In the city of Orario

Tons of people live there in peace. Adventures come and go, all with the desire to become someone that can save the day and become pretty much a hero among people eyes. There are many that would fit the category of great hero.

The lone man was walking, talking with none. He wanted to get down to business and real fast, only one problem. He didn't know where to go.

''Huh. Where do I go to register?" Asked him

''Oh hi there. Are you lost?'' Asked a woman with silver hair and a maiden uniform.

''Yes, I would like to know where I can go to become an adventure.'' Said him.

''Oh new in town. Go straight up until you see a huge building in the center. Is called the Guild, no chance of missing is.'' Said her

''Thanks.'' Said him.

''My name Syr and what is your?" Asked her.

''…I don't have a name.'' Said him.

''Silly, everyone has a name.'' Said her

''Not me. I abandoned mine along time agon.'' Said him.

''So what do I call you?" Asked her.

''Whatever you want. I don't care.'' Said him all cold.

Syr never heard someone so serious and out of emotions. This was new to her and she liked.

''I got go.'' Said him going off.

Syr saw him and had a ton of questions on who this person was. She wanted to talk with him and wonder what was he doing in Orario.

''Huh?" Asked Syr.

''Syr are you done grabbing the vegetables?'' Asked Mia the owner of the Hostess of Fertility.

''Yes Mama!'' Said her

''What were you doing? Your break in 3 hours.'' Said Mia

''I saw the strangest man I ever seen. He was cold and with emotions, he wanted to be an adventure. What kind of person is that?" Asked Syr.

The old captain thought on what Syr said and was wondering on that. An adventure has to be someone willing to help others, not bloodthirsty monsters.

''There are people that have nothing in life and want to have a life that can kill us any day. Its sad but it's true.' Said Mia.

''Really? Interesting.'' Said Syr.

''We don't know what this guy is on the head. Lets get back to work.'' Said Mia.

Syr just nod as she goes to work, she wonder if she would see that weird white-haired man again.

At the Guild.

Inside people of all races and ranks were there to see what quest to do next. It was there where legends were made.

While adventurers were looking for mission, the staff was getting ready to start off the new year with their new employees Eina, Misha and Nessa.

''Ok girls are you ready?" Asked the supervisor.

''Yes.'' Said the tree.

''Eina can you handle being said a ton of questions?" Asked the supervisor.

''Yes, I am ready for any kind of problem.'' Said her.

''Misha, can you handle arguments?" Asked the supervisor.

''Yes, I will send them out of this place with no problem.'' Said Misha.

''Nessa, are you not that much shy since our training?" Asked the supervisor.

''Yes, I am more open and ready to talk to people.'' Said her.

''Good, now remember good faces, help the person and keep track of their skills.'' Said the supervisor.

''Yes sir!''' Said the trio.

The girls were ready to start working as advisors on the Guild. It was going to be a really tiresome job, but a rewarding one as they get to see new adventures get formed.

''I cant believe we actually did it.'' Said Misha.

''Yes, it's an honor be part of this prestigious place.'' Said Eina.

''We weren't that far off back in our training. We can do this I think.'' Said Nessa.

''If we end up like you we would be kicked out in a few days.'' Said Misha with a smirk.

''As an elf it would bring shame to my race if I become bad at my job. I am glad that I am not clumsy as you Nessa.'' Said Eina also with a smirk.

''Ha Ha Ha very funny you two.'' Said Nessa pissed.

''Ok let's get to work.'' Said Misha.

The trio soon got in their posts and were ready to talk with upcoming adventure

''here they come.'' Said Eina.

''What do we do?'' Asked Nessa.

''don't remember. Be calm and say ´´Hi Welcome´´ be yourself.'' Said Misha.

Eina and Misha got customers right away, they were calm and talk with thme with no problem.

''Hi welcome.'' Said misha.

''Hi welcome.'' Said Eina.

Nessa saw her friends and was a bit jealous. She wasn't easy going as Misha, or smart like Eina, she was herself and when she got this job she would make sure that she wouldn't let them get ahead of her. She wanted to make her name too.

''Just smile and welcome them. I can do this.'' Thought her.

Soon someone appear, the same mysterious man that was talking to Syr.

''Hello.'' Said the mysterious man.

''Hi welco…'' Said Nessa with a smile but that smile soon faded.

She saw the man had no emotions and could barely see his eyes. It was like he was cold and ready to kill.

''Hey are you ok?" Asked him.

''Sorry, I never seen someone so…cold this early.'' Said her with a smile.

''Is this a joke?" Asked him.

''No! I am just lighting up the mood.' 'Said her scared.

Nessa tried to be professional and sound like she wanted to help him.

''So what I can do for you sir?" Asked her

''I would like to register to become an adventurer.

''Registration cost a few velis and you need to sign these papers.'' Said her.

''Ok.'' Said him.

As he was writing down his information, he overhead some people talking about something.

''What are they talking about?'' Asked him.

''Oh is about a new mission that was put there. Nobody wants to deal with that. Its Goblin hunting.'' Said her.

''Goblins?'' Asked him interested.

''yes, it's a little group. Nothing more.'' Said her.

The man looked serious as he heard the word goblins.

''I´ll take that.'' Said him.

The new guild girl heard that and thought that was direct.

''Good, but are you sure about this?" Asked her.

''what do you mean?' Asked him.

''Goblin aren't the best for beginners adventures. Some people think they are weak, but they take time to fully kill. How about another quest like guiding or killing slimes?" Asked Nessa.

The man then went to the board and took out the Goblin quest and put on the desk.

''I said I will take this quest.'' Said him all serious.

Nessa looked a bit nervous but she need it to look professional if she wanted to keep this job.

''Ok.'' Said her scared.

Nessa didn't know if she was fine taking this guy as someone that she could look over to see his status. Of all the newcomers she had to pick this guy, she got so nervous that her stomach growled.

Growlll

''Oh.'' Said Nessa blushing.

The man looked a bit confused and then heard with a little more calm.

''Are you hungry?' Asked him.

''Sorry, I get hungry when I am nervous. You aren't making things easier.'' Said her.

''Apologies, it's my first time talking with someone in a long time. I guess I am not that good.'' Said him.

''Oh that's ok, it's a fresh start for someone that wants to be an adventurer.'' Said her with a smile.

''I guess you are right.'' Said him.

''Ok, everything is good. However you left out your name.'' Said her.

''My name?" Asked him.

''Yes, we need to have your name in our system. We can't just let a unknow join the ranks. We need some information.'' Said her.

''You can't just put out a fake name?" Asked him.

''Oh sorry, I can't do that. This will cost my job.'' Said her.

The man looked a bit anxious; he still remember his master words about his name.

''Fool boy. This name means nothing to the world anymore. That kid died alongside everyone in your village, you shall be someone with no name.'' Said his master still haunting his thoughts.

''Ok.'' Said him writing his old name.

He quickly wrote his old name, he promised to never write that down again, but it was just here and he would make sure to never heard again.

''Right mister…'' Said Nessa ready to say the name but the man stop her.

''don't say it. I can't explain but…don't say my name.'' Said him a bit sad and anxious.

Nessa saw that look on his face and thought there was something behind all this, she would leave it be and continue with her job.

''So what should I call you?'' Asked her.

''´´Slayer´´ I know it's silly but I rather have a nickname rather than a name.'' Said him.

The girl looked at him with pity. She could tell he had suffered a lot and waned to help out, but for now she need it to keep doing her job.

''Ok Slayer, by the way have thought of a familia to join?" Asked her.

''I don't want to join a familia.'' Said him.

The man surprised her again, this guy was a big surprised one after the other.

''Why?' Asked her.

''I am here for one purpose, and I don't get too close to people. I have my reasons.'' Said him.

The girl saw his worried expression. She wanted to know what happened to him, but she felt she would be scared if she heard that.

''Alright Slayer, but independent adventure have to work under the guild. Once you come back from the mission will have to know that and we will be taking 50% of the quest, it's a norm.'' Said her.

'Ok, once I get things done, we will talk.'' Said him

''You don't care for the money?" Asked her.

''No…I am here for other reasons.'' Said him all cold.

''What about armor and equipment? You don't look fully ready?" Asked Nessa.

''I still have money for these things. Where do I buy around here?' Asked him.

''The Hephaestus Familia is the best when it comes to gear. Their shop is a few blocks away on the left, everyone in the city knows. You won't missed it.'' Said her.

''Good, thank you…Nessa''' Said him.

As the man left with the quest Nessa couldn't stop and wonder about him. It was like a mysterious adventurer, one that you read and books and wonder what was his backstory and why he was like that.

''Wow.'' Said Nessa.

''Who is that guy?'' Asked Eina.

''My new client.'' Said Nessa.

''Oh mysterious.'' Said Misha.

''Yes Misha, he is mysterious. I kind got someone cool for once.'' Said Nessa.

''Sure.'' Said her.

In the city

The Loki familia was back from their latest adventure. They were still getting used to some of the new members, but they knew that with time they would feel in home in Orario.

''So this place is full of crazy people to fight?" Asked Tiona.

''Yes, however we don't go around asking for fight like the amazons do. Please behave.'' Said Riveria.

''So when do we get to start exploring the dungeon?" Asked Tione.

''I think let a few days pass and we can finally get. We need to still show you all how we operate.'' Said Finn

''Oh come on!' Said Tiona wanting to fight some monsters

''Captain orders. You can't just show up and do what you can.'' Said Chole a woman with blonde hair and armor.

''We need to keep also a good imagine. Who knows what Loki-sama will do if we dod immoral things.'' Said Edward a man with a large sword, armor and black hair.

''Edward is right, we can't barge into battle. We need also to think of Loki, she is the one that put us all together so we cant just ignore her orders.'' Said Gareth.

''Thank you Gareth-sama.'' Said him.

''Ok let's get back at the mansion.'' Said Finn.

''Sure captain.'' Said Riveria.

While walking one of the youngest members of the familia Ais saw someone in the crowd that call her attention. He was tall and had white hair, like the one she would seen in her dreams. She felt like she was stopped in time.

''Hey Ais are you ok?'' Asked Tiona.

''Yes.'' Said her a bit unsure

''Did you spot something?" Asked Chloe.

''No'' Said her.

''You must be tired. Lets get you home.'' Said Riveria.

''Ok.'' Said Ais.

While they were walking, the mysterious man passed by the Loki familia. Normally they wouldn't even notice him, however Finn felt some weird energy in the air. One of pure wrath

''Huh?'' Asked Finn sensing all this wrath among the crowd of people. Missing the man entirely.

''What is wrong captain?" Asked Chole.

''Nothing, I thought I felt something.'' Said Finn feeling worried.

''Like what?" Asked Riveria.

''I don't know.'' Said Finn

''You need to rest too.'' Said Gareth.

''Yes, no wine for you today.'' Said Riveria.

''Fine.'' Said Finn with a smile

The familia kept walking home while the man now being called ´´Slayer´´ was walking to Hephaestus shop. Where he would get his first gear for his first mission. Only one thing in his mind.

''This will be the end of all goblins.'' Thought him.

This is the start, sorry if it isn't the best chapter but it's a good one. I like that I give Guild Girl her name, also remember that this is when she and the others started. Bell hasn't showed up yet in the story and won't appear for a long time. Be used to that. Thank you so much.
