One-Shot: A Multiuniversal Afterlife Reunion
"Teyi! It's about goddamn time you died!"
"MARK! NUTRA!"
She rushed towards her friends she had last seen centuries ago as they shared a long-overdue embrace.

"The Multiuniversal Afterlife, if you want to get all official," Mark replied. "Every reality ever conceived of. It's hard to wrap your head around."
He paused.
"And...well, there's plenty of alternative universes that went worse than ours."
"What do you mean?"

And so Teyi learned of the many different worlds where the Mass Effect existed.
She learned of one where the humans became Reapers and took on the galaxy in revenge.
She learned of one where the Reapers willingly underwent Synthesis with organics, and fired a Synthetic Crucible for all eternity.
She learned of one where a single quarian used a supernatural Death Note to bring the entire galaxy under the heel of the Quarian Empire.
She learned of one where all synthetics had been destroyed when the Crucible fired.
And of course, she learned of many, many worlds where the Reapers had defeated their cycle.
She was very grateful to be the from the reality she was from.
