It's amazing the reception this story has been receiving already 60 followers in less than a month this makes me happy and motivated to continue, I had this idea in my mind for a while now but have always been self-conscious since the last few stories I tried on DA wasn't as successful (I will not be linking them as they are terrible and fetish based).
I also decided to reveal that I will be changing up a few things that happened in canon like different exercises, different events, and stuff like that but I won't be saying which I'll change so as not to ruin the surprise.
And I should point this out, yes I know Ilda doesn't have an L (Now) but that's just how Ive seen it spelled in fanfiction, and gonna keep using it, so sorry for the hardcore fans who might point this out.

Izuku hummed as he walked down the street his signature yellow bag slung over his shoulder in his hand was his phone, the night before the five of them had swapped numbers so they can talk outside school and maybe coordinate hangouts or the like, right now he was in a chatroom they created.
Alien Queen: "So did you hear back from Nejire about the hang-out this weekend?"
That was Mina, she chose that username based on the Xenomorphs from that classic movie "Alien" made by Ridley Scott due to her acidic quirk. Chuckling in response he replied.
The Gatherer: "Yeah I did, she said it's fine you can come, she's even bringing a few of her friends as well"
His username was based on his quirk, no real story behind it.
Red Riot: "Awesome! Can't wait to meet them!"
That was Kirishima, he based his username on his personal hero Crimson Riot.
Ilda: "Who is this Nejire you're speaking about?"
That was Ilda obviously, Mina and Uraraka had teased him about not being creative with his username but he remained firm about it saying that his family name was good enough for a friendly group chat.
Alien Queen: "Oh so forgot you two were not here when Midoriya spoke about her, she's a third-year student he met when she was only in her first year at UA and they remained friends since"
Red Riot: "Yeah and this weekend we are going to meet her!"
Gravity Girl: "Sounds fun! Too bad I can't go I have a plan with my parents"
That was Uraraka, her quirk allowed her to remove the gravity from whatever she touched so her username was based on her quirk like his and Ashido's were.
Ilda: "Yes I unfortunately also have plans with my family this weekend maybe next time we can have a hang-out secession next weekend"
Izuku chuckled as he imagined his bespectacled friend chopping his arm as he typed that. Arriving at school was a simple walk from the train station to UA, he wasn't surprised when he saw Ilda already at his desk.
"Hello Midoriya it's good to see a fellow student arrive early" he greeted his friend "Yeah I'm used to getting up early due to my workout schedule so I might as well be early to school while I'm at it," he said as he took his seat. After that students began to trickle in slowly with Kaminari entering last with only a few minutes before the bell rang.
"Greetings," Aizawa said as he entered the classroom causing idle chatter to stop.
"As you all know Minoru Mineta had been expelled leaving an empty seat in class" he began after placing his stuff on the desk.
"So Principle Nezu made me pick a new student to replace him, you can come in now," he said causing a new girl to enter (Her physical appearance was described in the previous chapter so feel free to go back if you need a refresher)
"Hello, my name is Hiroshi Akemi! I hope we can be friends!" the girl replied in a bubbly tone.
"Since we have a new student I decided to have everyone in class introduce themselves, just say your name, your quirk, and a small fact about yourself starting with the student in seat number 1 and going until seat number 20, I'm gonna take a nap," Their teacher said as he pulled on his large yellow sleeping bag, Akemi went to her seat.
First up was a blonde-haired student who seemingly sparkled as he stood up "My name is Yuga Aoyama, my quirk "Navel Laser" allows me to shoot a laser from my belly button but if I use it too long my belly starts to hurt, and I love to sparkle!" next up was Mina.
"I'm Mina Ashido, My quirk "Acid" allows me to secrete acid from my body, mainly my hands and feet, and I love to dance!" She sat down.
Next up was a girl with a slouched stance and long green hair "I'm Tsuyu Asui but I'd prefer being called Tsu, my quirk "Frog" allows me to do everything a frog can do including jump high and use my tongue to grab or attack people, and I wanna become a rescue hero"
Next was Ilda "Hello my name is Tenya Ilda! And my quirk "Engine" which allows me to use the engines on my calves to boost my speed, I aspire to be like my older brother Tensei Ilda who you may know as the Turbo Hero: Ingenium" he proudly stated causing many to gasp as he announced his relation to a pro.
Next up was Ochako "Hello my name is Ochako Uraraka, my quirk "Zero Gravity" allows me to remove the gravity from an object by touching it and can 'release' by touching my fingertips together," she said showing off the pads on the tip of each of her fingers "My goal is to earn a lot of money so my parents can live an easy life," she said determined before sitting down.
Next up was a guy with a long tail who stood up "Hey my name is Mashirao Ojiro, my quirk "Tail" is just that I have a tail, as for a fact about myself? I've been practicing Martial Arts since I was 10 mostly karate and kung fu" he said as he rubbed his head bashfully, Midoriya swore he could hear Kirishima whisper "Manly" causing him to roll his eyes.
"Oh my name is Denki Kaminari, my quirk "Electrification" allows me to cover my body in electricity or shoot it off in a big blast but if I go too high of a voltage I'll short myself and go all stupid for a while and I can't aim it, as for my fact? I can play the guitar pretty decently," he said, causing a certain music fan to perk up.
Next up was Kirishima "Yo the name Eijiro Kirishima, my quirk "Hardening" allows me to harden my body ain't too flashy but It gets the job done, I aspire to be like my idol Crimson Riot!" he exclaimed, slamming his hardened fists together creating a spark.
The next student to stand resembled a rock or mountain in shape if Midoriya had to compare him to something, he stuttered for a moment as the attention of the class made him nervous but managed to compose himself and speak in a quiet and nervous voice "My name is Koji Koda and my quirk is "Anivoice" allows me to speak animals and command them, I have a pet bunny" he said quickly sitting down so the focus can move the next student.
Said student was a large muscular student with thick lips "Hello my name is Rikido Sato, my quirk is "Sugar Rush" allows me to boost my strength when I consume sugar though I get kinda dull if I do it for too long, I also love to bake" he said before sitting down when his introduction was over.
The next student Midoriya recognized as he was the one that questioned him about copying his quirk in the locker room "Mezo Shoji is my name, my quirk is called "Dupli-Arms" allows me to manipulate my arms such as extending or morphing them into different parts of my body like mouths, ears, and noses these organs are much more sensitive than normal eyes or ears, I like squid ink pasta and Takoyaki" he said simply showing off his quirk before sitting down.
The next student to stand was a girl with short purple hair, her earlobes extended downwards ending in headphone jacks "The name is Kyoka Jiro, my quirk is called "Earphone Jack" I can channel my heartbeat through my jacks I can also extend them a few meters, it also improves my hearing immensely, I love music and my favorite genre is rock" she sat down.
The next student was a boy with large and bulky elbows that prevented his sleeves from being pulled down all the way he also had a triangular-shaped mouth which constantly showed off his teeth, thumbing at himself he gave a smile "Names Hanta Sero, my quirk is simple it's called "Tape" see my elbows?" he asked lifting his left arm to show off the bulky part of his body "I can produce tape from them, I can also retract the strips and that's bt, as for my fact? I love oranges, soy products and anything else healthy" he said, shrugging and sitting down.
Next up was a student with a bird head who was about to open his mouth when a bird-like shadow creature popped out from his uniform "This broody emo is Fumikage Tokoyami and I'm his quirk! Dark Shadow" the creature greeted only to shoved down by his user who had a blush dusting cheek which was hidden by the feathers on his head, before clearing his throat "As Dark Shadow has mentioned my name is Fumikage Tokoyami and this annoyance is Dark Shadow" he greeted himself ignoring his quirk's annoyed "Hey!" and continued "He is a sentient creature attached to me, he gets stronger in darkness but becomes harder to control in reverse he gets weaker the brighter it gets but becomes easier to control" he explained causing his quirk to puff their chest out in pride at being called strong but deflated when their weakness was mentioned "And I like apples, that is the fact I decide to share" he said sitting back down crossing his arms as Dark Shadow stretched over and tried to talk to Sero before being pulled back by Tokoyami.
Next was a student with half red and half white hair and a large burn scar over his left eye "The name is Shoto Todoroki and my quirk is "Half-Hot Half-Cold" I can produce fire from my left side and ice from my right but I refuse to use my right side" this declaration confused the class, but Midoriya and the still awake Shota caught the malice in his voice "I like cold soba" he said and sat down a scowl stretched on his face before it returned to his previous stoic expression.
Next came well… An invisible person Midoriya assumed they were a she due to the uniform and body shape, "Well…" she began before recovering from the confusion Todoroki caused "My name is Toru Hagakure, my quirk is quite obvious "Invisibility" makes me invisible and I cannot turn it off, I like those hidden camera surprise prank shows" she finished and they watched her uniform sit. Next up was Bakugou who had the same uncaring expression on his face, noticing he was receiving glares from several students he shrugged and thought *"Stupid Extras"* before he spoke.
"The name is Katsuki Bakugou, My quirk is "Explosion" I produce nitroglycerin like sweat which I can ignite at will, I will become the number one hero" he cockily declared before sitting down ignoring the annoyed boo he received in response.
Midoriya had been busy this entire time dutifully writing all he could about his classmates' quirk when he realized most of his classmate's eyes were on him, blushing in embarrassment he quickly stood up slightly nervous about revealing his quirk to the rest of the class, the guys were really accepting and so was Mina and Ochako, gulping he began.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya, my quirk is called "Gatherer" it allows me to collect quirks by touching people I cannot collect Mutant Type quirks but I can do Emitter and Transformation just fine, I uh like Katsudon" he decided to go simple for his fact and share his favorite food. The girls in the class's eyes widened except for Mina's and Uraraka's who already knew.
"That's such a cool quirk!" exclaimed Toru who had turned in her seat to face the still standing Izuku, Akemi agreed.
"Why aren't you surprised?" Jiro questioned the guys, seeing that they weren't surprised by the greenette's quirk.
"Midoriya took the liberty of sharing his quirk with us yesterday while we were changing back into our uniforms" Ilda responded waving his arm.
"Yeah apparently he was bullied for it in Junior high so It was quite brave of him to share it" Kaminari revealed causing those who didn't know to gasp in surprise.
"Why were you bullied for your quirk!?" Questioned Toru, sounding worried "It sounds so powerful!" she exclaimed.
"Well, one of the reasons was because they were afraid I would 'steal' their positions in schools like UA, which is why I never had any friends until I befriended a few people when they answered my ads" he responded, confusing people.
"What ads?" questioned Akemi from behind.
"Oh sorry, I placed several ads online asking people if I could copy their quirks. This allowed me to gain a vast arsenal of quirks to call on" he responded, turning to face Akemi.
"May I ask how many quirks you possess and do you have a limit?" questioned the last student, he looked confused mainly because he didn't know her name.
"Oh sorry my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, and since I'm introducing myself I might as well do my quirk is called "Creation" the ability to create any non-living material/object from my exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of my fat cells. To create something, I need to understand the molecular structure of what the material/object is made of, as for my fact I'll guess I'll be simple and share a hobby of mine I like reading" she introduced herself before motioning for him to continue.
"Oh and to answer your questions, well I don't know if I have a limit I've been gathering them for a while now and I haven't felt as if I hit the limit of how many I can collect, as for how many I have that's a secret I don't wanna show all my cards just yet" he explained apologetically.
"Ah, it's no problem Midoriya I can understand," Momo said before Akemi stood up.
"I guess I am the last to introduce myself" the tallest girl in class and second tallest student, in general, stood up before clearing her throat "Hey I'm Hiroshi Akemi but please call me Kemi, My quirk is called "Thunder Point" basically you see my antlers? I can charge up an electric blast I can use to attack or charge electric devices, the many weakness is it takes a while to charge up an effective blast which is the main reason I didn't get many points in the entrance exam, I enjoy eating Takoyaki and playing video games" she explained before sitting down. Returning to his spot behind the desk Aizawa spoke up.
"Finally finished your introductions, good, homeroom is almost over so I hope you are more acquainted with each other. It will pay off for your Foundational Heroics Class this afternoon," he said, taking a sip of juice from a pouch he had hidden in his sleeping bag.
The day went by rather quickly after that as during the morning they had normal classes like English and History, Izuku fanboyed for a few minutes when Present Mic was revealed to be their English teacher, then lunch has eaten the food was made by the disaster relief hero Lunch Rush.
Soon it was time for their first heroics class and most of the class was chatting as they waited for their teacher to enter.
"I AM coming into the door like a normal person!" loudly declared All Might as he slammed into the room adorned in his silver age costume
"Woah it's All Might!" Midoriya exclaimed, practically vibrating in excitement.
"No way!" one student exclaimed, Izuku was pretty sure it was Kaminari.
"Sweet! The rumors that All Might was gonna be teaching were true!" Hagakure exclaimed.
"Welcome to your first Foundational Heroics Class, but you can think of it to be Heroics 101!" All Might said with his signature smile "Today it will be a simple lesson" he said pulling a card from under the desk with the word "Battle" written on it in bright red lettering.
Bakugou gained a feral grin which made those near him lean away from him in fear.
"A battle trial!" he said though the feral look in Bakugou's eyes made him hesitate *"He's a bit too excited"* he thought before continuing "But to train to be heroes you need to look the part!" he said pressing a button causing 19 cases to pop out from the wall "Sorry Ms. Hiroshi due to your recent inclusion into the heroes course we could not have your hero costume ready, so you'll just have to wear the standard gym uniform" All Might apologize "It's no problem All Might sir I expected as much," she said waving him off.
"Alright, those with costumes please grab them and head down to ground beta!" All Might exclaimed as he took off through the door, likely to get to the said ground.
– Ground Beta –
It took about 10 minutes to find the testing ground and five more minutes for everyone to get changed into their costumes. (All But Izuku's is the same as in canon).
Izuku's consisted of a dark green jumpsuit, with black armor plating made of thick kevlar around his collar, chest, upper thighs, and elbows, he wore greyish white boots with iron soles to increase his kicking power, and around his waist was a red belt, it was filled with small things like a first aid kit, as well as smoke and tear gas pellets, a small dispenser of eye drops, and a few other helpful gadgets, the only the thing on his face was a pair of tinted lensed goggles.
"Look good Midori-Kun~" teased Mina as she and Kirishima, Ochako, and Ilda joined their friend. He turned to thank her but blushed when he noticed just how skintight her and Uraraka's jumpsuit were.
"T thanks Ashido," he said, rubbing his neck bashfully.
"Alright today will be a simple battle trial, there will be four teams of five and I will draw lots to determine the leaders" All Might declared holding up a box "Theres are balls labeled from 1 to 20, and if your seat number in class matches the four balls I'm about to draw than you are a team leader once I call your number come stand near the flag with your team letter" he declared pointing at a series of four flags with ABCD plastered on them, Team A was a red flag, B had a blue, C had a yellow, and D an orange flag.
Raising his hand Ilda asked, "All Might sir what about the rest of us!?"
"That's the good part, each team leader will pick their team's dodgeball style! Team A will pick someone, then team B, then team C, then team D" he described, nodding Ilda lowered his hand.
"Team A's leader is.. 18!" the number one hero declared holding up the ball in question, sighing Midoriya went to stand under the red flag.
"Team B's leader is 19!" he declared, Akemi laughed with joy and jogged to her flag.
"Team C is 15!" Shoto slowly walked to the yellow flag.
"And Team D is 17!" Grinning Bakugou took the last flag, "Okay before the leaders pick their teams I shall describe the exercise" All Might said pulling a hologram projector from… somewhere, the projector projected a small cityscape.
"The exercise is like that childhood game Heroes and Villains, two teams at a time will be sent into the simulated city, one representing villains and the other heroes" he described, many students didn't feel comfortable with being compared to villains.
"The villain team will be given a briefcase of "import" documents, do not worry about the papers, they are just simple animal pictures I printed out" he assured, causing Mina to chuckle.
"And it's the heroes' job is to either A, escape the city with the briefcase, or B using the rolls of capture tape to capture the villains!" he described holding up a roll of said tape.
"The villains can win by keeping the briefcase safe for 45 minutes or capture the heroes" he described "As for which teams will be heroes and which will be villains, I will draw randomly after the teams are picked I will also randomly draw which two teams will be fighting," he said pointing to a bingo machine with only four balls in it. Nodding at the instructions the four team leaders waited for when they could pick.
"Alright team A pick your first team member!"
"I choose Sero" Midoriya picked first, the tape user would be useful for denying his opponent's movements. Rubbing up the always smiling held his hand up for a high five.
"Thanks for choosing me, dude!" Sero said as Midoriya returned the gesture.
"Yaomomo you're on my team girl!" Akemi exclaimed pointing at the shorter girl who blushed at the nickname.
"I won't make you regret choosing me Akemi" Momo politely said who chastised her and told the Creati girl to call her Kemi.
"Kirishima," Shoto said simply *"Better to separate them so they aren't on the same team"* he thought as he watched Kirishima shoot an apologetic look at Midoriya.
"Sugar Boy you're on my team!" Bakugou loudly declared, "My name is Sato," the sugar rush user said, annoyed that he had to work with the bully. "As if I care" was Bakugou's response.
"Shoji if you don't mind" Midoriya called *"He would be useful for both offense and defense"*
"Tsu I choose you!" Kemi said jokingly referencing Pokémon.
This process continued for a few minutes and the final teams were, Team A Midoriya, Sero, Shoji, Kaminari, and Aoyama. Team B Akemi, Momo, Tsu, Jiro, and Hagakure. Team C is Shoto, Kirishima, Mina, Ilda, and Koda. And Team D is Bakugou, Sato, Tokoyami, Ochako, and Ojiro.
Once he was sure the teams were finalized All Might drew two random balls from the tumbler "Alright, here are the hero teams!" B and D were written on the balls.
The members of those teams cheered while the villain teams groaned.
"No need for that, you're only villains in the name so need to be downtrodden," All Might said as he rolled the tumbler "Alright now I'm gonna roll to decide which two teams are first!" he said as he grabbed two balls without looking, revealing the letters on them A B, Midoriya released a breath he didn't know he was holding, he luckily didn't need to fight Bakugou while said explosive pomeranian was disappointed he couldn't pound the "No Good Copycat" which earned him a few glares from the few that heard him.
"Alright, the villain team will have 20 minutes to plan and then another 10 minutes to prepare," he said, handing Midoriya a standard black briefcase. "The timer will start once they enter the sectioned-off part of Ground Beta," he said "Team's CD follow me to the observation room" All Might said as he walked off the two teams followed their teacher.
Midoriya and his team sat down outside the city limits to discuss a plan, Midoriya began.
"Alright so I think I should start by telling you your roles," He said as he looked at each of his teammates. Once he got an affirmative from each he continued.
"Well first is Sero I chose him based on his ability to set traps, he can easily use his quirk to set triplines to inhibit movement and delay the enemies" Sero nodded and shot him a thumbs up.
"I'll make sure those heroes will be caught in a sticky situation" He chuckled at his own while a few of his teammates groaned.
"Shoji is the reconnaissance, his quirk is very useful to prevent stealth and sneak attacks while also being strong enough to hold his own when being confronted" he described the masked giant nodded in response.
"Kaminari will be for when the heroes get too close to immobilize and stun them, and if my theory is correct he can be a direct counter to Akemi" This confused the blonde.
"What theory?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side.
"Oh, sorry" Midoriya quickly apologized "My theory is that to a certain point you are immune to electricity and can absorb the attacking electricity" He explained causing him to light up.
"Woah I never thought of that!" Kaminari said, an excited sparkle in his eyes. "Yes, I believe that so long as it doesn't push you past your limit then you theoretically can absorb more energy than you can produce" he explained, getting the blonde more and more excited.
"Though I've been thinking a lot about your quirk since you described it in class," Midoriya said "I like to analyze quirks and I thought up a few ways for you to improve your quirk or costume if you're willing to hear me" he explained.
"Heh shoot man I'm willing to hear these ideas of yours we got a few minutes," Kaminari said, shooting his leader a thumbs up.
"Well, first you can improve your ability to fight in melee combat with metal batons or tonfa they would increase your striking potential while also allowing you to use your quirk at a longer range without shorting yourself out as well as implementing a chainmail-like armor that could turn your body into an effective taser to aid in defense, as for the "stupid" mode you go into when shorted out I was thinking of a simple device that when implemented into your hero costume can act like a circuit breaker and help prevent you from reaching your 'stupid' state" explained showing Kaminari his notebook which had a basic sketch of the device which resembled a neck brace as well as a sketch of his hero costume with chainmail like pattern stretching across his arms and legs.
"Ah, this is cool Midoriya, mind if I can get a copy of this to send to the costume designers for improvements?" He asked, "Go ahead Kaminari I'm always eager to help, I'll get a copy to you after this class"
"Hey, what about us, do you have anything for us to improve?" Sero questioned with faux sadness in his voice but it was clear it was meant to be playful.
"Ah yes I have several notes on your guy's quirks as well, thanks to the introductions Aizawa sensei made us do, I made plenty of notes on everybody's quirks," Midoriya said.
"Amazing mon ami what do you have on moi~?" Aoyama asked and Midoriya swore he sparkled as he asked.
"Well, I was thinking about your quirk and drawbacks and thought that a strong enough anti-nausea medication can likely completely negate the nausea overusing your quirk causes, as I also drew up a basic sketch of focusing lenses you can place around your body such as your hands, shoulders, elbows, and knees to redirect your quirk and focus it to finer points for more cutting potential" he explained showing off his sketches which showed off lenses like the one on Aoyama's belt on the specified areas.
"Magnifique ideas Midoriya~" praised Aoyama causing him to blush.
"As for you Sero my ideas for you, well it's more of a theory and it's that if you train yourself enough you possibly produce more than one strand of tape and possibly produce different types such as double-sided tape for extra trapping capability, I also thought of a simple way for easier travel" he changes the page of his notebook to show a small diagram of Sero swinging between buildings by firing his tape and retracting it or do something similar to an enemy but dragging towards himself. "Though I suggest extra padding in the hands and knees and maybe a melee weapon like a baton or escrima stick if you decide to employ the second example"
"Oh that looks cool I need to try that!" Sero said fist pumping in excitement.
"And finally Shoji I don't have much for you, the only thing I have is a suggestion for a weapon is tonfa or batons to go along with your enhanced strength, sorry it isn't much but your quirk is so unique that refining it is gonna a combat or in use example" Midoriya explained apologetically.
"It's alright Midoriya. I honestly didn't expect very much," Shoji said, shrugging, "But the weapon idea, I'll keep that in mind," Shoji responded, rubbing his chin.
"Alright, here is the plan!" He said, clapping his hands to gather his teammate's attention.
– 30 Minutes Later –
Akemi wearing the standard blue and white gym uniform entered the faux city Jiro and Momo flanking either side of her, Tsu had hopped up a nearby building to get a bird's eye view while Hagakure had stripped of her "costume" which was just boots and gloves and was scout out ahead when she and the team ran into the first obstacle.
Long stretches of tape spanned from building to building, they stretched across almost the entire city making their progress slow as they had to carefully cut their way through or risk getting stuck in the sticky tape. It took eight minutes before they could get to the building Jiro indicated had someone inside it.
"Are you sure Jiro?" Kemi asked her teammate.
"Yes, there are at least two people in there, my guess is either Kaminari or Midoriya" The musician guessed, causing her leader to nod and grin.
"Alright girls get ready it's time to initiate this attack on those villains~," she said as she lowered her head and ran forwards her goal was to ram the door down but the second her antlers made contact with the wooden surface a sudden, "BOOM" echoed across the battlegrounds as an explosion sent the hero sprawling back into her teammates.
"What the heck was that!?" Jiro questioned hands clamped over her ears as the detonation of the door had hurt them a lot due to her sensitive hearing.
Groaning in pain Akemi stood up "It must be one of Midoriya's quirks" she heard Yaomomo guess "I agree who knows how many quirks he has"
"Well, what are we supposed to do? We can't just walk in there who knows how many bombs or whatever they're called Midoriya planted!" Hagakure whined, "I don't like the idea of blowing up," she continued.
"Yeah I don't know Midoriya very well but he seems to be smart if he expected us to come in through the side door," Momo said cupping her chin and contemplating what else the green-haired student had planned.
"Be careful girls we quite literally could be walking into a minefield" Kemi warned approaching the now empty doorway.
