Corban sat across from Marvolo, his Lord and friend. Over the last few hours they had been discussing the Ministry's most recent action. They were in his drawing room. There were four comfortable armchairs, three of which were occupied. On one wall was a large window that overlooked the grounds. Given that it was spring plenty of light was coming in through the window. In another wall was a fireplace that was connected to the floo but could only be accessed by someone with the password. Corban would be alerted about anyone coming through.

The current Minister was trying crack down more on Creatures. Unsurprisingly Dumbledore was supporting it behind the scene. It made Corban sick to think about.

Despite what the Light liked to say about them, the Dark didn't believe in trying to control and dehumanize creatures. It was disgusting to treat them as less than muggles. Every time he tried to argue against increased restrictions he and the others were shot down.

Marvolo said drumming his fingers against the armrest, "At the rate Dumbledore is heading there will be an entire Creature Rebellion. If we thought the Goblin Rebellions were bad it will be nothing compared to all the creatures uniting under a single cause."

Corvus asked from his chair to Corban's right, "Do you think it will come to that, Marvolo? Sure the restrictions are bad now but they always have been bad. What would actually bring them into a war this time? Especially since almost all of the creatures have been notoriously neutral?"

All except for the Veelas who took the side of the Light against Grindelwald. Or the werewolves who took the side of Grindelwald in the last war. None of the creatures wanted to provoke the Ministries into furthering the restrictions. It was why when approached they refused to join. Only wishing to remain neutral.

It was Corban who answered, "They have been neutral in order to prevent the restrictions. When they see it won't work that way they will be more receptive to our offers. We can offer them help and actions towards removing the restrictions. Where the Light can only offer to "prevent" more being added not removing what is already in place."

Marvolo hummed but said nothing. The three fell into an easy silence. Each of them considering the options before them. There was only so much they could do in this situation. They could continue fighting but they did not have enough Lords on their side to win.

A pop sounded and his house elf Tilly appeared. She brought them wine and bourbon giving each Lord their preference. Tilly was one of the best house elves in the country. Many Lords would send their new elves to her to be trained properly. At least those who appreciated what their elves did for them.

As he took the first glass from Tilly, her head suddenly snapped up. Her head snapped to the side looking out the window. Corban opened his mouth to ask what was wrong. Only for the wards to scream a warning at him.

In seconds all three Lords were on their feet with wands in their hands. Before they could react a large pillar of magic black and grey followed by an explosion outside of the window. The shockwaves shattered the windows throwing all three Lords off their feet.

Corban was thrown back into his chair which promptly toppled over. Marvolo only skid a few feet with a flash of pain on his face symbolizing the strength of the attack. Corvus was thrown into the war wall and he collapsed in a heap.

Slowly, painfully Corban regained his feet his blue eyes searching for Tilly. The house elf like Corvus had been thrown into the far wall. She was not moving. If the attackers had killed his best elf they would feel his rage.

To Marvolo he asked, "My lord are you hurt?"

"Nothing that won't heal," answered Marvolo his eyes were blazing however, "Was that an intruder?"

Corban blinked before checking the wards. They were in tatters and he would need to contact Gringotts. There was an intruder. One who hadn't moved since the explosion. Whoever it was he didn't recognize their magical signature but they were dark. Very dark and powerful he realized.

He said painfully, "There is someone on the grounds. Marvolo he is extremely powerful and dark."

Marvolo gave him a sharp look, "One of ours?"

Corban shook his head and immediately regretted the action. His head spun and he had to grab the chair to steady himself. Concern flashed in his Lord's eyes but he waved the man off. Likely he had a concussion but that could wait until they assessed the threat.

Marvolo glared at the hole where the window once was as he said, "I'm going to see to our visitor. You see to Corvus and call a healer."

"Yes, Marvolo."

Hitting the ground with a pained grunt, Harrison felt grass under him. A warm heat beat down on his back. It was a far cry from what he had been used to for so long. Everything was silent around him. That meant he was no longer at Hogwarts. Had the clashing magic created a portal? He didn't think that was possible.

Opening his eyes he saw greener grass than he had seen in year. What the hell? Where was he? The war has destroyed their world. There shouldn't be any place that had grass like this.

Then he realized his vulnerable position and pushed himself into a standing position. The world swayed dangerously but he was able to remain standing. Barely.

A few dozen feet in front of him was a building. It was a large building four stories and from his position he couldn't see how far it went on each side. Above him on the third story where there should have been a window was now a hole. He winced. If this was a sanctuary he likely would be bringing down Zane and all of his men upon this place.

Harrison brushed a hand down his gear checking that everything was still there. To his surprise it was. Given how he arrived he almost expected to have lost a finger or two. Or possibly his sword. Yet he lost nothing.

Hoarsely he asked, "By the Blessed Mother, where am I?"

"Now that isn't something you hear every day," said a cold voice from behind him.

That wasn't possible. The man had been dead for over a decade. Harrison James Potter once known as the Boy Who Lived and who became the Leader of the Resistance turned around to find Tom Marvolo Riddle looking human in front of him.

"Now who are you?"
