This is the 26th chapter. I don't own the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Feeling Pinkie Keen

One day, Twilight, Mario, and Comet were outside taking turns learning and refining some of their magic. For the moment, it was Spike's turn to be the target as he had some rock on the top of his head, leaves around his neck, and holding a stick.

"Tuh! Nuh! Uh! Nyuh!" Twilight grunted as she used her magic several times to change Spike into various outfits, finally settling on a tuxedo. Then, she noticed that Spike seemed a little distracted. "Eyes over here, Spike!"

"Uh, sorry." Spike said.

Twilight then turned the twig he was holding into a cane.

"For this to work, it's crucial we keep our concentration totally on the-"

"Ooh!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, which cut off Twilight's explanation and concentration as the rock she had transformed into a top hat turns back into a rock and clocked Spike in the head.

"Nyuh!" Spike yelped as he tumbled over.

"Spike!" Twilight scolded. "This magic needs our full attention to make it happen. There's no other way."

"I can't help it!" Spike protested. "Look!"

Mario, Comet, and Twilight noticed that Pinkie Pie was darting around frantically with an umbrella hat on her head. She looked rather intimidated and nervous.

"Wonder what's got her all wound up." Mario pondered. "I haven't seen a pony that on edge since final exams last semester."

"Oh, hush you." Twilight said, not wanting to admit he had been referring to her.

"Was she always like that?" Comet asks curiously.

"Oh yeah." Mario nods with a mischievous smirk. "This happens to your mother many times during magic school when she's your age. Twilight was on edge she-"

"Okay, that's enough." Twilight protests, not wanted her son to know about it as she watched Pinkie Pie. "Ugh, never mind her. She's just being Pinkie Pie."

"Super-extra Pinkie Pie today." Spike remarked.

"Plus super extra random." Mario added.

Then, they heard some rather eerie music as Pinkie Pie's tail looked like it was...twitching.

"Hmm...Twitchy, twitcha-twitcha, twitch." Pinkie Pie said aloud.

Mario Star just looked stunned before rolling his eyes.

"That is just the strangest thing I have ever heard of." Mario said.

Spike, Comet, and Twilight agreed with him before they all approached Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked curiously. "What in the wide, wide world of Equestria are you up to?"

"Oh! It's my tail! It's my tail! It's a-twitch a-twitchin'!" Pinkie Pie answered. "And you what that means."

"Actually, Pinkie, I haven't the slightest idea." Twilight said.

"Maybe something tingling inside of her?" Comet guessed in confusion.

"My best guess is that somepony said you were gonna have bad luck today and believed them." Mario suggested sarcastically before he smirked. "Or one of Fluttershy's chickens is claiming the sky is falling."

Twilight and Comet giggled lightly at the second answer.

"The twitchin' means my Pinkie Sense is telling me that stuff's gonna start falling!" Pinkie Pie answered. "You three should better duck and cover."

"Oh, Pinkie, it's not gonna rain." Twilight said as Mario and Comet began to search his surroundings.

As Twilight continued to speak, both Mario and Comet gasped and covered their heads with their fore-hooves.

"Umm...Twilight..."

"Why, there's barely a cloud in the-UGH!"

Twilight was then cut off when a frog smacked right on her nose. Twilight's eyes were startled as she and the frog just stared at each other from close range. The frog simply croaked.

"He just said 'nice catch' in frog." Pinkie Pie told her.

Poor Twilight was too shocked to answer as the frog croaked in reply.

My Little Pony, My Little Pony

Ahhhh

My Little Pony

I use to wonder what friendship could be

My Little Pony

Until you all share this magic with me

Big adventure,

Tons of fun,

A beautiful heart,

Faithful and strong,

Sharing kindness

It's an easy feat

And magic makes it all complete

You all have my little ponies

Do you know all you're my best friends?

Twilight still hadn't moved as the frog continued to hop and move around her head.

"Oh, I'm so, so sorry." The voice of Fluttershy said from above.

Everypony looked up to se Fluttershy and Winter Breeze, flying above carrying a large number of frogs in a giant wooden crate, her saddlebags, and a basket.

"You okay, Twilight Sparkle?" Fluttershy asks.

"What are you two doing with those frogs?" Comet asks curiously. "And why so many?"

"The pond is being overpopulated by frogs, with them around and hopping around in the pond and not enough room, I'm helping mom carrying them to fly over to Froggy Bottom Bog." Winter Breeze explains.

"Of course you did." Twilight said with annoyance.

"That wouldn't happen to be at the Everfree Forest, right?" Comet asks again with his raised eyebrow.

"Yes." Fluttershy answered with a nod.

"Fluttershy, if you needed help moving all the frogs, why didn't you come ask me to help?" Mario asked her curiously.

"Oh...I...I didn't want to intrude, you seemed pretty busy..." Fluttershy answered.

"I'm never too busy to help a friend." Mario said. "Do you need my help?"

"We'll be fine, but thank you so much for asking." Fluttershy answered. "I think Twilight wants us to go. Bye-bye!"

Fluttershy's goodbye was slightly muffled as she and her daughter flew away while the lone frog continued to move around her head.

"Um...Twilight?" Pinkie Pie called her. "You got a little something on your face there."

"Oh, really?" Twilight remarked with annoyance. "Did your Pinkie Sense tell you that, too?"

"Nah, I could just see it." Pinkie Pie said before walking away singing. "La-la-la-la-la..."

That was when the frog finally hopped off of Twilight's face.

"Come on, Spike, Mario, and Comet. Let's continue our practice session where there's a little commotion." Twilight suggested.

"Wow! That was amazing!" Spike said as he climbed into Twilight's back. "Pinkie Pie predicted something would fall, and it did!"

"You've gotta be kidding..." Mario said, exasperated while Comet rolled his eyes.

"Oh, come on." Twilight retorted. "She said that something would fall, and a frog just happened to fall right around the same time. A coincidence, nothing else to it."

"Besides, Spike, Mario and I saw Fluttershy and Winter flying above us when Pinkie said that and the fact she was overloaded with frogs." Comet said. "One falling was bound to happen."

"If you saw the frog about to fall, why didn't you warn me?" Twilight asked.

"You're too busy trying to reason with Pinkie. And one thing I've learned from Mario is that, you never listen." Comet answered.

Twilight then turns to Mario with a glare, who let out an innocent whistle.

"Well after this is over, him and I are gonna have a chat." Twilight told him. "And I'm still working on it."

Mario and Comet just rolled their eyes. It was until Pinkie Pie returned.

"My Tail! My Tail!" Pinkie Pie called out. "Twitch-a-twitch! Twitch-a-twitch! Something else is gonna fall!"

Spike tensed up and began to search around. Mario and Comet just looked around as well, but Twilight just kept walking forward without care.

"Oh, Pinkie, please." Twilight said. "Nothing else is gonna fa-AAHHH!"

Twilight hadn't been watching where she was going and was about to fall with Comet used his magic to stop her from falling, pulling her mother away from the ditch. Mario noticed that his godson used his magic to prevent Twilight from falling.

"Oh no, Twilight was about to fall!" Spike said in panic.

"Only because she's not watching where she was going." Comet told him. "Mom was about to fall off from the ditch."

Twilight then turns around and noticed a ditch, chuckled with a blush.

"Is it safe?" Spike asks.

"Are you kidding me?" Mario said with annoyance. "Even if something else was gonna fall, I'm not gonna let Twilight just be out in harm's way!"

"In any case, thanks, sweetie." Twilight thanked her son, kissed Comet in the forehead.

"It's okay, my tail stopped twitching." Pinkie Pie said to Spike, who ignored Chase and was waiting for her answer. She then walked away. "La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la..."

"Ha ha! That was amazing!" Spike said as Comet and Mario rolled their eyes with annoyance.

"Um, Twilight?" Applejack asked as she arrived. "Is everythin' alright?"

"Oh, Pinkie Pie predicted it." Spike said excitedly, causing Twilight, Mario, and Comet rolled their eyes in annoyance.

"Honestly, Spike, she did not." Twilight said as she shook her head. "Two coincidences like this may be unlikely, but it's still easier to believe then twitchy tails that predict the future."

That got Applejack froze and gasp in fright.

"Twitchy tail? Pinkie Sense?" Applejack spluttered as she nervously ducked under the vegetable food cart.

"Don't worry, it's safe. Prediction already came true." Spike said when Applejack breathed a sigh of relief as she crawled out from under the table.

"Oh, wait, don't tell me you believe in this stuff, too?" Twilight asks in disbelief.

"Here we go again." Mario muttered, remembered the outlandish rumors about Zecora.

"I know it doesn't make sense, but those of us who have been in Ponyville a while, have learned over time that, if Pinkie's a twitchin', you better listen."

"And your proof of this is..." Mario asked skeptically.

"I know plenty of ponies who have seen Pinkie Sense in action." Applejack retorted. "It's quirky, but accurate. So, quit doubting my words before Ah splatter you with poison joke since Comet took it from me!"

SMACK!

Applejack's head quickly whipped to the back, and rubbed her head with a groan. Applejack chuckled nervously since Mario was not amused.

"How about I use it on you to keep your mouth shut." Mario proposed sternly, causing Applejack to step back a bit with fear.

Pinkie Pie then came back again.

"My ears are flopping! My ears are flopping!" Pinkie Pie cried out.

"Nyuh! What does that mean?!" Spike asked nervously when Pinkie Pie looked at Twilight, Mario, and Comet.

"I'll start a bath for you." Pinkie Pie answered.

"Huh?" Twilight said with a chuckle. "A bath? This thing keeps getting more ridiculous by the minute!"

As Twilight spoke, both Mario and Comet looked around to see what could cause them to need a bath. It was then they noticed a pony with a cart walked by quickly and made a mud puddle right behind them. Then, Mario and Comet jumped out of the way as the mud came at them.

Mario and Comet avoided the mud, but Twilight was drenched. Twilight just grumbled to herself before allowing Pinkie Pie to escort her to Sugarcube Corner.

Twilight just enjoyed her bubble bath as Mario and Comet waited downstairs for both girls. They learned that Rose Lotus and Djali left to school early since he's only got an hour before class starts. Twilight then popped out of the water to blow the bubbles. Pinkie Pie was sitting nearby.

"Sooo, basically, it works like this." Pinkie Pie explains. "I get different, little, niggly feelings and they mean different things. Like, when my back is itchy, it means it's my lucky day. And when my knee gets pinchy, that means something scary is about to happen."

"Is your knee pinchy now?" Twilight asked.

"No, but my shoulder's achy." Pinkie Pie answered. "That means that there's an alligator in the tub."

Pinkie Pie ducked her head into the bathtub and pulled out a baby gator from the water.

"AAAH!" Twilight screamed as she stood on the edge of the bathtub in fright.

"How come your knee didn't get pinchy?" Twilight asked as she continued to stand at the edge of the tub. "That isn't just scary, it's downright dangerous!"

"No, it's not, silly!" Pinkie Pie answered with a chuckle. "This is my pet alligator, Gummy. He's got no teeth. See?"

Pinkie Pie laughed as Gummy tried biting her mane and tail several times, but all it did was just tickle her.

"Okay, okay...I get it." Twilight said in annoyance, but didn't feel safe getting back into the bubble bath anymore.

Once Twilight was finished, both Mario and Comet joined her and Pinkie Pie outside just as they continued their discussion.

"Well, I still don't believe in all this...'special power' stuff." Twilight said. "It's just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo."

"What's not to believe?" Pinkie Pie asked with indignant look.

"Because you're a complete airhead and a big bonehead?" Mario guessed with annoyance.

Pinkie Pie glared at him and was offended by that before recomposing herself.

"To answer your question, Pinkie, it's huge." Twilight answered as she raced over towards a cardboard crate. She then stood on it and cleared her throat. "For one thing, magic is something you study and practice. It only happens when you decide to do it, and it's meant to make something specific you choose to happen, happen. With you, uh, it makes no sense at all!"

"She's right." Mario added. "I can see how twitches and flicks can signal different things and I do know that certain ponies can be born with an added sense that can detect danger, but...your Pinkie Sense is still too random for me to fully accept it."

"Even the spirits of nature around us were willing to help us if we listen to our heart, and go wherever the path takes us." Comet added. "My old father even taught me to listen to the spirits, including the spirits of my ancestors. However, Pinkie, your own Pinkie Sense is just too hard to accept."

Neither Mario nor Comet didn't want to outright say they rejected the Pinkie Sense. They just wanted to learn more about it, but Pinkie Pie still took their lack of acceptance personally.

"That's so not true, Twilight, Mario, and Comet!" Pinkie Pie said. "Sometimes it's a bunch of random things happening to my body at random times that supposedly predict the future. I call 'em 'combos'."

"Combos?" Twilight repeats.

"You know, like when I use my fighting skills in new ways than one." Mario points out.

"I know what a combo is." Twilight told him.

"Sure!" Pinkie Pie answered. "You know like, ear flop, then knee twitch, then eye flutter. That means the sky is about to be graced with a beautiful rainbow!"

"Yeah, sure." Twilight said.

"Uh-oh, I feel a combo coming on." Pinkie Pie said. "Ear flop, eye flutter, knee twitch!"

CRASH!

Twilight was walking right in front of the door to the library when Spike roughly slammed the door open, smashing her into it. He was apparently carrying come stack of books, making the sound of a beeping truck backing up as he walked away. Then the door closed on its own, where Twilight was still flattened against the door.

"Ughhh...You said that combo means beautiful rainbows!" Twilight protests wearily.

"Oh-no-no-no-no-no!" Pinkie Pie said. "You're thinking of an ear flop, then knee twitch, then eye flutter. That was an ear flop, then eye flutter, then knee twitch. That usually means 'look out for opening doors'. You okay?"

"I don't believe this." Twilight said in irritation as she stood.

"You don't believe because you don't understand." Pinkie Pie remarked as she got into Twilight's face.

"Hmm..." Twilight pondered to herself.

Soon Twilight, Comet, and Mario guided Pinkie Pie to an underground room of the Golden Oak Library. It was here that Mario and Twilight conducted more technical and potentially dangerous magic spells and experiments. It was fortunate to say neither of them had suffered an accident in years. For the moment, a metallic dome-shaped helmet was set on Pinkie Pie's head that lights on it. She was also shackled into place as well by the fore-hooves as Twilight got the machine and a device that resembled a seismograph ready. Mario was standing by to take further notes and provide assistance while Comet stays on the sideline.

"Okay." Twilight said as she hooked up several wires to the machine. "Now when you get another twitch, we'll have all kinds of scientific information."

"Okie-dokie-lokie." Pinkie Pie replied as the machines began to steam stack whistle about.

Mario and Twilight waited impatiently for some results while Comet decided to take a nap since it won't get them anywhere.

"Any twitches yet?" Twilight asked curiously.

"Nopey-dopey!" Pinkie Pie answered.

"Now? Anything?" Twilight asked not too long afterwards.

"Wait! Hold on!" Pinkie Pie said anxiously before she went back to looking neutral. "Uhh, no."

"Are you kidding me?!" Twilight said in frustration. "After a whole day on non-stop twitching, now that I've got you hooked up, you're not getting a single one?"

"Ironic." Mario muttered.

"I don't control it, they just come and go." Pinkie Pie said.

"Kind of like an instinct?" Mario asked curiously.

"Mario, we ponies don't rely on instincts anymore!" Twilight replied. "We rely on facts and logic and reasoning. Instincts? That makes no sense!"

"Sometimes you just have to believe in things, even when you can't figure them out." Pinkie Pie answered.

"Right." Mario said, not convinced, making Pinkie Pie shoot him a dirty look before recomposing herself.

"Oh brother." Twilight said before rushing up to Pinkie Pie's face. "I will not believe in anything I cannot explain."

"Well, that sounds a little cynical." Mario said.

"Wait, hold on." Pinkie Pie said before Twilight could retort. "I'm feeling something..."

"Oh my gosh." Twilight said excitedly. "What? What is it?!"

There was a short silence before they heard a loud rumble from Pinkie Pie and Comet's stomach which it got him woke up.

"It's my tummy!" Pinkie Pie said. "That usually means I'm hungry. Let's eat!"

"That's done." Mario said, tossing his empty notebook behind him.

"URGH!" Twilight grunted angrily as she used her teeth to rip out the cables to Pinkie Pie's helmet and shut the machines down. "You know what? Just forget it. I don't neet to know it this is real or not! I don't need to understand it! I don't even care!"

"Okie-dokie-lokie." Pinkie Pie said as she easily pulled her fore-hooves out of the shackles and bounced past the frustrated Twilight, Mario, and Comet and up the stairs. Then, Pinkie Pie gasped. "Uh-oh!"

Pinkie Pie then twitched and tumbled onto her back. Mario and Comet saw that she had an ear flop, eye flutter, and knee twitch. They soon saw Twilight nearing the door.

"Twilight/Mom, look out!" Mario and Comet called out. Twilight looked back when...

SMASH!

Spike slammed the door on her.

"Pinkie? Have you seen Twilight?" Spike asked curiously.

"Uh-huh." Pinkie Pie said casually and bounced her way out of the room.

The door then closed on its own, showing Twilight was now pasted on the door.

"Twilight? What are you doing back there?" Spike asked curiously.

"Are you okay?" Mario asked with worry as he and Comet glared at Spike.

"Rrrrgh...Did you two plan this?" Twilight asked in annoyance.

"Plan what?" Spike asked which his tone pretty much answers the question.

SMACK!"

"OW!" Spike yelped before he glared at Mario and Comet angrily as the two boys glared at him while rubbing the back of his head. "Why do you keep doing that?!"

"Would you like to list your alphabetical or descending order of polite?" Mario asked sternly, making Spike cower from him in fear as Twilight peeled off the door and landed on the floor with a plop.

"Urgh! This is ridiculous." Twilight said. "This can't be happening. This makes no sense. I have to figure this out."

"Couldn't we just declare today is just a bad day and give it a rest?" Mario asked, not wanting to do this anymore.

Twilight just smiled, but not the cheerful smile. It was a 'what do you think I'm gonna say, Mario' face. Mario just groaned as he knew this will never end and slapping his hoof to his face in annoyance.

It wasn't long before Fluttershy and Winter Breeze were at the Froggy Bottom Bog when one of the frogs point at the spot as they descend down to the bog. At Ponyville, Mario and Twilight had collected a nearby bush and were using it to camouflage themselves. They both had on some jungle safari pith hats as they peeked out of the bush to watch Pinkie Pie bounce around in the park.

"Mmm..." Pinkie Pie giggled as she sniffed the flower and continued to giggle.

Twilight began to jot down some notes as Mario just look very unamused.

"Twilight/Mom?"

"Ah!"

Twilight and Mario jumped when they saw that it was Spike and Comet standing next to the bush.

"Whoa-oh-uh!" Spike yelped when he and Comet were being tugged into the bush by Twilight and Mario.

"Honestly, you two." Twilight snapped. "Don't you know better than to sneak up on ponies?"

"We're not the ones who're stalking on Pinkie with the jungle hats." Comet retorted with a glare. "Mom, stalking on somepony is just rude and wrong.'

"He got you there, Twilight." Mario said with a snicker.

Twilight just glared at Mario and her son.

"Anyway, isn't that what you're doing?" Spike asked as he and Comet stood just outside the bush.

Twilight then gasped when she suddenly pounced on Spike, knocking the baby dragon to his back.

"No!" Twilight retorted quickly. "We're doing some research. I'm observing Pinkie Pie, scientific name: Pinkius Pieicus, in its natural habit."

"That's not even a word." Comet said indignantly.

"Pinkius-whoicus?" Spike asked as he stood between Twilight and Mario.

"Wouldn't rosea mannulus, be more accurate?" Mario asked sarcastically.

Twilight said nothing as she turned head to talk to Spike and Comet.

"There's something fishy going on with the whole twitchy thing and I'm getting to the bottom of it. So, shh." Twilight said, then turns to Comet. "And when this is over, you and I are gonna have a little talk about your attitude."

Comet just rolled his eyes in annoyance while Mario had just gestured that Pinkie Pie was leaving the park.

"Come on." Twilight said to Spike, Mario, and Comet. "Pinkius Pieicus is on the move."

Mario and Twilight each held a bush and went on their way. Spike offered to help, but since the two ponies held the bush high up, he was literally walking on thin air as they carried the bush and followed Pinkie Pie. Comet however, wants no part of his mother's silly shenanigans as he used his teleport magic to teleport out of the bush and made his way to school.

It wasn't long when Comet made it to school since he arrived just in time for class and given Zane and Cheerilee an explanation. Pinkie Pie was at the school playground, rolling around the grass and enjoying herself as she hummed. Then she stopped and started to rub her nose a bit.

"Hm...Itchy nose..." Twilight said.

"That's new." Mario states. "At least for being a Pinkie twitch...if it is one."

Pinkie Pie then gasped and ducked nervously under a metal horseshoe.

"Aha!" Twilight said to Spike, who was also writing down the notes. "That makes no sense. See? She's hiding like something's about to fall from the sky, but a twitchy tail means something's gonna fall from the sky, not an itchy nose."

Pinkie Pie continued to stare at the sky nervously. Spike and Mario looked up as Twilight spoke. Then, they heard some theremin music and the sound of a large swarm buzzing overheard.

"This proves..." Twilight continued, completely clueless about the swarm.

"GASP!" Spike said in dread.

"Um, Twilight?" Mario said to her, but she didn't hear them.

"...perhaps conclusively, that-"

"Gah!" Spike yelped and run away from the bush.

"Spike! Where are you going?" Twilight called out. "I'm trying to teach you the value of scientific-Hey, Mario! Where are you going?!"

"Away from that!" Mario said as he jumped out of the way.

"Ow! Ouch! Ow! Yeow! Ow! Ow! Ow!"

Too late, the swarm had seen Twilight and surrounded the bush for the attack. The swarm of bees stung her to their heart's content, making her whimper in pain. Comet and his friends watch her get stung which it got the unicorn colt shook his head with unamused and disappointment.

A little while later, Mario and Twilight, with her covered in bandages, were observing Pinkie Pie as she walked around the open fields at Sweet Apple Acres.

"What's she doing now?" Spike asked curiously with his notepad at hand.

Mario just watched Pinkie Pie sniffing flowers.

"Smelling a flower." Twilight and Mario said plainly.

"Holy guacamole!" Spike exclaimed as he dropped his notepad. "I wonder what that means?"

"Probably that the flower smells good." Twilight answered and Mario nodded in agreement until they noticed Pinkie Pie was twitching again.

"Wait, I'm getting something." Twilight said. "Ear flop, eye flutter, knee twitch."

"Hold on...You told me that's the combo that says 'watch out for opening doors'?!" Spike exclaimed as he dashed away from the barn door and hid behind some of the hay stacks.

"Oh-ho. You really, really believe this stuff, don't you?" Twilight teased. "Here, let me show you there's nothing to be afraid of."

Twilight walked in front of the barn door. Since the top half was already open, Mario just wouldn't take part of it since he thought Pinkie Pie was just a clueless pony.

"You see?" Twilight points out as she started to walk away from the door.

As if fate just had it in for her, a door opened from the ground and Mario looked stunned.

"I promise you, there's nothing to be fear from that-Who-o-ah!"

Twilight continued to say to Spike, but she fell through the opening.

"OW! UGH! OW! OW!"

Twilight yelped as she tumbled down a set of wooden stairs and landed hard at the bottom. Mario came to the opening and saw her lying on the ground.

"Twilight! Mario! You came to visit mah new apple celler, how nice." Applejack said cheerfully until she saw Twilight in pain. "Twi? Are you okay? Uh, Twi?"

Mario sighed before he came to revive her again.

It was a little while later, both Mario and Twilight were back on the pursuit again. That last injury did a number on her. Twilight was trying to use her bandaged fore-hooves to lift her binoculars, but her injuries prevented her from doing so.

"Here, let me help you." Spike said as he cranks the lever a bit to pull a rope, helping her lift the binoculars.

"Okay, take this down." Twilight instructed both Spike and Mario. "Twitchy tail."

"Twitchy tail?" Spike said and gasped frantically. "TWITCHY TAIL!?"

Spike let go of the lever, making Twilight's fore-hooves painfully smack the top of a bench.

"Hush, Spike! We can't let Pinkie know we're here, remember!" Twilight reminded him sternly.

Mario saw something and gasped before running off.

"Something's gonna fall, something's gonna fall!" Spike said in a full panic. "Run for your lives! Ah-ha-ha!"

Spike then took off to catch up with Mario, leaving Twilight behind.

"Ugh, Spike honestly, you're overreact-"

CRACK!

A flower pot landed on Twilight' head.

CLANG!

Twilight then got an anvil to the head.

SMASH!

It was then a large wagon loaded with hay crashed into her.

CRASH!

A piano dropped on her as well.

"Ugh..." Twilight groaned.

Mario just watched in a concern look before approaching her.

"You know, I'm starting to get worried about you." Mario said with worry. "Listen, Twilight. Why don't we just take you back home so you can forget any of this ever happened. Okay?"

Up in the sky, a stallion Pegasus gave his employees a death glare. Ditzy Doo was the first to smile apologetically and the other pegasi followed. They were the ones who had accidentally dropped their deliveries on Twilight.

Later on, Pinkie Pie was back to humming cheerfully to the park when Applejack, Comet, and Apple Shine arrived. Of course, the school was already over.

"Hey Applejack, hey Apple Shine." Pinkie Pie said. "Whatcha doing?"

"Takin' more apples to mah new apple celler." Applejack answered, showing Pinkie Pie a huge basket of apples. "How 'bout you Pinkie Pie? Watcha doin'?"

"Oh, letting Twilight and Mario secretly follow me all day without knowing." Pinkie Pie said simply.

"You mean you knew all along?!" Twilight demanded angrily and Mario gave her a death glare of his own.

It had taken Mario's magic to revive Twilight back on her hooves. While her physical injuries had recovered thanks to Mario, she still had her bandages on her fore-hooves and her mane, fur, and dark circles around one eye showed that she had been through alot today. But Mario was among those who didn't get hurt.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Mario demanded angrily.

"Silly." Pinkie Pie said. "That would have spoiled the secret."

SLAP!

"OWW!" Pinkie Pie yelped as she rubbed her sore head as Mario gave her a death glare, causing her to look very frightened.

"You shouldn't have done that." Comet quietly muttered.

"Pinkie, when this is over, you and I are gonna have a chat about your so-called 'Pinkie Sense'." Mario said in a low tone that made Pinkie Pie's spine shivered in fear.

Even Applejack was scared by this. Comet and Apple Shine were already aware of him being annoyed and angry.

"Urgh!" Twilight's jaw open and closed as one of her eyes twitched and her body trembled angrily.

"Let me guess, Mom still tried to figure out about Pinkie and getting hurt?" Comet inquires with his raised eyebrow.

Mario only responds with a nod while looked at her.

"Easy, easy." Mario said gently, getting Twilight to settle down for a bit.

Spike still seemed a bit on edge.

"Tail...still twitching?" Spike asked, causing Comet to roll his eyes a bit.

"All done." Pinkie Pie answered. "Clear skies from here on in, as far as I can tell-hu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu!"

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie's entire body began to twitch and shudder violently.

"Okay, that makes me even me feel uneasy." Mario said, uneasy.

Comet then noticed a hawk spirit at the tree which it's tell him something.

"Oh no! What does that even mean?" Spike asked nervously.

"Dunno, never gotten anything like it before." Pinkie Pie answered. "But whatever that shudder is about it's a doozy. Something you'd never expect to happen is gonna happen! Hu-bu-bu-bu-bu Hu-bu-bu-bu-bu! And it's gonna happen...at Froggy Bottom Bog!"

Spike looked rather nervous as Twilight just looked bored.

"Phew, that's a relief." Mario said and everypony looked at him.

"No, it's not." Comet shook his head. "There's a dangerous creature lurking at Froggy Bottom Bog."

That got them gasp in shock.

"W-What creature and how dangerous are we takin' 'bout?" Applejack asks.

"A Hydra." Comet answered. "And the hawk spirit warned me that both Fluttershy and Winter Breeze are in danger."

Applejack then gasped when she realized something.

"That's where Fluttershy and Winter headed!" Applejack exclaims.

"Oh no!" Spike remarked with worry. "Is it about her?"

"Uh, I'm not sure." Pinkie Pie answered.

"We don't have time for second guessin'. We better hurry and get to 'em." Applejack suggested.

"Calm down, everypony." Twilight said. "All we know is that a spirit is trying to scare us, and that Pinkie Pie just got a case of shivers. That's all."

Pinkie Pie glared, but Mario felt something was off. The hawk spirit however flew towards Twilight and peck her right on the head.

"OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!" Twilight yelped while the hawk spirit repeatedly pecking her head.

"Poor word choices, Mom." Comet told her.

"And it shutters, Twilight. Big difference." Mario added as they soon make their way towards the bog.

"Guh-Hey!" Spike yelped as he felt Twilight scoop him up into her back. "I thought you don't believe in this stuff!?"

"I don't!" Twilight retorted. "I just want to be there to see the look on Pinkie's face when we find out nothing is wrong."

"Okie-dokie!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Twilight, stop!" Mario said as he stood in front of her. "I'd rather let you stay here and not end up in the hospital again."

"Step aside, Mario." Twilight demands with a glare.

"No! This time I'm putting my hoof down!" Mario said sternly. "Enough!"

Twilight just glared until she just smiled.

"Mario, have I ever told you how much I like your name?" Twilight asked sweetly. "It's very cute."

Spike just made a face behind her. But...

Mario used the earth element to bury Twilight, leaving nothing but her head above the ground which Spike managed to jump out of the way.

"It's for your own good, Twilight." Mario told her as Spike got on to his back and catches up with the others.

Twilight tried to get out of the ground, but she was left restrained. Twilight used her magic to teleport herself out of the hole and catches up to them.

'Don't think that I'm gonna sit by and let Pinkie Pie get away.' Twilight thought.

For the moment, Fluttershy and Winter Breeze was just casually helping the frogs exit the cart and settle down in the bog as the rest of the ponies were slowly making their way towards them. Twilight however, managed to keep up which Mario wasn't very happy about it, and it left them no other options but have her tag along.

Pinkie Pie started to vibrate again.

"Hu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu!" Pinkie Pie stuttered.

"Cold?" Twilight asked smugly. "Need a jacket or something?"

"No thanks, I'm fine." Pinkie Pie said, but then stuttered again. "Hu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu!"

"So...whadda'ya think happened to Fluttershy and Winter?" Spike asked with worry.

"I hope nothin'." Applejack said, trying to keep her face from showing any worry or concern.

"I know, but whadda'ya think happened?" Spike asked.

"Ah'm tryin' not to think about it." Applejack said bluntly.

"Me too!" Spike said bravely, but could feel his worry return. "But I'm thinking about it anyway. Like, what if she exploded?"

"Just exploded?" Apple Shine asked, puzzled. "Fer no reason?"

"Yeah, like-"

"Spike, two things, okay?" Comet suggests, using his magic to shut Spike's mouth. "Shut. Up. And quit overexaggerating while you're at it. Listening to you and Pinkie Pie shudder isn't getting anywhere."

Spike and Pinkie Pie gave Comet Stardust a glare, but knows that he made a valid point.

"Tell me somethin' Comet, how did you know 'bout the Hydra?" Applejack asks curiously.

"Hyrda's are part of the Greek mythology in mine and Apple Shine's world. Hydra is well-known to have many heads and regenerate a new head, but only grows back twice." Comet explains. "It's also based on the literature."

"Does anypony fought that monster?" Mario asks.

"Hercules." Comet and Apple Shine answered with a nod.

"Who's he?" Applejack asks.

"Hercules is one of the heroes in Greek mythology and a demigod, he's also the son of Zeus." Apple Shine answered. "Legend says that Hercules killed a Nemean Lion with his bare hands, and he wore that pelt as a cloak to demonstrate his power over the opponent he defeated."

"And Hercules had help and defeat the Hydra with arrows dipped in poisoned blood." Comet adds.

Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Mario, and Spike were shocked of their explanation about the Hydra and how it was slayed by a Greek demigod, Hercules.

"Well, since we don't have what that Hercules feller had, we better hope Fluttershy and Winter are alright." Applejack suggests while Mario, Comet, and Apple Shine nods with an agreement as they forged ahead.

"Look! There's Froggy Bottom Bog!" Applejack said as they heard a buzzing of a dragonfly.

"Fluttershy? Winter?" Applejack called them once she saw two Pegasi in the distance, looking for them.

"Fluttershy? Winter?" Pinkie Pie called her while she, Twilight, Comet, Apple Shine, Mario, and Spike searched for the two.

Pinkie Pie then looks down at the bog, but Spike lands on the top of her head and noticed the two Pegasi.

"Fluttershy! Winter!" Spike called out as he hopped onto her back and hugged her. "You're okay!"

"Of course." Fluttershy answered calmly.

"Why wouldn't we?" Winter Breeze asks.

"Phew, what a relief." Applejack said.

"For the moment, but not for long." Comet told them. "We need to get out of here before-"

"Sorry, I know it's not nice to gloat, but..." Twilight interrupted.

"And yet you're going to." Mario remarked with his eyes rolled. Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Apple Shine glared as well. Even Comet gives his mother a stink eye look.

"...Aha!" Twilight declared proudly. "I told you there was nothing to worry about, and I was right. Pinkie said whatever she was shuddering about was a (COUGH) doozy, and (COUGH) the only (COUGH) doozy here is how right I am."

While Twilight was bragging, some fog mist began to rise from the bog, making breathing a bit difficult and then something began to rise behind her.

Mario and the other gasped with shock.

'Um...Twilight?" Applejack said with a fearful tone.

"Pinkie's made a lot of predictions today, but (COUGH) ugh, what is that smell?" Twilight said, realized all of the mist and a stinky smell on the air. "But we've shown here is that there's no point in believing (COUGH) in anything you can't see for yourself."

The rising creature turned out to be a hydra which was a creature with for heads on its body. Everyone, except Mario and Comet, was quivering fearfully at that sight. Mario and Comet glared at that creature.

"W-Well t-then, s-see what's b-b-behind you, Twilight!" Spike said fearfully.

That was when the hydra growled and Twilight slowly turned around.

"I see it...but I don't believe it!" Twilight said in shock as the hydra gave a loud roar.

"What more proof do you need?! Visiting the inside of its stomach?!" Mario called out as he stood next to her.

"I tried to warn you, but you just didn't take that for granted!" Comet adds.

"Is that a Hydra?!" Pinkie Pie asked in shock.

"What else would it be?! Didn't yah even listen of what we're tellin' ya?" Apple Shine shouts with annoyance.

"Who cares? Run!" Applejack called out as the ponies all screamed and run for their lives, except Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie was so frightened, she couldn't laugh her fear away or even move. All she could do was whimper.

"Pinkie! Come on!" Twilight called out before grabbing her tail and pulled her away just in time as the hydra tried to snatch her and barely missed.

"Ooph!" Pinkie Pie panted as she went airborne from the pull as everypony else made a run for it. Fluttershy noticed a frog running for its life as well.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." Fluttershy said to the frog as three of the four heads tried to attack. It got her yelped as the hydra missed.

Two other heads tried to attack Pinkie Pie and Applejack, but they missed too. The single hydra head that hadn't attacked laughed at the other three as they continue the pursuit. Soon the ponies reached a steep ledge that only Mario could successfully jump up to and quickly looked around for an escape route.

"Everypony up that hill!" Twilight commended and they were about to leave when...

"He-e-lp!"

Spike got caught in some swamp muck and was trapped as the hydra was inches closer to him.

"Spike!" Mario called out and was about to go get him, but Twilight had already taken off.

"Coming Spike! Hang on!" Twilight called out.

Twilight grabbed Spike just in time as the hydra attacked. The ponies then made their way up the hill when Mario noticed that the hydra tried to follow, but had gotten its foot stuck in the muck. Mario growled at the creature before he lit his horn and made his hoofs glow as his auric hands appeared as he conjured a hammer in a defensive position.

"Everypony, get up to the hill and find a safe place." Mario suggested. "I'm going to try and stall it!"

"Mario, no!" Twilight called out.

"Just go, now!" Mario urged them.

They were about to argue, but he made up his mind as they ran off to get to safety.

Mario got on the offense and charged after the hydra as it tried to attack, but he dodged it before he jumped up in the air. He bashed the head with his hammer and then he kicked the hydra three times as it roared in pain while Mario jumped away. The hydra growled at Mario as he didn't look scared, raised his hammer. Mario then slams the hammer down to the ground, creating a shockwave as the fissures cracked right down to the hydra's feet. The hydra stumbled down to the ground and collapsed with a grunt. Mario smirked with satisfaction before he made his escape. He eventually met up with the others once they were in a safe distance.

They were impressed with the skills on the hydra, especially with that earth element.

"Nice work back there, Mario!" Applejack congratulated her brother.

"Awesome work on that earthquake!" Spike added.

"Yeah, nice one, Uncle Mario!" Apple Shine adds.

"Nicely done, Mario." Twilight added as well.

"Thanks, guys." Mario responds with a smile.

Suddenly, a roar was heard, and the hydra was making pursuit once again. Apparently, the hydra was pretty mad.

"Let's get out of here!" Mario called out as they made their way back up the rest of the hill.

"I think we're gonna make it!" Twilight said as they got closer to the top.

"But Pinkie's still shuddering!" Spike points out.

Pinkie Pie's shudders were making it very difficult for her to climb up the hill, but then the shudders stopped.

"Oh, lookie there, it stopped." Pinkie Pie said, but then the shudders began again. "O-h-h-h, t-h-e-r-e i-t i-s a-g-a-i-n!"

Despite her shudders, Spike helped Pinkie Pie get up to the hill. They reached the top of the hill, only to find that it was a dead end. They all gasped when they realized that the only way across was a series of platforms that crossed some bubbly bog water far below them. The hydra was gaining ground quickly.

"Ugh, he'll be up there in no time!" Twilight said to them. "Quick, one at a time, cross!"

"Nyu-uh!" Spike protested, then got an idea as he faced Twilight. "Do you know any spells for turning hydra into a mouse?"

"No!"

"How about a squirrel?"

"No!"

"That's. It!" Comet said, finally run out of patience because of Spike, Pinkie Pie, and his mother, had enough as he faces the hydra while lighting up his horn.

Comet then used his magic to make a sound of a flute.

(Power Rangers Wild Force: Gorillazord OST)

As soon as Comet began to call out the animal spirits, the spirit of a giant gorilla was being called as it arrives to lend aid. The gorilla spirit let out a roar which it got their attention, including the hydra. The giant gorilla spirit let out a roar while banging its chest, ready for a fight when the hydra charges after it. The giant gorilla made its first move by delivering a backhand to the hydra heads while grabbing the beast and tossed it right to the bog.

The giant gorilla spirit shoots beam towards the ground, causing the palm trees to rise and with bananas. The giant gorilla quickly headed towards the tree, climbing up the top of it, grabbing the bananas, and throw it at the hydra which the beast was now in big trouble.

"Go, gorilla! Yeah!" Comet cheered as the giant gorilla spirit starts banging its chest.

The hydra shook the cobwebs when it was about to go after the gorilla, but the giant gorilla lunged after the beast and punched one of its head. The giant gorilla won't give the hydra a moment to breath as it grabbed its tail, spinning around, and tossed the hydra right into the air and out of sight.

"Alright, gorilla spirit, that was great!" Comet cheered again as the gorilla spirit bangs its chest victoriously.

(Music Ends)

After the fight was over, the gorilla spirit gives them a ride at the other side of the slope by leaping while grabbing the slope and extend its free-hand towards it. They then got off and lands on the slope.

"Thanks for the help, gorilla spirit." Comet thanked the gorilla spirit as it vanishes with a smile.

"Wow, Comet, that was amazin'! Ya sure had that gorilla gave that hydra what for." Applejack said with amazement.

"Yeah, that's awesome!" Spike adds.

Comet can only respond with a smile when Mario approaches him.

"You did great Comet, even calling out the spirits of the wild. Wild Heart would be proud of your progression." Mario praised his godson with a smile.

"Well either way, I don't know how it happened, coincidence, dumb luck, or what." Twilight told her. "But you said there'd be a doozy here at Froggy Bottom Bog, and I'd say we just had ourselves one heck of a doozy. I mean that hydra..."

Mario nodded in agreement, but then Pinkie Pie began to shutter again.

"Pinkie?" Twilight asked with worry.

Pinkie Pie's shuttering had become more intense.

"That wasn't it." Pinkie said plainly.

Twilight and Mario looked stunned.

"Huh?" Twilight asked.

"What wasn't what?" Spike asked curiously.

"What are you talkin' about, Pink?" Applejack asked as well.

"The hydra wasn't the doozy." Pinkie Pie remarked, but getting the shutters. "I'm still getting the shutters. Oo-o-oh, Oo-o-oh. You see? There it is again. Whatever the doozy was at Froggy Bottom Bog, my Pinkie Sense says it still hasn't happened."

Mario and Comet groaned while Twilight's eye twitched.

"Huh? But I-WHAT?!" Twilight snapped. "The hydra wasn't the doozy!? How could it not be the doozy?! What could be more doozier than that?!"

"Dunno, but it just wasn't it." Pinkie Pie answered simply.

Twilight could feel her temperature rising. The sound of a kettle whistled loudly as she gritted her teeth. She was ready to blow a fuse when Mario and Comet looked at her, knew she was about to lose it.

"RRRGH!" Twilight growled as she went into the air and her entire body lit up in flames.

Fortunately, Twilight's anger fizzled out and her mane and tail were slightly charred.

"Ooh...I give up..." Twilight conceded before plopping onto the ground with her hind legs resting against a nearby rock.

Despite the circumstances, Mario couldn't help but feel his heart break. It was extremely rare to ever hear Twilight say those three words out loud.

"Give what up, Twi?" Spike asked.

"The fight." Twilight answered in exasperation. "I can't fight it anymore. I don't know how, why, or what, but the Pinkie Sense somehow...make sense. I don't see how it does, but it just does. Just because I don't understand, doesn't mean it's not true."

"Y-Y-Y-You m-m-mean you b-b-b-believe?" Pinkie Pie asked, her body vibrates more than ever.

"Eeyup, I guess I do." Twilight said quietly, clearly worn out.

Pinkie Pie's vibrating and shuttering became even more intense.

"Oo-woo-oo-oo-oo, woo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oh, woo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oh. Ooh!" Pinkie Pie said as her body contorted into various shapes before finally settling down and she gasped. "That was it. That's a doozy."

Twilight, Mario, Comet, and Spike looked stunned. Spike shook his head wildly for a second or two.

"What? What is?" Twilight asked, puzzled.

"You believing." Pinkie Pie answered. "I never expected that to happen. That was a doozy, oh and, oh what a doozy of a doozy it was! La-la-la-la-la..."

The other's just watched stunned as Pinkie Pie just walked away without care of the world. That was until Mario and Comet used their magic and scooped her up before bringing her back as she yelped in surprise as she was faced with the angry boys.

"You and I are still have that talk to deal with, Pinkie Pie. Because as of right now, you are in very big trouble!" Mario scolded her as she gulped with worry.

"Yes sir!" Pinkie Pie squeaked in fear before she took off in a hurry.

"Ugh, what am I going to do with her?" Mario groaned before Twilight kissed him on the cheek as he went stiff.

Then he recomposes himself and looked at Twilight.

"Thanks for the help today, Mario." Twilight said with a smile. "Besides, what I put you through today, I just wanted to say I appreciate you for being such a good friend."

Twilight then turned towards her son, kissed him on the forehead.

"Thanks for saving us, Comet." Twilight said with a smile. "I'm sorry I was being hard on you. I just realize that I was being stubborn to figure out the Pinkie Sense and failed, but I know now that it does make sense because her being Pinkie Pie."

Comet then responds by hugging her mother. Then as Twilight and Comet leaves, Mario endured the cooing of Applejack, Fluttershy, and Winter Breeze while Spike look disgusted. A dazed smile formed on Mario's face.

A week later, Spike was rushing to return back to the Golden Oak Library. Giggling could be heard from the outside as he walked inside.

"Oh good, Spike, you're here." Twilight said. "Take a letter."

"With pleasure, Twilight." Spike said as he walked inside and grabbed a piece of parchment and quill.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I'm very happy to report that-

"Spike, what have I been saying about focus?" Twilight asked, noticed Spike is distracted.

"I know, but I...well..." Spike stuttered.

Spike was surprised to see Twilight wearing an umbrella on her head. Pinkie Pie was there too, wearing her own umbrella hat.

"What's wrong, Spike? Never thought you'd see me with an umbrella hat on?" Twilight asked as she smiled with Pinkie Pie.

"Not really, no." Spike answered.

"Pinkie's tail-a-twitchin." Twilight pointed out as Pinkie Pie's tail was vibrating. "What else could we do?"

It got the two and Spike laughed a bit before he recomposed himself so Twilight could finish the letter.

We are happy to report that we now realize there are wonderful things in this world you just can't explain, but that doesn't necessarily make them any less true. It just means that you have to choose to believe in them and sometimes it takes a friend to show you the way.

"Honk!" Pinkie Pie said as she poked Twilight's nose.

Always your faithful students,

Twilight Sparkle and Mario Star

When Twilight concluded her lesson, she and Pinkie Pie made their way out of the Golden Oak Library as Pinkie Pie's tail twitched again.

"There it does again." Pinkie Pie said.

"I wonder what's gonna drop outta the sky this time?" Twilight wonder as she looked up.

"You never know." Pinkie Pie said, looking up as well.

Just as they continued their way while Spike had opened the window on the second floor to breathe fire on the scroll to send it. He was then interrupted when he heard a sound of a jet engine as Princess Celestia came crashing down on the tree branch.

"Twitchy tail." Spike remarked as Princess Celestia took it and flew away. "Holy guacamole!"

Unknown to any of them, they were secretly being watched by the flames, Watching them were a group of skeleton army and oni. Many of them wanted to go after Mario and kill him, but the leader rises up his throne.

"Silence!" The leader sounds in a demonic tone.

The leader is a tall demon stallion, six forehooves, red eyes, and silver face markings. He wore a black samurai armor. Beneath his helmet is a long white hair pulled pulled back into a top-knot. The sash around his waist was navy blue.

"This Mario Star and Wu are mine to deal with. He doesn't even know the powers of chi or the history, Only me and brother do since we've fought side-by-side until my soul consumes the darkness and lead me to the Underworld long ago." The leader said, sinisterly. "Orochimaru?"

"Yes, Lord Garmadon?" The demon stallion named Orochimaru said with a smirk.

Orochimaru was also a demon stallion with a snake appearance. He has a pale white fur coat, golden eyes with slitted pupils, purple markings around his eyes and fang-like teeth. He wore a plain grey garbs with black polo and pants underneath, a thick purple rope belt tied in a large knot behind his back, a blue tomoe-shapped earrings, shinobi sandals with bandages around his calves.

"Begin your search for the Fang Blades. These fangs were created from the teeth of the Great Devourer. Your first location of the fang was the Hypnobari Tomb as the Glacier Barrens." Lord Garmadon informed him. "Find it and do not fail me."

"As you wish, my Lord." Orochimaru replied as he and his group of serpents left.

Lord Garmadon turned his gaze to Master Wu's form on a flames.

"Soon brother, you and students will fall along with Equestria. And soon, the world will be mine to conquer!" Lord Garmadon said with a sinister smirk on his face.

That's it for the 26th chapter.
