It has been a week since I first joined in the X-men training and the training is rather intensive, but I have gained quite a bit of muscle from the exercises and Wolverine kept upping the intensity of the exercises to challenge me and get an understanding of my powers.
I haven't told anyone what I can do but my gamers body is making it look like I have superhuman stamina and growth I think because it takes me longer than most people to get tired from a workout.
Currently we are sparing in the training room as I was in my own black and yellow X-men suit as I am sparing against another comic beauty known as Dazzler aka Alison Blaire. Blonde, good body and can sing. She can also absorb sound vibrations to generate light-based powers.
Thankfully this wasn't a power exercise as the we were sparing with hand to hand as Alison like the others was taught how to fight by Wolverine and my basic understanding of boxing wasn't keeping up with her skill but thankfully I was levelling up my skill and making it stronger as Alison did dodge a few strikes which proves that I am getting better and less sloppy but the sad truth is that this isn't a fight I can't win and the proof is thrown in my face when she sweeps my leg and I hit the floor.
"Ow. My pride." I complained weakly as I wasn't prideful or hurt and was simply being over dramatic.
"What's wrong? Can't handle being beaten by a girl?" Alison taunted as she and I actually did become fast friends and she enjoys teasing me.
"Laugh now but I'm going to beat you in this rematch." I told her as she offered me a hand up and we started sparring once again but this time it was a bit more intense as Alison was pushing me to the limit.
However, I refused to give up and I gave her everything I had but sadly I was knocked down once again and lost the last sparring match of the day.
"Alright everyone that's enough." Wolverine said as class officially ended as I got a feel for the X-men. The official team is Samantha, Jean, Logan, Remy, Kurt, Hank and Ororo while the rookies are Rogue, Kitty, Alison, Bobby, and me.
The team is sizeable but not overly big like it is in the comics, but I am sad to see that people like Angel and Jubilee aren't X-men despite the fact that they are students here.
"Better luck next time." Alison said as she once again helped me up and the group of us started making our way out of the danger room.
"Is it just me or was Professor Logan running us a bit too hard today?" Bobby asked as we walked to the changing rooms.
"I like the fact that he isn't taking it easy on us. It will make us stronger." I told him as we went into the boys changing room while the girls went into theirs as we got into our regular street clothes and basically had the rest of the day off.
So, with that in mind I started making my way back to my room and when I entered my room I simply got onto my bed and relaxed a bit before I all too soon heard knocking at my door.
"Hello." I said with a tired yawn as I opened the door and saw my X-men in training teammates. "What's going on?" I asked them as Kitty spoke up.
"Where heading out into the city for some fun and we wanted to invite you to come." Kitty said cheerfully as ever.
"Well, I don't have anything else to do so why not." I said as I agreed to go with them as we all headed into the garage where Samantha and Jean where waiting for us along with two cars ready as Alison got in the driver's seat of one of them while Samantha got into the other as I could somehow tell that she was giving me glares as we got in the cars and made our way into the city and with my bad luck I was in Samantha's car with Jean, Bobby and Rogue.
The car ride was fun even if it was a bit awkward but soon enough, we all came up to a massive bowling alley and Samantha told everyone to chip in and luckily Jean was nice enough to cover for me and chip in a bit extra as we all got shoes and started bowling as this is apparently a team building exercise.
"This is pretty fun." I said as I managed to get a strike when I took my turn.
"That's because bowling with your friends is always a blast." Kitty said with a causal smile and as a response I smiled back at her.
"So, you're training with us and you're going to be learning stuff at the school, but did you know that all of us also go to Bayville High School as well?" Samantha asked me which caught my attention.
"I didn't know that. Why are you bringing it up?" I asked her.
"I bring it up because the professor thought that it was a good idea for you to come with us to Bayville instead of studying exclusively at the mansion. He thinks it will make you more comfortable." Samantha said as she crossed her arms.
"Huh. Seems legit." I said with a shrug as I got my bowling ball again and rolled it once more but this time, I only got about three pins before I had to take my seat as the pins reset.
"You really are a go with the flow type of guy Ken." Alison said as she went next and the night went on like that as we had a good time at the bowling alley before we came back to the mansion.
[The next day]
It was early in the morning when I went with my fellow x-men in training towards Bayville High School and honestly it is a pretty average high school as I have my backpack on my back with basic street clothes on and I decide to walk into my first class, and I promptly introduce myself to the class before taking my seat.
"Alright everyone just because we have a new student joining us doesn't mean that I am going to go easy with the studies so prepare your notes." The teacher said to everyone as a few students groaned as class started.
Now school is pretty uneventful and soon enough I get to study hall in the school library and study a few books when I discover something strange.
You have discovered a skill book! Now skill books are by no means rare in this modern day and age, but certain skills come in sets, and you have a limit of learning from one skill book a week! Now that isn't to say that you can't read the book and learn the old-fashioned way! This just means that once you learn a skill or a set of skills from one book you can't instantly learn any other skills for a whole seven days!

After reading the message I hit the no option and I quickly look over the other books I gathered before I get up and start looking at the various book stations that this library has.
Honestly all the skills in this library can be helpful but at the moment I need some more power and being able to learn magic will be helpful given how many 'magic spell' books exist in popular culture.
"Okay I think I found something." I said to myself as I found a rather interesting book named [Psychic Energies].

"Awesome." I said to myself as this unlocked new doors for me but I can't help but wonder about the skills I am missing out on since this skill set apparently didn't mesh well with my class choice.
"If I go by the name of the skills that means I am basically missing out on things like telekinesis or mind reading and stuff." I said as I looked on at the book in my hand as I expected it to vanish or disappear or something, but it stayed firmly in my hands as I opened the book and gave it a quick read and honestly these powers seem pretty useful.
"Study hall is about to end so I'd better split." I said to myself before I gathered my things and headed towards my next class.

The school day was pretty uneventful but something exciting did happen when the school day let out and what happened was that a man was none other than Kraven the Hunter promoting his own tv show.
"Behold one and all as I Kraven will take you on a mighty hunt through New York." Kraven said to his camera crew as a sizeable crowd had gathered around him. "Today we are going to be hunting the one and only mutant criminal known as Sabretooth." Kraven said proudly as that actually piqued my interest for various reasons.
The main one is that Sabretooth apparently isn't allied with Magneto and might be operating solo but that also begs the question about why Kraven is hunting Sabretooth in the first place.
"Ken there you are." A familiar voice said from behind me as I turn around and see none other than Jean and Bobby.
"Hey. What's up?" I asked causally.
"Ken, we need to go. A dangerous mutant is attacking the city and the police are struggling." Jean whispers to me so nobody else could hear and I simply nodded my head and followed Jean and Bobby back to the school where we go to the vacant changing rooms as my teammates apparently bring suits to school and Bobby was kind enough to bring me a suit as well.
So, soon enough I change into my black and yellow X-men suit and meet up with Jean, Alison, Kitty, Samantha, Bobby and Rogue outside and behind the school in a spot where cameras can't catch us. Which is weird since none of us where masks except for Samantha since her visor hides her appearance and Bobby is perfectly fine since he is in his ice form.
"So, what's the plan here?" I asked as Samantha spoke up.
"Kraven is hunting for Sabretooth, but we need to beat him to the punch and catch Sabretooth before he causes anymore damage during this rampage of his." Samantha explained before she looked at me. "Also remember to use codenames in the field." Samantha said before she then looked at Rogue. "Are you sure your up for this?"
"I'll be fine." Rogue said before something came to mind.
"Wait. What are the codenames?" I asked before they told me the names. Cyclops (Obviously) and then came Iceman, Shadow-Cat, Rogue who finally told me her real name is Anna, Dazzler and lastly was myself and I needed a codename, and a name came to me, and it was the name of a fun character from the mortal kombat universe.
"My codename will be Chameleon." I said proudly.
"Isn't that a bit on the nose?" Kitty asked as I gave her a smile.
"Nope." I simply told her before we moved out as Jean made sure that we were hidden from people as we made our way through the city until we came up to the scene of carnage as several police cars where ripped apart and policemen who where either dead or unconscious laid on the ground and in the center of the chaos is none other than Sabretooth himself and so far Kraven is nowhere in sight.
"I'm only going to say this once! Stand down!" Samantha shouted as Jean stopped hiding us with her powers and some of the people who looked on at the scene saw up appear and honestly, I would feel better if we had back u but right now it is just us and Wolverine's evil brother.
The noises of police cars were loud but that was a good thing since Alison's powers would be usable in a scene like this which could help distract Sabretooth.
"Well look at this. Xavier's brats are trying to tell me what to do and little Logan isn't anywhere to found. I can't even smell the bastard." Sabretooth said as he looked at us and the man looks like a humanoid lion…Not literally but he is just as intimidating as he is massive in height and size and is wearing basic street clothes, but his claws and teeth are on clear display and his blonde hair goes down to his shoulders and his eyes are an amber color and seem to lack pupils.
"You're dealing with us now." Samantha said back as Sabretooth simply chuckled.
"Pathetic." Sabretooth said and before we could do anything our vision of Sabretooth was obscured by flames as a guy in street clothes suddenly came out of nowhere…No he came out of some sort of portal along with four other people who had the punk rock look going on.
These are basically grunts but how the hell did Sabretooth of all people manage to get grunts?
"Where seriously missing something." I whispered to myself before a new alert appeared in front of me.
Battle has commenced!
The fire mutant sent another wave of heat towards us that Iceman managed to nullify with his ice.
"Jean you're with me. The rest of you need to take down these thugs while we deal with Sabretooth." Cyclops ordered as she fired a focused eye laser at Sabretooth who dodged out of the way as the laser hit a car and knocked it over as Sabretooth decided to rush Samantha but was stopped thanks to Jean but I took my attention away from them and had to deal with these mooks as Iceman took on the flame caster while Kitty, Rogue, Dazzler and I had to deal with these other mutants.
"Where giving you this once chance to stand down." I said loudly to the mutants as they laughed.
"Surrender. You X-men think your hot shit kas you're the good mutants but let me tell you that your whole image is about to change. And you ain't gonna like it." The leader of the group said as glass shards seemed to come out of his body and rocket towards us as we all move out of the way and I put my new skill to use.
Psychic Blast!
The skill wasn't invisible as I made an amber looking ball appear in the center of the three hostile mutants and it exploded with a shockwave of kinetic force instead of exploding with fire and what not as the three of them where each knocked back.
The skill doesn't do much damage, but it serves as a good distraction, and I also took note that the fire mutant didn't seem to care about his friends or whatever as he focused on trying to melt Iceman which wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
"What was that?" Kitty asked in shock.
"In addition to camouflage I have some minor Psychic abilities but right now we need to focus." I told her as Dazzler was the first to attack as she absorbed some of the sound around her and blasted the three mutants with a large beam of light that didn't harm them but when it made contact it hit them with a massive burst of light that had us covering our eyes as the three of them screamed.
"Fuck! I can't see!" The girl of the group shouted as she rubbed her eyes.
"You bitch!" The short one shouted as he was blinded as well but he raised his hand at where we where at before he attacked us with what looked like green lightning and in that moment the world seemed to slow down as I mentally activated my psychic barrier and reinforcement skill and the next moment before I could even blink the lightning bolt hit me which had sent me flying into a car windshield.
"Fuck." I groaned in pain as I wasn't dead but instead, I was really hurt. Hell, the only reason I'm alive right now is because of my skills that I activated.

"Not worth it." I said in pain as I slowly got off the car as Dazzler blasted the short lightning mutant with a beam of light that sent him flying this time and knocked him out as Kitty and Rogue closed the distance with the other two and knocked them out with basic hand to hand combat.
Bobby also finished his enemy by freezing his hands before getting close and punched the guy out.
"Chameleon are you ok?" Dazzler asked me as she came up to me.
"I'll live." I said before I activated psychic healing by touching the wound on my chest as my suit had a bit of visible damage, but it wasn't too bad. "We need to help Cyclops and Marvel Girl." I told them as the fight wasn't going in our favor as Cyclops and Marvel Girl aren't being hurt but Sabretooth isn't really giving it his all either…Like he is acting as a distraction.
Then just like that we all heard a massive gunshot and saw Marvel Girl with a bullet through her chest. She was hovering in the air before she started falling after getting shot.
"Jean!" Cyclops shouted as she rushed to catch her as we ran up to them and luckily, she did catch Jean, but it was too late as we had gotten surrounded by a group of fully armed thugs being led by none other than Kraven who was holding what looks like a custom-made sniper rifle.
"Well, it seems that our prey took the bait." Kraven said smugly before it hit me that he was never hunting Sabretooth and that he simply advertised it as obvious bait to lure us into a trap and we fell for it like idiots.
"This was rigged from the start." I said as I glared at Kraven.
"Smart boy." Kraven said back to me with a cocky smile. "I've been paid big money to trap you mutants for my employers and help them get rid of you mutants once and for all. It's a shame really. I thought the X-men would make better prey than this." Kraven said as all the thugs readied their guns at us and honestly, I am not sure how we are going to get out of this.
Then suddenly Kraven's sniper was snatched out of his hand thanks to a string of web and the other goons each got hit with what looked like web bombs as they all got stuck together by a large burst of spiderwebs and at first I thought it was Spiderman that saved us but our hero who stood on top of a car wasn't Spiderman and instead is the one and only Ghost-Spider.
"Is this a private party or can I join in?" Ghost-Spider said as Kraven snarled as he turned his back to look at Ghost-Spider which gave us the chance we needed as everyone was distracted.
Luckily Sabretooth was also gummed up with webs, but he made quick work of them but not before Cyclops blasted him with her eye beams which sent him flying backwards into another wrecked car.
"Dazzler give us a light show." Cyclops ordered quickly as Dazzler did just that and blinded the baddies with a blast of light which allowed us to get away as I used my psychic blast repeatedly to knock all the baddies back.
"Assholes." I said as Bobby trapped the baddies in ice as Spider-Ghost had Kraven occupied which meant that we can handle Sabretooth. "Rogue stay with Cyclops and Marvel Girl. The rest of us can handle Sabretooth." I told her as I rushed in towards Sabretooth.
This would be my only chance to deal damage to him since he is hurt and currently healing as I blast him repeatedly with my psychic blast before he got annoyed and tried to rush me and thankfully Cyclops blasted Sabretooth once more and this time it put him down even if it was only temporary.
Jean is still hurt so I rush over to her while the others help Ghost-Spider deal with Kraven as I see that Cyclops had put Jean down and was keeping pressure on the wound.
"Ok this is new to me, but I think I can help stabilize her." I said as I put my hand on Jean's shoulder as I begin using psychic healing on her and surprisingly the skill gives me feedback on Jean's body as the bullet went through her chest and didn't stay in her body which was obvious given the exit wound between her breast, but the information was useful all the same as I forced all my power into the skill to make it heal her faster.
"And that's that." Ghost-Spider said as she had apparently webbed up Kraven thanks to the help of Kitty, Dazzler and Iceman as they each came up to us as Jean opened her eyes and I felt my psi energy bottom out which stopped the skill.
"Marvel Girl are you okay?" Cyclops asked as Jean held her wound.
"My powers can stop it from getting worse, but I should be fine in no time thanks to Chameleon. Whatever he did helped wake me up." Marvel Girl said as that did explain why the wound stopped getting worse.
My powers didn't outright heal her and instead her own powers stopped the wound as I was only a catalyst to help her wake up and save her own life.
"Well, if your all good than I'll just be on my way." Ghost-Spider said before she was about to leave.
"Wait." I said as I went up to her. "Thank you for helping us. We would be dead right now if it weren't for you." I told her as she shrugged.
"Just doing my job." Ghost-Spider said simply before she web swinged away as I thanked my lucky stars that she showed up when she did.
Also it raises some more questions but I'll get to those questions later and soon enough the police show up and question us but since we are X-men that are well known they don't arrest us for being vigilantes but they aren't happy with us either.
They more or less blame us for this incident which doesn't seem fair or anything but it's not like I can do anything about it and soon enough we make our way back to the school where we change back into our regular clothes and make our way back to the mansion as everyone keeps checking Jean to make sure she is alright, but she assures everyone that she is.
It didn't stop Samantha from getting Hank to check Jean out in the medical lab and the moment I get into my room and lay down on my bed is when I see new windows appear in front of me.
Battle has ended!

"Ok that is something." I said as I still feel exhausted, but I am more than happy since I got some cash and free levels. The problem is that I am still week and need to train more and get stronger.
"Maybe I'll hit up the training room." I said to myself as I got up despite how tired I was and first I made my way to the kitchen where I steal someone's monster energy drink before I make my way to the training room where I see Logan training alone in the simulation room.
I didn't go in the room and instead I saw that it was active due to the control room that resided outside of the actual room itself.
"I'm guessing you came here to train too." A voice said as I look at the doorway and see none other than Alison herself as she entered the control room.
"Yeah. Today was too close a call and we got chewed out by Xavier for going in recklessly, so I want to try and sharpen my skills a bit so I'm not useless like I was earlier." I told her.
"How where you useless? Other than pissing off Samantha by giving the group orders you took charge and stepped up when it mattered, and you totally showed off those new powers of yours." Alison said to me as I tried not to let that compliment go to my head.
"Thanks, but it doesn't change the fact that I need to do better and being given the cold shoulder by Samantha probably means that I am not going to be invited to group training sessions for a while." I said as Alison chuckled.
"Don't worry about Sam. She's just upset that Jean got hurt and for the record she wouldn't kick you out of the training sessions. She would make them ten times harder just for you." Alison clarified and that somehow felt terrifying.
"Got it." I said before I realized something. "The gym isn't being used right now so do you want to train there?" I asked her as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Sure. I'm game." Alison said simply as we made our way to the gym where we did some standard exercises for about two hours before we both had to call it due to exhaustion and I ended up going back to my room and I passed out on my bed.

Unknown Location!
Midnight!
Currently looking into a crystal ball of all things is a woman known as Selene Gallio aka the Black Queen of Hellfire as she has fair skin with a shapely figure and elbow length black hair as she is dressed in a black sleeveless dress and heels as her hands hover over the crystal ball as the image in the center of it was none other than Ken himself who was asleep on his bed.
"He is already getting stronger. Good." Selene said as she watched over the young man with sharp calculating eyes.
"Are you going to explain why you want him so badly?" An old and silk like voice said as a haunting figure entered the dark room Selene was in as this figure with bronzed skin and long white hair that shined through the darkness is none other than the kind of darkness himself.
Vlad Dracula.
"He is going to be an important piece in our plan." Selene said sharply.
"There is more to that then you let on. Don't try to play me for a fool Selene. I could easily force you to tell me what I want to know." Dracula said coldly as it wasn't a threat but more like he was stating a simple fact.
"Force me? You would die before you lay a single claw on me Vlad. Now the reason I want him is my own business and the only reason I don't take him by force is because I need him to grow stronger before he is of any use to me and these 'X-men' are giving him the perfect place to learn and perfect his gifts." Selene explained as Dracula crossed his arms over the elegant black and white Transylvanian suit he wore.
"He is another one of your descendants." Dracula boldly said but it didn't unnerve Selene in the slightest.
"And?" Selene asked back as Dracula scoffed.
"If you want to waste your time with familial bonds than go ahead but this world is going to be swallowed up by the shadows soon and I won't let you or anyone else stand in my way." Dracula said coldly before he turned his back to Selene. "The clock is ticking." Dracula said before he walked out of the room.
Selene however wasn't concerned with what Dracula had said and was instead focused on Ken before she made the image on the crystal ball vanish from thin air.
"Soon. You'll come into power soon and then you'll stand by my side Ken. A mother and son being reunited. But if you stand against me, I will feed you to Dracula myself." Selene said coldly as she needed her son to be stronger so she can reach her true goal.
The goal of not only killing Dracula but killing the other would-be world conquerors so she and her son could rule without any competition getting in the way. Granted world domination isn't what she wanted but it was the only way she could find out the secretes she needed to know in order to bind death to her soul and attain true immortality without becoming a blood sucking vampire or other form of monster.
"Damn it." Selene said as she looked at her hand and saw that it had started to wrinkle. "I need to drain someone else now." Selene said as her clock was ticking down faster than she hoped but she would hold on.
True immortality was within her reach, and she won't let a soul take it away from her.

A/N: Okay so things are getting juicy and we are barely getting started. Now I don't have much to say but I will say that the world is losing a lot of good people lately.
The creator of Berserk, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh, the Queen and a whole lot of other people are passing away and it is really sad, but we must go on and live our lives.
