"Damn, so this is the Black Bulls' HQ in person." Kaen said in awe looking at the multi-building structure in front of him.
"Yep, welcome to the Black Bulls." Yami smirked. "Get yourself situated, and feel free to roam the place. But one thing."
"What's that?" Kaen questioned, before Yami grabbed him by the top of the head.
"Try anything with my daughter, and I will cut you to pieces." Yami stated, his eyes glowing white.
"Come on Captain Yami, Kaen and I might be the same age, but we literally just met this morning." Kali stated.
"C'mon Kali, I'm just trying to be a good father. I'm still too young to become a grandparent." Yami stated.
"I seriously doubt Mina would approve of me knocking up another girl besides her, behind her back. Wait hold on, Captain Yami's your dad?" Kaen asked, easily pulling the older man's hand off his head.
"Yep. My full name is Kali Sukehiro." Kali stated. "Though I don't see what the big deal is, I'm only his daughter through adoption, and I didn't even ask him for it."
"So? I'm adopted too, and I'm still doing just fine. Granted it was my aunt who adopted me after my parents died." Kaen stated. "Hey wait, where are the others?"
"Off on missions." Yami stated. "But sounds like you've got an interesting past."
"More interesting then you'd think. Filled with betrayal from someone I never expected it to come from, and the pain of losing a lot of loved ones." Kaen stated. "But that can wait for another time."
"So, just to clarify, we are allowing a member of the enemy into our base?" Noelle questioned.
"Listen princess, Kaen and Mina were only members of the Midnight Sun, because they were forced to. They've been checked out by Mushroom Head, and told the honest truth about what they went through." Yami stated.
"So cool, I can't believe we got another newcomer to the Squad. Noelle, Kali, and I are no longer the rookies." Asta smirked.
"Hey Asta, question for you." Kaen said.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Are you able to sense Ki at all? Like has the Captain taught you how to do it?" Kaen asked.
"Ki? You mean that energy you use for attacking?" Asta asked.
"Idiot." Yami sighed.
"I'll take that as a no." Kaen chuckled. "There are two types of Ki. I can use both, but mainly rely on the Ki you just described for both combat as well as sensing where my enemies are. The Ki I wanna teach you, requires having a feel for your opponents actions, which will allow you to predict their next move in battle."
"It's the type of Ki I specialize in." Yami stated. "I had planned on teaching you to use it in the heat of battle, but I guess you could go for a lesson in it now."
"Awesome." Asta smirked. "So what do I have to do first?"
"First, you gotta sharpen your senses. An' to do that you gotta be in a fight." Kaen said.
"So, how are we gonna do that?" Asta asked.
"Simple, I'm gonna attack you. But just remember, to use this Ki, you gotta be able to use all your senses at once, not just your eyes and ears." Kaen stated.
"Wait what?" Asta inquired, before he had to duck down and evade a hit from Kaen.
"Ahahahahahaha. I like your style kid." Yami laughed. "Still, don't go easy on him. He can handle more then that."
"Captain." Asta complained, before he jumped to the side to evade another strike from Kaen, with his fist hitting the ground, causing it to quake.
"What the hell's going on out here? Why is the hide out shaking like there's a world ending earthquake?" Magna questioned, running out of the HQ with Vanessa and a few of the other knights.
"Oh hey, I thought you were all out on missions. Oh well, we got a new Squad Mate, and he's teaching Asta how to sense Ki like how Captain Yami and I can sense it." Kali explained.
"Whoa, and I thought Asta had muscles, this guy looks like a younger Captain Yami." Vanessa stated.
"I wonder what his favorite food is." Charmy said.
"Dude looks like he eats literal iron bars for breakfast." Magna said.
"Oh cool, I wonder if he'll spar with me." Luck said.
"I would keep my distance from him for a while. Give him some space to get settled. Poor guy just got freed from being forced to work under the Midnight Sun's control, give him some time to recover." Yami said.
"What? You let one of those bastards into the Squad?" Magna questioned, getting in a fighting stance.
"Knock it off Magna. Did you not hear the Captain?" Kali questioned. "Kaen wasn't willingly working with the Midnight Sun. He was being forced."
"What kind of leverage did they have to make a big guy like him work for them against his will?" Vanessa inquired.
Gordon was wanting to know what that evidence as well, but as usual he spoke so softly, no one could really hear him.
"Would you speak up already?" Kali asked.
"They were holding his daughter captive, and threatened to end her life if he didn't do what they wanted." Yami stated.
"They were what?" Magna questioned.
"If he disobeyed them, even once, they would threaten to harm his daughter. But thankfully, the little trip to Nean, Kali took yesterday, just so happened to end in him and his girlfriend getting their daughter back, with some help from Kali."
"Wait, so they were forcing both the girls parents to work for them?" Luck asked. "Man, that had to suck."
"That's it Asta. You're a fast learner, you're picking up on this like it's nothing." Kaen smiled, as Asta was now easily reading his Ki. "Keep practicing this until you can do it without even needing to try, or even think about it."
"Right." Asta smirked.
"But why's he here then? Shouldn't he be with his girlfriend and daughter if they just got her back?" Magna inquired.
"We'll be heading back to the Silver Dragon Tavern in a bit. We just had to stop by for me to get cleaned up and changed. I stink, and I need a nice hot bath." Kali said. "But we don't really have time for that, so I'm just gonna use my magic to get cleaned up."
"Wait, right here in front of everyone?" Noelle questioned.
"What? Of course not. I'm just gonna head into my room, use my magic to wash up, and get changed." Kali stated. "Anyone who tries to peek is dead."
~Later~
"So, what is it you were wanting to discuss with us?" Kali asked as she and Asura sat across from Kaen, a fresh spread set out in front of them, with Eri in Kaen's lap, with Niji in her arms.
"The Captains told us you both were seeking answers as to who you are, and what you are." Kaen said, showing his tail to them. "I have those answers, if you're interested in hearing them."
"Hearing answers as to who we are after searching for so long?" Asura questioned. "Hell yeah I'm ready."
"Swear." Eri said, putting a swear jar up to him. "Two coins please."
"You can't be serious." Asura said.
"House rules." Mina smirked, coming by with platters of food. "Gonna curse, you gotta pay for every nasty word you say."
"Fine." Asura grumbled, putting two gold coins through the slit on the lid of the jar.
"So, who are we? What are we?" Kali inquired.
"First off… Are you sure you wanna hear what we have to tell you?" Kaen asked. "It can sometimes be more gratifying to find the truth out for yourselves."
There was a moment of silence as Kali and Asura pondered over what he was saying. Here the truth to their past was, not sitting five feet from them, and they were questioned on if they truly wanted the answers this way, or another.
"Then there's the notion that, sometimes the truth is better left unknown." Mina said.
"The five of us are of the same race. We are kin to one another via our species." Kaen stated. "But there is a dark truth to our past, one I'm not all too sure you'd be eager to hear about."
Kali and Asura just looked to one another, before looking back at Kaen.
"We still wanna know the truth about who or what we are." Asura said.
"But at the same time, we don't want the answers just handed to us. We wanna learn for ourselves, about who we are." Kali added.
"That's what I thought." Kaen smiled, before a portal opened. "Looks like the meeting with the other Captains is done already." He said as Finral, Asta, and Yami came out of the portal.
"Look alive Bulls, we're heading for the beach." Yami said. "Lion cub, you're coming with us. Wizard King's orders. He believes this would be a good experience for you to travel outside the capital to new locations."
"Why exactly are we going to the beach sir?" Kaen asked.
"It's more of a resort, but we're going because we've learned that the Eye of the Midnight Sun, are gathering magic stones. An' these stones will apparently bring them back to their true forms and power, or something like that. Anyway, there's a good chance one of these stones, is in an underwater sea temple close to the resort, and Julius has ordered us to go and investigate." Yami explained.
"An' where is this resort?" Kali asked.
"The coastline of Raque."
"Oh Kaen, you know what that means." Mina smiled excitedly. "A shopping spree for new swimsuits."
"Except we don't have the money for buying anything." Kaen said.
"It's fine." Kali chuckled. "I'm sure we can come up with something."
"Let me." Asura said, sliding a bag of money towards them.
"Whoa, that's more then any of us make in a month." Kali stated. "Where's you get all that?"
"I'm royalty remember? Consider it a congratulatory gift on your liberation from the Eye of the Midnight Sun." Asura smiled.
"Yay, the beach. I can learn how to swim." Eri smiled.
"If it's alright with you, that we come of course Captain Yami." Mina said, looking to the Black Bulls Captain.
"Fine by me. But you're using that money to pay your own way." Yami stated.
"No problem." Mina smiled before grabbing Kali by the wrist, and pulling Eri into her arm. "Come on, it's a girls shopping trip time. Let's grab the other Black Bull girls, it's time for a shopping trip."
"Uh Mina, why's your tail wrapped around my wrist?" Kaen asked.
"Because you're coming to help me and Eri pick out our swimsuits of course." Mina smirked with a flirtatious wink.
"Wait, I'm/he's what?" Kali and Kaen asked before they were pulled through the portal.
"Why am I feeling jealous all of a sudden?" Asura questioned.
~Hideout~
"So cool, I'm actually standing in the Black Bulls hideout." Mina smiled excitedly, looking around the room.
"Mama, it smells like cigarettes and alcohol." Eri said, pinching her nose with both her hands.
"So, what are we doing here again?" Kali asked.
"Well, the Captain wanted to tell you something, I'm pretty sure you're gonna be thrilled to hear about it." Asta said.
"That's right kid." Yami smirked. "We found out who the traitor was. It was the Purple Orca's Captain, Poizot."
"I never liked that guy." Mina said.
"You don't even know him lady." Magna said. "Who the hell is she anyway?"
"This, is my girlfriend Mina Ashido." Kaen said. "So, what's this gotta do with Kali?"
"The Purple Orcas have been hunting me down since I was little. I never knew what they actually wanted with me, but I suspect it would have had something to do with the black market, and human trafficking." Kali explained.
"But now that all his dirty crimes have been brought to light, Kali can finally relax without worry about being targeted by the Purple Orcas for once." Asta said. "An' Kaen, thanks for teaching me how to use sensory Ki."
"No problem, but why thank me now?" Kaen inquired.
"Poizot tried making a break for it, but with the help of the Aqua Deer's Captain, and my use of Ki, we were able to find him and bring him in for questioning before he got too far." Asta said.
"Not bad kid. You did a pretty descent job back there." Yami said.
"Don't get too excited. We're gonna continue your training to use Ki while we're at Raque. You've still got a lot of practicing to do, before you're a master of sensory Ki." Kaen stated.
"Sir." Asta said with a salute.
"Alright, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's get to that shopping spree." Mina said. "Noelle, Vanessa, Charmy. You with me girls?"
"Shopping for a new swimsuit? I'm down for it." Vanessa smiled.
"Why do I have to come along?" Noelle asked.
"Aw come on, I doubt it would be that bad if you went and spent some time with other girls on the team." Asta said. "Besides, this is a chance for you to help Mina and Eri feel welcomed to our world."
"Fine, I guess I can spare some time to go." Noelle said with a blush.
"Hey Kaen." Mina said, pulling Kaen aside. "Out of all the girls in the Black Clover series, who's your favorite?"
"You mean from who we know about?" Kaen asked. "Mmm, I'd have to say it's Noelle, why?"
"Hmm, that could be a problem." Mina said.
"Mina, what are you planning?" Kaen inquired, knowing his girlfriend is sometimes up to no good.
"Well… I was thinking maybe making a fantasy come true for you, and have a bit of a three way with your Black Clover Wifu." Mina said. "But that's not gonna happen with Noelle's heart belonging to Asta, even if the feelings aren't reciprocated."
"Mina, fantasy is one thing, but their world is real. We can't just spring this up on any of them." Kaen said.
"Right, right." Mina sighed. "Fine, we'll try and ease her into the idea of a three way."
"Mina!"
"Fine, I'll forget about the idea." Mina said. "Now come on, we've got some swimsuits to try out."
"Mina before we go… Do you think you can do something for me real quick?" Kaen asked. "Could you see if you could take a look at Asta's second sword, the one he got in the dungeon raid?"
~Swimwear Shop~
"Remind me why I had to tag along?" Noelle questioned.
"You and I both know you don't own a swimsuit. You had to borrow one of mine for that day we used Bikini Tops for uniform tops because I tore mine and couldn't get a replacement in time." Kali said.
"What's this now?" Mina asked.
"It's nothing special. I didn't have time to get another shirt from the base, so I was forced to wear a bikini top for my uniform after my shirt was torn." Kali explained. "Noelle didn't want it to seem weird for the customers, so she wore a spare of mine to go with the theme. We actually raked in a lot more customers then usual that day. We actually ended up wearing both bikini's, just with the bottom half under our pants."
"It was so humiliating, but I was willing to put up with it for a friend." Noelle stated, a blush heavy on her cheeks.
"Anyways, I'm needing to get a new swimsuit too, so this works out perfectly."
"What's wrong with one of the two you have?" Noelle inquired.
"Are you kidding me? One of them's covered in sweat and grease, and the other's missing. I never got it back after that day." Kali said.
"I could have sworn I put it in the closet of your living space after we closed up for the night." Noelle said.
"Noelle seems to really relax around you huh?" Mina asked Kali.
"She does. She trusts me. I've been putting her through training to break down her mental barriers that have been messing with her magic. An' she even drops the prissy princess act around me too." Kali said.
"Mama, I wanna try this one." Eri said, coming up to Mina with a swimsuit on its rack.
"Alright sweetie, let's go get it fitted."
"Hey Noelle, come on let's have you try this one on." Vanessa smiled, holding up a bikini for Noelle to wear.
"What? No way, that thing's even more revealing then one of your bikini's." Noelle said.
"Come on, don't be such a party pooper. Let's just see how it looks on you." Vanessa said, pushing Noelle to the change rooms.
"Please remind me why I am here?" Kaen questioned, his back turned to the girls with a blush on his face.
"Silly, you're here to help me put on any bikini's I try on." Mina said, popping her head out of Eri's change room.
"Hey, Vanessa stop let go. I can do it myself." Noelle said, before she screamed as Vanessa forcefully removed her clothes.
"I don't think that was a good idea Vanessa." Kali said.
"Oh relax, it's nothing we girls haven't seen before." Vanessa said, wrapping a sheet around Noelle.
"That's it, I'm heading outside to cool off." Kaen said, not being able to take this torture anymore.
Right as he reached for the door, it burst open and slammed straight into his face, knocking him back as three members of the Golden Dawn came barging in.
"A robbery?" Klaus questioned, running into the shop, only to pause as Vanessa and Noelle froze, while Noelle's covering had fallen, causing the Golden Dawn Knight to get a nose bleed and fall back as the Silva girl screamed in horror.
"Noelle." Mimosa said with cheery surprise in her voice.
"What's going on?" Yuno asked.
"You're the ones who came barging in here." Noelle stated.
"Oh dear, look what you've done to our newest recruit." Vanessa said.
Mimosa and Yuno looked behind the door, to see Kaen holding his face, specifically his bleeding nose.
"Oh dear, I'm so sorry about that." Mimosa said, coming and using her healing magic on him.
"It's fine, it was an honest mistake." Kaen said, resetting his nose. "Not the first time my nose has been broken."
"Swimsuits?" Yuno asked, looking around.
"That's right, swimsuits golden boy." Vanessa said.
"Excuse me?"
"We're taking a trip, heading to the beach." Vanessa stated.
"Noelle, my girlfriend, and my daughter don't have a swimsuit, so Mina brought everyone here for a bit of shopping." Kaen stated.
"Personally I thought it would be easier if they both just borrowed one of mine." Vanessa stated. "But they declined."
"It was nothing but strings." Noelle stated defensively. "You expect us to wear something like that?"
"Plus I'd like to be able to keep mine after we're done at the beach." Mina stated, popping her head out of the change room again.
"Oh my, that sounds interesting." Mimosa said. "So then all the screaming we heard earlier…"
"That was when Vanessa started ripping all my clothes off, without permission." Noelle stated.
"I was helping, it's not like you can try a swimsuit on over your clothing." Vanessa said.
"Technically you can, just put them on over your underwear, but it's just a bit of hit and miss with that method though." Mina said.
"No way, I believe that's the kind of thing you have to be naked for. Back me up." Vanessa said, turning to the shop employee.
"So then, what's he doing here?" Yuno asked.
"I was dragged along, because Mina wanted me to help her try on the ones she chose." Kaen stated.
"Wait, that robe. You're a member of the Black Bulls?" Klaus questioned.
"I am indeed. Klaus right? Nice to meet the Golden Dawn. Hope we can get along." Kaen said holding out his hand for Klaus to take. "My name's Kaen Yagi. Newest member of the Black Bulls."
"Nice to meet you." Klaus said, shaking his hand.
"Hey Kaen, don't you need a swimsuit too?" Kali asked.
"I do, but I didn't think I'd be able to while you girls were trying them on." Kaen stated.
"Nonsense, helping me put mine on wasn't the only reason I brought you here. Grab a swimsuit and give it a try." Mina said.
"Alright." Kaen said, grabbing the closest pair of mens swimwear. "Sorry to cut the chat short, but I gotta see if these fit."
"No need for explanations. We'll be on our way." Klaus said.
"Hold on." Yuno said, noticing the tail around Kaen's waist. "Is that a tail?"
"Ah, so you noticed that huh Yuno?" Kali asked. "Yep Kaen here, is the same race as me and Asura. Mina and Eri too. He even knows what we are, and where we come from."
"So then, does that mean you…"
"No." Kali said. "Asura and I chose not to hear what they had to say. We decided that finding out for ourselves would be better, and much more satisfying."
"I guess whatever works for you." Yuno said.
"Yuno, come on we must depart." Klaus called to the Golden Dawn rookie.
"See you around Kali." Yuno said, heading out of the store.
"See you Yuno." Kali smiled.
~Day of Departure for the Beach~
"Alright Gang, we ready to role out?" Magna questioned excitedly.
"Did we have to get up so early?" Vanessa asked with a yawn.
"I'm so sorry my dearest Marie. I wish that I could take you along to get a glimpse of the beach." Gauche said, holding up a picture of his sister.
"Be sure to keep Eri away from him." Kaen said, defensively standing in front of Mina and Eri.
"Don't need to tell me twice." Mina said.
"I wonder which ones stronger, a whale or a shark?" Luck asked.
"Sharks are no match for whales. Their size alone is enough to intimidate any shark that comes their way, unless it's a Megalodon then we're talking dinosaurs versus whales." Kaen stated.
Charmy was just sleeping soundly on a cloud of cotton.
"What the hell do you two think you're doing?" Magna questioned, before the swear jar was held up to him. "Seriously?"
"House rules. If Mina and Kaen's kid is around then you gotta add two coins to the swear jar, Yami's rules." Vanessa said.
"Since when?" Magna questioned putting two coins in the jar.
"Since I added two coins when I accidentally cursed after stubbing my toe the other day." Kali stated, Niji sitting on her shoulder yawning.
"Damn it, Captain's acting all fatherly, and making new rules." Magna said.
"Swear." Eri said, holding the jar up to him again.
"Fine." Magna groaned, putting two more coins in. "But what do you two think you're doing? Plopping your butts right on Crazy Cyclone like that without asking."
"Well I can't really fly since I can't use magic, so I kinda had to hitch a ride." Asta said.
"Same here, except I can't control my magic all that well, or did you forget?" Noelle questioned.
"Hey I got a solution that might be helpful to the both of you." Mina said, reaching into her Duplication Void and pulling out what looked like a small tent that fit in her palm. "Tada. You can just go in here, and either Kaen or I will carry it."
"You're joking right? There's no way one of us will even fit in that thing, let alone the both of us." Noelle said.
"The inside is a lot bigger then it looks." Kaen said. "Warped space. The inside is about as big as the foyer of the base, but furnished like a bedroom, or an apartment living room depending on which one Mina grabbed."
"I grabbed the apartment living room one, don't worry." Mina stated. "Basically, you'll both have plenty of space for the trip."
"I guess that could work." Noelle said.
"You'll be sharing it with Asta." Mina smirked. "It'll just be the two of you."
"What?" Noelle questioned, blushing heavily.
"Hey, Captain Yami isn't still sleeping is he?" Asta asked.
"No, he said he was going ahead of us to go check on something." Finral said.
"Wow, so Miracles really do happen." Vanessa said. "The Captain is actually working?"
"That is a surprise." Mina said, stuffing Asta and Noelle into the Warped Space Tent.
"Yep, that's our Yami for ya." Magna stated, hopping onto Crazy Cyclone. "Alright Black Bulls, the beach is waiting for us."
"Hold it." Kali said.
"What now?" Magna asked.
"We're still missing Asura." Kali stated.
"No we're not. He's already on his way." Kaen said. "He wasn't gonna come here and leave with us. He'd have to travel in the opposite direction to…"
"Sorry I'm late." Asura said, landing on the ground. "Had a bit of troubling finding my bag last night, so I kinda slept in a bit."
"Oh, it's no trouble, we were just about to head out." Kali said with a light blush.
"Great. Glad I made it in time." Asura said, a blush of his own forming on his cheeks.
"Huh, someone's definitely got the hots for Kali." Mina smiled.
"I know." Vanessa snickered.
"Hey, where are Asta and Noelle?" Asura asked. "Are they not coming?"
"Oh they're right here." Mina said holding up the tent.
"What is that?"
"A tent with warped space inside." Kaen said. "They can't fly on their own, so we figured out a solution that wouldn't ware anyone out."
"That's actually pretty smart." Asura said. "Alright, let's get going."
~That Afternoon at Raque~
"Oh man, it's so gorgeous out here." Mina smiled, marveling at the sand, sun, and ocean with Eri and the rest of the Black Bulls, all dressed in their swimsuit, while Vanessa was pouting at her.
"You refused to wear one of my swim suits, yet you'll wear that?" Vanessa asked.
"What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" Mina asked.
Mina stood on the beach, her skin the same light coco tan color she made it after taking over the tavern, while her clothes were a bit more risque. She wore a pair of tight fitting tankini bottoms, with flip flops and a pink flower embroidered on the right upper thigh near her hip, and a sun hat and a blue flower in her hair. While her top, was a little more revealing then it should have been.
"You're literally wearing nothing but a couple of starfish pasties over your tits." Noelle said, her face blushing at Mina's bold choice of swimwear.
"Oh my top?" Mina asked, before smiling as she hooked her finger in the middle, and actually pulled it back. "Actually it's a bathing suit tube top with a starfish design to be over my chest. You should have realized since the space for my cleavage was still flat like I was wearing a shirt. I just made the black fabric the same color as my skin using my camouflage Quirk that Kaen's sister gave me. Turns out I can make anything I touch a different color if I concentrate enough, downside is the more I change the color of something that's not me, the worse of a headache, or migraine I get when changing the color."
"Bold choice. That's kinda clever of you to do." Vanessa said in realization. "An' it definitely covers more then one of my bikinis would have."
"Just out of curiosity, who suggested that idea to you?" Noelle asked.
"No one, this is just who I've always been." Mina smiled.
"I'm certainly not complaining." Kaen smiled, wearing what looked like a black sleeveless diving suit, with the pant legs stopping mid-thighs, and blue trims as he was doing his stretches.
"You certainly look like you're ready to go swimming." Vanessa said.
"Swimming is a good endurance exercise, and an excellent method for building up your stamina." Kaen said. "Let me know if Captain Yami shows up. He might wanna meet to convey what he found."
"Hold on, I'm coming for endurance training too." Asura said.
"Me too." Kali called back running after the other two.
"At least Kali's wearing something a bit more conservative, but did she had to go for a single piece like those two?" Mina asked.
"She's hiding her scars." Niji said. "She got hurt on her first official mission for the Black Bulls, and has some pretty bad scarring."
"Mama, I wanna go swimming." Eri said, wearing a white tiger themed one piece bathing suit with a couple of floaties on her arms, and a floaty doughnut around her waist. "I'm ready."
"Alright Eri, let's go have some fun." Mina smiled.
As the group split up to do their own thing, the day seemed to tick by, and before long, Yami indeed made himself known, and called for a meeting.
"Hey, where are Kali and the other two? Kaen and Asura, or whatever?" Yami asked.
"They've been doing endurance training all day." Asta said, pointing to the water and showing Yami that the three were still doing laps in the waves. "Apparently it's a good workout for building stamina."
"Well they're not wrong. So long that's all Kali's doing with either of those two." Yami said, before putting out a cigarette. "HEY YOU THREE. GET IN HERE TIME FOR A TEAM MEETING."
It was another minute, but the trio had acknowledged what he said, and made their way back to the team, taking their places next to the others.
"Okay everyone listen up." Yami began. "While you were all busy goofing off or training, I was out scoring us some intel."
"That sounds promising." Kaen said.
"Apparently the Underwater Temple is beneath the surface of the ocean around here." Yami continued. "Unfortunately, the Mana driven currents are too strong, so even a skilled Water Mage couldn't normally get near it. The only time the Mana's even weak enough to possibly access it, is during a full moon."
"From the sounds of it, the Underwater Temple, without a doubt is on the ocean floor, hence the name." Niji said. "An' the next full moon is a week away, and we don't have anyone that skilled with water magic to take us there."
"An' that's where Noelle comes in." Yami added.
"Me?" Noelle questioned.
"We're gonna hitch a ride on your Water Magic." Yami stated.
"But sir, I'd need exceptional control over my magic to manage something like that." Noelle said. "No I can't do it, find someone else. If you were all relying on me, and I messed up…"
"Hey, calm down Noelle." Kali said. "You've been making incredible progress with controlling your magic. I have no doubt you'd be able to handle it. No one's gonna die on this journey, because I have faith in you and I know you can do this. Like Niji said, the next full moon's a week away, so we have plenty of time to hone your skills more and prepare."
