Omniversal War, Ch. 15: Shoot the Moon: The Core's Final Assault
The resistance started to talk about the moon heading to Amphibia. Ben and his friends are all watching as the moon looms closer to them. They stop looking when they see Anne and the other coming toward them on Domino 2 and Joe Sparrow. Frobo is also carrying Andrais with them as well.
"Anne, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Ben asked her.
"Yeah, the moon is coming down to hit us, but how is this happening?" Anne said.
Suddenly, a white flash appeared in the center to show Rook, Max, Azmuth, Blukic, Driba, Psychobos, and Vilgax had made it.
"Grandpa, why is Psychobos here?" Ben asked
"He told us that The Core had one last trick up its sleeve, so we brought him back here to tell you all about it." Max said.
Ben then looked at Psychobos and said, "Spill, Psychobos. Is Amphibhia's moon falling down really is the work of The Core?"
"Oh, yes it is. Andrias told me about it when I was still working for him, but that I know of it. He can t-t-tell you about it much better than I could, and I used the term loosely. Isn't that right, Andrias?
Andrias just laughed weakly at what Psychobos had said about him. Afterward he said, "Yes, I know what is happening up there. It seems The Core had activated its final gambit."
"IT'S WHAT?!" Hop Pop shouted in shock.
"What final gambit, Andy?" Ben said.
Andrias starts to tell everything about The Core's hidden plan with, "When our civilization was at its peak, the moon became home to some of The Core's pet projects. Out of all of them was a plan to eradicate all life in Amphibia as we know it by ramming the moon into its surface."
"So in other words, that giant sphere in the sky is gonna blow all of us up real good." Rhomboid said.
"That is a pretty accurate description on what happening up there, Boid." Octagon said.
"EXCUSE ME?! WHY?" Anne shouted, demanding an answer.
Before Anne could get an answer, Ben's Omnitrix started to buzz and then the communicator was brought up.
"What the? This is the same thing that happen when we look inside The Core! But how is this happening? The chip was split in half!" Ben said, surprised that the chip is still working.
The communicator then showed a fizzle image of someone they knew.
"Oh come now, Annie. You should know by now from all the time you fought it!" A familiar sinister voice said through the communicator.
"Darcy? This can't be! You can't still be alive!" Sasha said, completely astounded to hear her voice again.
"Don't try to flatter me, blondie." Darcy said, causing Sasha to growl angrily at her.
"But how did you survive? You were disconnected!" Marcy said to her.
Darcy told everyone how she was brought back from the brink while pointing to Anne, Sasha, and Ben, "It's simple really. When those party crashers disable my connection, I was able to survive by becoming your shadow, thanks to the changeling's techno form. I'm barely able to talk to you all. That last scuffle with your friends really weaken me, but that's enough talking about me, you should know why Aldriach and his little newts are doing this right, little miss Warrior of Wit?"
"She's right. I do know why The Core is doing this since I've been in that thing's head. It's fear. I know that more than everything. It's afraid of being destroyed, of being irrelevant. It will do whatever it takes to defeat us and claim the stone as its own. If that means destroying an entire civilization to get what it wants, then so be it." Marcy said to everyone.
Sasha then pushed Anne and Marcy aside and pointed at Andrias while saying to him, "So what you're saying is, this thing is a giant sore loser!"
"Hmm, more or less." Andrias said,
"Why are you even telling us this?" Gwen said, demanding an answer.
"I just want Aldrich and those foolish Leviathans to suffer, even if it means working with you lowlifes!" Darcy shouted at them.
"I swear if you try to hurt Marcy again…:" Sasha said to threaten Darcy.
"Calm down, control freak. I don't feel about doing any more mischief, for now. I did my part telling you this, now you do yours!" Darcy said which caused Sasha to grip her hands and having a vein on her hand showing she is really angry at her. She just wanted to strangle her for all she did in torturing Marcy. Darcy then laughed evilly one more time. As she laughed, the communication then turned off slowly until it disappeared completely.
"Why is everyone standing around?! Someone has to stop this from happening! I'm too handsome and important to die! " Argit said while jumping on Ben's back.
Argit then grabs Ben's Omnitrix and tries to activate it but he pulls him off his back and says while putting him on the ground, "Dude, not helpful!"
"So…does anyone else have an idea on how to stop an ENTIRE moon?!" Sprig asked.
"Don't worry, Spring. Me and my counterparts will just transform into something to destroy that moon." Ben told him.
"Yeah, let's do this!" Ben 23 said.
Before any of them can transform, Psychobos intervened by saying, "It's no use if you try that, you simpletons! That hive mind has downloaded that piece of Malware meaning it's also downloaded my upgrade to it. Even if you all attack it, it will do no damage. Even your strongest forms are ineffective against it, and I use the term loosely."
"And you know that because…" Gwen 10 said to him.
"Because I just checked the shield generator and the p-p-piece that Malware put in it is gone!" Psychobos said.
Paradox intervenes by saying, "There is another way to get rid of it, but I think let a certain something tell you about it. She should be arriving just about…"
Soon the ground starts to shake.
"An earthquake?" Polly said as she fell flat on her face. She then gets and continues to talk. "Don't we have enough going on?!"
From a piece of ground, Mother Olm appeared from the water.
"Mother Olm?" Anne and Sasha said in unison.
"Who is this now?" Marcy said, flabbergasted at seeing Mother Olm.
"Oh, so that's what you meant." Gwen said.
"So, how did it go?" Mother Olm asked.
"Well, we stopped the invasion, but now it looks like The Core has hijacked the moon to kill us all, so, mixed bag?" Sprig said.
"I see. Then the prophecy has finally come to pass." Mother Olm said.
Marcy's eyes widened as she gasped and said, "Sasha mentions this! What does it say, what does it say?"
Anne grabs Marcy's shoulder and tells her, "It said that the three of us will save the world. So, let's go save the world!"
"Yeah!" Sasha and Marcy said.
"Hey, what am I, chopped liver?" Ben asked Rook.
"I don't think food would…" Before Rook could finish his sentence, he saw that Ben was getting annoyed. "Oh, expression, right?"
"Bingo, Rook!" Ben said to him.
"You three have clearly not been listening when you heard that prophecy." Azmuth said to them which confused them all. "It didn't say you three will be victorious."
"He's right." Mother Olm said to them. "You see, the prophecy isn't so much a prediction, as it is more as a humble call for help. And know this, you need to tap into the energy that remains in the stones in order to get the energy you need. However, if you do that…"
"There might not be enough energy left for us to get home." Anne said, finishing what Mother Olm started.
"We could be stuck in Amphibia forever." Sasha said.
Ben then said, "I'm not since I have a dimension remote so…"
"Ben!" Gwen shouted, scolding him.
"Now that all the cards are on the table, what will you do? The choice is yours." Mother Olm said
The three girls thought about it for a second before looking at each other as they thought the same thing.
"You call that a choice?" Sasha said.
"Oh course will help!" Marcy said while lifting her arms up.
"There's no way we leave you all hanging in your time of need." Anne said.
The entire resistance then cheered at the choice the three girls made.
"Whew! I wasn't worried! Were you, Toadie, because I sure wasn't!" Toadstool said while he is holding Toadie.
"Now, let's get powered up! Ladies, to the music box!" Anne said.
Everyone then heads to the music box, except for Ben, Rook, Gwen, Kevin, and Zed who are talking about the girls getting ready to fight The Core.
"Are you going to help them in this battle?" Rook asked him.
"I don't think I should get interfere anymore, Rook. This is their fight not mine, plus none of my aliens can harm that thing." Ben told him.
"Maybe, but you should at least give them a hand!" Gwen said, encouraging him to help them.
"Yeah, we want this fight to end with a bang!" Kevin said, with Zed nodding in agreement.
Paradox then appeared from behind them and said, "And it will, as he has an important role to fill."
"What role?" Ben asked him.
Paradox answered with, "Follow me to find out."
Ben and the others follow Paradox and sees Anne talking to Mother Olm, "…the stones are rumored to hold a secret power, enough to defeat any foe, no matter how strong they are, but summoning such power…COMES WITH A PRICE…the life of the user."
Anne then said to Mother Olm as she dropped her hand for Anne to get off, "So, whoever uses the spell, and calls on the powers of all 3 stones will die."
"However, there is a way around that." Paradox said as Anne turned back and saw him as well as Ben and his friends. They have heard everything at what she and Mother Olm were talking about.
"You're going to sacrifice yourself, just to destroy The Core, Anne?!" Gwen said, surprised at what she heard.
Anne responded with, "If things are desperate, I'm afraid I have to use it. But, did Paradox say there is a way around it?"
"Yes, a way for you to use that spell without taking away your life as well as only needing one stone to pull it off so your friends can use it too." Paradox then pointed to Ben and continued talking. "You just need Ben to use the right alien to pull this off."
"Which alien?" He asked.
"Your omnipotent one, my boy! Now I must be off. Can't be around when this happens, ta-ta for now!" Paradox said as he used his crono navigator and made a portal and head in it and closed.
"Well, now that we found out you can survive the spell with your friend's help, good luck up there!" Mother Olm said as she quickly turned to the water.
"Wait!" Anne said, which caused Mother Olm to halt. "Please tell me, how do I use the spell?"
"My child, you have only but to ask." Mother Olm said to her.
They all then head to the castle. As they walked, Anne said to the others, "Paradox said that Ben needed to use his omnipotent alien. Do any of you know what he meant by that?"
"Yep, I know actually what alien he said I should use, right guys?" Ben said.
"Definitely, Ben. I know you can pull this off." Gwen said.
"That watch of yours better get it right this time." Kevin said.
In the castle, Anne said, "Hey, sorry for the holdup guys."
Anne then gasps when she sees Valeriana who mysteriously appeared in the castle.
"Uh, Anne, do you know her?" Ben asked.
"Sure do. Valeriana knows a lot about the music box and the stones." Anne said.
"She was waiting for us when we got here." Marcy said, excited to see her again.
"Pretty creepy if you asked me." Sasha said, hinting she is not a fan of her appearing out of nowhere.
"RAWK! Pretty creepy! Pretty creepy!" Leander said as he landed on Sasha's head.
Kevin then whispers to Gwen, "Do you think she's a ghost, because it's really strange for her to come to this precise place now."
"You're just being superstitious, Kevin. There must be an explanation in why she came here." Gwen told him.
"And what is it, Gwendolyn?" Rook asked her.
"Not important right now, guys!" Gwen said quickly. In secret, she is just as surprised as they are that Valeriana came here when they need her.
"Hello, Anne. Are you ready for your final battle?" Valeriana asked her.
"Oh, heck yeah, baby!" Anne asked, amped for the fight.
"Good, as for your friend over there with the funny device on his wrist," Valernia said as he looked at Ben. "…you may not be in the prophecy, but you still have a part to play in this."
"Sure, snake lady, I guess." Ben said while being slightly confused.
Valernia then started talking to the three girls, "Now, the three of you close your eyes." All three of them do as they are told. "Focus, think of your memories of Amphibia and how much this world means to you. This will allow the stones to resonate with your hearts once…AGAIN!"
Valeriana then slammed her cane on the ground which caused a beam to hit Anne. This caused the piece of her power to hit the box which caused the stones to resonate with Sasha and Marcy giving them their powers again. The three stones then started to float about the music box.
"Ben, now is the time to transform into you-know-who!" Gwen said to him quickly
"You got that right." Ben then activated his Omnitrix, but before he used it he said, "Ok, listen, Omnitrix. I don't want Goop, I don't want Stinkfly. Just give me the alien that I need so that the frogs, newts, and toads can finally get on with their lives!"
He then hits the Omnitrix as the stones head towards the girls. A flash of blue red and green lights from their powers destroy the windows of the castle.
"Warriors of Amphibia, arise!" Valeriana said with pride
The three girls now have a change in appearance due to them using the stones fully. Anne now sports golden armor, a crown, and a blue cape, Marcy has more greenish armor, with a cape to match, and Sasha has spiky red armor, a fiery ponytail, and a black cape. All three of them sparkle with their powers.
"Swanky duds!" Anne said while grabbing her cape.
Kevin yawned and said, :Not bad, but I've seen better."
"Since when?" Gwen asked him.
Kevin didn't answer her. He just whistles which caused Zed to look at him in confusion.
"This is so awesome! Gwen will never believe me back at the Rustbucket!" Reboot Ben said while being happy in a cartoonishly way.
Sasha then decides to give her powers a test run by firing a heron blast upward. This destroys the ornamental structure on top of the castle.
After she blew the smoke from the tip of her finger, She said in excitement to Anne, "Anne, you can do that this whole time?!"
Anne told her, "Uh, nope." She then opened her palm which caused sparks to appear on it. "These powers feel way more intense than before."
"The power must stack when they are used in tandem. Classic synergy buff." Marcy said while flying backward.
"Hey, Anne! Look at what Ben has become!" Hop Pop said while he, Sprig, Polly, and Frobo looked in awe at seeing the alien Ben had transformed..
Anne then looked to where everyone else was looking and was shocked at what she saw, "Whoa! Incredible!"
Sasha and Marcy looked at where Anne was looking and both gasped as well with Marcy's eyes widening and with sparkles. They all saw that Ben had transformed into Alien X during their transformation.
"What did Ben just turn himself into?" Marcy said while still being surprised.
Anne said to her, "I think I know. This must be the transformation Ben said he used to remake the universe in his world. This must be Alien X, right?"
"You got that right, sister!" Gwen said.
"Yeah, Tennyson kicked major butt with him." Kevin said with Zed barking.
"He looks even cooler in person!" Sprig said in astonishment.
"And sparkly, really sparkly!" Polly said.
"Alright, Ben, let's get…" Anne stopped talking when she noticed Alien X wasn't looking at her. Sasha and Marcy are also confused to see that Alien X doesn't seem to notice them. She then waved her hand in front of him and said, "Hello, Ben! Are you even listening to me?"
"Yeah, there's one thing you three need to know about Alien X." Gwen said to Anne, Sasha, and Marcy.
"And what's that?" Sasha said.
Azmuth started to tell Anne, Sasha, and Marcy about the celestialsapien, "Alien X has three personalities. There Serena, the voice of love and compassion and Bellicus, the voice of rage and aggression, Tennyson take the role as the voice of reason. Before any action can be taken which even includes movement, All three of them must deliberate and reach an agreement before Alien X can do anything."
"How long will that take?" Marcy asked.
"Celestialsapiens usually debate eternally on conflit, but Ben has gotten better at it. Still, it will take a while." Gwen said.
"So, unless Ben can convince those two to help, this guy won't budge at all?!" Polly shouted at them.
"Yes, unfortunately." Azmuth said.
"We don't have that kind of time to wait for him right now! The moon is getting close to Amphibia by the second!" Sasha shouted.
"She's right. You three go and prevent that moon from crashing here, Ben will join you once he gets them to cooperate." Max said.
"Got it." Anne then turns to talk to Sasha and Marcy. "Come on, guys! Let's go punch that moon in its big ugly face!"
The three girls smash the roof as they fly into space.
"Yeah, yeah! Get it, girl!" Polly said, happily.
"I know her!" Sprig said, telling everyone that he knows Anne.
"She lived in my basement." Hop Pop said.
Inside Alien X, Ben is greeted by Bellicus and Serena.
"Look, Bellicus, it's Ben Tennyson, coming here to greet us again!" Serena said to him.
"Tsk, like I even care about his presence here." Bellicus said.
"We don't have time for your usual nonsense, you two! You gotta let me use Alien X to stop the moon from crashing into Amphibia!" Ben said to them both.
"Why should we? It's just one planet on the verge of destruction." Bellicus said, say that they shouldn't interfere.
"This is bigger than one planet, the whole multiverse is at stake!" Ben said.
"I feel sorrow, billions of lives will be lost or enslaved!" Serena said in sadness
"Ah, they probably had it coming." Bellicus said, brushing off her statement.
"Ugh, at least show me where the moon is!" Ben said.
"Seconded!" Serena said.
"Motion carried!" Bellicus said.
With both of them agreeing on what Ben said, a screen appeared from behind them showing Anne, Sasha, and Marcy heading to the Moon. As they head near it, The Core noties their presence.
"Incoming targets, deploy defenses." The Core said in Aldrich's voice.
A hatch opened in the moon and a ton of bio mechanical monsters appeared. They armed themselves as they were ready to fight the powered up girls.
"That is the most decisive collection of minds I've ever seen." Serena said while looking though the screen.
"Seconded. They couldn't debate a nauseam if their lives depended on it." Bellicus said, agreeing with her.
Ben shouted at them, "Are you even listening to me?! Right now, our lives, the people of Amphibia's, and the entire multiverse depend on you two being a little bit decisive!"
"It's game on you stinky space bugs!" Anne said as she created a tennis ball of pure energy from her hand and tossed it upward. "Here's the serve!" She then created a tennis racket with the same energy and enlarged it. She then used it to hit the ball at the monsters. It then changes into Anne's pet cat Domino and multiplies into beams of light. All of the Domino lights then head up and fall down on several monsters destroying them and leaving the word ACE! afterwards.
Sasha then created pom-poms out of the energy and created heron wings on her back. She had and started to attack various creatures while moving around like a cheerleader. Soon, a bigger version of those monstrosities comes to fight her. She combined her two energy pom-poms into a giant ball of energy and charged at the robot with it trying to punch her. It failed and was torn apart easily by the ball of energy which finally exploded it with a heron-shaped blast.
Marcy who is looking at it all shed a tear of joy and said, "This is the coolest, most anime thing that ever happened to me." She then created a 20-sided die out of the green energy. "I'm so happy to be able to fight by your side!"
She then tosses it at the army with it hitting 10 when it hits some robots and 15 when it bump into some other robots all while characters from her favorite game appear around the dice and the robots. However one robot managed to grab the dice. She just happily said, "Nat 20, baby!" This caused the robot to look at the dice and see that Marcy was right. The dice that self destructs on it as the energy from weapons from Vanabogna Chronicles. Afterwards the energy flew to Marcy's arm and formed a crossbow of energy.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" She said as she shoots an arrow from her arm.
A robot tries to destroy it but it fails and it pierce through it alongside the robots behind them. Anne and Sasha then hugged Marcy and spun around a bit before going to fight The Core's Army again.
"Whoo, you go, girls!" Ben said. "See, you two, those three manage to work together without debating or deliberating! This goes to show that action speaks louder than words."
"Those three are so perfectly in sync. It's so amazing to see." Serena said in happiness.
"More like it's annoying if you ask me." Bellicus said.
Back at the destroyed castle, Andrias is in awe at seeing the three girls blast through The Core's defenses. Alien X was also in the castle and still not moving.
The Core then starts to talk to Andrias through his crown and tries to convince him to stop Anne and her friends from destroying it.
"Andrias…" The Core said to Andrias.
"Father?" Andrias said who recognized his father's voice.
Reboot Ben appeared in front of Andrais and said, "Hey, scaly!" He then activated his Omnitrix and transformed into his version of Heatblast. "Why is your crown got an eye on it and looking at you? Are you going to work with that thing again? Because if you are, you're gonna have to answer to me!"
Andrias didn't answer, he just looked at his crown again.
"Help us…save us…protect us…and you can finally join us…FOREVER!" The Core said, trying to get Andrias to stop Anne, Sasha, and Marcy.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Grime said while pointing Barrel's Warhammer at him.
Andrias then looked at the warhammer. Seeing it gets him to remember his friend Barrel and well as Leif. He knows what he has to do.
"What I must." Andrias said to him. "Frobots, engage."
The Frobots, who are in a destroyed state, get up and fly to where Anne, Sasha, and Marcy are.
"Don't worry, I'll shoot them down from here." Reboot Heatblast said as he was about to fire them, but before he launched a fireball, a red fluid hit his hand and encased them in red crystal. He saw that Reboot Kevin had turned into Dark Matter to stop him.
"Hold your horses, Dweeb-yson!" Dark Matter said to him.
"Why should I even listen to you? The girls are going to get ambushed!" He told him as he smashed the crystals from his hands.
Dark Matter then said, "Quit being a doofus and listen to me! Did you even look when he gazed at that hammer?"
"Well, no, but now that you told me, he did look concerned after seeing it." Reboot Heatblast said.
"You do have a point. He acted differently when he saw it." Grime said.
"Yes." Vilgax said from behind them. "It looked like seeing it trigger something from inside him, something that he knows what must be done."
Everyone then looked towards the moon where the Frobots are heading.
As Sasha destroyed one last robot, Anne said to them, "Enough with the small fry, time to take down that moon!"
All three girls then flew to the moon and started to push it to try and keep it from colliding with Amphibia. While doing this Marcy notices the Frobots heading towards them and says, "Leave them to me!"
As she flies to them, she ends up tripping on a small rock which causes the Frobots to fly past her.
"Oh, come on! How did I trip in the vacuum of space?!" She shouted before she recovered and charged back at the moon.
The Frobots then split into 2 groups and started to help push the moon away.
"No way! Andrias' robots…" Sasha said.
"They're helping us!" Anne said while grunting due to her pushing the moon.
Marcy then stopped for a moment and was surprised at seeing the Frobots helping them. She then looked back at Amphibia and was smiling, happy at seeing Andrias had chosen the right decision.
"Thanks for doing the right thing, Andrias." She thought to herself. She then heads to help out Anne and Sasha once more.
Back inside Alien X, Serena said while looking at the Frobots help the girls, "Now there something you don't see everyday."
"It took me by surprise as well and that is saying something." Bellicus said.
"Said the consciousness who just deliberate instead of doing something." Ben said to them both.
"Wow, you were right Kevin!" Reboot Heatblast while looking and seeing that the Frobots are helping as shown by the stars near the moon.
"Of course, I'm always right!" Dark Matter said.
Both the Omnitrix and Antitrix timed out and both Reboot Heatblast and Dark Matter reverted back to normal.
"I don't believe this, you're…" Grime said.
"Finally doing something useful?" Andrias said, finishing what Grime was saying.
"Took the words right out of his mouth!" Grime said to him.
"You fool! You could have been immortal!" The Core thenturned to see Vilgax and said, "YOU! How dare you work with them! This is revolution!"
Andrias then takes his crown off his head.
"It is necessary for change, something that you clearly lack yourself." Vilgax said to The Core.
Andrias then started to crush his crown.
"Stop, Andrias! What are you doing?!" The Core said while looking at him.
Andrias didn't stop. He just said, "Something I should have done a long time ago, standing up to YOU!"
Andrias then destroys his crown, shattering into dust and freeing himself from The Core's connection with him.
"Well, you're finally free from that monster that has been burdening you all of your life. What are you gonna do now?" Grime said.
Andrias just looked upward to the moon and said, "Full throttle, engaged!"
The Frobots used their full power to push the moon. Their combined might along with the girls has started to move the moon away from Ampfibha, but The Core pushed even harder by powering it throttle to the limit. It's so strong that Anne, Sasha, and Marcy can't push it back, even with the Frobot army helping them.
"FOOOOOOOLS! THIS STRUGGLE OF YOURS AGAINST US IS MEANINGLESS! YOU CANNOT STOP…A GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!" The Core shouted as it accelerated even harder.
As the moon nears Amphibia, Marcy said, "Even with the robot army, it's not enough."
While watching the struggle through the screen, Bellicus said while mocking at what The Core's has just said, "That misshapen beast claims to be a god? Don't make me laugh."
"Agreed. It's nowhere near close to becoming a deity." Serena said.
Ben then said, "Bellicus, Serena, we got to help them! If we don't, Anne is gonna to sacrifice herself to stop it! Her friends will flip out if she tells them that!"
"I admire your passion in helping them. Seconded!" Serena said to him.
"Ugh, I think your passion is woefully misplaced. You should let your so-called friends pull their own weight for once. Motion denied!" Bellicus said who still doesn't want to get involved in this.
"Now you're just being contrary!" Serena said to him.
"Said you." Bellicus said which caused Ben to groan in frustration.
He then looks at the monitor again and notices Sasha and Marcy's powers are starting to fade away.
"Guys, I hate to bring this up, but I think I'm fading fast." Serena said as she started to tire out and her glow continued to fade.
"Me too." Marcy said as her glow dimmed as well. "Our bodies aren't as used to this as yours."
Ben then quickly talked to Bellicus and Serena. "How about we re-energize Anne, Sasha, and Marcy so that they can save Amphibia and afterwards I'll let you both keep arguing on everything, agreed?"
"When you put it that way, agreed!" Serena said.
"I disagree that this will be fun, but if it means we can continue arguing in peace after this, motion carried." Bellicus said, finally agreeing.
Suddenly, Alien X teleports away, with Gwen, Kevin, Rook, and Zed seeing this.
"Ben finally got them to agree to help them." Gwen said.
"It's about time!" Kevin said.
The Planters then head to their direction after seeing Alien X disappear.
"Hey guys, we saw Ben disappear. Did he get those personalities to help?" Hop Pop said.
"Yep, Now your friend won't sacrifice herself like she originally planned." Kevin said.
"WHAT?!" Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop said with Frobo being surprised as well.,
Gwen then elbows him with Rook slapping his face with his hand after Kevin spills the beans.
"No! N-n-n-n-no!" Sprig said with tears in his eyes. "We can't let her! Frobo take me to Anne, now!" He then got on Frobo's back.
"Sprig, no! It's too dangerous!" Hop Pop said to him.
Frobo then flew to where Anne was.
"We'll make sure he doesn't get hurt! Let's follow them guys." Gwen said as she made a mana platform.
"But we can't breathe without spacesuits!" Kevin said to her.
"It's fine. Azmuth told me that you can breathe in space in Amphibia." Rook said.
"Well, let's hope he's right." Kevin said as he got on Gwen's platform.
They all then flew in the direction Frobo whent. With Sasha and Marcy's power getting weaker by the second, Anne starts thinking about what to do next. Since Alien X is still not here, there is only one thing she can do.
"Look, guys, I know what we have to do. I'm going to call upon the power of all three stones. I may die in the process, at least you two and everyone else will be safe." Anne said, telling her friends her plan.
"WHAT?!" They both said.
"Are you crazy?!" Sasha said, thinking Anne has lost her mind.
"There's no way we're letting you do that!" Marcy said.
They all look at the side of the moon and saw that Frobots are exploding, one after another. They don't have much time left.
Anne explained to her friends why she had to do this, "Our whole lives I followed, counted, trusted both of you, now it's your turn to follow my lead. Please let me do this." She then opens her hand and wants the stone Sasha and Marcy have.
"Anne…" Marcy said while shedding tears.
"But… but…" Sasha said who is also shedding tears.
Before Anne could get their stones, a bright light appeared from behind them, as it dimmed, someone faster than their eyes could see dashed through them. When they all looked at the moon, they saw that Alien X has finally joined them and is blocking The Core's route. Even its supercharged thruster can't get through him.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" The Core said, shock to see that it stopped dead in it tracks.
"Surprise!" Alien X said with his voice echoing throughout space. He then punched the moon which pushed him back, but it took no damage due to The Core's downloading itself with Malware data. Alien x then quickly dashed to the moon and punched it again, pushing it back further. The Core then growled angrily at Alien X after it was pushed back twice.
"Ben! You made it just in time!" Anne said, still surprised that Alien X slowed down The Core all on his own.
Alien X then places his hand forward and in the direction of the girls. A beam was blasted from his hand that hit them all. This fully recharges their powers as shown with Sasha and Marcy glows returning.
"Talk about a recharge! I'm feeling alot better already!" Sasha said while using her energy pom-poms for a bit.
"So am I!" Marcy said while holding her energy 20 sided dice again.
"Great to see that you guys, because now, all three of us will have to use that spell." Anne said to them.
"What?!" Marcy said which caused her dice to fade from her hands. "But, I thought you said that only one person can call upon the stones. Even if that is possible, if we do that, we'll give away our lives!"
"Don't worry. Ben will use his alien's power to prevent that, if he knows what to do." Anne said.
Sasha and Marcy just looked at each other at what Anne said. They're both not sure they will make it out of this.
"Anne!" Sprig said from behind them. "Please don't do this! It's too risky!"
"Sprig, it's fine." Everyone looked and saw that Gwen was the one who said that. She, Kevin, Rook, and Zed have appeared tailing Sprig and Frobo. "Ben knows what he is doing."
"Yeah, he wouldn't put your friend in danger." Kevin said to him.
"You can trust us on that." Rook said.
Sprig then said with tears in his eyes, "But, Anne changed my life. I don't know what I'll do without her."
"And you changed mine, but I got to do this in order to protect you and the people that I love." Anne said to him.
"We keep Anne safe if something goes wrong, Sprig." Sasha said.
"Just let us do this, ok?" Marcy said to him.
Alien X just nodded his head at Sprig.
Sprig started to sob after hearing this, but he and Frobo headed to a safe distance along with others that followed them. Anne, Sasha, and Marcy then showed their stones at The Core which angered it even more.
"You insolent whelps." The Core said while looking at the stones. "Those stones don't belong to any of you fools. You three dare to use them, Amphibia's greatest treasure and our birthright against US?!"
"These stones are not Amphibia's greatest treasure or your birthright!" Anne shouted at it.
"They were created to serve a purpose…" Sasha said.
"And that is to help us stop you once and for all!" Marcy said, finishing what Sasha started.
After their speech, transparent versions of everyone of their friends they meet surround them.
"Ok, guys, are you ready for this?" Ben said to Bellicus and Serena.
"You said you're going to let them defeat it." Serena said.
"Now, who is being indecisive?" Bellicus said to him.
Ben then told them, "Ugh, you two are impossible! What I meant is that we're going to keep them decemateing themselves! Alien X can prevent that as well as letting them only need one stone to use the spell, right? RIGHT?!"
Serena then said, "Alien X can do many things, we just both have to agree to it. Bellicus…"
"Serena…" Bellicus said in annoyance. "Fine, but the next time a hive mind of evil conquerors tries to take over the multiverse, don't come crying to me."
Bellicus and Serena then closed their eyes with Ben joining them this caused Alien X to create a healing barrier around Anne, Sasha and Marcy. Now they are protected from the spell's side effects as well as only need one stone to pull it off.
"Ok, Anne, what do we do now?" Marcy said to her.
"Mother Olm said that all we have to do is ask, so we need to ask them if they can give us the strength to protect who we love." Anne told her.
The girls start to murmur to the stones to give them the strength they need. Soon the stones start to shake in their hands. While they are using the spell, The Core starts charging up power for a blast. It gained this after absorbing Malware's data.
"And guys?" Anne said to her friends.
"Yes, Anne?" They both said.
"If we don't make it, the only regret I have is not seeing Love Choice 2." Anne said which caused Sasha and Marcy to get confused on what she said for a second.
The stones then shatter which causes the energy of the three stones to absorb in them. All three have changed appearance again to how they were before using the stones, only this time, they are glowing white and with their pupils turning star-like. Cracks did start to appear on the girls' face and hands, showing the cost of using the spell, but due to the healing barriers Alien X created, then instantly disappeared after a few seconds.
"Unbelievable, it actually worked!" Sasha said who still couldn't believe that it's actually working.
"Well, now that we know that these barriers work, fire at that moon at will, ladies!" Anne told them.
The three girls then place their arm in front of them which creates a giant ball of energy for each of them. They then fired it as a blast which combined into one and headed to the moon. The Core has finally finished charging and used the moon to fire multiple blasts from all of its eyes. Its blast is similar to Malware's, but infused with The Core's energy. The mini laser then combined into one huge blast and clashed with the girl's energy blast.
"Sasha, Marcy, don't hold anything back! Let's finish this now!" Anne shouted at them.
Anne then holds her hand forward as she fires faster from her hand. Sasha and Marcy also keep firing at a faster pace. This caused their blast to push the moon's laser blast until it finally overwhelmed it. The girls' blast covered the whole moon and it started to take damage. The Core can only watch through as there is nothing it could do to survive this attack.
Before succumbing to the blast, The Core shouted, "ABSOLUTELY…IMPOSSIBLE! How could we lose?! We had it all! We are an invincible everlasting god that rules over the entire multiverse! We…are the eternal beings! We…are the ultimate destroyer! Ugggghh….." The helmet's eyes then crack as it is atomized by the girls' combined blast. The moon finally distrgrated along with The Core, ending it reign of terror for good.
Gwen, Kevin, Rook, and Zed made it back while bringing Sasha and Marcy with them with Sprig and Frobo bringing Anne with them. Finally Alien X came last and moved his arm upward, signifying victory. The resistance then starts cheering that the battle against The Core is finally over. Hop Pop, Polly, Grime, Olivia, and Yunan then head over with tears of joy to see that Anne is okay.
"Anne, you made it back ok!" Hop Pop said happily to see that Anne made it back fine.
"I was so worried about you, girl!" Polly said.
Anne then said to them both, "Thanks, but Ben was one who prevented us from fading away. Me, Sash, and Mar-Mar wouldn't have survived without him. He was right about how powerful Alien X was."
"Told you." Alien X said as the Omnitrix powered down. It timed out and Alien X reverted back to being Ben.
"Nice work, you three." Gwen said to Anne, Sasha, and Marcy
"I knew you all would survive that." Kevin said.
"Yeah, right." Sasha said sarcastically.
"What you three did up there, is a mighty fine act of total destruction." Octagon said.
"Thanks to you three, Argit the hero of Bellwood, lives another day!" Argit said, which caused everyone to just look away from him.
"Good job, Ben. The multiverse is safe, thanks to you." Max said to him.
Ben told him, "While I love to bask at this, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy are the real heroes. I only prevented them from sacrificing themselves. They're the ones who stopped The Core."
The alternate bens then head to their direction and cheering about them winning,
"We're done here! I'll take the Alternate Bens back to their own reality." Ben 10k said.
"Allow me." Paradox said as he opened a portal.
Ben 10k heads in the portal with Ben 23 fist pump Ben before leaving. Gwen 10 then was next to leave in the portal after she hugged Ben.
Before Reboot Ben and Reboot Kevin could leave, Paradox said to them, "You two, unfortunately, will forget about Alien X when you head back to your universe."
"What, but why?" Reboot Ben said to him.
"Neither of you are supposed to know about him yet. You both think of it as a dream and that the alien Ben used up there was completely different." Paradox said.
Reboot Ben groaned and said, "Aw, man! And I was about to tell Gwen about it."
"Like, she would believe you about that." Kevin then darted to the portal. "Later, Dork-nyson!"
"Hey, wait up Kevin!" Reboot Ben then turned to his prime counterpart and said, "I guess I'll just watch some Xingo when I head back. Goodbye, big me!" He then heads into the portal.
"What's Xingo?" Anne asked.
"I have no idea, Anne." Ben said, confused at what his reboot counterpart said to him.
Gwen looked around and said, "Grandpa, Azmuth where Vilgax and Psychobos?"
"They left while we were looking at that moon." Azmuth said.
"How did they even leave?" Ben said.
"They used the remote that Kevin left behind in Rook's Proto-truk." Max said.
Ben, Gwen, Rook, and Zed looked at Kevin who said, "Oops, looks like it was a bad idea to put it there."
"You think?!" Gwen said, angrily at him.
"Even so, I doubt Vilgax will keep it after all of this. He probably smashed it by now." Ben said.
Marcy looked at Sasha and noticed something on her face.
"Sash, the scar on your face is gone!" Marcy said in shock.
"Really?" Sasha then looks at her reflection though the water below her and sees the scar on her face is gone. "You're right! But, how did this happen?"
"That's simple!" Paradox said to her. "When Alien X used his power to keep your three from losing your lives, it also healed any and all battle damage you three had, including the one you three had in your time in Amphibia."
"Meaning the scar on my back Darcy gave me…" Sasha said.
"…as well as the scar I got when Andrias stabbed me…" Marcy said, continuing to where Sasha left off.
"Are completely gone! Think of it as a fresh start." Paradox said to them.
Anne then looked at Ben with a surprised face.
"Don't look at me like that, Anne! I thought I was just keeping you three alive, not patching up scars!" Ben said to her.
Paradox opened another portal and said to the girls, "Now then, come. A very important figure wants to speak to all three of you."
The three girls looked at each other and agreed on going in. They went into the portal which led the girls to a mysterious floating island above a starry sky.
"Whoa, where are we?" Sasha said, looking at the sky.
"This place looks like the poster in your bedroom, Anne." Marcy said, recognizing the place to Anne's poster.
"Come on, let's go inside that house." Anne said pointing at the house.
The girls then head inside the house where they saw a ton of stuff from Anne's past as well as portraits of her loved ones. In the center of the house lies a computer. It then showed a chat saying that 3_stone_deity would like to chat.
"Should we accept that?" Sasha asked.
"It would make more sense why we are here." Marcy said.
"I go and check it out. You two just stay behind me." Anne told them.
Anne then clicks accept to talk to 3_stone_deity. She typed who he is to which it responded to being a cosmic guardian who watches over countless worlds for countless eons. She then asked why using a computer to which the guardian said that he thought teens used it. Anne typed he was off a couple of decades so the guardian, so the computer decided to change form into something that Anne thought would be more modern, by transforming into a copy of Anne's cat, Domino.
"How's this? Better?" The Guardian said to them.
"So much better!" Anne said with her eyes widening when she saw The Guardian becoming her cat. "Come here, you!" Before Anne could grab the guardian, Sasha stopped her by grabbing her arm.
"No, Anne! He may look like your cat, but I don't think he wants you to snuggle him." Sasha said to her.
"Thank you, Sasha." The Guardian said, swiping a sweat off his head in relief. "I figured her response would be something like this. I am very cute."
Once Anne had gotten over that the guardian became her cat, she said, "You said you're a guardian, so that makes you…"
"A watcher and a viewer. The guardian said while yawning, "I'm not in the demographic though."
"And the reason you turn into Anne's pet cat, because…" Marcy asked.
"…my true form would make your human brains explode." The Guardian told them.
"I don't know, dude. Me, Sash, and Mar-Mar have seen some pretty cra…" Anne abruptly stopped talking when she, Sasha, and Marcy saw the guardian in its true form. This caused them all to scream when they saw it. The Guardian then quickly changed back to being Domino.
"Now to businesses." The Guardian said after he finished licking his paw. "Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, and Marcy Wu, I asked Paradox to take you all to this place, because I want to offer you three a job."
"Wha?" They all said.
The Guardian explained what the job is, "To keep a near infinite story short, I've been doing this job for a very long time. It's exhausting and tiring. So, I was hoping you three would consider being my replacement. I even told Paradox if he could offer that funny human with the device on wrist to also take the job, but he said his fate is for somewhere else.
"Hold up, you want us to take over your job?" Marcy asked.
"Of course that's what I'm asking!" He said as he jumped on Anne's hair from behind. "Look, I created the stones to see how mortals would handle unlimited power for themselves. Turns out, not that well. Would you believe after about ten thousand years, you three are the only ones who used that power for good?"
"Uh, this is a lot to take in right now. I mean, do we have a choice to take over?" Anne asked.
"Of course you three do! I'm not a jerk." He told them.
The three girls then huddled to talk about this.
"What should we say to him? I don't want to be mean to him, but I don't think we should do this." Marcy said.
"No way we should do this! We just meant him and he asked us this out of the blue!" Sasha said to them.
"I don't feel we're ready to take this yet. Sash, Marbles, I know what to say to him." Anne said.
Once they finished talking, the three girls then looked at The Guardian, who was licking himself again..
"We made up our mind. We'll pass on taking your job." Anne told him.
"Wha?" The Guardian said, which caused him to quickly turn to see them in confusion. "No! I haven't even told you three about Bagel Fridays!"
Anne then told him, "Sorry, dude. You seem cool, but me, Sasha, and Marcy are just thirteen year old kids. For every heroic victory against evil, we make a hundred dumb mistakes. We might accidentally blow up the multiverse if you put us in charge."
"Please, don't do this to me kid! You three are the only ones who qualify for this!" The Guardian said, pleading to take over.
Anne explained why they rejected his offer, "Dude, you might think that we're perfect for this, but we're not. Sasha learns not to be manipulative in order to gain the trust of her friends, Marcy knows that friendship won't die though distance, and my time in Amphibia taught me that we are all changing and improving and learning as we go. When I thought Sash, and Marcy would be stuck in their old ways, they proved me wrong and our friendship got stronger. Heck, in Wartwood, the oldest fashioned and least accepting place ends up accepting me as their own."
"So you saying you three can continue improving, maybe even one day feeling worthy of this post? The Guardian asked them.
"Seems like it, right Anne?" Sasha said.
"Yeah, we have our whole lives ahead making bad choices and learning good lessons from them." Anne said.
"Good to know you three have bright futures ahead." Paradox said from behind a portal. "Time to head back, but before that, The Guardian needs to tell you all something."
The guardian has changed shape again, but as Domino in guardian form. He spoke to the three girls again, "You three have shown me the error of my thinking. And if you three can do that at age thirteen, then imagine the guardian you will be after a life fully lived! Now, go you three and live your lives!" The guardian then moved out of the way for the portal. Anne, Sasha and Marcy stepped inside the portal.
"You sure you can wait that long after doing this job for a long time?" Paradox said to him.
The Guardian then said, "I waited thousands of years to retire, what 78 years more?"
Paradox then heads into the portal and it closes instantly.
The portal then took them back to Amphibia. Ben and the others head to see Anne, Sasha, and Marcy.
"Nice to see you three made it back. Sprig and the others were worried sick when you three headed in that portal. What did you find on the other side?" Ben said.
"Just something we'll be doing in the future." Anne said to him.
Sasha sees Grime and notices that he has a mechanical arm to where Malware sliced it off.
"Grime, where did you get that?" She asked him while pointing at it.
"Oh, this? Ben actually made it for me. Pretty cool, right?" Grime said while showing off the metal arm.
Ben told them, "Yeah, while you three were gone, I changed into Juryrigg and created it using the Frobot parts scattered around inside the castle. Polly helps out too."
"Question, why is your pocket glowing?" Sprig said, pointing at Anne's pocket.
She grabbed what was in her pocket and pulled out the glowing object.
"What are those?" Sasha asked.
She looked in her hand and saw three calamity shards and a piece of paper saying TTYL.
"I think it's basically the same thing Paradox said earlier, a chance at a fresh start." Anne said.
Sprig then hugged Anne which caused everyone to laugh while she lifted Sprig up into the air. Ben is talking to Max and Rook about this finally ending.
"Looks like we are done here for real this time, but what about Andrias?" Ben asked.
"Oh, don't worry about him. I think he really wants to do the right thing from now on." Max said.
He then showed Ben and Rook where Andrias is right now. He just stared at the destroyed moon, happy that The Core is no more.
"It's over. This whole nightmare is finally over." Andrias said, glad to see that his father Aldrich's corrupted legacy has been extinguished.
"Wow, he really mellowed out!" Ben said.
"Looks like he won't be causing anymore trouble, given the state that he's in." Rook said.
As the sun rose, Marcy started to look at the shards that Anne had.
"Do you know what those shards are, Marcy?" Ben asked her.
"Well, based on what Anne told us, they seem to be a low output version of the stones." Marcy said.
"So, we can use them to get home?" Sasha asked.
Marcy answered with, "In theory, but we're talking crumbs of energy. Miniscule, even! Judging by their size and luminosity, I think they're a one-time use only."
"So, if we use these to return home, there's no coming back." Anne said.
Marcy adds on what she said with, "Not only that, who knows how long they hold for. Could be hours, could be minutes, or it could be even less than that."
Hop Pop then said while putting his hand in his pockets, "Well, we better say our goodbyes." He then walked near the girls. "You girls need to go back to your own lives, and I think we've kept you long enough."
The girls then looked at each other and nodded their heads in agreement. Ben then looked to his friends and said, "Looks like it's time for us to say farewell to the girls too, but let's have their friends say goodbye to them first."
"I'll better head back to Plumber HQ anyway. There's a lot of cleanup to do now that the threat is neutralized." Max said to Ben.
"Does that mean we're going to lock us up?" Rhomboid asked.
"Since you help us out this time, we let you two off free of charge." Max told them.
"They'll be criminals again as soon as they destroy something, grandpa." Ben said to him.
"True, we just couldn't help ourselves in blowing something up." Rhomboid said.
"It's in our nature." Octagon said.
"We'll time to head back, my public awaits me! Later, Benny!" Argit said which caused Ben and his friend to get annoyed at him.
Paradox then opens a portal with his crono navigator and Max, Argit, and the Vreedle Brothers head back to Bellwood. Meanwhile the girls are getting flower wreaths on their heads based on their color. Marcy was the first one to get it from Yunan while she was bowing.
"I came to this world thinking only of myself. It was really wrong of me to do that, and I wish I gotten to know you both better." Marcy said to Oliva and Yunan.
"I think we all have a lot to learn, Master Marcy. Don't be so hard on yourself." Olivia said to her.
"In a way, you helped us see what was important to us as well." Yunan said as Marcy saw them holding their hands.
She then looked up to see Andrias. He didn't even want to look at her, after all he put her through.
"Goodbye, Andrais." Marcy said to him, which surprised him to see that she still cared for him, even after stabbing her and getting her possessed by The Core.
Andrias then said while turning his head and closing his eyes, "Take care, kiddo."
Grime was having a hard time putting on the wreath on Sasha's head. Once he did, both of them saluted at each other, trying not to be emotional about leaving.
"Commander…" Sasha said
"Lieutenant… It was an honor serving with you." Grime said while moving his hand forward, getting ready to shake hands with Sasha.
Sasha tried to hold back her tears, but she couldn't and started to cry loudly.
"I'M GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH!" Sasha shouted while bawling.
This caused Grime to start crying and said, "Not as much as I'm gonna miss you!"
While placing her hands on his shoulders, Sasha said to Grime, "You find Percy and Braddock, you tell them I'll miss them forever!"
"I will, as soon as I find the pieces of my heart and put them back together!" Grime said while clenching his armor.
They both started to sob and cry out loud. Finally Anne already has her wreath on her head and is saying her final goodbyes to the Planters.
"Goodbye, Polly. You're the little sister I never thought I needed. I know you're gonna grow into an amazing frog and take over the world. Anne said.
Polly then wiped a tear off her face and said, "Without you as my moral compass, I definitely will!" They both then hugged.
Anne then turned to see Hop Pop and said, "Goodbye, HP. Thanks for taking me in. I'm so lucky to call myself a Planter."
"I'm the lucky one, Anne, and I'm so blessed to have a granddaughter like you. If you ever want a home cooked meal or your old room back, just…" He then sniffs before finishing his sentence. "…stop by."
"Like an old wise frog told me, "family always find each other." Anne said as they both hugged.
Once they are done hugging, she notices Sprig sobbing up and storm and twisting his hat. He's the one who really gonna miss Anne compared to the others. Anne then comforted him.
"Goodbye, Anne. I…I'll never forget you." Sprig said to her.
Anne said with tears in her eyes, "And I won't forget you either, Sprig, which means we will never be apart…not really." Sprig then started sobbing again. "Nothing will ever change how much you mean to me. Not time, or space, or distance, or being worlds apart."
Sprig wiped his eyes and said, "Spranne against the world?"
"Spranne against the world." Anne said as they did their handshake. She then gives him her phone.
"Here, I want you to have this. Maybe it will help you on your future adventures." Anne said.
Anne, Sasha, and Marcy then hugged their friends one last time. Afterwards, Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Rook, Azmuth, and Zed head over to say their goodbyes.
"Looks like you all need to head back to home as well, right, Ben?" Anne said.
"Yep, If I don't, someone would probably conquer Bellwood again!" Ben said to her..
Kevin turned to see Marcy and said "Hey, brainiac! Watch out for that dark personality of yours! Nobody wants to see that lunatic running loose again!"
"It will be fine, Kevin. I'll make sure Darcy wont take over me again." Marcy told him.
"It was great to fight by your side, Sasha." Gwen said.
"Likewise, Gwendolyn." Sasha said.
"As for Andrias." Rook said while looking at him. "Even though you destroyed my Proto-truk, I won't seek restitution. You already made up for what you did."
"Thank you for the leniency, plumber." Andrias said to him.
"Hey, what about my car that was wrecked by your robots?" Kevin asked him.
"Kevin!" Gwen shouted at him.
"It's fine. I know I have a lot to do to atone for everything I have done." Andrias said.
Anne gets her dimension remote from her pocket and says, "Here, Azmuth, I know you want this back."
"Yes, thank you very much and goodbye." Azmuth said as he got the remote.
"Come on, Azmuth! Not even a thank you to Anne?" Marcy asked him.
Azmuth then told Marcy, "You expect me to put on some humiliating display of gratitude every time Tennyson or some random individual saves a universe or two? Who has that kind of time?"
"That's just his way of saying thank you." Ben said to Anne.
"You're welcome, I guess." Anne said to him.
She turned to Ben and said, "Ben, we couldn't have defeated The Core or made it back home without you or your friends help. Thanks to everything you all have done.
"Same, Anne. you guys really help us out in getting the villains from my dimension back to where they belong." Ben and Anne started to shake hands as a final goodbye. "Thanks, and take care of yourself and your friends."
Once they are done, Ben heads back to the others, but just before Azmuth can use his remote, Anne shouted, "Hey, Ben!"
Ben and the others look back as they see Anne, Sasha, and Marcy.
"It's hero time!" The trio shouted.
Ben just smiles as he waved his hand goodbye. Azmuth then hits the remote and teleports himself, Ben, Rook, Gwen, Kevin, and Zed back to Bellwood.
"I'm gonna miss him…not." Sasha said. She is still a bit angry at Ben.
"At least his friends aren't as obnoxious as him." Marcy said to them.
Anne then looked at Valeriana who nodded her head that it's time. She then inserted the shards in the Calamity Box which caused it to create one last portal back to Earth. As the girls walked near the portal, they turned back to their friends while holding hands. They all then bowed which caused the frogs, newts and toads of Amphibia to cheer and clapped their hands. Sasha and Marcy then head in the portal, but before Anne can step in it, Sprig stops her by hugging her legs. They then had one last hug before she left. She then heads inside the portal afterward, It then flashes as it closes leaving a single leaf from Anne's hair behind. The Calamity Box then dissipates from Valeriana's hand, much to her surprise.
With the girls gone, Hop Pop said, "Anne and her friends are back to their home, and Ben and his allies have headed back to his world as well. So, what now?"
"Now we build a better world and a better future…" Olivia said.
"…together." Grime said, adding on to what Oliva said.
Polly then started grunting until… Boing! She saw that an orange strand was on her head. She then gasped in surprise.
"Not to undercut you guys, but, I just got my first hair!" Polly said as she pointed at it.

Alright! Seeing Darcy again must have surprised you didn't it? Well, evil geniuses or psychotic rulers are harder to squash than cockroaches, so you can't leave a great villain down. Also while Ben could have easily gotten rid of the protection the moon got from downloading Malware's data and destroying it as Alien X, he chose not to because he knew this isn't his fight, it was Anne, Sasha, and Marcy's. There is only one more chapter to go. Hope you're all ready for the conclusion of this story!.
