(Agent Classified's POV)
Having found our North Wind Jet piloted to our hotel, we crossed the Bosphorus a night ago, and we woke up to the whirr of the North Wind Jet. Now it was time to cross Turkey and be on the lookout for Dave. Arslan rubbed his eyes and adjusted his glasses, muttering and inspecting his shield which Richard had coughed out. He beckoned us all towards the centre of the vehicle, ready to switch the autopilot off. We landed, so as to regenerate some fuel.
However, it was a terrible mistake. Octopi surrounded us, swarming into our jet as many as could fit. Immediately, the penguins, who were always ready, went into their battle formations, while Short Fuse slammed the window button with his tail, enabling Arslan to slide through and turn the tide to wash away the Octopi. Eva swooped from above, dropping Short Fuse's Nanocharges and flashes of blue flame surrounded the Octopi.
A lot of action before breakfast.
We exited as our jet transformed into a base. Immediately, Eva, Arslan and Kowalski were typing away like mad at the computers. Immediately, I saw what looked like an electric blue brain, with an emoticon-like face.
'Hello Mortals. Wait, I see i am not making my latest video! Is this the North Wind Base? It must be. What do you need, eukaryotes?'
'We really need your help. Are you willing to help some mortals?' Came the voice of Arslan.
'Fine, then. Let me direct you to set your base somewhere else.'
'Where?'
'LOADING...'
'I'll leave you to load, we need to eat breakfast.'
'Arslan walked towards the chemical storage room, disappeared inside and returned carrying what was likely another serum made by Dave.
'This serum may contain traces of the Medusa serum, from my analysis.'
He heated up the bubbling blue liquid and green smoke burbled out.
'Just as I thought.'
'Now what are we to do?' I enquired.
'We wait. Prepare the base and keep a lookout for octopus or lobster activity! Defend the place with medieval armaments if needed! Put everything to use and prepare!' Skipper ordered.
I stumbled into the computer room, glancing at the bright flashing lights as the others patrolled the perimeter. I hurried to a building in the city, thinking I saw an octopus. I hurried to calling every one of my teammates as we dashed to the city. The sun rose and through glows of purple and orange I saw that I was right. We dashed through the skyscrapers of Istanbul, running like mad. But the tide turned on us as we saw a giant group of octopi. We dashed for our lives through the streets and onto the Bosphorus bridge, retracing our steps as we reached the outskirts. I doubled over and fell, as it happened, at the feet of Alex the Lion, which the Penguins had been talking about.
'What brings you here? I called this guy , he could understand my speech.'
'Here I am,' the voice of Arslan sounded. 'We saw these octopuses, and they all chased me through the city!'
With that we stole away to my ship and flew back across Europe to scan in London again. We flashed down through rolling puffs of cloud as we descended on Central London, landing in the Thames. I gave a brief breakdown of the plan.
At 0900, we were scheduled to land in the Thames.
1000, we would set up our base.
1100, we were destined to start observing the railways in London.
1200, we would send part of our team to investigate the roads,
1300 we would ask people if they have seen 'Octavius Brine'.
1400 we would conclude search if nothing was found.
1500 we would begin to search the coast.
7 hours later, Dover.
'Hang on a moment!' I said as we saw smatterings of purple paint on the rock and a metal submarine periscope in the distance, of the same hue. We recognised it instantly.
'I remember this... It can't be... I was t-t-taken away... to here!' Private stuttered at the sight of Dave's sub.
'Prepare the boat! Naval raids. Defeat all the guards!' I called into my communicator.
Minutes later our boat arrived. Arslan took his bow and arrows and attempted to aim at the boat.
'Displacing of water. The water won't drown them, but the pressure will. Do you have any Greek fire substances?'
'Yes. But it's experimental.'
Without hesitation he fired the flaming arrows.
'Launch nanocharges!' I called to Short Fuse.
'Gladly...' he answered.
Splashes of blue flame were seen from a mile away. We came within a yard of the sub. It still wasn't damaged, though the Greek Fire was burning madly.
'Guess your plan so long ago wouldn't have worked... that or they more recently... fortified the submarine.
Arslan was a scientist. He always predicted each plan and drew conclusions. He told me that he would enter in disguise and commandeer the ship from the inside. He would then signal to the others to enter and take over the sub. He donned a cloak and hood, requesting to enter in the Octopus language.
It was time for the plan.
