Hey, how is everyone doing? I wanted to put this chapter out earlier but there were technical issues here again. It seems to be fixed and of course, it's when I'm not feeling at my best. However, that isn't going to stop me since I appreciate everyone here who has been reading and I want to get this chapter out there. I hope you like it and without further ado, let's get back to it.
Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia or any of the characters.
Midoriya had received a call from Tsuyu, asking her to meet him by the front gate.
"I wonder what she needs." Midoriya thought, out loud.
Midoriya made his way to the gate, being greeted by the sight of Tsuyu and strangely enough, Midnight.
"Hey, I got your message, is everything okay." Midoriya said, as he looked back and forth between Tsu and Midnight.
"Everything is fine Midoriya, Ms. Asui here just wanted to surprise you by taking you on a date… with my permission of course." Midnight told him.
Midoriya looked surprised for a moment, with his mouth slightly open before turning into a smile.
"Is that true, Tsu?" Midoriya asked.
"Ribbit." Tsuyu said, as she nodded in confirmation.
"Well then, I would love to go out with you." Midoriya said, as he held her hand.
Midoriya leaned down and kissed her hand, causing Tsuyu to blush and Midnight to become her usual over the top self.
"Such a gentleman!" Midnight exclaimed, while almost swooning.
Midnight regained some of her composure but still looked at the two of them, enthusiastically.
"Alright, are we ready to go?" Midnight asked.
Midoriya looked at Midnight, confused by a little detail in what she had said.
"We?" Midoriya asked.
Tsuyu nervously looked away for a moment, nervously laughing a little before she told Midoriya the catch.
"Izuku, I got permission for us to leave campus for our date, but it was under one condition." Tsuyu told him.
Midoriya looked over to see an excited looking Midnight.
"Do I even need to ask?" Midoriya asked.
Tsuyu sighed and looked over at her as well.
"We can go out as long as we have a chaperone." Tsuyu said.
Midoriya's expression changed to one of horror.
"Oh no." Midoriya thought.
"Don't worry, the two of you won't even know I'm there." Midnight said, with a shrug.
Later.
Midoriya and Tsuyu had made their way to the park, holding each other close as they walked down the path.
It would've been really romantic, had it not been for Midnight following closely behind them.
"Yeah, we won't even notice that she's here." Tsuyu thought, sarcastically.
"I'd carry Tsuyu and try to get away if I didn't think that we'd get into trouble." Midoriya thought.
"So, aside from the third wheel, how is this date been so far?" Tsuyu asked.
"It's not exactly what I had in mind." Midoriya said, as he glanced back at Midnight.
"But, I'm here with you and that's all that matters." Midoriya said.
Tsuyu just snickered at that.
"I guess it's not just your hero lines that are cheesy." Tsuyu said, teasingly.
"Hey, it may be cheesy but it is how I feel about you." Midoriya said.
Midoriya stopped walking and held Tsuyu a little closer.
"I don't care what we do, whether it's a walk, a trip to the beach, seeing a movie or even just sitting on a couch together doing nothing, as long as I'm with you, I've got no complaints." Midoriya told her.
Tsuyu let out a sound of content, always being moved by Midoriya's words.
Tsuyu gave him a quick kiss on the lips to show her affection.
The next thing they knew, they heard a strange noise behind them.
They both turned around to see an unconscious Midnight on the ground behind them.
Both of them rushed to her, noticing that she was okay and that she had just fainted.
"I guess I wasn't the only one who was moved by your speech." Tsuyu said.
"I'm so sorry that I overwhelmed you Ms. Midnight!" Midoriya shouted, apologetically.
"It's been awhile since I've seen him this nervous, it reminds me of when we first met." Tsuyu thought.
Later.
Toshinori had returned to the offices and was currently doing some paperwork when both Midoriya and Asui came walking in, carrying an unconscious Midnight.
"Weirdly enough, this isn't the strangest thing I've seen this week." Toshinori thought.
The two of them set her down in her chair and sighed with relief.
"So, do you want to explain that or should we just move on?" Toshinori said, as he pointed at Midnight.
Midoriya and Tsuyu took one look at each other and then looked at Toshinori.
"Move on." Midoriya said.
"Move on." Tsuyu said, at the exact same time.
Midoriya and Tsuyu walked out of the offices, leaving Midnight to rest and Toshinori to be confused.
"Well, so much for an actual date, we spent half of it being monitored and the other half carrying our teacher back to the school." Tsuyu said.
"Hey, considering what has happened to me the last few times I've gone out, I will gladly take this over encountering villains." Midoriya said.
Tsuyu laughed for a moment but her smile quickly faded.
"Yeah, but still, it would've been nice for some alone time with you outside of school." Tsuyu said.
"That's true, but we can always try again." Midoriya said, optimistically.
Tsuyu leaned her head over, resting it against his chest.
"Yeah, I know." Tsuyu said.
"In the meantime, do you want to head back to the dorms?" Midoriya asked.
"Sure, but remember to lock the door this time, we don't need more uninvited guests." Tsuyu said, teasingly.
Midoriya blushed, remembering Uraraka's expression.
"No problem." Midoriya said, nervously.
As Midoriya and Tsuyu walked back to the dorms, they wondered when they would get the chance for another date.
Would it be soon?
Would it be before they graduated?
Would it take them until after they were already professional heroes?
Only time would tell but to them it didn't matter when, as long they were together.
