"Save the lost"
I woke up on the stone floor of the antechamber in the elder's temple with a massive headache. I sighed before I stood up, they had beaten me.
"Those two didn't even close the door before leaving." I said to no one, I wasn't used to being alone like this. I walked into the elder's chamber, I lit the candle and was whisked away to the Elder's space. He was facing away from me this time.
"I'm very disappointed in you Ozfonzo." He said, still refusing to face me
"Why? Because I didn't just let those two blow past and get themselves killed?"
"You killed Jings!" He turned to shout.
"He was corrupted! He was too dangerous to keep around me!"
"You could have simply expanded his Winged Lights! Rebirth could have saved him!"
"I know you keep saying they find their back into the world but that really doesn't seem like the case to me. I've seen what happens, they aren't expended, they're destroyed! Obliterated into nothingness!" The old man didn't say anything, he just sighed. There was a moment of silence between us.
"I assume that you are still intending in vain on fixing the Engine."
"Just because you lived long enough to age into becoming a spirit doesn't mean you get to decide someone else's purpose!"
"I did not decide your purpose, your birth did. Your father simply did not know what he was talking about."
"Shut up! Don't you dare mention my father! He was a greater man then you'll ever be! I didn't come here to be scolded I came here for guidance."
"And you are simply refusing to listen the guidance i have for you." The elder wasted no time in just ending our conversation there, no fade out slowly back into the room, just a blink and I was back. He was normally more theatrical. The doors to the next realm remained closed however. It was going to be a lot harder to catch up to those two now. I took a moment to think. I might be able to to meet them in the forest if I'm quick about this. Double checking to make sure I had everything, my spear, shield, and spell candles, I closed the door to the elder's chamber from inside. I sat down and started meditating, Thinking of my home and feeling a tug, I knew I was there.
