Chapter 946.
"The plan to save the town."
- In collaboration with Marvelomac1010. Though, I had to make some changes to the original concept and idea he had in mind, so I hope this is alright dude.
(September 26. Ketcham Park. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
We now see a lot of the folks from town have gathered here, to give their ideas on what they can do to save the town of Royal Woods.
Liam. "I can have my farm animal friends play some music, they are pretty dang talented and good."
Zach. "How about we use some high-tech stuff and make Royal Woods go high in the sky. Joyce Crandall won't be able to destroy our homes when it's flying."
The others all continue to talk about their own plans, and each one doesn't even seem close to being called a good plan, then Luna talks to Lincoln and Jordan. "Still no word from your hero counterparts for some help?"
Jodan speaks first. "Nope. We called them, but they seem busy with something else, in another world and I think there's a fight going on or something."
Lincoln then speaks. "Peter Harris can't even get backup from FutureTech, but we still have something that could help, we just need to wait for it to come here from exploring our galaxy, the Gladius Battlecruiser."
"Right, that thing" replied Luna. "Huh, we totally forgot that ship was here once, and under your control or something. I thought it was confiscated or something."
"Was" replied Jordan. "After a lot of stuff going down, the vessel is here in our universe and just scouting, and I think it's leading a fleet. That battlecruiser shows up, then we got a massive army, one that outnumbers the forces at the Royal-Delta Outpost."
Clyde then speaks. "Wait, everyone!" They all look to the McBride boy. "We sign petitions, and with them signed we can show them to Joyce Crandall and then she won't be able to go with her flooding idea. We all have rights to vote, and our votes matter."
"Hmmm, sounds like a good idea" replied Mayor Davis. "Let's go with it. Everyone, come over and sign the petition, and I mean everyone, but not the babies. They're small, cute and not ready for this." they all agree, and then come over to sign in their names, to show that they all vote on one thing. No to Lake Gladys, no to flooding their beloved town, and home.
Lincoln and Jordan are surprised that Clyde had an idea that sounds good. Sam then speaks to them. "Guys, is this a good idea? I wanna know what you guys think."
Lincoln thinks about this. "The people all get to vote, and everyone deserves a chance to be heard, and there is no dang way that woman could ignore this. It is our rights, and we have the rights to say what we speak, and that woman... She has no rights to do this to our town."
"I just hope this does work" replied Jordan. "Joyce Crandall is the State Under-Secretary of Water Leisure, and we have never even heard of her. This makes things complicated, and perhaps... We need to dive deep and know more about her."
They then watch as everyone signs the petition. Luna sighs. "If this works, then this town is saved, but then again Jordan is right. We need to sort this out, and figure out on who the heck this Joyce Crandall truly is, because something doesn't seem right about her, I can feel it."
"You're not the only one sis" replied Lincoln, then they hear Mayor Davis talking to Rodney Spokes about his signature, that there is no need to make it that big, and also to Lola, why the heck is she putting a dash of glitter on her signature for?
(Later.)
Joyce Crandall arrives, and she looks around the Park and she is confused. "Alrighty then, can someone please explain to me on why was I called to come to the town which is going to become the best lake ever?"
"Because we have something..." She then sees Lincoln, Jordan, the louds and everyone else, and then Lincoln hands her the clip board. "This has more than twelve papers, and signatures from everyone in Royal Woods, and we all have made this petition, that we have the rights to say no to the flooding of Royal Woods!"
"You have to go by this rule, we are Americans and we have our rights!" said Jordan. "You know this is by law, and it cannot be..."
Joyce Crandall then rips the papers apart, and this surprises everyone in confusion. "Sorry, but as Under-Secretary of the Water Leisure to the State of Michigan. So, what I say goes and I have all the rights and papers to destroy this town, and make it into the lake idea. This Petition idea was cute, but a total bust on whoever thought about it."
Clyde is at a loss for words, he thought this would work, but it didn't and this woman will still flood the town. "You're all trying so hard, and that's a good for all of you. But sadly, the plans and ideas won't work, so this town will be going 30 feet under the water, and another thing..."
"Stop!" Lincoln yells. "You can't do this. We have been through a lot, and this town will still remain standing, and we have something that we have faced, a lot of trouble which would've made this simple and sorta small town face judgment. Returning trouble, and we have faced it and managed to save our lives, and homes."
"He has a point there" replied Jordan. "This town, Royal Woods has survived through a lot, and you can't just destroy a nice town that is strong and capable of sustaining trouble. That makes it a historical place, because no matter what happens this town is still standing, and everyone can go back with their normal lives."
Joyce Crandall scoffs. "Coming from the teenagers who are the primary target to trouble, and also everyone else who become prime targets. I don't see any point to reason with me to this trash heap town. Also, ranting words about how great this town, is testing my patience and wasting my time, and I know everyone here has stupid ideas that make no sense. So, I have decided..."
"To not flood the town?!" asked Harold and Howard.
Joyce Crandall scoffs. "Ugh, to flood the town tomorrow." Everyone gasps hearing this. "Well, see you all tomorrow and also, start moving. You'll all be paid when the town is fully flooded. Otherwise, I hope you all know how to swim." She then returns to her car, and she drives off.
But deep down she smirks and grins. 'Chances everyone will be too busy moving their things, which will be too much. So, tomorrow bright and early, this town is going down, and with everyone in it!'
The people of Royal Woods didn't like this, Joyce Crandall will not heed to the suggestions and ideas as to why this town should not be wrecked, and they feel like this is a failure, an end to their beloved town, but then the louds go to Lincoln and Jordan.
"Lincoln? Jordan?" Lori goes over to check on them. "Guys?"
Lincoln and Jordan then see the bench, the very same bench from when they met on May 9, 2019 which changed everyone's lives and made things into something amazing, unexpected and yet awesome. Lincoln then makes his hand into a fist. "No, she can't do this to our town. Joyce Crandall will not destroy this town!"
Everyone remains silent, and hearing that tone in Lincoln Loud's voice meant that he has a plan, a new plan and they all wanna know what it is. "Everyone, what is the one thing we all truly treasure in this town?"
"Food?"
"The Pokémon?"
"Our houses?"
"Our jobs?"
"The Burpin' Burger?"
Lincoln then speaks. "All of them are all correct and true, but something more, and that something are the memories we have made. The awesome, and heart felt memories which makes this town what it stands for now. The past, the present and further into the future. I have a plan, and it can work and we can sort everything out, and to do that... We all need to come together, and recall the best times we have ever had, that makes us enjoy our life that we have now."
Everyone likes hearing this, and then Lincoln goes to the others. "Leslie, rally the rich girls and inform them to get their parents to help out with something needed, and that would be in the form of lawyers. Ryan, contact Peter Harris, and tell them to double time it and find some way to know who this Joyce Crandall is, and also see if they can try and get anything from the other world."
"Michelle, we need to make sure everything is in place, and everyone we have come to know and love is here, and so make some calls and call everyone, and when I mean everyone... I literally mean, call everyone we have ever known. Jordan..." Lincoln then kisses her quickly. "We need to make sure everyone gets up bright and early tomorrow, because I think that lady plans the same thing."
The Louds are surprised to hear this from Lincoln, and then Jordan speaks. "The man with the plan, at his best, and god dang finest. Alright Lincoln Loud, let's save Royal Woods."
Meanwhile, as everyone hears the plan, Katherine Mulligan and her niece Jenny are using a drone to follow and see what Joyce Crandall is up to, and then their drone hears her conversation, and they are surprised by what they hear, something the others need to know about this Joyce Crandall.

A/N: I know that this might not be what "Marvelomac1010" saw from the concept he sent me, but I had to make some changes, and I am happy with how this goes and await tomorrow on how it all ends. I hope you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
