Sorry for the long hiatus, my lousy excuse: got very caught up in reading lots of different fanfiction and ao3 stories for months.

One last thing before I forget, in this chapter there will be a change of point of view unlike the others. Just a quick heads up.

Anyhow, please enjoy!!

(Red's p.o.v.)

Anyone who has ever been flying or has been a pilot can understand the feeling of feeling so free and feeling the sheer wind in your face, heart pumping, excitement and thrill coursing through your veins, sure sometimes it doesn't matter whether you're the one flying or someone is lying for you, the feeling still there all the same, Though I can understand it's a little bit difficult to understand that if you're flying on an normal airplane.

But One thing is for certain, I'm as happy as a happy go lucky school girl as I was practically smiling so wide that My face was starting to hurt.

Me, Tala, and Chocolat were currently on the deck of our new ship while Québec took us on a flight on the very ship which would be ours from here on out, Dahak would have loved to join us up top but sadly he was too big to fit anywhere outside of the hanger but he was (and insisted that he was) very content in hearing everything going on through the little speaker communicators In each and every room, even on the deck on top.

For a mental image, you know how some movies where they show the communicator making it look like some kind of mini tuba horn that's attached to a dial or something? Yeah picture that. We call them coms.

We were simply just flying around Airedale, but That was more than fine especially as my smile Hardly faltered, The girls were happy too though they can tell that I was even happier.

It may be because of my past, but as far back as I can remember, among anyone else I've ever known who's ever gone flying in someway or another, I always felt more freer compared to others, and looking back at our recent discovery it only makes sense as flying is in my blood and has been all my life.

"Having fun up there?" Québec asked us, amusement was clearly in his voice as he spoke from one of the coms right by the entryway that led back inside.

"That would be an understatement." Tala chuckled.

Québec chuckled back and said, "I can understand that, anyone who doesn't think that flying is fun is clearly a crazy guy!"

"True that!" Tala chimed.

"Though We understand that when it comes to missions or Even traveling from one place to another we have to take flying very seriously." Chocolat reminded us, stressing the caution there.

She was right, when it comes to flying for whatever reason we got cautious, because generally speaking anything can go wrong when you're in flight even when you least expect it, all it takes is one false move to lead to someone meeting their demise via the cloud sea below.

Thrill seekers or not, we're not idiots.

One thing to love about Chocolat, despite her being a bit of a mother hen and yes maybe a little paranoid, but she only ever caution's us because she cares about us and wants to make sure that we're all safe and sound.

Honestly, looking back at some of our misadventures, if not for her we would have ended up in even serious trouble, or worse (I actually nearly lost an arm when we were in our first year in middle school, If not for her I would have been crippled and would've lost my dream of being a pilot for good).

"True," I finally chimed in, "In that regard it's all fun and games until somebody loses an arm or even their lives."

"Glad to hear ya lot speak common sense, any pilot not willing to stress even a bit of caution is an fool waiting to end up in the morgue." Québec stated.

Morbid but very true.

"Anyhow, how's the view from up there?" He asked us going back to the situation at hand.

"It's great!" Tala exclaimed in awe.

"Tremendously so!" Chocolat chimes in glee.

"Like something literally out of our wildest dreams. Because, looking back, it is!." I said in joy, "No words can ever possibly describe how amazing this is."

And I mean it too, there's a difference between exploring around the town on foot and exploring the town up in the air, the whole floating island itself truly does look like something that was pulled into reality from a fantasy story or Even one of those studio Ghibli films.

No matter how many times we've pinched ourselves, we still know that everything we're seeing here is very real.

Especially when the dreams I've been having all my life now make sense.

For as long as I can remember I always felt out of place even though I found a home with the chambers family and with my two best friends/sisters, I had all sorts of adventures with them, I have a good life, I'm a prodigy pilot With a license to prove it, and yet Even though I don't voice it out to anybody besides my loved ones although perhaps not too verbally but in a way it was pretty obvious that I felt like a puzzle piece not able to fit into the jigsaw puzzle as if the puzzle in question was the wrong type for the piece that was trying to fit in.

And given all that was brought into light, it is really true because for me as the puzzle piece I was trying to fit into the wrong jigsaw puzzle because I assumed I was normal like everyone else on earth.

Think of the puzzle piece having a design so similar to the jigsaw puzzle it's trying to fit into that you would assume that it would fit, that it is supposed to, but in reality it can't.

Even though I still don't remember everything, I now know why I was struggling in trying to understand The feeling of belonging somewhere else despite having a very good life.

For the first time in forever, that burden has finally lifted from my shoulders, and I felt free. More so than words could ever possibly hope to describe. And needless to say, it felt relieving and made me feel lighter than ever.

(For a Moment; different version)

Me: Okay

Get a grip

Get the hang of the air here

It's like sailing the ocean on top the main sail there

This way is left

But which way is right?

Oh now I'll be circling in circles all night

"Oh now we're descending, Cool!" I chimed as the ship had gentle descent as the Air tour around the town continue to get even more amazing.

Me: Still can't believe I can do this and more

Flying skies in a new world, it's cool for sure

Free as a bird not closed up like a clam

Look out skies

I'll tell you why

Here I am!

For a moment out of me

Alive and at home in the sky sea

We're flying and soaring so graceful and grand

Not stubbing our toes getting stuck in the sand

(Tala Chocolat: Oh~)

Me: For a moment, it's not just me

My sister's and I are flying free

This is more than my thoughts ever thought it could be

For a moment, just a moment, Happy We! (*Giggled*)

(Tala Chocolat: Oh~~)

Chocolat: If only for one moment

We could share with them all we know

Tala: Our family would see the mysteries

But they're lost, where did they go?

Me: Everything is newer and brighter and bluer

And truer to life than before

Watch us soar!~

(Tala Chocolat: Oh~)

Me: For a moment, we can shine

For we grin in the end it works fine

My hair is blown and frizzy and I really don't care

If all of my curls had curled out of my hair

(Tala Chocolat: Oh~)

Me: For a moment, I can feel

All the dreams I've been dreaming are real

Hope our family could hear it

The skies are my song

For a moment, just a moment, I belong

Tala: We will find you, we promise

And the moment that we do

Chocolat: We'll be reunited, our family

And sing our song of the skies

With you!

(Tala Chocolat: Sing our song of the skies

With you!)

Me: For a moment, just a moment, I belong!

It felt so grand, it truly was amazing, I haven't felt like this in... ages. Indeed, this world, was my true homelands (so to speak).

And yet... Our family...

Turning back to the girls I told them, "Don't worry girls, we'll find them soon. I'm just as worried about our family as you are, but even though months have gone by without any sign of them yet, we cannot lose hope, and we gotta trust that they can take care of themselves... I mean, in all our worries, have really forgotten that each of them are able to take care of themselves even if separated?"

The two pondered on it for a while before they had a look of realization, for indeed It seems that we did forget about the fact that we chambers (biological or not) are fighters.

Dad's an expert pilot and adventurer In his own right.

Moms had years of medical training from learning from her surrogate uncle ever since she was a child. And while she may not look it she nonetheless was built to run marathons.

Dave has had years of martial arts under his belt with nobody but us knowing about it in case of an emergency (recalling the one time he helps stop a purse snatcher 2 years back, gave the punk a run for his money).

And Lily, despite her young age, she's more than capable of outwitting and outsmarting crooks who try to nab her (I can name at least five instances that she got caught in but she was able to make it out unscathed).

"You're right." Tala agreed, "I feel like an idiot for forgetting that fact."

"I believe we're all guilty of that, overwhelming emotion more often than not tends to make one forget particular facts in some case or another no matter what emotion is at play. This can happen to anyone." Chocolat stated.

"You got that right." I agreed.

"I too believe that we will find them." Dahak spoke after being silent for so long through the com, "From what you have told me, all of you are capable fighters in your own right, I believe that in time we will find them as I'm pretty sure that just like you three they are looking for you as well."

Dahak was right, We can't forget the other fact.

"But even so there's still one fact that's been bugging me for a while, surely with the fact that all 7 of us looking for each other something would have come up by now, but it's already been 4 months so why hasn't there been any progress?" Chocolat asking, trying to contemplate the question itself.

"I'm only going to have to guess that they're either in circumstances that make some unable to have the correct resources to help in their search, they got into some kind of trouble and they're in hiding for now or they're on an island that's far away from the major cities." Québec guessed.

"True enough, though I can only hope that for the sake of their welfare that it's more the former or ladder rather than the middle." Chocolat replied with a worried sigh.

We all agreed on that.

Wherever they are, we can only hope they haven't gotten into any sort of trouble ... until we actually do find them that remains to be seen.

Worrying about "what ifs" will only hinder us.

Still... as we will soon embark on our own adventures as hunters, who knows what we may run into out there and what we might encounter?

X

(No one's p.o.v.)

In a grand office that look like a mix between the architect of feudal Japan and a bit of futuristic steampunk fashion, sat a male Caninu who sat in the dark with only his computer on his desk as the only source of light that shines in the darkness, he was busy at work, no sound was heard besides the 'click-clacking' of the keyboard to the computer.

Suddenly, there was an echo knocking on the door to his office as he told the person knocking to come in.

Light poured into the room as the door opened revealing the shadowy silhouette of what appears to be Caninu, But this one being female as she appeared to have a clipboard in her hands and as She spoke with professionalism in her posture:

"I trust I'm not interrupting you from anything?"

"Not quite," He replied as he sat up straight, with a few pops in his back being audible due to being hunched over for some time, as he turned to face her completely, "what news do you have for me?"

"By my calculations It will happen in 2 months from now." She told him straight forward.

He smirked in delight at that, "Excellent, after all this time I can finally achieve my ultimate goal." He chuckled a bit before he cleared his throat and turned his attention back to the woman in question, "Is that an all or is there more news you have?"

"There is actually, our excavation team has just come back from a mining expedition that you sent them on not too long ago and they found a good treasure trove of items we can either keep or sell at our leisure."

"Good, I was wondering when they were going to be back as they were gone longer than the intended point of return."

"There's a good reason behind there, the team was caught in a cave-in and were stuck in there for 2 days, were not for the proper tools they had, The ample food supply they had and the fact that some parts of the caves thankfully didn't have their air pockets completely sealed up they would have surely perished. They are all well aside from extreme exhaustion and some surprisingly minor injuries, they are being tended to by our medical staff right now."

"Good, be sure to have the staff be thorough in their first aid, the last thing we want is for any of them to suddenly fall ill because of an illness they picked up from being trapped in those mines for days And then having it be spread amongst our troops due to the negligence of a thorough search on them."

"Will do, And then comes the last bit of news that I wanted to bring you, as of an hour ago we found the escape ship that He took from our hanger 2 months ago, however it seems that it's long since been abandoned and has not been touched ever since."

He groaned in annoyance, rubbing his temples in frustration, "We should have expected as much, only an idiot keeps an escape ship that they stole from a well-known organization without contemplating the consequences. And He by no means is an idiot, despite his naivety in the beginning we should have considered that he was more capable than we gave him credit for."

"Indeed we should've. We have yet to get any leads on his whereabouts." She told him.

"It's fine," He told her somewhat dismissively But otherwise self-assured, "He can't hide from us forever, anyone who crosses us doesn't escape us for long. Continue the search, should anything come up, report to me immediately."

"Very well. Will you need me for anything right now?" She asked.

"Not right now, though if anything comes up I'll let you know. For now you're free to return to your lab and continue with your experiments."

"Very well." She responded before she bid her boss farewell for now and left the office, closing the door as the room once again was bathed in complete darkness with only the computer light shining through said darkness.

The male Caninu massages the right strand of his mustache as he smirks yet again.

"Soon... very soon ... all the pieces will fall into place..."

Song: For a moment (By Tara Strong and Jodi Benson)

(But imagine if the song itself was a trio rather than a duet)

And of course I made the changes to a good handful of lyrics to fit here.

I know this is kinda short but that's ok, this is fine here.

Until next time, TTFN!!
