Hi, before we get into the story, I do suggest you go down and see what's at the bottom before reading this chapter because I need to inform you guys of a couple things, though don't worry, nothing about Hiatus or anything the sort.

Anyways, yeah, see you below, and when you're done, you can go back up and finally read today's chapter.

"Hello." — Dialogue

'Hello.' — Telepathy, and Broadcasting

((Hello.)) — Flashbacks

Hello. — Thoughts and Actions

"Hello." — AOR and Orderspeak

The best way I could describe what I'm going through is that I'm frozen solid, floating on water, going nowhere in particular. Yet weirdly, I felt at peace.

"You're not dead, how peculiar." A voice spoke out, and to me, it sounded feminine, like a middle-aged woman with a Grecian accent.

"I'm far from the mortal middle-age, but I'll take it as a compliment." Oh, she can read my thoughts, shit...wait why isn't my tingle working? Hello? Brain?

"Your..tingle?" Oh, I mean, uhm, fuck, POTATO!

"Really child?" I could practically feel her deadpan. "Ah, here it is, you have your own mental oxpecker, how strange-yet fascinating! You half-god-bastards are finally evolving, and it only took millennia to do so," The, I assume goddess, stated sarcastically.

"Oh well, better late than never as they say. Who is your parent, child? I haven't met a demigod capable of surviving my waters and you do so without a thought, and don't lie boy, I'm not one to be crossed."

Before I could think about her statement, the need to scream became clear as I felt like I was being molten alive, only for the feeling to go away like it never happened, as if I imagined it. I knew I didn't, and so in fear and apprehension, I told the goddess.

Silence reigned supreme for a while, and the longer it went, the more nervous I grew. "Swear it!" The goddess growled suddenly.

Why? I asked immediately, though it was obviously the wrong thing to do as I felt myself be squeezed harshly.

Okay! Okay! I swear! I swore in my head, and the pressure on me didn't loosen for a while and when it did, I could finally move my body too. I quickly opened my eyes and stood up, though the latter was difficult to do because of the water, or more specifically river by the looks of it, around me.

The river looked polluted, filled with a lot of objects that are weirdly there, like broken toys and ripped-up diplomas, but the majority that polluted the river were pieces of surprisingly dry paper. I picked one up out of curiosity and blanched when I read the first six words.

'I swear on the River Styx...'

Suddenly a large shadow started to appear in front of me, and I audibly gulped when I turned around. The presumed Goddess was beautiful, with pale skin tone, dark eyes, and black painted black lips matching her ebony hair. Yet her beauty didn't compare to her gaze that demanded utmost respect...or she would make you suffer unimaginable agony.

My mind quickly connected the dots, and so, "L-Lady Styx." I bowed slowly and deeply, before straightening up, cursing internally at the tremor that was audible for both of us. "I-uh apologize for intrud-" I paused as she rose her hand, signally me to stop talking as she walked towards me, her black smokey dress billowing behind her until she stood right in front of me.

I didn't dare move a muscle as her hand traced my face, and her eyes seemed to soften, but I wasn't suicidal to call that out.

She opened her mouth as if she were going to speak, only to close it when the both of us noticed that I was flickering in and out of existence. She opened her mouth again, not saying anything, though, guessing from her furrowed brows, she was thinking of what to say.

"When you have the chance, go to Gapstow Bridge and sing near it, there a door will appear, and it will send you down to the Underworld. When you get there, pray my name and I will come and collect you." I couldn't even respond as my surroundings shifted, and I was once again laying down, and instead of facing a goddess, I was facing upwards at my cabin roof.

I sat up and my gaze quickly found my drooling brother at the other side of the cabin. I chuckled nervously and quietly to myself, mostly in disbelief that I had managed to dream port myself to my godly relative, which could have gone so wrong.

I looked at the clock above the cabin door, which read 6:12, and going by the view outside from the windows, which were kind of dark, I would say it was A.M.

Chuckling to myself one more time, I flipped the blanket over me, got up from bed, and walked towards my drawer, where I took out some clothes and a towel. I headed toward the bathroom with my chosen clothes and towel in hand, where I placed said items on the sink, stripped myself naked, hopped in the shower, and turned on the water, getting shot softly by the showerhead.

Moments later I got out of the shower and started to dry myself, before wrapping the towel around my waist. I walked over and stood in front of the sink and mirror, the latter I swiped downwards to remove the steam from it, where my reflection appeared, mimicking my movements.

My gaze immediately shifted toward my very noticeable scar. The scar started from my upper temple, right above my right eyebrow, down to my lower right cheekbone, completely missing the eye. I would say the scar was meant to be there, because not even Ambrosia could get rid of it.

Just wished I got it differently.

"I repeat, The Alliance of the Ares Cabin includes the Ares Cabin, the Hephaestus Cabin, the Aphrodite Cabin, the Dionysus Cabin, and the Demeter Cabin, while the Alliance of the Athena Cabin includes the Athena Cabin, the Hermes Cabin, the Apollo Cabin, and the Poseidon Cabin. The Athena Alliance are taking the south side of the creek, while the Ares Alliance takes the north. Are we Agreed?" Chiron asked both Annabeth and Clarisse, who both nodded at the Centaur.

"Very Well," He stated, before turning to the rest of us campers, "Heroes! You know the rules. The creek is the boundary line. The entire forest is fair game. All magic items are allowed. The banner must be prominently displayed, and have no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not be bound or gagged. No killing or maiming is

allowed. I will serve as referee and battlefield medic. Arm yourselves!"

Chiron then spread his hands, and the tables were suddenly covered with armor, weapons, and shields. I grabbed and put on a leather muscled breastplate and a corinthian blue-plumed helmet, and also grabbed a labrys and a shield. I turned to look at Percy, and I smiled sadly seeing him all set with both sword and shield in his hands, though with a completely serious expression on his face.

These last few days really changed him, especially when the thought that we could actually die from monsters, and it didn't help that our own mother died in front of him. And though his witty, sassy, and sarcastic side remained, and he wasn't as happy or enthusiastic as I remembered, another one of my faults.

I snapped out of it as both Annabeth and Clarisse called for their teams, and so I, with the rest of my team headed for the south side of the forest. Suddenly Percy ran past me, heading towards Annabeth, and knowing what was coming, I let him.

Soon a scowling twin of mine walked toward me. "Stand by the creek, keep the reds away, leave the rest to me, Athena always has a plan," He mocked, ignoring my laughter as we walked towards the creek. He then scoffed, "Girl's not even Athena, and she talks like she was, and if she is, then Athena's a rightful bit-," I quickly smacked the back of his helmet. "Hey! What the hell man!? What was that for!?"

"Bro, Athena cursed Medusa because she was raped by Poseidon in her temple, as well as beat the shit out of and curse Arachne for speaking the truth, the hell do you think she's going to do to you for calling her a bitch, hm? I already lost a mother, hell the fuck no I'm gonna lose a brother, especially my dumbass of a twin." I said seriously, making him flinch before looking anywhere but me, seeming to be cowed by my statement.

A few minutes passed before Percy spoke again. "Annabeth's still a bitch though." I snorted at that, especially because if I told Percy about his alternate future, his reaction would've been priceless, but I still had a role to play so I cuffed him on the back of the head, and reprimanded him for his language, and then cuffing him again when he called me out about how I cussed too.

Sigh, the joys of being a brother.

It took us a while to get to the creek, and in doing so, the day became night, where the only source of light was the few fireflies and the moonlight. "Oh screw this," Percy gritted out as he threw down his shield at the running creek, "Things feel like carrying a bowling ball, and of course, you're fine with it." My brother exclaimed in jealousy when he saw I was having no problems with it.

"Well then get some meat in your bones dear brother, even the Aphrodite Cabin could easily carry the shield," I teased, getting a huff in return.

"Yeah, well—" Percy didn't get to finish as the familiar sound of the conch horn was heard around the forest.

"Get ready," I told him as I looked to the north side of the creek where I heard the distant sounds of fellow campers from the opposite team. Suddenly a low canine growl was heard nearby, making the both of us Jacksons go still and tense.

My tingle then blared downwards, and not even bothering to question it, I dodged backwards, and my eyes widened when I saw that where I just was, a massive Doberman the size of a rhino with bloody red eyes stood, lifting its hackles while it glared at us.

Wait, I looked back at where I think it came from. I didn't feel any wind blowing when it came to rush me besides feeling it when I dodged, so it didn't come from above, unless...I looked down at its paws, specifically where it was laid, and my eyes widened when I finally realized how it got close, and my skin most likely ashened when I looked at my surroundings because full of shadows.

Before I could warn Percy of my discovery, the hellhound lunged towards me again, though this time I was prepared as I swiped with my labrys when it got close enough, only for my swing to miss entirely as the hellhound wasn't in front of me anymore, and my tingle to blare up at my right. I quickly held up my shield and gritted my teeth at the impact that came right after.

The hellish Doberman growled ferociously as it pushed against my shield, making my feet slowly slide back, though it didn't manage to push me far when the weight from my shield lessened immediately. I looked to my side and saw my brother with his sword extended, wet shield in hand, and a hellhound no longer in sight.

Our gazes found each other, and my unasked question received a shake of Percy's head, so I lowered my shield and held my axe ready as I stood parallel to him, him watching my back and his front, while I watched his back and my front. We circled slowly clockwise, moving as silently as possible so we could hear the wooshing from the hellhound as it moved right and left through the trees.

My tingle blared at my back, "Yours!" I shouted, and I felt Percy compose himself before the sounding rushing was heard, and I looked back in the corner of my eye, watching the hellhound strategically zig-zag while teleporting. I clenched my hands around my axe haft tight, and when the dog got close, that's when I acted.

"Brace!" I ordered with orderspeak, which quickly took hold of my brother as he lifted his shield, bracing for impact, and his neck snapped back when it came, though he seemed to be fine despite it. With the hellhound pushing against my brother, I turned my hips and swung back at the hound, which noticed the incoming blade, and dodged, but not before being slashed at its side. Yelping, then once again growling, it shadow ported back into the trees, running through them to get another shot at us.

"Good hit." Percy commended.

"It's not over yet, keep your eyes peeled," I told him.

And so the process repeated two more times, where the second and third time as my brother and I circled around, the hellhound went for me, which lead to it being slashed by my brother. This time though, I felt my tingle to my right, and so I turned my head towards that direction, and saw the hellhound zig-zag fervently towards us, before disappearing, but not before my tingle blared at where Percy's and my shoulders connected.

"Split!" I yelled, and both of us separated from one another, and knowing what was coming next, we swung our respective weapons at the leaping hellhound that came from the ground, only for it to suddenly disappear from our sight. With wide eyes, I pulled back my axe as quick as I could so I don't kill my brother, though my brother wasn't quick enough as his upward slash connected with my face.

I got on one knee as my hand dropped my shield and went straight to my right eye. Royally pissed off, I tugged on my inner power engine and pointed my fingers towards the side of the forest where I heard the hound running, and shot out a bolt of lightning. The trees that were in the way got damaged, and the hellhound didn't seem to've been killed or wounded by my electric attack as I heard it running away from us.

Breathing out a sigh of relief, I internally berated myself for wasting an attack like that against the hellhound, something I knew wasn't going to work since close-range attacks were the only way it had lower chances of escape, though it did escape our last attack so that it meant monsters could learn, as well as adapt.

My right eye suddenly lighted up in pain, which lighted up even further as I closed it tight. "Shit Percy," I told my brother, who was kneeling beside me, looking at me with guilty eyes and an apologetic expression.

"I'm so sorry, Alex." He apologized, and I shook my head.

"S'not your fault, the dog learned, so we need to learn too, especially you though." I half-joked as I stood up and dropped and walked towards the stream, where I tried making out my injury from its reflection as I took away my hand from my face, and when I did, I couldn't help but laugh, "Fuck sake!"

"What?" Percy asked worriedly, though I waved off his concerns.

"No, nothing, forget about it," I told him as I pictured myself with a red tattoo on the left side of my face and chest, though my imagination got interrupted when I heard stomps and yells heading towards us from the North side of the Creek, I tensed slightly before walking backwards and grabbing my shield.

"As a form of payback, you're taking four, I'm taking Clarisse," I said, and before Percy could ask what I meant, we both saw the running Ares Warriors coming over the underbrush.

"Cream the Punks!" Clarisse commanded before her siblings rushed us.

"Wait!" I ordered, and the Ares kids stood in place. "You four are taking on my brother, while I take on Clarisse." They unfroze and looked at Percy, before charging at him.

"Oh C'mon!" Percy exclaimed before sidestepping a sword swing. Ignored him as I walked to Clarisse as she walked to me, crossing the creek.

"What was that?" She asked me as she looked to her siblings fighting my brother, who unlike in the books, was handling them much better, probably because he lured them into the creek, where he had the utmost advantage as I saw a cut he had, heal. I was a little jealous, since water only boosts me up in power and combat knowledge, and slightly ups my durability, but y'know, he could have it.

"What was what?" I asked innocently as I twirled my axe and immediately deflected a strike from her spear, before swinging my axe at her side, missing barely as she rolled under it, and responded with a quick stab at my chest.

I blocked the strike, holding the spearhead in between the U of my axe, which I turned sideways harshly, making the U hold the spearhead tightly, and with a quick turn of my body as well as dropping my axe, I gripped the spear and judo flipped her onto her back with her own weapon, placing said weapon tip against her neck.

Before I could ask her to surrender, all of us present, including the downed Ares kids, turned our heads as we saw Luke with a red banner with some blue teammates being chased by red Hephaestus kids. When he eventually crossed the creek, Nearby blue team members cheered as the red banner with a boar and spears turned into a silver banner with a caduceus, symbolizing Cabin 11.

Chiron appeared from the woods, and blew the conch horn, ending Percy's and I's first game of Capture the Flag.

I retracted the spear from Clarisse's neck and offered her hand, which she sourly took as I lifted her back up and gave her back her spear. "Good fight," I said.

"Yeah right, we barely went for thirty seconds." She grumbled as she glared at me, she glared even harder when I chuckled, so I raised my hands to placate her.

"Look, if we were anywhere else and you had a different weapon, it would've gone longer," I told her honestly, but by her confused expression, she didn't get what I meant, so I just pointed at the creek then at myself, "Water, Poseidon claimed."

Her eyes widen in understanding, "Oh! And my spear?"

"Poseidon's the God of Storms, and lightning is a part of storms," I explained simply with a shrug.

"So.. there's a chance I could still beat you." I sighed as her eyes glazed over with excitement about the potential bout. Battle Hungry, definitely Ares' kid.

"Yeah."

"Great! Then you better get ready Ally, because one of these days I'm going to-"

"Hellhound!" I interupted as I felt my tingle blare above me, and everyone looked to me then to where I was pointing, where they saw a hellhound standing on top of rocks just right above us. The hound looked at all of us as it growled, but when its eyes landed on Percy, it howled, before lunging at him with absolute speed, only for it to explode in golden dust as a spear of water pierced it from below.

Everyone looked at me, which was understandable, but I shook my head and directly at Percy who had a hand lifted, as well as sweat coming down his forehead before he hunched over and panted.

I guess I wasn't the only Jackson to practice their powers, but then again, this is another outcome because of my decisions, so what else is going to change, and will it be for the better or the worse?

I went towards the creek where golden dust seemed to slowly swim to me as if I were a magnet, and I picked up the wet black parka jacket with black fur that was floating in place. I waved the jacket a little to get rid of the water on it, before throwing it at Percy, who caught it.

"Well brother," I said as I walked towards him, ignoring Chiron's and Luke's furrowed gazes, and the rest of the campers' whispers, and when I got near, I patted his shoulder, "Seems that you got yourself a much better spoil."

After that, and after getting my eye patched up, I managed to convince Chiron to give us till today, which was Monday, June 5th, 2006. It wasn't hard, not when one of my eyes was covered, and I refuse to be Ethan Nakamura, disable myself for whatever reason.

I looked at my scar a little longer, before shaking my head. I grabbed my toothbrush and the toothpaste that was on the sink, and brushed my teeth, after I was finished with that, as well as putting on deodorant, I got dressed.

I walked out of the bathroom and sat down on my bed, where I dragged forward my black combat boots from underneath it and put them on. Finally fully clothed, I stood up and walked towards the sleeping form of my brother, before crushing him with my weight, causing him to groan.

"Get off."

"Say plea-ese." I sang annoyingly.

"Please." He groaned out.

"There we go, now get up, today's the day we go and save the world just like the Justice League, but instead of Aliens, it's from our own relative."

Percy snickered, "Yeah, what a world." He agreed as he got up and walked towards his drawer and took out some clothes that resembled mine and a different colored towel before he headed into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

I stayed in place for a while, mulling over things and getting my thoughts organized, before I shook myself from the depths of my mind and walked over to the right side of the Cabin wall, where my mouth beamed into a bright smile.

"You're finally going to be of use baby," I said as I grabbed the weapon I was talking to by the bottom and took it off its hook. I stood it up against myself as I appreciate its design. It was big, the same height as me, though I was only a few centimeters taller. The axe had a round spike at the knob, a long oak haft, and a celestial bronze head and blades, with the cheek of the axe, shifted to look like a U, separating both blades.

(For my Fanfiction readers, search: Immortals Fenyx Rising Axe of Atalanta, there are three versions, Alex's axe is the first at the moment.)

I put to use my authority over reality, and with a couple of breaks in between, I managed to make my axe a little bit better than when I first got it, which was from Charles Beckendorf after I paid him to make it.

I made it so my axe did three things. First, the axe would never harm those I don't want to intentionally harm, Second, the axe would always come back and stick to me, so basically I can put it behind my back without it touching me, like a video game character with weapons, and I could throw my axe as far as I could and simply recall it back to me, and finally, Third, I can turn it into a ring, making it portable and hidden.

Pretty cool huh? Yeah, I also went to Alabaster Torrington and paid him to enchant my axe, which he enchanted so whoever doesn't have my permission to wield it, gets burned, and I did this for two reasons.

One, a cover-up so those who don't know my real parentage don't think about it much, and if I were to swear on something, most likely Styx, I don't end up dying or suffering a horrible fate because I indeed got my axe enchanted. And Two, because I want every advantage I could get, my appearance alone makes others take things seriously, so it really is going to be hard to catch someone off guard.

Eventually, those two reasons won't matter as I might reveal who I really am in the future, but for now, no.

Anyways, I placed my axe on my back, where it floated close to my body, and looked at the picture frame with three very familiar people hanging on the wall.

Smiling sadly, I opened the cabin door, and headed out, knowing that I wasn't going to step a foot back in this Cabin for while.

But oh well, that's the life of a demigod.

Now that out of the way, I have a confession to make, I'm an idiot. Not a surprise lmao, but yeah, some things about my character I wasn't reallg thinking about, as well as my explanations didn't seem to help people, leaving them more confused, and so I apologize, and as an Apology, down below I will list eveything about Alex's abilties and capablities, as well as a rewrite prologue and three to match what I wrote.

But not before Questions and Explanations:

Question #1: No Water Powers? Doesn't a storm include, Wate, Wind, and Lightning?

Answer: At the time I wrote chapter three I wasn't as focused and I wrote to write. I'm combining both this question and another since their kind of similiar. Today I have seen the error of my ways thanks to someone over FF going by Lord Shiva, so shoutout to them. And so, yes, Alex will be having water powers, but their not as great as Percy's so don't exprct him to do things Percy can since Alex isn't an actual demigod of Poseidon, just assumed to be.

Question #2: Wasn't the Minotaur sent by someone.

Answer: You're right, they were, by Hades, but since things changed, the Minotaur forgot that this wasn't the old ways where he was supposed to kill Athenians, and so instead of capturing Sally, he killed her, and No Hades doesn't have her. Hades rules the Underworld, that is true, but HE can't take a soul from their rightful place, it's a law, a law I made, the only dead he can summon are those who have died in battle, simple, if you want me to elaborate, comment elaborate.

Question #3: If he can literally warp reality, couldn't he order it to teach him how to fight?

Answer: Great Question Lord Shiva, and that is why I'm changing how his AOR (Authority over Reality) works, that will be down below with all of the things Alex can do.

Not-Question-But-I'll-Take-It-As-One: To help you Lord Shiva and others who didn't get what I meant about immortality and Wonder Woman, here is what I meant.

Answer: You are right that Diana is far older than WWII, that is no doubt 100% true, what I mean though, for this fic, is that the REASON she has been alive for so long is because she STAYED in THEMYSCIRA, where she, and the other amazons BECOME PARTIALLY IMMORTAL when staying in the Island.

When Diana LEFT THEMYSCIRA, she NO LONGER was PARTIALLY IMMORTAL and became MORTAL. When Diana helped in WWII with the Justice Society and the other demigods in that era, her public actions earned her FAITH and BELIEF, especially since she was forward about being a demigod, so because of the COUNTLESS FAITH and BELIEF there was for HER, she became IMMORTAL, NOT a GOD. A demgod COULD ONLY be a GOD from the POWER of the OLYMPIAN COUNCIL.

That help? If it doesn't, comment down below, Anyways now for the status of what Alex's abilities and Capabilites.
