Belos growled and pointed his staff at Luz. He fired and Luz began to play the Violin, making a shield cover her. Luz smiled and looked.
"Is that it?" Luz asked, "I expect more."
Luz's taunt got Belos angry and he charged. Luz jumped out of the way and blasted him with a strong spell from the violin. Belos stumbled forward before turning around and swinging his staff, breaking the bow in half. Luz looked at it and back at Belos.
"Now what are you going to do?" Belos taunted.
Luz looked at him for a second before grabbing the neck of the violin with both hands. Everyone on the roof cringed at the hit Luz delivered to Belos. How the violin didn't break was beyond them, but they were certain Belos skull broke, his mask sure did. Belos was knocked back as his mask fell to the floor. Belos looked up in time to see Luz coming at him fast. He didn't have the time to react as Luz's fist collided with his nose, sending him to the ground. Luz smirked as her wings flapped, keeping her in the air a little. Belos was annoyed.
"How? How are you even able to fly?!"
"That's none of your business." Luz said, making a golden circle with her finger and pointed it at Belos, "All you need to know is, my Nini gives great advice."
Luz enjoyed the fact that Belos hid his face in preparation for her spell. But that wasn't going to do anything... it was a light spell. A large one, but nothing that could do any type of damage besides making it uncomfortable to see for a bit. Belos looked up after realizing that he wasn't hit with anything. He noticed that Luz wasn't standing... flying... there anymore. In fact, she wasn't even in his vision. A small green feather landed in front of him and he looked up. He saw Luz flying towards him at high speed. He barely got out of the way when she landed on the roof, cracking it. Luz stood up and smiled.
'Alright, play it cool, act like you didn't just break your hand.' Luz thought.
"So, you going to throw a punch or do you just want to give up?" Luz asked.
Belos raised his staff and blasted Luz with magic. Luz easily flew up to dodge it, but when she looked down she looked horrified. Belos knew Luz would fly up, which gave him the chance to grab Skara and pull her close. Belos held Skara close and pressed the tip of his staff close to Skara's side, slightly burning her. Luz came back down and glared at Belos.
"Let. Her. Go." Luz said.
"How much do you care for your sister?" Belos asked, "Would you give up everything to protect her?"
"Let her go and I'll show you what I'll do." Luz growled, as he tightened his grip on Skara, "I promise, I will kill you."
"Oh, I'm so scared of-"
Belos was cut off when he was hit in the back of the head by something. He let go of Skara and his staff from the sudden hit. He looked behind and saw Camila with Skara's staff in hand.
"That was for hurting my daughter." Camila said.
He was hit from behind again, this time from Luz.
"And that was for threatening my sister!" Luz said, using a spell to make two balls of fire, "And this is because your tried to kill my family!"
Luz threw the fire at Belos, watching as he burned. Belos screamed as the fire began to burn his skin off. Luz took Skara's staff from her mom and ran at Belos, slamming it against him, managing to snap his neck and let him fall to the ground. Luz watched Belos' body burn, feeling a relief fall off her shoulders.
"Take that you son of a bitch."
So, this seems a bit rushed and unfinished, that's because I needed to get this announcement out. The reason I've decided to take a break... is because I found out I have an anomaly in my heart. I don't know how bad it is yet, so it could be relatively harmless, or it could kill me. I don't know which, and I'm generally scared because of it. I'm still on break, trying to get this dealt with, and trying to set up an appointment with a heart doctor, but I figured I should say something in case something happens.
