Anna ran to the garden as soon as she heard the screaming and yelling.

Inga ran over. "Mama! I told him not to do it! Please don't get mad!"

Anna looked past her oldest daughter, already almost as tall as she was, though only twelve, and saw the boys gathered over by the trees.

"What happened?"

Kristoff stood up from behind a tree. "Anton fell out of the tree. Don't panic, but there's a lot of blood."

Anton's hair was matted with blood, but he was laughing, as was his twin brother.

"Head wounds always bleed a lot," Kristoff said.
