They checked the Macy's department store, then various other clothing stores (H&M, Hot Topic, Foot Locker, and Foot Locker Kidz) Kay jewelers, the Dollar, and more stores all over the mall, but they found no other clues. That is, until they went to Dave and Busters...

John: We're at Dave and Busters.

Odlulu: (points to the restaurant's arcade area) Hey, look over there!

Everyone saw what appeared to be a shadow taking a Skee-Ball machine out of the room...

John: Hey, stop right there!

The shadow had noticed, and quickly moved with the Skee-Ball machine in his grasp! John got out his gun, and both he and Jackie ran around the Restaurant, looking for the presumed crook. Unfortunately, the shadow seemed to have disappeared. John and Jackie sadly walked out of Dave and Buster's and back to Odlulu and Fritz, who were waiting...

Odlulu: Did you guys find that shadowy figure?

John: Unfortunately, we couldn't. But we do have another lead on the thief.

Jackie: We'll need to talk to Sofia and the police chief what we found.

Fritz: Yeah, yeah!

John: Well, let's break for lunch, and then we can tell them what we've discovered.

Fritz licked his lips as he and the three humans were walking to the food court, and everyone got some food from Charley's Philly Steaks and Cheese restaurant. After they finished their food, the team called Sofia and the police chief to discuss what they've seen...

Police Chief: (on phone) Hello, how may we help you?

John: Chief, this is Officer Stuffins here. We saw someone or Something in Dave and Busters, trying to steal the arcade games!

Sofia: (on phone, surprised) Wow! Were you or your teammates able to get a good look on who it was?

John: We couldn't. Apparently, the shadow figure saw us, and it split as soon as possible!

Chief: John, we had someone just call me with more information about the theft. There's a house in Oakdale that the caller saw, with a lot of stuff that looks expensive right outside. When you return to the station, I'll print out the address for you.

John: Alright, that's fine.

Jackie: Wait, how does this other case help us solve who killed Meteora?

Chief: I'll also print out the address to her house in Patchogue as well.

Jackie: Thank you.

Chief: Tomorrow, I'll need you all to go to those houses to check for any clues. John, take Odlulu and Fritz with you to Meteora's house to find any possible links to the murder, while Jackie and Brittany go to the house that's in Patchogue, to find if there's any stuff there from those malls.

Sofia: Also, Jackie, I'm coming along with you and Brittney as backup. As a protector, I've faced a lot of danger from doing missions myself.

Jackie: That's reasonable, Sofia.

Sofia: Okay, then, we're going there in the morning.

Chief: With all of you split up, and searching at both houses, we might be able to solve these mysteries!

John: That would be terrific, Chief.

Chief: Alright then, we have a big day tomorrow. Get a good night's sleep, because you're gonna need it. (call ends)

The team walked out of the Westfield Sunrise Mall, and went into the parking lot, with John, Odlulu, and Fritz getting into the police car, with john driving the pre-teen girl and ferret home. Jackie got in the red car, and drive back to the house on Bellemeade Street, and waited for Brittney to return from her meeting. When she returned, Jackie told her all what had happened, to which she was amazed. Before turning in for the night, the two women had a conversation...

Brittney: Jackie, I thought I wouldn't be able to stand living with you the whole week, but surprisingly, we've been working really well together!

Jackie: Same here.

Brittney: And Odlulu and her pet ferret Fritz aren't bad either.

Jackie: (chuckles) It's crazy enough to think that I'm actually going to miss having you as a roommate.

Brittney: Hey, when we return to Echo Creek, how about we have a little get together? We certainly can introduce our families to each other, and become good friends.

Jackie: (smiles) I would like that, Brittney.

And so, the women turned in for the night, to prepare what could be an important day for them tomorrow...
