Naruto helped her. They went together well.
Naruto's apartment had more of a…feminine touch now. Kakashi would stop buy with fruit and vegetables and would be surprised to see some already in a basket sitting on his counter. Fresh. He never saw any old or rotting. Kakashi even saw the choices of fruit and veggies change up each time he'd stop by, so he knew Naruto was eating it.
At one point Kakashi saw Naruto eating sliced cucumbers with salt and pepper to it. To say he was flabbergasted would be putting it simple.
Basic candles in Naruto's apartment, that he kept in case the power went out or when he didn't want bright lights, turned into scented candles, that he kept burning frequently. His bedroom, that was littered with clothing and an unmade bed, now had a laundry basket that Naruto took to get cleaned regularly.
He even took the initiative without Hinata and got a new bet set. Queen size worked so much better for them.
He now had a rug near his bed. So when Hinata got up and out the bed her feet was welcomed with a fuzzy orange rug that always put a smile on her face.
The last touch that Shikamaru officially would rag Naruto on that he was now a part of the whipped club, was the 'Welcome' mat at his apartment door. Along with the giant color coordinated reef hanging on the outside of his front door.
Naruto wasn't the type of man to deny it. He would often blush bashfully and laugh it off, but in reality…so what.
So what, if he likes his apartment to smell like vanilla cinnamon now. So what, if he likes the new eucalyptus shampoo and deep conditioner Hinata got for him for his hair. Which Ino complimented and said he smelled nice. So what, that now, NOW he likes the finer things in life.
Home dinners. Clean home. Someone he could talk to death. Someone he could cuddle with non-stop. Hinata was amazing and these four months that he's been in the program, she's been a rock for him.
Gosh he loved her.
At the moment while Naruto was sitting at the table studying. He had a blueberry-vanilla candle lit beside him along with some peppermint tea to sip and relax with. He should be studying at the moment, but he was too busy watching Hinata busying herself to get dressed.
"You know. It's not too late for you to change your mind and come with me Naruto."
Hinata called out to him, as loud as she could with her soft voice, when she slipped in his bedroom to grab her earrings.
Man. Hinata was getting dressed-dressed. She wanted to look nice for Sakura and her party she was throwing. Naruto had to stop the negative thoughts flooding in his head at the party theme, "I can say the same Hinata. It's not too late for you to change your mind and stay here with me."
Hinata walked out his bedroom and Naruto wanted her so badly to just stay with him. Her sundress was simple, yet perfect. It was a canary yellow. Very different for Hinata. It went just below her knees and had a white bow wrap around her waist, tugging it slightly, and settled to the side. She had white pearl earrings and a pearl necklace, that she said Neji gifted her last year for her birthday, so Naruto knew it was beyond expensive. Especially when she didn't want to tell him what jewelry story Neji went to.
On one side she had her hair clipped to the back with this white and yellow hair clip. It looked a little old, but Naruto knew it was a hair clip from a jewelry box Hinata said was once her mothers. It was a box of jewelry and hair accessories that Hinata held very close to her heart and Naruto couldn't help but smile every time he saw her wear something from it.
"Naruto. Sakura invited you as well. Being that you are a very important part of her and Sasuke's life."
Naruto's nostrils flared, but he stopped himself from rolling his eyes. Not at Hinata. Just…this stupid party. "It's not like it's an engagement party or anything like that. Their just officially telling everyone they're a couple now and moving in together. We're supposed to go celebrate them moving in together? Like…what?"
Yeah he rather stay home than do that. The utter fact that Sakura was dragging Sasuke along to do this was enough evidence that Sasuke had gotten just as whipped in an even shorter time span than him.
Naruto exhaled a deep breath and ran his hands through his hair. He was comfortably in his lounging shorts and a simple white shirt and didn't want to change. "I mean. Don't get me wrong. I'm super happy for Sasuke and Sakura. Me and Kakashi-sensei had been working behind the scenes to get the two to spend more time together. When Sasuke FINALLY made the moves on Sakura it was a great silent celebration. Sakura loves the guy. Head over heels for him and can bring out the best in him. It's just…"
Hinata looked at Naruto intently. She has been very observant at how Naruto was a bit distant from his teammates lately. She understood he didn't want to tell them about Anbu and the program. How he wanted to keep it a surprise for them. So she has kept it from Sakura like Naruto asked.
However, it was odd that with Naruto's compassionate and friendly personality, that he would isolate from his precious people. "You can tell me. If something is bothering you, you can tell me Naruto."
Naruto looked apprehensive. Like he wanted to close up at that moment. Hinata wouldn't let him do such a thing. They were a team and whatever was his problem was now hers. He did the same for her. She wanted him to let her be there for him.
Naruto watched as Hinata took a deep breath. She walked to him with a determined look and Naruto couldn't help but to give her a challenging raised eyebrow. He watched as Hinata made it to him and threw one of her legs over his lap and straddled him while he sat in the chair.
His eyes were fixed on her. Everything he previously was thinking flew out the window when Hinata started to cup his cheeks so he could look at her. The two looked at one another as Hinata lightly ghosted her lips over his.
She was willing to do things out her comfort zone. Just for him. Just knowing she did this for him made his heart crave her touch more and more.
"Tell me Naruto-kun. What is wrong? Please. Do not hold things back from me."
Naruto stared into her hypnotizing gaze and tried to lean his lips into hers. Hinata pulled back just slightly enough so he couldn't have it his way. This made him smile, "Hinata. Kiss me."
She wanted to. She really, really did. However, she wanted him to submit to her too. Like she does him. "Tell me first."
Naruto gave her a wicked smile. Well, well. The art of seduction was something Hinata was getting better at he would like to admit. His smile went away just as quick as it appeared. He knew Hinata was pushing her limits. He didn't want her to push herself too much. Just to get him to cooperate.
Naruto sat up slighting and Hinata did too. Her hands slid down to rest on his chest as she waited patiently for him to speak. "It's just…I don't really want to be reminded of something I can't have Hinata. I don't want to be reminded that once again, for people like Sasuke and Sakura, things can go smoothly and easy. Sasuke can come back, do his little punishment, and have the woman he wants and live how he wants."
He could see the hurt in Hinata's eyes. She knew that her family was a prime reason for things not running smoothly. Naruto was trying. He really, really was. He was trying to change his image. He was trying to get the Hyuga's to see he was the right choice for Hinata.
He was trying and they just wouldn't budge.
It was like no one could stop seeing him as, 'the demon', 'brat', 'a menace to society'. All these things that people in the village label him as, was what they created out of him.
What was he supposed to do? Let them treat him like shit? Not try to fend for himself? Not try to eat and live? They made him that bratty, shitty kid. Now they shun him for things he couldn't control.
In Hinata's family case. They want nothing more than to get Hinata to submit to them so they can ship her off to the highest bidder. Naruto knew Hinata's family didn't really care about her. He's visited her on occasion and could see the cold stares from them towards her. Those stares were very much similar to the stares the villagers would give him.
Hinata's family genuinely didn't want her to be happy. That's why they repeatedly refused his request to court her. If Hinata opposed their request she could say goodbye to her honor and whatever aid she could have been to the branch family.
"I get jealousy is an ugly trait Hinata. I don't want to ruin Sakura's moment by being fake and jealous. Ya know? I want us to be open about our relationship. I want us to celebrate our birthdays together with our friends and family. I want them…I want them to acknowledge you as mine Hinata. None of this is your fault. I know it'll be a long road to get to where we want."
Naruto took Hinata's hands and kissed them, "Don't blame yourself because I know you will. It's not your fault. It's theirs. They won't push me away. I hope you know that Hinata. As for Sasuke and Sakura. I just need some time. Time apart from them. Letting them live their lives and me living mine. Okay?"
Hinata looked up at Naruto with what he would deem the cutest pout ever. Accepting the fact that Naruto wasn't going to go to the dinner party at Sakura and Sasuke's new apartment. "I love you Naruto-kun."
Naruto smiled at Hinata and let out an airy laugh, "I love you too Hinata! Now will you kiss me?"
Naruto cupped Hinata's neck and pulled her closer to him. The two traced one another lips and giggled between each other at who was going to give in first. This time it was Hinata. Naruto smiled as she stuck her tongue out and licked against his lips. She tasted like the cinnamon rolls she was eating earlier.
Naruto attacked her wet appendage and swallowed it. One of his hands traveled from her neck to the back of her head as he pulled her closer into him. He let her tongue invade his mouth. Explore to see if there was anything new she didn't yet know of.
Hinata let out an airy moan. She felt Naruto's hand travel from her neck to under her sundress. She was very sensitive to touch. Very sensitive to anything Naruto did to her.
Just when Naruto was sure he worked Hinata over enough to be late or possibly skip this fancy dinner party, there was a knock on his apartment door. Naruto gripped the nape of Hinata's hair, just fucking great.
"T-t-that is I-Ino." Hinata huffed and puffed as she grinded against Naruto and basked in the feeling of him massaging her buttocks. He looked at her with this mischievous grin, "Do you really want to go? Do you really want to-"
Naruto heard the door first and then seconds later Hinata. His door knob was turning.
Hinata immediately covered her face with her hands and buried herself on Naruto's shoulder. Within seconds Naruto was able to properly fix Hinata's dress and sit up in the chair in a somewhat decent manner.
The front door opened and Shikamaru walked in first with Ino behind him. Naruto completely forgot he gave Shikamaru a spare key, but he was expecting just Ino like Hinata said. "Hey! What the hell Shikamaru! That spare key is for emergencies!"
Shikamaru and Ino took in the scene in front of them and Shikamaru held his laughter in to himself. "This is an emergency."
Naruto glared at him, "What…is the emergency Shikamaru. Don't you dare say anything about this party either."
Naruto could see Shikamaru struggle with holding off the smile and keeping a serious face, "Is that not…an emergency."
Shikamaru couldn't hold it in any longer and started to quake with laughter. Naruto himself broke out in a big smile as he tried to hold off laughing, "You. You are such a dick." He looked to his side at Hinata, who was still hiding from the world. He leaned over to her ear and whispered, "I'm sorry. I gave Shikamaru a spare key a while ago. I didn't know he was going to the party. Don't be embarrassed."
He felt her take another deep breath to get her nerves and sit up from her hiding space. Her face was beet red and Naruto hadn't seen her look so nervous since they were children. Hinata looked at him before a smile graced her face to show him she wasn't upset. Just a little embarrassed.
Ino walked over to the table beside Hinata and held her hand out for Hinata to take. The young Hyuga looked at her precious friend and accepted the offer and got up from Naruto's lap. "Lady Hinata. We must get going or we'll be late to this grand ball of the soon to be Uchiha family."
Hinata giggled at Ino's dramatics, "Yes Lady Nara. We do not want to keep Sakura waiting. You know how she gets with being on time. Shikamaru, will you be joining us?"
Shikamaru rolled his eyes at the two females behaving like children playing pretend, "Nah. Naruto said he wasn't going and was going to study. So I figured I'd come by and help you study. With all this fancy stuff in your apartment now I'm sure once Hinata left you'd get distracted and wouldn't study."
Shikamaru looked down at the table and saw the scented lit candle and the tea. Pfft. Naruto was practically a new man.
Naruto gave Shikamaru a dirty look for a moment before he realized Shikamaru just wanted to help him and also avoid a large crowd that would be the party. Shikamaru looked at some of the study material on the table and didn't seem fazed at the least. "Same study material Ino had to study. I helped her. Shouldn't be hard to study with me helping."
Naruto's smile brightened at that. He could always count on Shikamaru as a friend. A best friend.
"Couldn't get Naruto to come huh? What a jerk I swear!"
Sakura pouted as Hinata took a gift from another guest and placed it on the 'gift' table in Sakura's living room. Ino was arranging the table and remained quiet. She just listened to her two friends talk about their significant others.
Hinata gave Sakura this apologetic look, "I'm sorry Sakura. I really am. I've been trying for days, but Naruto is very dedicated to his training and finding himself right now. He wants to be as strong as possible for the upcoming Akatsuki and further threats."
Sakura understood to a certain extent, "Yes. I get that Hinata. Perfectly understandable, but Naruto is going out his way to not be around me if we are being specific. I've seen him around Sasuke, Kakashi-sensei and others on his off time. He used to come to the hospital to chit chat with me. Now I rarely see him and if I do he makes it short."
Sakura looked hurt by this. What was up with him, "Is he mad at me?"
Hinata blinked at the question and looked at Ino for a moment. Said blond was looking back at Hinata equally curious. This was odd for Naruto to do. Hinata looked back at Sakura a little lost on how to answer.
"I'm sorry for taking so long to answer. It's just…I'm shocked you would think Naruto was angry at you. I honestly do not think he's upset with you. He's just very focused right now."
Sakura puffed her cheeks at Hinata, "I feel like maybe since he's not used to being in a relationship and being loved the way you love him Hinata, maybe he's a bit…possessive of you and just wants to be around you."
Hinata's mouth hung open. Meanwhile Ino shrugged her shoulders like she was agreeing with Sakura, "Makes since. He's in LOVE Sakura. Of course he is possessive of Hinata. Now that I think about it. All those hickie's that were on Hinata back then were more than likely from Naruto as his way to show Hinata was his. He loves her. He's in the puppy dog phase where Hinata is his absolute world…I'm sure you can relate to him."
Sakura sent Ino a sharp gaze. Leave it to Ino to leave a jab at the end of whatever she had to say. "Horrible way to end it Ino. Still you make a good point. Naruto is just a lover boy right now. Sometimes I can't get out my mind how flirtatious he was with females in the past though."
Ino rolled her eyes at Sakura, "Let it go. He's not your boyfriend-"
Sakura sent Ino another sharp stare, "BUT HINATA is my best friend and I want what's best for her now and forever. So, if that means I even have to be harsh on someone I see as a brother, I will. Just because she's dating Naruto, doesn't mean I should lay back on making sure she's treated like the princess that she is. So, fuck off Pig."
Hinata was beet red in the face at the moment. People were starting to stare. Where was Sasuke? Why wasn't he here to mellow out Sakura. Hinata hated when Ino and Sakura fought.
"Please. Ino. I understand and greatly appreciate where Sakura is coming from. Please do not get upset with her. We are all friends. Let's not argue over something as silly as Naruto not coming."
Finally Hinata caught sight of Sasuke approaching Sakura and standing beside her, "It's not a big deal. Naruto told me he wasn't coming and wanted me to tell you he said congratulations for us."
Sakura didn't really want to let the matter go. She was genuinely upset about this, "Naruto is family though. He should be here."
Sasuke placed a hand on Sakura's shoulder, "Yes. He's family and we will have many other moments in life for him to be here with us to celebrate."
Sakura blushed at this. She looked off to the side before slowly nodding her head in agreeance with Sasuke. Ino gave Sakura a grin in which the cherry blossom rolled her eyes at her. Hinata smiled brightly at the scene. Sakura was happy. She deserved to be happy. Moments like these, where Hinata could see her friends in utter bliss made her heart swell.
Even though she couldn't have such happiness. She was happy they could.
Happiness that they could broadcast and share, and not keep under wraps. Seeing Sakura's parents smile and just be truly happy for their daughter. Them welcoming Sasuke in their family even though he has a dark past.
Hinata snapped out of her thoughts when she felt Sakura nudge her. The emerald eyed beauty smiled at Hinata with an encouraging smile, "It's going to be okay Hinata. It's going to work out. I promise."
Ino watched Sakura and Hinata. A frown marking up her face. Sakura just had no idea.
As Sakura and Sasuke's gathering went on. Hinata and Ino busied themselves with making sure everything was perfect and went smoothly for their beloved friend. It was only fair because Sakura would have done the same if they were having an event for themselves.
Hinata was silently cleaning up after some guest so there wouldn't be a big mess after everyone left, "Thank you for coming."
Hinata stopped what she was doing and looked at Sasuke as he picked up little bits of trash here and there and placed it in the trash bag Hinata was holding. She gave him a tight smile. Still feeling awkward around him. "Sakura is a very good friend. Anything for her."
Her and Sasuke remained silent for a little while longer. The two just cleaning silently. They were both naturally quiet people, so it was natural for them to go about an extended period of time in silence.
Their counterparts were different. Sakura and Naruto would have to strike up some type of conversation if it was quiet too long.
Sasuke was the first to speak, "How is Naruto? I have not seen him in a few days."
Again Hinata fixed him with a tight smile, "He is fine. Thank you for asking Uchiha-san."
Sasuke arched a brow at her. Oh, she very much did not like him.
She short answered him and spoke to him in a manner that showed she didn't want to get to know him. In a respectable way that only Hyuga's can do. This was the girl Naruto was head over heels for and Sasuke knew little to nothing about her. Other than her being a Hyuga which was obvious. By her features and attitude.
He knew that she could be malicious. That she could surprise him again and leave another permanent scar on him if his guard was down long enough. Maybe that was why Naruto liked her. She wasn't a show boat, but she could get the job done. She didn't broadcast their relationship, but the love she gave Naruto privately was great.
Sasuke frowned to himself. That wasn't Naruto's way though.
Naruto was a show boat. With a catch like this Hyuga girl, knowing Naruto, he'd want to show her off to the world. It was weird Sasuke had to admit. How even Sakura didn't know when this relationship flourished between Naruto and this Hyuga. How Naruto wasn't willing to share it with her and got it so Sakura's best friend wouldn't disclose it either.
Sasuke started pondering. What exactly had been going on while he was gone?
Naruto was the same. Yet he was different as well. Sasuke guessed he could chuck it up to maturity. Naruto still joked and laughed at the simplest things, but Naruto could also make some cruel dark jokes that Sasuke started to catch. It was like Naruto was starting to see the world and wasn't happy with it.
Where did this Hyuga girl fall in line with it all though?
At the end of the party, after Ino and Hinata were done helping clean up and bid Sakura their farewell. It was finally just Sakura and Sasuke in their new apartment together. The two finally able to experience life together in this fast paced world.
It was rare that Sasuke really thought about it, but he was truly blessed. He was a lucky, lucky person. It wasn't every day that someone could say that someone loved them even when they were horrible to that person. When they rejected that person. Tried everything they could to hurt that person. Just for that person to hang with them in their darkest times and still love them. Show him how to love himself and others again.
Sasuke was truly lucky. Sakura was amazing and through it all when she could have ANYONE she wanted. She waited for him. He didn't deserve her, and he was sure her two friends that spent almost the whole evening giving him the cold shoulder knew that as well.
Sasuke has apologized to Ino. It was genuine, and it was an apology that she dryly accepted. They moved past it and that was that. Sasuke wasn't personal or good friends with Shikamaru, so it wasn't really something he HAD to do, but he wanted to do it.
Naruto on the other hand was like family to Sasuke. So it was important to Sasuke to have some type of relations with Naruto's significant other. She was making it difficult though. Sasuke wasn't one to bend backwards for someone to like him either. So, in Sasuke's eyes it was up to her to accept him or not.
Sakura watched Sasuke as he sat on the couch staring off in thought. He was waiting for her to come back with tea so they could spend the night unwinding. Some of their best moments were like this. Sasuke really opened up during the night.
"Hinata will come around. Maybe never Ino, she tends to hold grudges. Hinata though, she just wants what's best for me and I feel the same for her. It's kind of funny when you think about it. She doesn't really trust you and I don't really trust Naruto."
Sasuke accepted the tea from Sakura, "Why don't you trust him by the way?"
Sakura sat close to Sasuke and snuggled up to him and her tea, "Naruto is a little brother to me. It's just…he did go through this, 'bachelors' phase. He was flirtatious with a lot of girls. Hinata has always had a crush on him since we were kids. Like little kids. So I can't help but think Naruto took advantage of that and is just stringing Hinata along. Until he figures out what he really wants in life. Hinata doesn't need that right now. She needs support and…and…just not him."
Sasuke was totally thrown off guard about Sakura's reaction, "She just needs you?"
"EXACTLY! …Wait. That's not what I mean!"
Sakura's face lit up in shock that she said such a thing. She had to sound like an over protective, jealous friend.
Sasuke bit back a smile at this. Sakura was very much protective of her friend. It would seem they were protective of one another. "I get it. Me and Naruto have missed a vital part of you and the Hyuga's life. During that time a very strong bond was formed between you, Ino and her. Me and Naruto must be putting a wedge between the two of you."
Sakura looked off in thought over Sasuke's words, "Love shouldn't put a wedge in friendship. I just…I feel like when it was just me, Ino and Hinata. We could pull her out of her dark thoughts. We could bring her to the light and were figuring out how to fix things. With Naruto. It's different. He's like helping her a lot. He's great to her, but it's just…it's like he's not pulling her to the light. He's taking her somewhere else and I don't really like it."
Sasuke took a sip of his tea and contemplated what Sakura was saying. It would seem from his outside perspective, that both Naruto and his lover had a pretty shitty upbringing and had more in common than Sasuke thought.
This Hyuga wasn't an innocent victim in Sasuke's eyes. She was a trained Anbu. Probable heir to the Hyuga clan. Some of the coldest people he has met. She's a Jonin. She had no remorse in taking the lives of people he knew. What made Sakura think this Hyuga girl wasn't manipulating Naruto's mind?
"Maybe it's not him that's taking her away from the light."
Shikamaru and Naruto stood out on Naruto's balcony while Hinata and Ino talked inside on his couch. The girls just came back from Sakura's party and were winding down. Shikamaru wasn't exactly sure what they were discussing. Ino stated it was just work related.
The common sense that Shikamaru had quickly noted that Ino wasn't in Anbu anymore. What could someone that works in the interrogation and intelligence unit possibly want to discuss with an Anbu ninja.
This was something Shikamaru deemed not worth his time at the moment. Especially with having this particular conversation with Naruto, "So. Hinata's family denied your request to date her? Can they do that? Hinata's an adult now."
Naruto looked out onto the village. Annoyance evident on his face, "Yeah they can. If she fights it, they'll rain down hell on her and the branch family. It's like my third time asking too. Each time I ask I have a load of good reasons why I'm the guy for Hinata. Each time they look at me like I'm a load of shit and basically tell me to fuck off. I go all out too man. I wear the traditional garb they wear and everything. Nothing is good enough for them! All they see is one thing when they look at me."
Shikamaru felt horrible for the guy. Naruto didn't deserve this. After all he's done and endured for this village. To be shunned because of something he cannot change and didn't ask for is utter bull shit.
"It has to be more to it. The Hyuga's just don't want to let Hinata go. They have this twisted hold on her and Neji and don't want to free them from it. They're scared of you Naruto. They can't use you and mold you like they can Hinata and Neji. You might be that backbone that Hinata needs to stand up to them and change their clan. They don't want that."
Naruto closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh, "Yeah. Still. What am I supposed to do? What are me and Hinata supposed to do? They'll put together an arranged marriage sooner rather than later and I just CAN'T lose her."
Shikamaru watched Naruto take deep breaths and grip the ledge of the balcony, "All of this going on behind closed doors, add the Akatsuki as a topping, and then we get invited to a fucking party to rub in our faces that we can't have a 'normal' relationship."
The young Nara figured there was a reason Naruto magically was, 'busy' and did not want to go to his two closest friends celebratory party. "You know they didn't mean to rub it in your face right? I'm not exactly a Sasuke fan, but it wasn't meant to show boat."
Naruto cracked his eyes open and smiled at what Shikamaru said, "At this point. I don't even care anymore."
He'd show them all.
Hiashi sat in his study fuming. His 'daughter' hasn't been living with them for months. It was only a matter of time before the rest of the family found out that she left and that there was internal conflict rising in the main house.
He could only keep Neji at bay but for so long. Currently his nephew was fully booked with missions for some time. Still, it would get out sooner or later that the Hyuga clan was suffering from civil conflict. She was making them look WEAK. This nuisance daughter of his. This waste of fucking space of a daughter.
He could hold the Hokage off. She was requesting to see him, but it would be best for her to worry about more urgent matters. Like a terrorist destroying the village instead of Hyuga clan affairs. Still, the utter embarrassment Hinata was causing him and their family would have to stop now.
Hiashi continued to sit in his study as he started to write out the formal request that will be sent off in the morning. Hanabi will be the official heir to the Hyuga clan and Hinata will be stripped of her title and honor. She will now be open to eligible suitors from other nations. He would have her gone by the end of the year.
Caged seal and all.
End of chapter!
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I enjoyed writing this. It started out cute enough. Like I said before, I'm a work in progress with writing Sasuke and Sakura moments, but I want this couple for this story and I'm trying my best!
Well, see you all next Saturday!
