Authors note: Hey my dudes!
I just rewatched Stranger Things season 4 for the third time yesterday, not that it has anything to do with this. Try before you deny; this story, but also pineapple pizza, not that I like pineapple on pizza I actually hate it. Sorry, I'm getting off topic here.
Anyway, this chapter is called The Full Moon but not really any of it has anything to do with the full moon it's just a full moon night so don't expect to read about Remus or anything.
The Harry Potter universe belongs to Joanne Rowling, sadly not me. :(
Have a good time reading fanfiction, whether it's this one or not, but I have no idea why you're reading this A.N if you're not going to read this story.
Sorry, I'll stop.
Have a good day, goodbye. :)
Harry sat on his bed next to Malfoy watching as the Marauders faked sick.
James was lying face down on the floor groaning, Sirius was leaning against his desk chair shooting Harry grins every so often and Peter was just lying on his bed sniffling.
"Feeling alright?" Harry asked, trying not to laugh.
"No." James groaned. He then stood up abruptly and ran into the bathroom.
Harry could hear retching coming from behind the closed door and smiled to himself, he had to admit that the Marauders were just as good at acting as they were pranking.
James stumbled out the bathroom holding his stomach.
"You should all go to the hospital wing." Harry said, playing into their dramatic escape just to be with Moony.
"Yeah," Peter and Sirius stood up slowly following James out the room.
As soon as the door shut Harry burst out laughing.
He rolled off his bed and clutched his stomach as he lay on the floor in a fit of giggles.
"What?" Malfoy asked.
"Their acting is on point." Harry said in-between sniggers.
"Acting? Looked pretty real to me." Malfoy looked down at Harry confused.
"Exactly." Harry nodded sitting up and leaning against the side of his bed.
"O-kay." Malfoy said slowly. "Anyway, when are we next going to discuss why we're here?"
"Well, with our Secret Future meetings-" "I told you to stop calling them that; it sounds stupid." Malfoy interrupted. Harry ignored him, "We'll have to have them during the day sometime, since Luna's in the 5th year girls dormitory, weird though since she's fourth year." "Sure." Malfoy slumped down on the bed staring at the roof of the four poster.
"That's my bed." Harry grunted, grabbing hold of the teen's leg and pulling him off the bed onto the floor.
Malfoy landed on the ground, hard. He glared at Harry before walking over to his own bed and lying down.
"I don't get how all four of them are sick." Malfoy said peering over at Harry.
"Oh, it's 'cause they aren't." Harry shrugged.
Malfoy sighed and turned over so his back was facing Harry.
"Good night." Harry grinned at the boy before snatching up his invisibility cloak and skipping out the dorm.
Harry wondered the forest, the cool night air whipping at his hair.
Remus would be in the shrieking shack, so Harry didn't have to worry about being murdered.
He heard hooves and turned to see three centaurs glaring at him.
"Good evening." Harry nodded to them.
"What are you doing in our forest?" The one standing in the middle snapped at him.
"It is no more yours than it is mine." Harry shrugged.
"We live here; it is ours." The centaur on the left said cooly.
"Other creatures live here not just you centaurs." Harry tilted his head in the direction of a snake which was slithering towards them.
"We are not creatures!" The middle centaur almost yelled.
"I said 'there are other creatures' not meaning that you are creatures rather that there are creatures living here as well as you." Harry stated matter of factly.
"Makes sense." The centaur on the right muttered.
'Oooo, a person' The snake slithered up to Harry.
'Hello.' Harry smiled down at the snake.
'He speaks! He be a speaker!' The snake said sounding excited.
'Yes, I can speak.' Harry chuckled at the snakes antics.
'He is being my friend now.' The snake stated sliding up Harry's legs and wrapping itself around Harry's shoulders and neck.
'Sure.' Harry smiled at the snake again before turning back to the centaurs.
He then became aware that the centaurs were looking at him nervously.
"What?" He asked them curiously.
"You speak with them." The middle centaur said cautiously.
"What? Snakes? Yeah." Harry tilted his head in confusion.
"We are sorry. We didn't know." And then the centaurs left.
"Okay then." Harry said still looking and sounding confused.
He then turned his head slightly so he could see the snake and asked, 'Wanna live with me?'
'Yes! Yes! Yes!' The snake said eagerly, nodding it's head franticly.
Harry grinned before asking, 'Do you have a name?'
'No, but my friends be calling me crazy.' The snake answered.
'That won't do.' Harry said, feeling bad for the snake. 'How about I call you Ebony, Eb for short?'
'Eb is be sounding nice.' The snake answered. 'Eb it is then.' Harry grinned.
'I'll have to put this cloak over us so we don't get seen.' Harry told Eb, holding up his invisibility cloak.
Eb nodded and Harry covered himself with the cloak.
'It is being nice and warm.' The snake hissed quietly.
Harry grinned, the snake spoke a lot like Dobby did.
Harry drew the curtains around his bed, placed Eb on his pillow and fell asleep to the snake's quiet, pleasant hisses.
He didn't sleep for long before being woken up by the snake.
'You is being too loud.' It hissed at him.
'I'm what?' Harry asked.
'You be talking, stop talking.' Eb hissed quietly.
'Oh, I'm sleep talking, I don't mean to.' Harry told the snake.
'Stop talking.' The snake hissed closing it's eyes.
Harry scowled and snatched up his wand.
He cast a spell on himself so he couldn't talk and fell back asleep within seconds.
