Chapter:32 The Calm before the Storm
The Tournament continues on as Yang have just won her fight against Mercury, so the gang joined up to Jaune and his friends to another group hang out.
Hanging with them now is the Meme Squad and Rin.
"It's really nice to meet you guys personally," Coco said as she look at the five singers with approval.
"Why thank you, I do hope you have some fun with the rest of our friends," Rin said.
"They were great, but I was really worried about two of them. Mayu and Tei were their names wasn't it?" Emerald said.
"You don't have to worry about Mayu," Fukase assured them. "She won't hurt you, just don't make her jealous."
"But be wary about Tei, she can be anywhere," Len said as he looked around before letting out a sigh of relief.
"Just what is wrong with them anyway? What are you not talking about them?" Ruby asked as the two bands and singers with them were a bit hesitant to answer.
Being the more calm member of the group, Flower decided to answer for them.
"Mayu and Tei are stalkers. Tei being the worst of it," She said to the gang as they were just flabbergasted with what they heard.
"Whoa whoa whoa! Are you telling us that this guy's girlfriend," Sun said while pointing at Fukase. "Is a stalker and you are acting as if its normal?"
"We do attract some... bizarre people," Piko said.
"But they know when to behave or they face a lot of consequences other than being fired," Rin said as she was beside Izuku along with Tsuyu and Flower. "Our bosses are really strict with us, they let some things slip but they wouldn't hesitate to punish us after that."
"Especially that one time Kaito thought giving us a roadroller as a birthday gift was a good idea, we don't have licenses mind you, and crashed it into the fountain on the front of our headquarters," Len said.
"So they had us clean the whole mess and took half of our paycheck to pay for the damages and Kaito was banned from eati g ice cream for four months," The gang were really shocked by this.
"Does this happen often?" Pyrrha asked as Ryuko let out a snort.
"With Len and Fukase around, trouble always happen especially Fukase," Ryuko said as the deformed redhead looked rather smug rather than embarrassed.
"I'm not regretting any of it," Fukase boldly said.
"Dick," Flower mutters under her breathe.
"Swear!" Ruby and Oliver called her out as they pulled out the legendary swear jar, one for each of them.
Flower just look at the two before grabbing her wallet, grumbling, and gave the two a Lien each. The two smiled as they return their respective jars somewhere.
"Seriously, he is a massive jerk and he is proud of it," Piko said.
"Damn straight," Fukase said with that same smug smile on his face.
"Man, we should hang out sometimes," Sun said.
"We have a ton of gaming consoles so why not," The redhead said as most of the guys pump their fists in excitement. "We have Mario Kart, Mario Party, Cuphead, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Goat Simulator, and many more games."
Most are silent at what he said.
"Aren't the first four games you said are really known for rages?" Mercury asked.
"Oh yeah and I am good with most of them," Fukase said.
"He always uses Spy with the Dead Ringer," Piko said.
"Oh heck no! I don't want to be backstabbed by a Spy, especially one that uses the Dead Ringer," Neptune said as the guys were outraged.
"Loser," Fukase said mockingly as he gave them the loser sign which only infuriated them.
As the boys keep talking to each other, mostly Fukase trash talking them, the girls have their own conversation.
"So you, Rin, Flower and three other girls are with Jaune's friend?" Coco asked Tsuyu as she referred to Izuku.
"We had a rough start but we soon got used to it," The Frog Faunus said.
"Three of us are already fine with it since we work in the same place but the others had a some difficulties till they finally decided to join," Rin said.
"Do more girls want to be with him?" Yang asked.
"There are but Izuku can't handle that much and they respected his wishes, but there are some who were cuckoo crazy," Tsuyu said.
"Sheesh, either he is lucky or very unlucky," Coco said.
"That's Makoto's thing," Ryuko said as they laugh a bit.
They continued walking with the boys keeping up their conservation till Blake look at Flower.
"How do you feel now... after everything," Blake said as the others also want to hear this.
Flower just shrugs and said, "It's in the past now. I was just a newbie in the big leagues and I kinda expect it to happen."
"Still, that must be really awful," Velvet said.
"But it was a great lesson for me," Flower said as she then look at Izuku with a small smile. "And a new beginning to start on."
The group then saw an arcade cafe as they then look at each other.
"Who wants to do some rounds?" Jaune asked as everyone immediately ran in and he hastily followed them inside.
Inside the arcade cafe, everyone were playing a ton of games.
Yang and Ruby were playing an old fighting game as they mash the buttons and move sticks around to end the other. Sun and Neptune were doing the same along with Natsu and Asta.
Some are doing the coin drop game, mainly Makoto and Mercury as the former randomly wins the jackpot three times while the latter is grumbling at how unfair this game is.
Blake and Ren playing air hockey, the two haven't got any points as they were too quick to block each chance they had to score.
Rin and Len were on the dance machine, completely destroying the previous record very easily with the Meme Squad watching.
Denki and Issei shooting some hoops in the basketball game with Kyoka and Ryuko watching them.
Nora played whack-a-mole again and she was quickly banned on it as she now joins the one's who weren't playing, sulking.
Speaking of others, the some of the group have just came back with their orders as everyone quickly sat down to get them.
All of them have different pastries or sandwiches, and drinks. Each of their own preference.
"So what else do you guys want to do?" Ruby asked with a mouthful of cookies and a strawberry smoothie in hand.
"We could check out that new movie that came out, I heard that it's amazing," Sun said as he ate a slice of banana bread and a banana shake in hand.
"I think there is also another movie that is also good," Makoto said as he munches on a plain bagel while a cup of coffee is beside him.
"But I heard that an old classic have just came back and I thought we could watch it together," Piko said as he has a half eaten white glazed donut in hand and a cappuccino in front of him.
"How about this," Jaune said as he finished eating his cream puff. "There are like 4 movies available in the theaters right now right? So just choose what you want there and we'll pay for the tickets together."
"That could work," Ren said as he has a plate of dango and a cup of green tea.
"So who goes with who?" Yang asked as they discuss what movie they want to see.
Back in Beacon, Naruto could be seen meditating under a large oak tree.
The already ancient man took some deep breathes, his body relaxed as he just enjoys the serenity around him. His eyes shut as he quietly humm.
He then heard a load cracking sound before jumping into the air, his eyes still closed, and avoided a bolt of lightning that would've hit him.
"A bit slow there girls," Naruto said as he open his eyes and turned around to see both Mordred and Franny popping out of the bushes with pouts on their faces.
"We almost got you," Mordred said as Fran frantically nods while making affirmative grunts.
Naruto just let out a chuckle and said, "Then do it a bit faster. You wouldn't hit anything with an attack like that."
Mordred sputters as she was stuttering a retort but it was stuck in her throat. Fran meanwhile just keeps pouting, even stomping her little feet on the ground.
The elderly man just chuckles again from their reactions as he then appeared before them and gave the two a huge hug as the two girls let out yelps of surprise before laughing jovially when Naruto spins around before falling on his back while also laughing during it.
As he now lays on his back, he began to reminisce everything that happened after his arrival in Remnant. He enjoyed each moment and kept it in his heart, he was just happy for each memory that he could remember.
His arrival to Mistral with his wife.
Meeting his son's own family.
Seeing his grandchildren taking their first step into their own independence.
Meeting the newer additions of the family.
The news of his daughter having her own family via letter.
His cousin Karin having her own growing family.
His great grandchildren taking their very first breathe into this world.
Seeing them growing up as their own person, helping them in their moment of weakness, and just love all of the times the elderly man have remembered.
All in all, it is a great life to live in.
"Hey Gramps," Mordred said as she and Fran look at him so he looks back at them.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Can you get us some ice cream?" Mordred said as Fran made some sound of agreement.
Naruto did a fake thinking look before saying, "Sure why not."
The two cheers as he stood up and let the two down, he then turn his back towards them and points at it.
"Alright get on," Naruto said as the two little girls were excited and quickly jump on his back. Adjusting them a bit with his arms, he then looks at them. "Now hold on."
They held on really tightly as he began to crouch down and the two girls waited in anticipation.
So in a blink if an eye, they disappear on the spot, the only sign of them being there is Mordred's loud cheering.
With Boruto, the younger elderly man is currently in the festival, away from the arena as most of his children, grandchildren, and relatives are here to enjoy some time together with their friends.
"Hey Gramps!" He then look to his side and saw his son, Isshin walking towards him.
"What is it?" Boruto asked as he could see some of his family enjoying their time together.
"Can we talk somewhere private?" Isshin asked with a serious tone as his father looked at him.
He and Isshin then walked away from the festivities as they now stand alone, far away from any eavesdropping.
"So what's the problem?"
"Vale is going to be attacked soon."
! "Who told you this?"
"It was Torchwick, he came to me so he could give me information in exchange for a pardon. Genji also went ahead to check if its true and he confirms it."
"Who's attacking?"
"The White Fang."
It was now nighttime, Jaune and his team are sitting together in the Coliseum to watch Pyrrha and Penny's fight with some of their friends.
Those who are with them are Ruby, Team CFVY, Izuku, Lucy, Natsu, Rin, Len, and Flower as they were just enjoying the fight below.
"Go Pyrrha!" Nora cheered with a large Team JNPR banner. "Do it for Team JNPR!"
"You go girls!" Coco cheered on.
As the two girls continued to fight, Jaune could only look at them with look of joy and pride.
"Say Jaune, where's Denki and Kyoka?" Natsu asked.
"Those two? They are currently calling their friends from their school," Jaune said.
"Man, they are going to miss a lot of the fight. Especially the others, where are they even?"
"Well... Tsuyu joined with Denki and Kyoka, Issei also went to call his friends and girlfriends with Asia, Makoto and Ryuko did so as well, and Asta just went to train more."
"Well they better watch this somewhere that has a TV."
Both Pyrrha and Penny continued their fight as they continously clash their weapons against each other.
BOOM!!!!
A loud explosion was then heard as the Coliseum seems to rock a bit which caused everyone to panic.
Jaune and his friends immediately stood up as they were confused to what is happening.
"Where did it came from?" Ruby asked.
"Humans," An unknown voice was heard from the Coliseum's sound system, it contained so much hate that Jaune and his friends now knows what is happening.
"Today is the day of your reckoning. The day that we will finally had enough of you!"
It was also heard in the festival below as Blake with the rest of Team RWBY and she was shocked and scared.
"Adam," She said under her breathe as she clenched her fists while her teammates look at her, worried.
With Boruto and Isshin, they also heard this as they look at each other.
"Get the rest of the family, things are going to be messy," The elderly man said as his son nods and they quickly left to warn everyone.
"We are tired of being shamed, we are tired of being pushed around, and we are tired of being seen like a common ANIMAL!!"
In the city, Cinder and her group are in Junior's bar along with Roman.
"That fool," Cinder said under her breathe as she hears this.
Not only this psycho would declare war in Vale, but declaring war when a much more force than Atlas are with them.
While she indeed changed, she would be utterly horrified if she was the Arc's enemy if she didn't. She was glad that she did along with her companions as they never want to face them.
"What do we do now?" Mercury asked.
"Simple," Cinder said as she stands up. "We protect Vale."
"We got your back," Melanie said.
"Totally," Miltia said.
"Nobody is going to mess in my town," Junior said.
"It's time that they have a reality check of their own," Roman said as Neo nods.
"Then let's take those bastards down," Mercury said.
"We'll be right behind you," Emerald said.
Cinder could feel the warm feeling in her heart with how her associ- No, friends now standing beside her.
Her future is much brighter.
"You see yourselves as the superior species! But we are here to prove you wrong! All of us are more superior than you! We will break the chains of slavery that you put on us and end you all with your blood in our hands!"
Naruto is currently in the city glaring at a nearby screen because of what he heard while his two great great great grand kid and niece were still choosing what type of ice cream they want.
"So they want a war?" Naruto mumbles.
Arthuria could be seen with her friends, their weapons with them, as they are currently running through the city of Vale.
"Because, if they want one."
Genji could be seen jumping from the rooftops as he headed for Beacon.
"They better be prepared."
Seras could be seen sitting on the highest point of the city while a black shadow stood behind her with red piercing eyes and a savage grin.
"They better have the guts to back up those words."
Ryouna and Katsuragi could be seen in an alley way with multiple figures hiding in the shadow.
"Because we will be doing the same."
Back in the Coliseum, Jaune and his friends have their Scrolls out, having their weapons sent to their coordinates.
"We will fight back."
And that's it for this chapter!
The end is nearing for this story and I'm gonna make it a great two part finale!
The first is, of course, the fight, then the epilogue.
I am just so happy to create this story, all of you liking and following this really excites my day and I couldn't be more proud making this.
I should also say that the BNHA version of this will happen some time after this. I am still thinking it through and need more development.
The harem will still be small, I am doing this because I really love most of the ships in the series and I personally see Izuku only having that much because of his personality.
I really made it this far and I will keep going to continue my joy and your entertainment.
For now, I will do the next chapter and I will be seeing you guys in it.
