"This looks perfect, guys!" Excitement was coating Emma's voice, and she could barely contain herself as she looked around.

Granny's Diner was completely transformed. Regina would be walking through an arch made of yellow balloons. Little round tables with white yellow tablecloths had been put up. The lamps had been abandoned in favor of fairy lights. The table decorations were little yellow baby booties and little yellow prams. Belle, who was incredibly creative had made those, and Emma had of course praised her for them. One of the walls was adorned with a huge banner saying: 'WE'RE WAITING FOR YOU, BLUEBERRY'. That had been Ruby's idea. She had said that 'baby Mills' was wrong and 'baby Swan Mills' was too long to put on a banner, and she was entirely right about that. Blueberry sounded cute and everyone invited to the baby shower knew that Emma and Regina called the baby 'Blueberry'.

But Ruby and Belle weren't the only ones who had been creative. Emma was the mastermind behind the alternative to the traditional gift table. She and her dad had found a beautiful, antique, white crib with a canopy and everything. Emma had fallen head over heels for it, and she knew that Regina would love it too. Her dad had very sneakily drove off to pick up the crib one afternoon when Emma and Regina had eaten lunch at the little Italian place. He had placed the crib in their garage, and when the deed was done, he had sent Emma a smirking emoji.

The crib was a gift from Emma and her parents, and it was the plan that it could double as a gift 'table'. Meaning that the guests could put their gifts in the crib rather than on a table. Emma considered herself to be a genius. Even though she probably wasn't the first one who had come up with this idea.

The little round tables and chairs were identical. Except for one of the chairs. The chair Regina was going to sit in. Emma had decided that Regina should sit in a comfortable plushy chairs with lots of cushions and the possibility to lean back, or put up her feet if she needed to. This was Regina's party, she was the main 'attraction' here, and Emma would be damned if she wasn't comfortable during her own party.

Above the chair, an umbrella was attached to it. To ensure that Regina wouldn't end up with yellow confetti in her air. This was a baby shower after all.

Aside from the little yellow booties and prams, the tables were decorated with little blueberries and other fruits and vegetables. Because Emma and Regina had compared the baby's size to fruit and vegetables all throughout the pregnancy. That had been Emma's mom's idea, and Emma found it to be brilliant.

She was also particularly hyped about the food. Vegan sushi with no fish. Mini grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches.Bacon-wrapped dates speared on toothpicks. Regina loved bacon. And she had been craving dates recently. Win-win.

Quiche Lorraine. Parmesan chips. Mini sliders made by Eugenia Lucas herself. Blueberry muffins. And of course the red velvet cake for dessert. Wrapped around it was a yellow bow made entirely of marzipan, and atop of it, Granny had carefully sculped a pair of adorable baby feet peeking out from under a yellow blanket. Emma absolutely loved that cake. She had fawned over it several times, and she had a feeling that Regina would do the same.

The drinks were in place too. Plenty of mocktails with fruity taste to match the taste of the alcoholic drinks Regina were starting to miss.

Of course there was a whole arsenal of games planned as well. One of those were 'onesie decoration'. Which basically just consisted of the guests being given a marker so they could either draw or write something cute on a onesie. The diaper game was sort of the game. Each guest were given a diaper, a marker and the task to write a funny message. But the twist was that neither Regina nor Emma was allowed to see the message. Not until they were facing a midnight diaper change. Emma was quite excited about that.

Another game was 'clay baby'. Each guest would be given a clump of clay and ten minutes to create the cutest baby they possibly could. There was also the diaper game. That involved a timer too. And a roll of toilet paper. Ten minutes to create a diaper. And of course there was the good old 'don't say baby' game.

They were also going to try and guess old nursery rhymes. Emma had a feeling that her mom was going to win that particular game.

But there were also games Emma had 'banned' from the baby shower. The whole 'chocolate in diaper' game, was one she found to be gross, and she knew that Regina would find it to be gross too. So that was a no-no.

Another game that Emma had banned was 'guess how big the belly is'. She didn't want Regina to potentially get upset about the answers. She knew that Regina was still trying to get adjusted to her ever growing belly and all that.

"I know, we're geniuses," Ruby boasted. "Think Regina will like it?"

"She'll love it," Emma said warmly. "You guys have done such an amazing job, and I'm so sorry I haven't been able to help out more."

"Difficult with Regina there," Eugenia said with a little huff. "Stop apologizing, girl. Ruby and I had fun with this. This is the first time there has been a baby shower in the diner."

"But hopefully not the last," Emma said as she looked around again. She was in complete awe.

"No, the next baby shower will be for my granddaughter and Belle," Granny said casually.

"Grandma!" Ruby sputtered. "That is like, way, way too soon to even think about-"

"Nonsense, it's ever too early," Granny waved her off. "You mark my words, young lady. One day, you and Belle will follow in Emma and Regina's footsteps."

"Did you drink out back or something?" Ruby scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Belle and I have been dating for five minutes."

"Don't be a silly goose."

Emma laughed at their banter. And thought to herself that it could be very, very cute if Belle and Ruby had a baby.

But one baby at the time, though. And tonight it was all about Blueberry. And Regina.

"This is perfect," Emma said, gushing all over again. Then her phone chimed, and upon checking the message, Emma grinned from ear to ear. The secret guest had arrived too. Perfect.

"Well, I better get going," she said, stuffing her cellphone back in her pocket.

"Oh yeah," Ruby agreed. "Better to be home before Regina wakes up so she doesn't suspect anything."

"Exactly." Emma winked conspiratorially at her friend. "Gotta be sneaky and all that."

"And you have been," Ruby chuckled. "She isn't suspecting a thing, is she?"

"Nope, she doesn't have a clue," Emma said happily. "I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees all of this! Are you guys sure that everything is ready?"

"Emma." Ruby let out a long suffering sigh. "Yes, everything is ready. Completely and utterly ready. Okay?"

"Okay, okay, I'm just asking because-"

"Trust what my granddaughter is saying," Granny interrupted, wagging a finger at Emma. "And run along home now. Regina might already be awake and wondering why you aren't home. You don't want to worry her, do you?"

Naturally, this sent Emma on her way immediately. She said goodbye to Ruby and Eugenia and left the diner.

She whistled to herself as she walked down the street. It was good to have seen with her own eyes that everything indeed was ready for tonight. The food. The décor. The guests. Now all she needed was to 'lure' Regina to Granny's tonight. But she had a feeling that wouldn't be too hard. Emma was pretty sure that all she had to do was drop a comment or two about the delicious burgers.

God, she couldn't wait to see the look on Regina's face when she saw the banner, gifts and décor and everything. Emma was positive that Regina wasn't expecting any kind of baby shower. She hadn't mentioned anything or given any hints whatsoever. And Regina was the type of person to give hints, Emma had discovered.

Emma sniggered to herself. Regina was going to get the surprise of her life tonight. And Emma was going to do everything in her power to assure that it would be a perfect night for Regina.

Emma was as quiet as a mouse as she slipped inside her childhood home. The house was quiet, but she found her mom in the kitchen. She was sitting at the table with her laptop open. She smiled when she saw Emma. "Was everything as you wanted it to be, honey?"

"It was perfect. Totally ready for tonight." Emma glanced around. "Is Regina still asleep?"

"Yes," her mom said with a smile. "Luckily. The baby sure kept her up late last night."

"He did, yeah, poor thing."

Yes, Blueberry had indeed been keeping Regina up late last night. He had kicked and kicked, and Regina had been forced to get out of bed because it was too uncomfortable for her to lie down. She had ended up venturing downstairs. With Emma hot on her heels, of course. She had immediately dismissed it when Regina started mumbling that Emma didn't have to go with her.

Nonsense. Of course Emma had to go with her. She was determined to be present for every aspect of the pregnancy. Including the aspects taking place at two in the morning.

Regina had walked up and down the living room floor, rubbing her back and muttering lowly in Spanish to herself. A more than a little vexed with the situation. Her misery had only ended when Emma's mom came downstairs. She had asked what was going on, and upon having been explained the situation, she had instructed Emma to rub Regina's stomach in a particular way that seemed soothing for the little one.

It had worked. After about fifteen minutes, Blueberry had stopped the kicking spree, and Regina had been on the verge of tears from gratitude. Blueberry had been kicking extremely hard, and it had been quite painful.

"You were really great last night," Emma said to her mom.

"Your father used to do the same for me when I was pregnant with you." Her mom smiled. "It made me a little sentimental to see you help Regina in the same way."

"Oh god," Emma rolled her eyes. "If you're getting sentimental already, how are you going to handle being present at the birth?"

"Simple. I'll be bawling my eyes out."

Emma laughed because there was no way her mom would do that. At least not until after the baby had been born. During the birth, she would be a rock of strength and encouragement. It was Emma's own reaction that 'concerned' her. She too wanted to be strong and supportive. But she feared that she would be bawling like a baby the entire time.

"I think I'll go and see if Regina is awake," she said, leaving the kitchen.

Gently pushing the door to the bedroom open, she found Regina very much asleep still. Her dark hair was fanning out on the pillow, and she had an arm protectively wrapped around her baby bump.

Emma jokingly thought to herself that if it hadn't been for the photo album being wrapped already, she could definitely have snapped a few pictures right now and added them to the album.

For now, she settled for sitting down on the edge of the bed. She gently ran her fingers through Regina's hair with intention. She knew that Regina did not like to sleep in when she was in Storybrooke. She was afraid that it was coming across as rude that she just slept when visiting.

Emma had tried telling her that it was silly a number of times already. No one thought of Regina as rude because she slept in. But she respected Regina's wishes to be woken up.

"Hey there, sweetheart," she hummed when Regina stirred and said something in Spanish.

"¿Ya es de mañana?" Regina rumbled, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"," Emma sweetly teased. "It is already morning."

"Mmmm." Regina lifted a hand and cupped Emma's cheek. "You're all cold, querida. Have you been outside? You smell all fresh and wintery…"

"And you smell of warm bed. All cozy and… delicious."

Regina let out a hoarse morning laughter that was positively sexy. "If this hadn't been your parents' house, I would have invited you to come back to bed…"

"When we have our own place, I'll be taking you up on that offer every single time," Emma vowed.

Regina laughed again. "Querida, when we have our own place, we'll also have a tiny baby to take care of. And absolutely no time for anything else."

"It'll be glorious."

"I know." Regina sat up and stretched her arms above her head. Ran her fingers through her hair. Then rubbed her belly. "Guess who's awake."

"Hi, Blueberry," Emma cooed, bowing her head, drawing Regina's shirt up and kissing her exposed belly. "Thank you for going to sleep last night so your mama could get some sleep as well. Highly appreciated."

"Very." Regina stood from the bed and looked like she was struggling to find her balance for a second.

"Woah." Emma was quick to grab her elbow. "Are you dizzy?"

"A little. But it's fine. I'm just hungry. And my center of gravity is all messed up." Regina chuckled.

Emma settled with that.

A few moments later, they headed downstairs. Regina was dressed casually in leggings and a long sweater. She had showered and tied her hair back in a braid. No makeup. She looked exceptionally gorgeous, and Emma had already told her that a number of times. Regina had been all adorable and blushed.

Because of the secret baby shower later, Emma hadn't arranged anything. No walks. No drives anywhere. She wanted Regina to save all her energy for tonight. Of course her dad would come over later. For lunch. He had told Regina that he had a work related phone call this morning, but really he was doing some secret stuff related to the baby shower.

They were sitting at the kitchen table when Emma's dad walked in. He had been at the bakery again. To get chocolate croissants for Regina.

"Me estás echando a perder," Regina said, shaking her head. But her eyes lit up when she looked at the croissants.

"You deserve to be spoiled," Emma said simply.

Regina poured herself a cup of the herbal tea Emma's mother so lovingly had made for her. "There is actually something I have been thinking about."

"Alright." Emma was immediately a bit alert because Regina sounded so serious. "What is it?"

"Well, I know we haven't quite found a first name for the baby yet, but I was thinking about middle names."

"Oh, that's great." Emma smiled now. They had talked about middle names for the baby before, but they had never quite found the right one. Yet. "Have you gotten some ideas?"

"I have actually." Regina looked a bit nervous as she glanced between Emma and her parents. "If the baby is a girl, I was thinking that we could give her the middle name 'Margaret', and if it is a boy, 'David' could be his middle name."

Emma couldn't quite find the words to describe what she was feeling right now. Regina wanted to give their child her parents name as middle name? If that wasn't the sweetest, most touching thing in the world, Emma didn't know what was!

Her lack of response immediately caused Regina to look sheepish. "I mean I was just thinking-" she nervously peered at Emma's parents. "You have been so wonderful to me. Welcoming me with open arms and just accepting me despite everything, and already so loving towards your nieto, but-" she glanced at Emma again. "Maybe it is not such a good idea?"

"Beautiful girl." Emma took her hand and looked her square in the eyes. "It is a wonderful idea. It's actually the sweetest thing I have ever heard in my life." She looked at her parents. "What do you guys think?"

"Well.." her mom's voice was all rough and her eyes suspiciously misty. "I cannot say how happy and honored I feel, Regina."

"Me too," David said, reaching across the table and patting Regina's hand. "You've just proven once again why you are the best daughter-in-law anyone could ask for."

Regina chuckled and warned: "si dices más me pondré a llorar."

"And we can't have that." Emma kissed the side of her head and whispered in her ear: "you are so sweet. I love that you want to honor my parents like this."

"But perhaps you two should try and find a first name for the little one soon," Emma's mother interjected, poignantly ignoring their little moment.

Emma and Regina groaned in unison. "It is so hard," Emma said and shook her head. "I feel like we've considered at least a million different names, but…"

"Nothing feels quite right," Regina added and sighed. "I mean, there were a few that were good."

"But they weren't great."

"Exactamente." Regina took a sip of her tea.

"Well, I am sure you will think of something soon enough," David said encouragingly. "And there is still a little while to go."

"It doesn't really feel like it," Regina quipped and rubbed her belly. "Sometimes I don't even know how I still manage to get out of bed in the morning."

Emma chuckled. "Well, I can assure you that you look extremely graceful."

"Look at you lying in such a sweet manner."

"Hey, I am so not lying!" Emma huffed.

"Then you're biased, querida."

"I am not," Emma muttered. But the protest wasn't very powerful. She was actually totally biased.

Emma's mother chuckled at their banter and told Regina: "you look great, Regina. You really do."

"Gracias, Mary Margaret," Regina beamed. "Tell me, did you find it as hard to get on your feet when you were pregnant with Emma?"

"Oh yes." Emma's mother chuckled again. "Sometimes I had to shout for Emma's father so he could come and pull me up."

Emma was of course quick to declare that she would love to come and pull Regina up whenever she needed it.

"Mi caballero de brillante armadura," Regina said fondly, and Emma immediately felt incredibly important even though she had not done anything yet…

When evening came, Emma's parents and Regina's father disappeared. The official explanation was that they were going on a walk in the area to introduce Henry to the places Emma and Regina hadn't yet shown him. But actually, they had gone to Granny's to help with the last bit of preparation.

Emma sat in the living room with Regina. Regina was watching television. Emma was rubbing her feet and faking watching television. What she actually was doing, was keeping an eye on her phone. She was waiting for the secret signal. Meaning that she was waiting for her dad to text her.

That happened half an hour later. 'Operation Blueberry is a go', the message said, and Emma smiled to herself. It was time to get rolling.

"Hey, beautiful girl?"

"Mmmhmmm?" Regina lifted her head and blinked slightly at Emma. "Is something wrong, querida?"

"No, not at all. I was just wondering if you wanted to go grab some burgers?"

"Tonight?" Regina stretched lazily. "Can't we just make something here instead?"

Actually no. "We could," Emma said slowly, knowing that she had to improvise now. "But I just thought it could be nice to go out. You've talked so much about those turkey burgers…"

"But I'm not going home until next week," Regina chuckled. "There's plenty of time, mi amor."

There absolutely wasn't. If she couldn't convince Regina to go to Granny's with her tonight, the entire thing would be ruined. "You're making it very hard for me to ask you out, sweetheart?"

"Ask me out?"

"Mhmm. That's kinda what I'm trying to do here." Emma gave a goofy laugh and squeezed Regina's foot. "You know… be a little romantic and all that. There hasn't been a lot of time for that with our parents around all the time."

"Oh." Regina frowned softly and seemed to consider it. "I suppose you're right about that…"

"Yeah?" Emma squeezed her foot again. "Wanna go out with me, beautiful girl?"

"." Now Regina smiled. "I'd love to. Alright, querida. You win. I'll go upstairs and change." She pulled her feet out of Emma's lap and rose from the couch. "I'll hurry!"

"Awesome!" Emma felt a little bad about chasing Regina out of the house like this, but again, she had to.

While Regina was in the bedroom, Emma crept into the bathroom where she had hidden her pink dress earlier. Tonight was for celebration, and she wanted to look nice. Her hair was already hanging in soft curls, and she was wearing more makeup than usually. Regina had commented on that, and Emma had given vague answers.

Twenty minutes later, they were walking down Main Street. Regina looked as cute as a button in the dress she was wearing under her coat. The dress was midnight blue, had a fitted bodice but flared out at the waist. There was a little bow just below her chest that accentuated Regina's baby bump beautifully. The skirt ended just below Regina's knees and the bodice showed a hint of cleavage. Regina's hair had been rolled into a soft bun held together by a hair piece shaped as a flower in the same color as her dress. She was wearing hoop earrings and had put on makeup. Of course with her trademark red lipstick as finishing touch. She looked perfect, and Emma had already told her so several times.

"I thought I better made an effort since we're going out tonight," Regina chuckled and pulled a face.

"Is that your back hurting again?" Emma asked worried.

"Little bit, but I'll be fine. Don't worry."

"It's hard not to."

"You worry too much, querida."

"I can't help it. It's you."

"Now you're just being silly."

Emma huffed and muttered a low threat that had Regina waggling an eyebrow and ask: "is that a promise, querida?"

"Don't get saucy with me," Emma warned and tried to sound stern. "We're going on a date, remember?"

"But dates are meant for flirting."

Emma suffocated a smile. Unfortunately for Regina, she would not get the chance to flirt tonight. A baby shower wasn't really the ideal place for flirting, but hopefully Regina would be fine with that once she walked in and saw how Granny's Diner had been decorated.

"Come on," Emma chirped, putting a hand on Regina's lower back to steer her.

"¿Cual es la prisa?"

"The hurry is that it's a cold evening, and I don't want you to freeze."

Regina chuckled. "I think you might be exaggerating a bit, querida."

"I am not." She was just so very excited for Regina to see everything in Granny's Diner. Couldn't wait to see the look on Regina's face.

"Querida, it's okay. You can admit that you're excited about the burgers," Regina teased.

Emma went along on it and laughed too. Regina wasn't entirely wrong. Emma was in fact quite excited about the food.

"Glad I'm not wearing high heels," Regina commented, and Emma immediately felt a bit guilty because she probably was dragging her pregnant girlfriend along.

At last they made it to Granny's Diner, and as planned, the lights were switched off.

"Are you sure it's open tonight?" Regina questioned and lifted an eyebrow. "Place looks pretty closed to me."

"I'm sure it's open, come on," Emma chirped, taking Regina's hand and opening the door.

Regina stepped in, muttering in Spanish under her breath. She clearly didn't understand why the lights had been switched off and why Emma was acting so strange.

Emma grinned from ear to ear and silently counted the seconds. She was not thrown off by the darkness. It was all planned. And the diner wasn't abandoned at all. Right now, her friends and family were hiding in the darkness.

It happened as soon as the door had been closed and the little bell chimed.

The lights was switched on. Granny's diner was bathed in the glow from the fairy lights.

"SURPRISE!" was yelled from every corner of the diner, and Regina's jaw completely dropped.

The look on her face was one Emma would be cherishing forever. Regina looked completely dumbfounded as she saw Emma's parents, her father, Belle, Ruby and Granny herself stand in the diner, all smiling.

"¿Q-qué es esto?" Regina stuttered as she looked around and saw the fairy lights, the decorations, the balloon archway and all the food.

"This.." Emma slipped an arm around her waist and gave her a little squeeze. "Is your baby shower, beautiful girl."

"M-my baby shower?" Regina whispered.

"," the voice of the 'secret guest' teased, and Emma smiled when Lily emerged. She had stayed hidden behind Ruby and Belle.

"Lily!" Regina squealed, immediately throwing her arms around Lily and hugging her. The two of them had gotten close very quickly, and it had been unthinkable to throw a baby shower for Regina without inviting Lily.

Emma hadn't invited Cora. Her gut instinct had told her that Regina wasn't quite ready for that.

"W-where did you come from?" Regina asked, head whipping around as she looked at Emma.

"I picked her up, Cielo," Henry revealed with a chuckle.

"You did?" Regina gaped at her father.

"." He smiled and looked incredibly satisfied with himself.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world," Lily grinned. "Your dad picked me up this afternoon. But your sweet girlfriend was the one who arranged for me to come here. She actually arranged all of this."

"Not the food," Emma piped up. "That's all Granny and Ruby. And Belle made the decorations. My dad wrestled the tables in here. And my mom pulled some mayor strings so we could use this place for the party. So really, I was barely involved."

"Not true," Ruby scoffed. "You were the ones with all the ideas, Swan. The rest of us just chipped in a bit."

"It literally took a village," Granny joked.

Regina looked at Emma with eyes that were suspiciously misty. "You arranged a baby shower for me."

"Yeah, I did," Emma 'admitted'. "I thought to myself that things have been a bit hectic for you." She didn't go into details. Didn't mention Cora and her secret at all. Cora being with Malaina was still only something Emma, Regina, Henry and of course Lily knew. "You know, the whole broken leg thing first, and now we're planning to move to California, and I know that's stressful for you no matter what you say."

Regina didn't protest. Just lifted an eyebrow slightly.

"You've been balancing a lot of things lately, and there haven't been that much time for you to enjoy being pregnant," Emma continued. "Or enjoy the traditions that comes with it. A few weeks ago, I realized that you hadn't mentioned wanting to have a baby shower at all, and I thought to myself that that's not right. Of course you should have a baby shower. Of course we should celebrate you and the baby. I mean, duuh." Perhaps not so elegant, but at least she got her point across.

Regina reacted immediately. She threw her arms around Emma's neck and hugged her tightly. Kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear: "thank you so much, mi amor! Te amo mucho!"

"I love you too, sweetheart." Emma cupped Regina's cheeks. "So, does that mean that you're not mad?"

"¿Enojado? ¡No no no! ¡Por supuesto que no estoy enojado! ¡Todo esto es tan hermoso, Emma! ¡No puedo creer que hayas hecho todo esto por mí!"

Emma laughed and gave Regina an extra cuddle. "I only understood about half of that, but you sound pretty happy, so…"

"¡Estoy tan feliz!" Regina sniffled. "¡Ahora has hecho llorar a una chica embarazada!"

"Aww," Emma cooed along with everyone else. She kissed Regina's cheek. "Don't cry, babe. Come eat instead. We saved you the best seat."

Regina took one look at the plushy chair and started crying again…

She ended up doing that quite a lot that evening. Tears of joy upon tasting all the delicious food. Quiet sniffles when opening her gifts. The pregnancy pillow from Emma's mother. Regina's lower lip quivered when she thanked Emma's mom and told her how much it meant to her. The stuffing had come out of her old pregnancy pillow, so this couldn't have come at a better time.

"I am glad you like it, Regina, dear," Emma's mother beamed.

The baby bouncer from Emma's dad was a hit as well. Regina thanked him effusively and told him that she couldn't wait to see his grandson in the bouncer.

To Emma's delight, her dad had looked quite emotional about that comment.

Ruby and Belle gifted the baby with adorable yellow beddings and a onesie saying 'my mom is a badass!'

"Both of them," Ruby quipped as Regina hugged first her and then Belle.

"This bedding is so adorable," Regina gushed. "You guys have no idea how many times Emma and I have tried finding some nice bedding, but we've never been able to agree on anything!"

"But we can agree that this is perfect, right?" Emma joked.

"Sí, querida. This is indeed perfect."

From Granny there was a beautiful little unicorn mobile and a homemade, lime green baby blanket.

"For the baby's first swaddle," Granny said and smiled.

"This is so soft," Regina breathed as she touched the blanket. "It must have taken you ages to make. And the unicorn mobile is so beautiful! Now Blueberry will be warm and have something beautiful to look at while falling asleep. Thank you so much, Eugenia."

"Call me 'Granny'," Granny said with her usual rough laughter. "I'm already half of this town's granny. I don't mind being yours too. And besides, you are so much more well behaved than my actual granddaughter…"

"Hey!" Ruby piped up.

Regina laughed and gave Granny a hug.

Lily gifted Blueberry with a set of bottles in every color of the rainbow. "Variation is the spice of life," she grinned. "And I've heard that bottles are pretty necessary when doing the whole baby-thing, so…"

"They'll come in handy for sure," Regina smiled. "And so will these." She had just opened the second gift from Lily. An arsenal of pacifiers. In every color. And ocean themed.

"Since you guys are moving closer to the sea," Lily explained as Regina admired a seashell shaped pacifier.

"I can't wait for Blueberry to star using those," Emma cooed. She could already imagine how cute their baby would look.

Regina's father gifted his grandchild with a baby-bathtub. Which possibly was the cutest thing Emma had seen in her life.

"And this is for you, Cielo," he said softly as he reached within his pocket and held out a little box that could only contain some kind of jewelry.

"¿Qué es esto?" Regina asked curiously as she took the little box from her father and removed the lid.

Emma curiously peered over her shoulder and smiled at what she saw. It was a necklace. Made of silver. The pendant was shaped as a tree. Beautifully designed and amazingly detailed.

"A tree of life. For adding another branch to our family, Cielo."

Regina sniffled as she hugged her father tightly. "Es hermoso. ¡Muchas gracias, papi! Te amo…"

"Yo tambien te amo, Cielo." Henry kissed his daughter's cheek and Emma had to vipe a stray tear from the corner of her eye.

"Getting a little emotional there, Swan?" Ruby teased.

"Shut up," Emma hissed and tried not to cry upon watching Henry clasping the necklace around Regina's neck.

Regina smilingly touched her new necklace.

"It really suits you, beautiful girl," Emma complimented. "Do you see the crib all the gifts were in?"

"," Regina nodded.

"What do you think of it?"

"The crib?"

"Yeah."

"It is beautiful of course. And a very creative gift basket."

"You're right." Emma smiled. "It is a gift basket. A double gift basket. It was used to contain all the gifts for you, but… it is also a gift for you, beautiful girl."

"No…" Regina whispered.

"Yes," Emma grinned. "It is to Blueberry from my parents. His first crib. I have no idea how we transport it to Laguna Beach, but we'll find a way…"

"Dios mio!" Regina exclaimed, rushing over to Emma's parents and hugging them all over again while gesturing to the crib.

Emma smiled, extremely satisfied as she took a sip of her mocktail. Regina loved the presents. She loved the food, and she loved the decorations. This night was absolutely perfect. Emma was extremely happy she had taken it upon herself to arrange a baby shower for her girlfriend.

Finally, Regina was done hugging her parents, and Emma got her attention by waving a hand at her.

Regina willingly came trotting over to her.

"I have a little something for Blueberry too," Emma revealed, reaching into the crib and finding a soft, wrapped present.

"Querida, you already arranged all of this! You shouldn't have-"

"Sssh," Emma interrupted and laughed. "And open the present."

"Very well." Regina quickly ripped open the wrapping paper.

Emma was extremely excited as Regina lifted the teeny tiny red leather jacket and held it up.

"Oh my god." Regina's eyes sparkled. "Emma, this is perfect! Where did you get this?!"

"It may or may not be custom made," Emma revealed. "Don't you think Blueberry could look adorable wearing it?"

"Absolutely!" Regina laughed. "I cannot wait for us to dress Blueberry in this jacket! Just imagine the pictures!"

"Already am," Emma smiled. "And speaking of pictures…" she gently took the little red leather jacket from Regina and laid it down on one of the tables. Then she reached within the crib one last time. "I have one more gift for you."

"One more? But you've already-"

"Open it," Emma insisted. "Come on!"

"Alright, alright, I'm hurrying." Regina chuckled as she removed the blue wrapping paper. The brown leather photo album Emma had worked on for such a long time appeared.

Emma said absolutely nothing as she saw Regina open the album and flip through it. All their little moments were there. Regina in the botanical garden. Regina in sunglasses. The two of them posing together on Emma's first trip to Spain. Every stage of Regina's pregnancy was portrayed in this album, starting with Regina in full flamenco attire and ending with Regina smiling proudly as she tenderly cradled her pregnant belly. Every picture was carefully selected. Some of them were sweet, some of them silly, a few of them had a hint of flirting to it, and all of them were them. Their relationship. Starting as summer flirts and ending with Regina pregnant and her and Emma becoming a proper little family.

"E-Emma," Regina whispered. Tears spilled onto her cheeks. "This is… dios mio, I don't know what to say.."

"You don't have to say anything at all," Emma said softly. "But if you like it.. How about you just nod?"

Regina immediately began nodding rapidly, and then she was catapulting herself at Emma. Hugging her so fiercely it nearly made both of them topple over.

"Oh?" Regina tilted her head. "Sounds like a game I want to lose."

"Mmm, doesn't it?" Emma squeezed Regina's hips again. "Do you like your surprise?"

"Very much so, mi amor. This is… much more than a date at Granny's."

"Did you suspect anything?"

"No, nada. Not at any point."

"Good." Emma was entirely satisfied with that. "I am glad that I can still surprise you, baby."

Regina sputtered. "Querida, you just lost! You said the 'b'-word!"

"I know." Emma waggled an eyebrow. "Didn't I tell you? The consequences for losing is the same for me as it is for you…"

With that she leaned in and kissed Regina again…
