Ichika managed to succeed in winning the first match against Iratin Genbu. Ichika already volunteered to take part in the second match, going up against Byako Shirotora. He was allowed to rest and give Byakushiki some power so that he'll be ready for the second match. Once he was good to go, he walked out where Byako was waiting for him.

"The second match is about to begin!" Sakyo announced as the two of them seemed ready.

"Are you ready to meet your doom?" Byako said.

"You seem pretty sure of yourself, but you saw what I did to your buddy. You two are the elite, right?" Ichika said.

"Don't think I'm as nice as Genbu is." Byako said. "I'm a tiger that likes to play and taunt with his food. Allow me to show you what I mean." He pulled out his own Shadow Unit and it became another copy that was all black. "Shadow Unit: Shenlong!"

"That's Rin's I.S.!" Ichika said.

"Ichika! You better take this guy out for copying me!" Rin cheered as she felt offended that this guy was using her I.S. against him.

"You heard the lady, Ichika! Take this guy out so I can get my turn!" Davis cheered.

"Let's do this!" Ichika said as he unleashed Byakushiki and was set to fight.

"I'm afraid you're out of luck." Byako said. "Out of all four of us, I end up being as your opponent. After all, I was the one that stole all that precious data that allowed us to create the Shadow Units in the first place, and this is only the beginning."

"Big whoop. They told me you ran off instead of staying to fight." Ichika said as he wasn't all that impressed or threatened.

"Perhaps, but you still won't win. The truth of the matter is that no one has ever been able to defeat me." Byako said.

"You're unbeatable?!" Ichika questioned.

"Just like I said. No one has ever defeated me, not even once." Byako claimed.

"There's a first time for everything!" Ichika said as he took the attack and went straight at Byako. He raised his sword, but Byako was ready for him. He took the two scimitar's and used them to block his attacks.

"Moron." Byako taunted as he powered up the cannons over his shoulders and blasted Ichika at point-blank. He was blown back from the attack and took some heavy damage.

"Idiot! The specialty of my I.S. is the cannons! They're more effective when the opponent gets close like that!" Rin called.

"Shenlong has less features than Schwarzer Regen did." Fria said. "If that's the case, I don't think this one has the same flaws as the last one."

"Less features, but more effective with the Shadow Units." Sierra said. Since this units is different from the last one, it might not have the same weaknesses. That means that Ichika might have a harder time against him.

"I'm starting to see why you love these things." Byako said. "These cannons can pack a real punch. Let's continue to have some fun." Byako went on the attack again. He kept both scimitars separated and tried attacking Ichika with both. When Ichika blocked one, Byako smashed the other against him. Then, he fired a series of shots at Ichika. Luckily, Ichika moved fast enough and avoided those attacks with him escaping up in the air. "Where do you think you're going?!" Byako flew after him and began to give chase to him. "Heads up, Orimura!" Byako threw a surprise at him as he threw one of the scimitars at Ichika.

"What the hell?!" Ichika moved out of the way just in time, but he ended up slowing down and that gave Byako an opening. He closed the distance again and blasted Ichika with the cannons again. Ichika took some heavy damage from that. He was able to regain his balance, but he needs to change his approach on this.

"Oh man. I'm used to fighting Rin with that I.S., but his style is so different from hers." Ichika complained. "I can't believe he actually threw one of his weapons at me like that."

"Are you surprised?" Byako said as he went and retrieved his weapon. "I'm not your friend. What were you expecting?" He taunted. "Honestly, you are a complete fool. How is it you and your friend are capable of using such powerful weapons? Do you just need to be complete idiots to use the I.S.?"

"Man, he's got a mouth on him." Ichika complained as he was getting annoyed with Byako.

"You might have defeated Iratin, but I'm not him. It's like I said. I'm not that nice!" Byako said as he just fired like crazy with his cannons. Ichika moved around as best as he could to avoid the shots. "These cannons have no blind spots! You can't run!" He just kept firing like he was trigger happy.

"That idiot! What is he doing out there?!" Rin said.

"Which one are you talking about? Doesn't he know those cannons work best when the opponent is up close?" Cecilia said.

"This guy is just whacked." Houki said. Byako just kept firing away with the cannons, but as long as he keeps shooting like that, Ichika can't get close enough to deal the finishing blow.

"Run all you like! There's nothing you can really do to..." Byako was talking like he was having a thrilling time, but it was all put to a stop when he saw the cannons weren't working anymore. He took a look and saw smoke was coming off from them and they were malfunctioning. "Oh dear... It looks like I overdid it and these things are overheating."

"Looks like that's my chance to finish this!" Ichika said as he had an opening and he wasn't going to waste it. He used the Ignition Boost and flew straight at Byako. Byako had no chance of reacting in time with Ichika smashing right against him and sent him flying into the wall and the crowd loving the damage he took. Byako took some heavy damage from that attack and was having hard time moving.

"Damn. That attack damaged this thing some good." Byako said.

"Looks like you're undefeated streak is coming to an end!" Ichika said as he powered up his final attack: Reiraku Byakuya. "It's over!" He flew straight at Byako and Byako had nothing to react against it. All he could do was lose or...

"Wait!" Byako shouted as he had his Shadow Unit vanished and Ichika stopped his attack. "I surrender!" That was certainly a shock and a surprise to what he just did.

"You what?!" Ichika said as none of them could believe he actually surrendered. "You're just going to surrender? Just like that?"

"Of course." Byako said as he just walked away. "It's like I said. No one has ever actually defeated me."

"That's what you meant?!" Ichika said as he couldn't believe he got fooled like that. Part of the reason Byako is undefeated is because he either wins or surrenders, but his opponents never truly defeated him.

"He always did come off as arrogant." Seyu complained. "I hope he's ready to face the consequences for something like this." As for Sakyo, it didn't really bother him that Seyu just forfeited the fight. He was more interested in what went wrong with the cannons.

"The compatibility between the I.S. and the Shadow Units is only twenty-percent. Their are still some complications, but it looks like it's going well." Sakyo said as he had no concern over it. The third match was about to begin. "Ryudoragon! Prepare yourself for it will be your turn!"

"Yes, Lord Qilin!" Seyu said as he got himself ready.

"I'm surprised that those two were defeated." Senku said.

"Well, just you wait. I shall not bring shame to Lord Qilin's name." Seyu said, but Senku wasn't interested in what he was saying as he just turned away. "Wait. Aren't you going to watch?"

"Na... I got to get ready for my own match. This one might not take long." Senka said.

"What's that suppose to mean?! Are you mocking?!" Seyu shouted at the screen as Senka walked away. "Hey! I'm speaking to you!" As for Ichika, he headed over to where Davis was as they were now switching out now.

"You okay?" Davis asked.

"Yeah, but I sure wasn't expecting a surrender. I figured those guys would fight to the end to win." Ichika said.

"Me either, but there's not much we can do." Davis said as he jumped into the arena. "It's now my turn."

"Go get them." Ichika encouraged as the two high-fived with Davis heading out there.

"Go, Davis!" Serene called.

"We know you can take them!" Kimi called. Davis walked out into the arena with the girls cheering for him and Seyu stepping into the ring himself.

"You're certainly a favorite. Can't imagine why." Seyu said.

"Spare me. I'm just interested that we get to settle what happened last time." Davis said. "You're not going to be a wuss if a girl opens her shirt, are you?" He mocked. Seyu was a little irritated, but he kept his composure.

"How degrading for you. I'm afraid this won't be like last time." Seyu said. "You are about to be pummeled in humiliation, shame, and completely one-sidedly." When he declared that, he activated his own Shadow Unit and it looked just like Blue tears but in black as well with him flying up in the air. "Shadow Unit: Blue Tears!"

"That's Cecilia's I.S.!" Davis said. "Well, either way, you're going down! Dragonic Heaven!" He unleashed the power of Dragonic Heaven and flew up to Seyu. Seyu didn't waste a moment. He unleashed the drones he had and unleashed them at Davis with each of them firing a laser shot at him, but Davis kept his eyes on them and tried to avoid his attacks. "Is that all you got?!"

"Not even close." Seyu said as he had a copy of Cecilia's rifle appear in his hands and opened fired with it. After each drone fired a shot, he fired with the rifle and continued with the pattern. "Dance for me, you fool! Dance!" Davis kept avoiding his attacks, but he can't keep dodging forever.

"Okay! I've had enough!" Davis said as he was getting irritated. He took his sword and used it to deflect the attacks and try to close the distance between them and headed straight for him. "I've got you now!"

"Think again." Seyu said as a couple launchers popped out. He fired a couple shells right at Davis and blasted him right out of the sky.

"Damn! I forgot about that!" Davis complained as he straightened himself out and landed on the ground.

"I'm rather enjoying this." Seyu said as he had the drones line up in front of him and kept the attacks and the pattern going. After each drone fired, he fired his rifle. Davis kept dodging the attacks, but Seyu was making sure he didn't escape. As the fight went on, Sakyo kept his eyes on Seyu like he was expecting something.

"Ryudoragon is only toying with him." Sakyo said as he was thinking out loud. "He might be a bit of a gentleman, but he has a whole other side to him when something doesn't go the way he likes." Seyu kept on the attacks and it seemed like he had Davis cornered.

"I think this is where it ends! Farewell!" Seyu called as he shot a couple more shells with another wave of attacks. Davis was in serious trouble as he wouldn't be able to escape in time. When everything made impact, a large explosion went off and everyone was worried something bad happened to Davis. "As expected. As if that peasant could defeat the likes of me." Seyu thought this fight was over, but he noticed the smoke moving in a strange motion. When he tried to take a closer look, Davis flew straight through the smoke and managed to land his own attack against Seyu with a cut forming against Seyu's face.

"It's going to take more than that to beat me!" Davis declared.

"He got out of that unscathed?" Sakyo questioned as he surely wasn't expecting that. "He's bold but reckless, determined but pitiful. How is it a fool like him is as strong as he is?" While Sakyo was trying to figure Davis out, something was going on with Seyu. It was like the stinging sensation of the cut awoke something in him.

"I tried being nice about this, but you continue to irritate me. So now the kid gloves are coming off... You rotten bastard!" Seyu shouted as he had an angry psychotic look in his eyes now. This was the other side Sakyo was talking about.

Davis: This guy here is loosing it. One little cut and he goes crazy. Still, he's got some mad sniping skills. He's even got a little trick that even Cecilia hasn't pulled off before. Well, there not the only ones that have a few surprises. I can pull one myself. I just need to figure out what that is.
