Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Endless Empires. Enjoy the 3100-word chapter. I don't own Avatar, Nick, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Bryan Konietzko do.
Zhang glanced at the rest of the soldiers as he cleared his throat. He also noticed more fires in the town while he fired a stone at one of the rioters. He was far more ready when it came down to combat as he started to advance into the city with many of Kuvira's soldiers.
He glanced at many of the soldiers who were all united in her Vision. They all wanted something similar which meant they
"Forward!" One of their sergeants yelled before Zhan rolled and fired a stone.
"We need to focus on the protection of the city!" Zhan yelled as he started to think of what was the best option. "We need to spread out and draw their focus!" Zhan yelled before he sighed to himself with annoyance.
These bandits stood for all they had tried to stop. They had little in the way of needs or protection from the rest of the soldiers. They had plenty of soldiers yet there were dozens of bandits which had spread their forces into a larger formation which they weren't prepared to. He cleared his throat before he sighed.
"Where is the Great Uniter?" Zhang questioned while he was slammed into the wall by one of the bandits.
The man threw him to the ground before he rolled along with it and kicked a boulder into the man's chest. He held a hand to his helmeted head while he slowly started to stagger to his feet. How much were they to destroy before they had what they wanted? This anarchy didn't help their home, it didn't bring peace. Nobody profited from it except for the looters. He doubted they cared if the entire city was slowly reduced to tinder.
He growled and slowly started to walk into the city while he tried to gain his bearings. This city hadn't burned since the war and now it seemed as if the fire was all to be left of it. there was almost nothing left to save.
'Where is she? She has to be here. She wouldn't simply run off and let the rest of the city collapse into nothing.' Zhang mentally stated to himself before he started mentally to have gotten the ball rolling.
He wanted to be here and yet he didn't see what to do next. He was interrupted by another bandit which threw a boulder at him as he dodged it. The object slammed into the home behind him as he returned in kind with his stone which had thrown the man backward. They had a LOT more problems when it came down to it and something that was just plain horrid when it was all said and done.
Zhang both pitied these people and at the same time wanted to kill the bandits. They had been the weed that had cut down their growing kingdom. He pitied those who had been pushed into this part of life, but it still was a part of life they had chosen even when society was trying to bend itself back into place.
Did Zhang pity them? Yes, however. He sure well was going to take them all down himself if he had to push himself to the end of the rope. The Earth Kingdom had more and more problems to push aside when it came down to it.
He still didn't know what was coming, how any of this was going to get itself fixed as he was merely one of many soldiers in a very massive system of people at the end.
He stared at the flames around him with a blink as he tried to regain his strength. It felt hard with all this smoke and ash around them. They needed a few soldiers to try and douse them while the others started to try and handle the bandits.
Yet as it appeared? It didn't seem as if they wanted that to happen. He had yet to see any of the soldiers try and stop the infernos that had been placed around the city. He sighed to himself before he realized they needed more soldiers to handle this problem.
He was greeted by a sound of pain and battles while he rotated before he started to think of what had created it. He spotted her a few seconds later while he hummed to himself and cleared his eyes of the dust within them.
He spotted her seconds later before anything happened while he watched as she flipped into the air. He had been a lot harder to adapt to these types of tactics than the second. She had been a lot cooler at the time and it seemed to point out that their empire had become a little more interesting while she seemed to point while she seemed to question what to do next.
Still? There wasn't any backing down from the battle no matter what. She had her problems and she had assigned soldiers like him to deal with them. This had become a lot harder to deal with it at the moment.
"We need to advance into the city." He yelled before a stone slammed into the front of him. "FALL BACK!" Zhang yelled before he seemed to ponder what to do next. "We need to fall back!" Zhang added before he seemed to be forced back at the second.
That was before she came in. A few strips of metal soared across the area and slammed into each soldier. It took them off their feet and threw them across the area. They hadn't a chance in the world as she rolled into a crouch and rallied dozens of her men. Only the great Uniter could begin a counterattack by slicing into the enemy in this manner. It seemed as if she had questioned what to do next. There was a lot more as of the second.
She seemed to question what to do at the second before she pondered on the moment. She watched as he kicked a stone at one of the soldiers with more power he sighed.
"Great Uniter, I didn't expect you'd come to see us deal with these soldiers. The bandits are pushing harder than we expected." Zhang stated to which the woman seemed to sigh.
"There is more here than simple robberies as of the second," Kuvira stated before she crossed her arms. "There will be a lot more at the moment. We need to push forward and crush their army before they regroup." Kuvira said while she sighed to herself.
She had a feeling there was no real way to honestly beat this enemy. It was annoying and she had to fight through their best and brightest. This was why she had created the Earth Empire and still, people seemed to be at odds with her methods even though she had bested them properly. The sooner she was able to bring them to heel the better. Zhang seemed to be waiting for her commands as she shot another piece of metal off her uniform which slammed into the face of one of the soldiers and threw them off their feet. It had been a slow trip so far and a steady advance was for the best if it came down to it.
"We need to split their forces up, have a squad try and break their lines so was can save the civilians," Kuvira ordered to which Zhang nodded before she crossed her arms. "We also need to see what they're hiding, send another unit to swing around and see if we can get behind them," Kuvira said as Zhang nodded once more.
It seemed as if their lines were to push forward slowly. They'd need more soldiers if they were to get this done and dusted in time. any attempt to break their forces was probably to be met with no end of pain from their army. It wasn't going to be good if they attacked them any fiercer. He'd handle that problem when it came down to it. This was not going to help their operations if they didn't hold fast either, there were fewer bandits than the Earth Empire, but they were strong enough to press them into a corner.
He was cut off by Kuvira slamming a stone into one of the bandits. They collapsed over the edge as it seemed to be a lot harder to try anything. There was so blasted much going on and so little time to get this work done that it hurt. It hurt more than anything. It couldn't be understated that there was less work to be said and done before all of the time was a lot hard for her regime at the end of the day. There were fewer blasted things to be. This was how it had been for everyone… And he knew better than to think it could be good for anyone else.
This was a lot more of a hard step to make before now. anything. It had been a nightmare beyond anything to simply think that this could be easily stopped or even pushed back by a little pain in the back.
Then again? If it was so easy to convince people? They'd not have a mighty army. It'd be a hard pill to swallow. They had to be willing to do whatever it took to convince these people that they were not the enemy… A lot easier said than done as of the time being. anything else was an insult and anything better was just… Terrible. He had to be willing to hit harder than anything. If he couldn't? Well? That just meant they had to blast fight harder. They had to be willing to do whatever the heck it took to get to handle this before now. if they were better and faster? Well, he wouldn't need to worry about it. She had to be willing to
There were several dozen problems with this and one more would be a problem that couldn't at all be escaped. It wouldn't be escaped.
It couldn't at the time being. There were more problems to this situation before now when it seemed to be a lot more to handle when it was all done as of the second.
She was a lot more to this than it had been an odd little thing. She was good, one of the best soldiers in the galaxy as of now. What seemed to be a problem.
This was going to be a weird little problem when it seemed to be over as of now. She was a good soldier, one who commanded one of the best armies in the world, one which would rip it apart. If they didn't crush off the army.
She had oddly seemed to be a proper problem when it came down to it. This fight would end before too long. He sighed to himself, all too curious for now when it seemed to be an option. She seemed to question when this would end for now, what seemed to come next. The idea would need to be crossed before it came down to it. The next step was something to end before it was all done and dusted, what came next? It was a lot more to end before now. What happened next was always a hard one for them to make, a small step always seemed to be a problem for now.
He clicked his jawed again before sighing to himself. She sighed as she realized her options had slipped entirely.
The problem was there were just as many bandits as there were other soldiers. They also didn't seem content to just relent on this part of the battle.
Still? if there was anything to do next? It would be crushing the battle for them. What little came next would be a test of her command style when all of it would be done and dusted.
She still wasn't giving up until either her army had been defeated or they were forcing the enemy backward.
Still? if anything? They'd have cut apart the enemy army and extracted their victory from them… Still? if she knew anything from this? It was entirely something that could be done. It was all too easy to plan a counter-attack against them… No, the easiest thing was simply planning how to fight back, the hardest part would be rebuilding, taking what this had before now. It had been a problem for now.
She hummed before now as she realized what to do next there was a fact of the matter that this was done and dusted. There was a lot more on the nose, a lot odder than this had any real reason to have been. If anything, else? Well, there was a lot more to have fixed than what had been focused upon.
She still knew her enemies could be defeated if their soldiers were probably able to use that advantage to win. If anything? There was a lot more to do. Something else that wasn't entirely their problem. There was some leeway with the problem that left them.
She hadn't yet seemed to be capable of more when it came down to this. There was a lot more to focus upon now and she hadn't the faintest idea as to how her soldiers would be. If nothing else? There was a moment of focus before she sighed, questioning what to do next.
There were a few moments where she realized her focus was on what to do next before he sighed, questioning what to do next at the time. There was a lot more to focus on for now. There was something else to be as of now. There was a lot more of a problem to solve. He would be cursed if this became all for nothing.
He sighed to himself, curious as he looked around, prepared for now. She cracked her fingers before she turned and slammed a boulder into the next thug, throwing them down and allowing her to advance forwards, unsure of what to do next. She had yet to properly trim the fat off these thugs and this contest had gotten her nowhere. All it was doing was proving to them before she as of now. There was a lot more to focus upon, a lot they didn't properly handle before now.
She looked around for more and more of the guards seemed to be focused on more. The idea they weren't all over this? Well, it had been a nightmare. They had to take down more thugs or their numbers would overwhelm her soldiers. It would have overwhelmed her.
"This stupid and getting us nowhere. If anything? We need to advance; show them we have teeth. The rest of the soldiers there? There's a lot more to focus on before this was over before now." Kuvira stated before she frowned to herself, looking around.
She sighed before preparing for something. She tilted her head, looking around at her men as she started to watch them slowly break down at the second.
She clicked her fingers against one another. She tilted her head as she questioned what to do next. More men came to stop them. She tossed a boulder towards one of the thugs which threw them as of the fact. She hummed and rolled her eyes before now.
"We need to get going before they rip us apart. The sooner we deal with them? The sooner we get onto the next mission before now." Kuvira stated before she hummed.
It had been odd, a lot odder than she expected it to have been. They'd weather the storm one way or another. The only problem was that she knew sooner or later that this was going to have to be a problem. They could do nothing, nothing to have alleviated the pain, nothing that could get the point across. They had yet to get where they needed to have gone, it only continued to grow out of control. It all had to be brought down to the second. It all had to end today.
He didn't have anything resembling a desire to help. He didn't have much hard work to have focused on which told him point blank they had more and more problems on the horizon which only served to push him closer and closer it wasn't to be easy at all to handle such blatant favoritism wasn't to be ignored.
Kuvira watched as they slowly started to retreat and it felt… Odd, very odd at the end of the day, yet it hadn't at all seemed to have kicked in just how bad it'd have been nor how scary it was to be one of her men when push came to shove.
Her men all shared a look at her as if they awaited her vision and her moves. it was a pure sign to heaven and the underworld they weren't allowed to relax for now and it was all too clear if something didn't at all happen for now.
it was something odd and something terrible, it was clear more or less they had to hit the enemy as of now. Kuvira held up her hand, making them pause as all of them stopped to have questioned what to do next. Kuvira leaped down to try and talk to them as she questioned their options and it was clear many of them didn't at all become complacent about what needed to come next. If anything? She wanted to ensure more and more problems when it comes down to it as of the time being. It wasn't to be properly focused as to how this wasn't to be over for now.
It wasn't going to be ok for now. They weren't going to be prepared for now. it wasn't to be easy, and he knew more than as of now. They'd be able to relax and it wouldn't at all seem to have gotten worse and worse when it came down to it.
