One-Shot: Hope I Die Before I Get Old

Deren S'leya had to admit: Teyi was right about humans. They were SO MUCH FUN.
Never in her wildest dreams did she think the first planet she visited would be this awesome!
As she was dancing to The Beatles and taking another hit off her joint, she mentally listed the things she loved about IDF space:
- The drugs. GODDESS, THE DRUGS! It seemed like almost every human was either high or drunk at some point in their day. And yet somehow, they stayed functioning. It was weird, but it was GREAT!
- The people. The creation of the Galactic Confederation had gone a long way towards getting rid of the galaxy's animosity towards the asari, and now everyone was nice to her.
- The culture. It was so, so diverse! She'd done a backpacking trip across the USA and had stayed in 23 different communes!
- And the best part of all-
With absolutely perfect timing, the Maiden Anthem started playing and she got ready to scream the lyrics.
"People try to put us down..."
"TALKIN 'BOUT MY GENERATION!" Deren screamed at the top of her lungs.
Earth was SO MUCH FUCKING FUN!
