CHAPTER 3 - A New Threat
[6 YEARS AGO]
[12 year old Nathan is seen with Guhan, Liah and the black-hair haired teen all laying on a mysterious table. He is barely conscious as he hears the sound of doors being burst open by two figures, Adrian and Nathan's Uncle, Cassian.]
MYSTERY VOICE 1: [fear/surprise] ADRIAN?!
[The mysterious figure turns towards Adrian and Cassian.]
MYSTERY VOICE 1: [worried/calm] No, you can't have them. Their souls are important to the spell. Their souls can save everyone from an incredible danger that is coming to this universe and others as well. If you do this… you will never see your father again nor other family member's you have lost, Adrian.
MYSTERY VOICE 2: [coming from above Nathan] Or… Even seeing the world be at peace finally…
MYSTERY VOICE 1: [worried] Don't you get it?! A tremendous darkness will come to swallow this entire universe unless we do this! Please… Make the right choice!
ADRIAN: You're right… I do want my old family back… I lost my own father… my aunt… but I will not lose another family member ever again… NOW CASSIAN!
[Adrian shouts as he and Cassian begin to attack the mysterious figures, it becomes a gigantic battle until everything goes silent minutes later. Nathan is still unconscious with the other three as a sudden loud alarm begins to sound and a fire has also been started. Adrian and Cassian run over to the four as both started coughing and trying to catch their breaths. Adrian picks up Nathan and Liah while Cassian picks up Guhan and the teen.]
ADRIAN: [worried/fearful] I got you both… I got you both…
[Nathan opened his eyes slightly, feeling his father carrying him towards a safer place. His eyes began to feel heavy again from exhaustion as he fell back asleep to the sounds of gunfire, a huge siren and the smell of burning wood.]
[PRESENT DAY]
[Nathan is sleeping peacefully against the limo door. Suddenly, Angel shakes him by the shoulder to wake him]
ANGEL: Wake up, Nathan. You've been sleepin' for the past several minutes. We're almost there.
[Nathan slowly opened his eyes and yawned, remembering the memory he had just dreamt about.]
NATHAN: [jokingly] Sorry, I guess working at the hotel has made me feel.. Well.. sleepy hehe…
ANGEL: [annoyed] Yeah well, it's a pain in the ass for me to watch over you while you sleep like some sort of child..
[Both of them look out of the windows in the limo, as if trying to avoid the topic of what's to come next on their trip.]
NATHAN: [worried but calm] So… When I get to the studio umm.. Will your boss show me where to go to take care of Nuggets? Instead of molesting me or worse?
ANGEL: Oh yeah yeah.. The boss and his fellow "friends" will help ya out. Though ya really gotta watch your back with them, busta', because the demon's down here can do a lot worse than you can ever imagine.. Alot worse…
NATHAN: Oh I figured. Which is why I might need to defend myself in these types of situations…
[Nathan suddenly pulled a small pocket knife from his pocket. Angel looked at the small knife for a moment before letting out a slight chuckle and then looking back at Nathan.]
ANGEL: [chuckles] Well, you're going to need something much more powerful than that flimsy butter knife, ya got there. Take my advice, kid. Don't get yourself killed messing around with ol' Val. He is stronger than he looks, so don't try anything stupid, alright?
NATHAN: [confident] I umm… Of course, Angel. I will do my best to not cause problems.. Hopefully…
ANGEL: [sighs] Thatta boy.
[Nathan checked his other pocket, making sure the pistol was still securely in place that he secretly brought with him before he agreed to come with Angel. The limo soon parked near a building with a sign above reading "Porn Studios". Nathan looked out of the limo window as he reminded himself that he needed to be prepared for any danger he might face.]
TRAVIS: [angrily] Now, you sluts, get out of the car!
ANGEL: [laughs] Yeah yeah, thanks for the ride, ya fuckin' mut!
[Both of them step out of the limo, looking up at the building in front of them as the limo pulls away.]
ANGEL: Well, Nathan, here we are. Also, be sure to keep your dick in your pants while you're in there.
NATHAN: Ehhh I don't think I'm into underworld demon's or some other shit like that.
ANGEL: Pfft.. Yeah, we will see about that, busta'.
[They both enter the studio without turning back. Nathan begins to look around, noticing different pleasure rooms and film equipment. Angel and Nathan soon stop at someone sitting in the main entrance lounge.]
ANGEL: [sighs] Oh boy… Nathan, just keep quiet and let me do the chitty chat.
[Angel steps up to the mysterious red-haired demon with a fake smile.]
ANGEL: How ya doin', Velvet?
[Velvet turns towards both of them with a huge smile upon her face.]
VELVET: [excited] Ooh~! How marvelous to see you back for another great time at work, Angel! And I see you have brought along a little plaything to fuck?!
ANGEL: [annoyed] N-no, this is just an acquaintance of mine who is here to look after my little Nuggies while I work.
VELVET: [excited/teasing] Ooh~! Well then… Looks like you're gonna have to talk to Valentino about all that before you can even start shakin' those fluffy tits today! [giggles]
ANGEL: [annoyed] Fine. C'mon, Nathan. Let's go meet the big boss.
VELVET: [teasing/evil] And also, kid! Respect Valentino… Or else you will regret it. [giggles maniacally] Ya think Lucifer is the worst down here? Ya ain't seen nothin' yet!
ANGEL: [reassuringly] Ignore her. She is as crazy as a bucket of drugs.
NATHAN: [confident] Right, right. So, is almost everyone down here crazy?
ANGEL: Well, what do you expect? It's hell! And it's filled with tons of evil, monsters and shit kickers out there. Although, some of them still have a mind, at least.
[Soon both of them walk up to a door that is labeled "Valentino". Angel begins to knock on the door to get Val's attention.]
ANGEL: [sweetly] Hey, Val~! I'm here like ya asked me to~!
VALENTINO: [sinister/sweet] You may come in, Angel Cakes~
[Angel opened the door and both of them entered Valentino's room. It was filled with different equipment for sexual pleasure, most of them being used for bondage purposes. Valentino spun around in his office chair to look at Angel.]
VALENTINO: [sinister/sweet] Well, well, well… Angel Cakes~... I'm glad to see you've graced us with your presence once again~...
[He turns to look directly at Nathan. A chill ran down Nathen's spine as he looked back at Valentino, his eyes appearing to stare right into Nathan's soul.]
VALENTINO: [sinister/sweet] Ahhh~... And I see you've brought the human with you… Well then, it is quite a pleasure to meet you~...
[Valentino smiled as he extended his hand towards Nathan for a handshake. Nathan hesitated for a moment, not sure if this would be a trick or not but then he soon shook the demon's hand.]
NATHAN: [fearful] A-And you must be Valentino that Angel has told me about…
VALENTINO: [chuckles sinisterly] Why, yes I am. I'm surprised Angel Cakes here has even brought you along.
NATHAN: Eh.. It's just another job I have to do. Which is helping out, I guess…
VALENTINO: [sinister/sweet] Heh.. Well then, I really do hope you love it here, kid. [He grins at Nathan then turns to Angel.] And as for you, Angel Cakes… You better start impressing me with those moves soon~...
ANGEL: [sighs/depressed] Yeah yeah… Nathan, let's go. I will show you the room where you will be taking care of my Nuggies.
NATHAN: O-ok then.
[Nathan began to follow Angel Dust down a hall but looked back just in time to see Valentino flash him a huge evil grin and waving him off.]
VALENTINO: [sinister/sweet] Have a good time here, Nathan~!
[Nathan felt another chill run down his spine at those words but chose to remain calm and do his job, for Angel's sake. After a few moments, they both stop at another door and Angel opens the door, revealing his personal wardrobe and make-up station.]
ANGEL: [gasps in excitement] NUGGIES!
[Nuggets is seen snuggled under a blanket and Angel swoops up the little creature in his arms for a big hug.]
ANGEL: [sighs happily] Oh how daddy has missed you~!
[Nathan looked over at the little creature, noticing that it was indeed an adorable pig.]
NATHAN: So, I'm guessing this is Nuggets?
ANGEL: [sweet but turns into a warning tone] Mhm… Now I want you to take good care of my sweet little boy, alright, busta'? I swear that if I find out you let anything happen to my adorable Nuggies… By the time I am done with you… you will be praying for death…
[Nathan only managed a nod in response to Angel's warning, thinking about how serious Angel must be about his pet pig.]
ANGEL: [sweet] Alright, Nuggies~! Stay here with Nathan and be a good boy, ok~?
[Angel gives Nuggets a small kiss on the head and hands him off to Nathan, which causes him to stumble slightly from the weight of the small pig.]
NATHAN: Woah.. He is umm.. Pretty heavy for a small pig.
ANGEL: Yeah well, that's Nuggets for ya. If he gets hungry, his food is over there on the counter and remember to play with him so he gets his exercise. And don't forget my warning, Nathan. Bye, Nuggies~!
[Angel waves at Nuggets before leaving for his job, closing the door behind him and leaving Nathan alone with the little pig. Nathan sat on a stool with Nuggies oinking up at him.]
NATHAN: [jokingly] So, you're a pig named Nuggets… I think that is a perfect name for a pig hahaha
[3 YEARS AGO]
[15 year old, Nathan, is walking with his sister, Liah, and his father, Adrian, through the nearby forest. They are looking for anything suitable to help with target practice.]
NATHAN: Wait so… Grandma and grandpa met when they were kids? And you and mom met in the woods?
ADRIAN: Yep! Your mother and I got along pretty well until… Well, you know… After those long months, I thought I had lost someone I loved very much. That is, until your mother found me again.
LIAH: So let me get this straight… Mom was a wolf during that time but you didn't realize it until you turned into a wolf like mom?
ADRIAN: Pretty much. I mean, I thought some random wolf was trying to eat me heh. That is until I found out that your mother was in danger when she disappeared. Later on while we were in our wolf form's, we found some help and change back. However, the wolf transformation has stayed with us and we only bring that part out to fight off danger.
NATHAN: Wow.. You know.. I'm glad mom found you again.. Or else I don't know what would have happened to you.. But umm… Dad..? How did grandma and grandpa's relationship start?
ADRIAN: Haha well… it is definitely a long story I heard from your grandmother. I think it's best for me to tell you when we get home later.
[All three of them suddenly stop in their tracks at the sound of an animal's cry in the distance. Adrian looks to his children and gives them a hand signal to stay hidden. Nathan and Liah both nod to their father in response as all three begin to quietly walk toward the sound of the animal cry. The cries get louder as they get closer and they suddenly notice two hunters, grabbing a couple of owl's by their legs and laughing while the owl's screamed in terror. Adrian, Liah and Nathan all crouched in the nearby bushes to quietly observe the hunter's.]
HUNTER 1: Hahaha! When we take these things back, they will make us a ton of cash!
HUNTER 2: Hehe yeah. Too bad the little one escaped. However, I think these will do nicely!
[Adrian stared at the hunter's and decided to come up with a plan to save the poor creatures. Adrian turned to Liah and Nathan, softly talking to them as to not be heard by the hunters.]
ADRIAN: Alright, we have to save those poor things. When the hunters make their move to leave, that's when we will strike. We will follow them quietly and when the time is right, we will ambush them. Liah, I want you to take one of them out and if they try to attack after that, Nathan, you must hurry and save the owl's. Do you both understand?
[Nathan and Liah both look at each other for a moment, understanding what they must do and they respond to Adrian with a nod.]
ADRIAN: Good. Both of you be careful, alright? They have weapons.
[As soon as the hunters begin to make their move with their trophies, the three family members secretly follow behind them. After a few moments, Liah found her vantage point and quietly made her way up to the high ground, removing an arrow from its quiver and aiming her bow at one of the hunters. Meanwhile, Nathan is positioning himself with his rifle to prepare for the ambush on both hunters. Liah's first shot lands right in the first hunter's knee, causing him to fall and scream in pain. The second hunter, stunned from the sudden attack, drops the net holding the owls and he pulls out his pistol, looking around in terror as he wonders who shot the arrow.]
HUNTER 1: [screaming in pain] AHH FUCK!
HUNTER 2: [fearful] Who the fuck is out there?!
[The second hunter shouted towards the trees around him, his eyes scanning over the forest for any sign of where the arrow came from. Suddenly, he catches a glimpse of Liah, hiding in the shadows. He raises his pistol, about to fire until Nathan sends a shot flying into the second hunter's back. The second hunter rushes toward Nathan from the sudden shot and Nathen tries to take another shot. Unfortunately, he is too late and the second hunter already has his hands wrapped around Nathan's neck and strangling him. Nathen is gasping for air and clawing at the hunter's hands until he hears another shot. The hunter's hands suddenly go limp and his entire body collapses to the ground, a bullet wound in his head. Nathan breathes heavily, looking up to see that it was his dad that had caused the finishing blow.]
ADRIAN: [worried/calm] You alright, kiddo?
NATHAN: [breathing heavily] …Yeah, Dad… Thanks…
[Nathan got up from the ground seeing Liah coming out of the shadows.]
LIAH: [joking/smiles] Jesus! Thanks for taking one for the team there, Nathan!
[The first hunter, still groaning from his knee injury, tries to crawl away without taking the owls with him. The owls are still trapped in the nets and panicking, unsure of what is happening. Adrian notices this and walks over to him, grabbing him by his shirt and lifting him up to his face.]
ADRIAN: [angry] Do NOT… hunt these poor owls again and even touch my son or you will end up like your friend. Do you understand?
HUNTER 1: [scared/begging] Y-yes! Please just let me go!
[Adrian then rips the arrow out of the hunter's knee, causing the hunter to let out a pained scream. He then tosses the hunter a few feet away, landing with a thud on the ground and the hunter limps away in defeat. Nathan and Liah notice the panicked owls and they walk over to them calmly, not wanting to alarm them more. Liah slowly grabbed the net and the owls began to panic again.]
LIAH: [comforting] Hey, hey… It's ok, you guys… We won't hurt you, alright…?
[Liah began to pet them to try and calm them down. Nathan joins in with the pets and soon both of the owls rest their heads against their chests.]
NATHAN: We need to hurry and release them so they can be free to live the rest of their lives.
ADRIAN: Agreed. Be careful releasing them, you two. They could still hurt you with their sharp talons, alright?
[Both of the children nodded as they carefully opened the net to release the owls. The owls soon flew out and went to a nearby tree where they found their owlets. The owls looked very happy and relieved to be free of the net and back with their hatchlings.]
ADRIAN: We did good back there… We did good.
[Nathan smiles as he continues to watch the owl family, wondering if there will be more adventures like this and more people that will need to be saved in the future until he looked far at an abandon building with the destiny's symbol covered in the word's 'Your Fault'.]
NATHAN: dad...
[Liah and Adrian looked at where Nathan was looking while Nathan started to feel grief about his past in the town of bahemuz]
ADRIAN: Let's just both go...
[All three walked back into the woods but Nathan couldn't forget about the past he had with his father and the other's he was with]
[PRESENT DAY]
[Nathan is seen snuggling with Nuggets, his eyes closed as he also listens to a cassette player. The music stopped playing and he let out a long sigh, remembering a memory that he cherishes. Nathan heard a loud bang from outside the room and quickly took off his headphones, wondering about the noise.]
NATHAN: Nuggets, stay here.
[Nuggets' only response is an oink. Nathan slowly opens the door to the hallway just a crack to peek outside but then suddenly Nuggets rushes through the door and out into the hallway.]
NATHAN: Nuggets! Wait!
[Nathan chases after Nuggets through the studio. Nuggets finally stops at a dead end and Nathan scoops him up into his arms.]
NATHAN: ah hah! I got you!
[Nathan lets out a sigh in relief as he begins to make his way with Nuggets back to Angel's room. He noticed a mumbling sound coming from the wall and figured it must have been from the people inside the room beside him. He was curious so he placed his ear against the wall to see if he could make out what the voices were saying.]
UNKNOWN VOICE: We must kill him! Haha! Maybe we can even torture him!
NATHAN: [quietly to himself] What the hell?
[Nathan looked for a door but found none. He did, however, find a very large poster of Valentino hanging up on the wall beside him. After inspecting the poster, he rips it from the wall and reveals a lever. He quickly pulls the lever and a piece of the wall begins to move in front of him, revealing stairs that lead straight down.]
NATHAN: Shit….. Nuggets, I need you to stay quiet, alright?
[Nathan held onto Nuggets, hoping the small pig would remain quiet while he went down the stairs. He wonders to himself about what is going on and why Valentino would have some sort of secret lair. Nathan went even deeper into the dark depths. The voices he heard from before start to grow louder as he continues down the stairs. Something about the whole situation gave Nathan a horrible feeling in his stomach.]
VOX: [evil/laughing] Wow! The child is coming after him for that reason?!
VELVET: [taunting/laugh] Ouchie! That day really must have hurted Nathan, huh?! Too bad he took it like a pussy!
[Nathan carefully looks from around the corner and notices two demons that he recognizes but one that he doesn't. He continues to listen to the conversation as he holds Nuggets close and makes sure not to drop him.]
VALENTINO: [sinister/chuckles] Well… We all know what we must do… If Nathen is ever to continue through the cities, he will find them. We must make haste… and put him out of his misery once and for all.
[Valentino lets out a small chuckle as he also takes in a puff of smoke to start his plan.]
NATHAN: [thinking to himself] Those motherfuckers… They know where the hell he is…
VOX: Well Valentino… As I know, he is in Angel's room taking care of that stupid pet pig of his.
VALENTINO: Well Vox… We will just silently take him away and Angel will never suspect a thing…
VELVET: [excited] Oh! And what about the pig, Val?!
VALENTINO: Well… We could kill that little bastard… But I think keeping the poor wretch alive will keep Angel from crying his fucking eyes out. But as of now, we must kill Nathan and leave nothing left behind! Hehe… He will die the same way his loved ones died before him. Haha! What a fucking failure! He was and never will be strong enough to fight back and be like his father!
[Valentino laughs about Nathan's pain with the other two demons, all of them laughing in unison. Nathan's blood starts to boil from listening to the three of them mock his life and remembering his most traumatizing moment, seeing all the blood and the lost. Nathan suddenly pulls his pistol out of his pocket and sends a shot right into Valentino's shoulder, causing the other two demons to look over at him and Nuggets. Nathan still held the pistol out in front of him towards the demons.]
NATHAN: [angry/rage] DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE TALK ABOUT THAT TIME!
[Valentino's smile grew across his face as he held his shoulder in pain. He started chuckling but then it grew more maniacal.]
VALENTINO: [sinister] That was painful, Nathan! And highly rude of you to interrupt out little conversation~!
NATHAN: Then you fuckers better learn to not fucking talk about-…. Just don't fucking talk about my past!
VOX: Awww… Did we hurt the son of Adrian's little feelings? Wah wah wah…
VELVET: HAHAHA! I'm sorry, Nathan, but we just can't take you seriously! Your father, well… he scared many villains in the human world and even in our world but you?! Well..You're like an angry little piss ant!
[Velvet let out a maniacal laugh as the others joined in. Nathan's memories started to grow more, one by one, hearing the laughter and screams coming back to him. He tears up remembering his mistake, not being able to save everyone and feeling like a failure to his whole family.]
NATHAN: [rage] I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL!
[Nathan shouted in anger towards them as he suddenly let go of Nuggets and fires his pistol towards the three while Nuggets runs away in terror from the gun shots. The three demons took cover but then mysteriously vanished from the room which left Nathan confused with his blood boiling from anger.]
NATHEN: [rage] WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU FUCKERS?!
VOX: Right here~!
[Vox suddenly appeared, grabbing Nathan by the neck and pinning him against a wall. The unexpected attack causes Nathan to drop his pistol.]
VOX: You really shouldn't have come down here, Nathan. It looks like you will die here without ever seeing your family again! [laughs]
NATHAN: [struggles to breath] G-Get off of me!
[Nathan collects his thoughts and remembers the knife in his pocket, reaching down for it and using it to stab Vox in the waist.]
VOX: GAH! YOU LITTLE SHIT!
[Vox throws Nathan across the room from the pain of the knife attack. Nathan fell to the ground with a thud, noticing the stairs to the way out behind him. He tries to rush towards the stairs but is stopped by Velvet.]
VELVET: [sinister/teasing] Where are you going, Nathan?! Don't you want us?!
[She steps closer to Nathan with a growing grin on her face. Nathan backs away slowly while looking for anything to throw. He suddenly sees a glass cup and he quickly throws it towards Velvet. She dodges the glass but this gives Nathan a chance to run towards the stairs. Until Valentino appears in front of him.]
VALENTINO: [sinister] Did you really think we would let you go that easily~? How pathetic~~
[Valentino watches Nathan with a smile. Nathan then tries to hit him but Valentino catches his arm, crushing his arm within his grip and causing Nathan to scream out in pain.]
VALENTINO: Hasn't Lucifer ever told you about one thing here in hell, Nathen…? Some of us are OVERLORDS!
[Valentino shouted as he threw Nathan across the room and onto a table, causing the table to break instantly from the fall. Nathan lies on the floor, seriously injured, as he tries to catch his breath, wincing from the intense pain. He notices his pistol not that far away from him. Nathan lets out a pained grunt as he slowly begins to crawl towards his pistol. He reaches out his hand to grasp the weapon but suddenly feels intense pain as Vox's foot slams down on his outstretched hand.]
VALENTINO: [sinister] Oops~ We're you about to get that~?!
[Nathan lets out a scream in pain as he hears his hand being crushed under Vox's foot.]
VELVET: [teasing/evil] I'm sorry that we are going to have to do this to you but… This seems alot funnier if we did!
[Velvet laughs maniacally as she kicks Nathan away. Nathan covers his face as she kicks him, flipping over and seeing the three above him. Valentino pulls out his pistol and points it at Nathan.]
VALENTINO: [sinister/laugh] Don't worry, Nathan! You will join the ones who couldn't forgive you for your failure~!
[Valentino starts to laugh maniacally as the other two demons join him. Nathan starts to cough up blood, thinking this is the end of his life.]
NATHAN: [thinking to himself, preparing for death] guys… I'm coming…
ANGEL: HEY ASSHOLES!
[Angel Dust suddenly appears in the room, shouting to get the three demons' attention, holding a tommy gun in one of his hands and ready to fire at them at any moment.]
ANGEL: GET DOWN, NATHAN!
[Angel Dust fires his weapon, spraying bullets towards the group and causing the three demons to take cover. Nathan keeps his head down as well, trying not to get hit until Angel suddenly pulls him up while Nathan grabbed his pistol and both begin to make a run for the stairs.]
ANGEL: [shouting as they run] Jesus, Nathan! They really want you dead, huh?!
NATHAN: [breathing heavily] Yeah! I guess Lucifer was right about these guys wanting to kill new visitors but now we have to get back to Charlie!
ANGEL: You got it, baby! But first, we must get Nuggies!
NATHAN: Wait, you found Nuggets?
ANGEL: Of course! My little Nuggies came rushing through the studio until I caught up with him. For a second there, I thought ya let him go but then I heard a loud noise.
NATHAN: Oh well.. That makes sense I guess but umm… Thanks for helping me out back there…
ANGEL: Yeah, yeah, that still doesn't make us friends, busta'. [chuckles]
NATHAN: Heh.. Alright then.
[Both of them rush back to Angel's dressing room to get Nuggets safely out of the studio. Angel safely put Nuggets in a carrier while Nathan looks around for another weapon, finding another pistol and hiding it safely on himself.]
ANGEL: Alright, Nathan. I want you to hold Nuggets while I protect us, alright? We are going to make a run for the exit and try to get into any car we can. Got it?
NATHAN: Of course… Hell… I've been through worse…
ANGEL: Alright on the count of 3… 1…2…3!
[Angel shouts the count as both of them suddenly begin running out of the dressing room and towards the exit of the porn studio as fast as they can. Many of Valentino's goons started to try and attack the two but would end up being gunned down by Angel and Nathan. They were just about to make it to the exit when the gates shut close on the exit doors.]
ANGEL: [anger] SHIT!
[Valentino suddenly appeared before them, clapping his hands.]
VALENTINO: [sinister] I got to give it to you both. You two have gotten past my little helpers… but you couldn't get out in time… What a shame~
[Velvet and Vox soon appeared beside Valentino along with more goons aiming their weapons at Angel and Nathan. Angel realizes he is out of ammo for his tommy gun and knows this could be the end for both of them.]
ANGEL: [defeated] Well, kid, looks like this is the end of the line.
[Nathan looks around in desperation for any way out of this situation. He notices a lose vent under them and forms a plan.]
NATHAN: Not today, Angel!
[Nathan uses all of his force with Angel and they both crash through the loose vent door beneath them and fall down a tunnel that leads underneath the city. Nathan fell onto his back as he held on tightly to Nuggets cage with Nuggets still safely inside.]
ANGEL: Ouch.. You trying to kill us or what?!
NATHAN: Don't care, let's go!
[The two of them begin running again down the long tunnel, trying to find any way out. Both could hear the mob of goons coming closer as they continued searching. Suddenly coming across a small hole that appears to lead to the sewers.]
NATHAN: There! That is the way out!
[They both run up to the hole but then notice there is one huge problem.]
ANGEL: [worried/angry] Shit, Nathan, I can't fit through this fucking hole and neither can Nuggets!
[Nathan starts to feel panic rise up in him since he is unsure of what to do exactly in these types of situations.]
ANGEL: You know what? Fuck it!
[Angel suddenly handed Nathan his tommy gun and a pair of red glasses. He then takes Nuggets cage from Nathan.]
NATHAN: [confused] Angel, what the hell are you doing?!
ANGEL: [stressed] Find my friend, Cherrie, in Pentagram City. Don't worry about me. I have ways of dealing with this bullshit and try to find Charlie as well!
NATHAN: [fearful/worried] Angel, I won't leave you and Nuggets with those psychos!
ANGEL: [angry but kindness underneath] Nathan, you have to go! ….Please!
[Nathan hesitated while he worried about leaving Angel behind but then he regained his confidence and nodded to Angel.]
NATHAN: [confident] I will save you…even if i dont even know you alot i will come back for you and nuggets!…
[Angel gave Nathan a worried smile as the mobs grew louder.]
ANGEL: Go Nathan!
[The mobs suddenly grab onto Angel while Nathan went into the small hole and escaped Valentino's goons but leaving a trusted friend behind. He fell into deep sewer water as the waves of sewage kept washing over him and sweeping him under. He keeps trying to catch his breath but is pulled under with each wave.]
NATHAN: [desperation/yells] H-help me! Someone!
[Nathan's vision suddenly fades to black from exhaustion. When he does open his eyes again, he finds himself lying in a giant pile of garbage. He slowly looks around as he continues to cough from almost drowning. He is still in the sewer but not exactly where now.]
NATHAN: [Exhuasted] shit...I need to get back..
[Nathan notices a ledge with a ladder that appears to lead outside of the sewers. He made his way over to the ledge and went over to check out the ladder.]
NATHAN: [confident but confused] What fuck am i doing...saving someone you barley know?... [sigh]...Angel… I'm coming…
[Nathan made sure he still had the tommy gun, gear, and the glasses securely on his body. He then begins to climb the ladder and opens the sewer door to the outside. He carefully climbs out of the sewers and takes in his surroundings, noticing that he is no longer in the city but in a small neighborhood.]
RED HOODED DEMON: It's been a while since we've had someone come out here…
[Nathan suddenly turned to see the red hooded demon.]
NATHAN: Uhhh, hi? Umm… Do you know where I am if you don't mind me asking?
RED HOODED DEMON: Well pal, you're in Stupidville.
NATHAN: [confused] ….Stupid what?
RED HOODED DEMON: Yeah, Stupidville. You know, an amazing place to live? C'mon, you're our first human here in hell. Someone has gotta remind you of this place.
NATHAN: [hurriedly] Not really… Look, is there a way back to Pentagram City?
RED HOODED DEMON: Uhhh… yeah. You just got to walk a lot of miles back that way.
[The demon points back towards the far off city in the distance.]
NATHAN: [annoyed] Ohhh you gotta be shitting me! [heavy sigh] Look, is there another way to get there? Perhaps a shortcut? Rather than carrying my ass through all the miles back?
RED HOODED DEMON: Hmmmm…. There is a shortcut to get to Pentagram City, I suppose… But you would have to do me a favor first. [He says with a smirk.]
NATHAN: [hurriedly] Anything. Name it. What is it?
RED HOODED DEMON: Go to Imp City next if you want to explore this place for Lucifer… I heard that place is great for people like me…[smiles]
NATHAN: [confused] Uh…Sure. I can do that.
RED HOODED DEMON: GREAT! Now I can't exactly take you there but I can show you a way in the sewers through Ars Goetia's residence and that could get you back to Pentagram City much quicker. Follow me.
[Nathan follows the Red Demon a short distance to another sewer opening.]
RED HOODED DEMON: Here ya go. This way will get you there much quicker.
NATHAN: [lack of emotion] Well, this is just great.
RED HOODED DEMON: Yep, now I hope you're about to enjoy the long slide you are about to experience…. Nathan…
NATHAN: [sudden realization] Wait! How do you know my na— woooaaaahhhh!
[Nathan was interrupted by the red demon suddenly pushing him into the entrance, causing him to slide down a long sewer pipe for several minutes until he landed in some sewer water.]
NATHAN: Ugh..Who was that guy? Nevermind… That bastard better not be lying…
[Nathan gets up and wipes himself off as best as he can, noticing a small light at the end of another sewer entrance. As he crawled out of the sewer and back up to the street, he noticed a sign that read 'Pentagram City'.]
NATHAN: [relieved/excited] Yes! I'm here! Now I need to find the studi—
[Nathan was interrupted by a huge explosion that caused him to take cover.]
NATHAN: What the hell was that?!
[He looks around and notices two demons fighting on top of a building next to him.]
SIR PENTIOUS: OH YOU ARE ON, BITCH!
CHERRIE BOMB: YEAH! NOW LET'S FUCKING DANCE!
NATHAN: [talks to himself] Jeez… And I thought Bahemuz's town was worse… I have to get out of here.
[Nathan tries to sneak himself through the explosions and into a nearby building, making it safely into the building.]
NATHAN: Ok… Now how do I—?
[Nathan was suddenly interrupted again by part of the roof collapsing in front of him. He coughed and fanned the dust out of his face as he noticed Cherrie Bomb standing on top of the rubble.]
CHERRIE BOMB: [surprised] What in the– It's you?!
SIR PENTIOUS: [shouting down the hole at Cherrie Bomb] You aren't getting away that easily, Cherrie!
NATHAN: [sudden realization] Wait! You're Cherrie Bomb?! I need your hel—!
CHERRIE BOMB: Not now! You've got to get out of here!
[Cherrie runs past Nathan.]
NATHAN: WAIT! I need to talk to youuuuu-OH SHIT!
[Nathan yelled and started to run after Cherrie as he noticed a bunch of egg bois coming down into the building with weapons in hand.]
NATHAN: [yelling after her] CHERRIE BOMB! I NEED TO TALK WITH YOU!
CHERRIE BOMB: Not now! I am kinda busy at the moment! Just get out of here!
[Cherry replied to him as she started to throw more explosives towards the egg bois.]
NATHAN: [frustrated/yelling] GRR! Look, Angel has been taken by Valentino and his friend's!
[Cherrie stopped for a moment in shock as she listened to him. She then turns towards Nathan.]
CHERRIE BOMB: [shocked] What do you mean he was taken–?!
[Cherrie and Nathan were both interrupted and blown back by a giant explosion as Sir Pentious slithers in.]
SIR PENTIOUS: Well well well~ It appears that not only was I dealing with a bitch… but I have also found the human I was looking for~! [smiles]
NATHAN: [irritated] What the hell do you want from me?! [He said as he tried to crawl back up.]
SIR PENTIOUS: Why, just you, of course~! And as for Cherrie… Well… I will let my minions deal with her… but you? You are coming with me! HEHEHAHAHAHA!
[Sir Pentious laughs as he wraps his snake tail around Nathan's legs, trying to pull Nathan along with him.]
NATHAN: [frustrated/struggling] GAAAAHH! Get the fuck off of me! Let go of me!
[Nathan continues to struggle with Sir Pentious' tail as the egg bois begin to corner Cherrie. Nathan suddenly remembers his pocket knife and takes it out, stabbing Sir Pentious' tail and causing him to drop Nathan.]
SIR PENTIOUS: [irritated/angry] OW! How dare you stab me with a fucking butter knife!
NATHAN: Actually it's my handy pocket knife… But I didn't mean to use this!
[Nathan suddenly takes cover and uses the drum gun that Angel had given him on Sir Pentious.]
CHERRIE BOMB: [yells/smiles] C'mon! Is that all you've got?!
[Cherrie yells as she kills off the last of the egg bois. Sir Pentious is taking cover but grabs an explosive he created and tosses it at Nathan's side.]
NATHAN: [see's the bomb] CRAP!
[Nathan jumps in time to remove himself from most of the blast but loses his drum gun in the process. Sir Pentious takes the opportunity to grab Nathan again, coiling his tail around Nathan's entire body.]
SIR PENTIOUS: Now, you little shit, soon I will show you the sweet release of death! [smiles]
[Sir Pentious begins to take Nathan towards his blimp but is interrupted by Cherrie's Bomb.]
CHERRIE BOMB: Oh you are not gonna take him! Any friend of Angel's is a friend of mine!
[She makes a break for it through the egg bois with her explosives, running up to Nathan and grabbing his hand.]
CHERRIE BOMB: [struggles to hold Nathan] GAH! I can't hold on to you! You better not be fucking lying about what you said!
NATHAN: [struggles] Grr! I'm not lying! Please do something and I will tell you everything!
CHERRIE BOMB: [groans] Just stay alive, human, and take these for now!
[Cherrie shouted to him as she handed over some explosives. Nathan let out a gasp as he broke away from Cherrie Bomb, watching her in shock as he was taken up into the blimp. With the strength of Sir Pentious' tail wrapped around his body, Nathan began to feel himself passing out. After a few moments, Nathan slowly opened his eyes to see machines around him as he was chained up in the air.]
NATHAN: [confused/weak] What the…? What is this place…?
SIR PENTIOUS: This place… is your doom… Nathan~! HEHEHAHAHAHAHAHA!
