Eda opened her eyes and looked around, seeing Luz sleeping in a chair. She sat up and nudged Luz.
"Luz? Luz wake up."
Luz groaned and used her wing to knock Eda's hand away. Eda chuckled at that.
"Alright, mama owl has to do this the hard way."
Eda delivered a light smack to Luz's head, making her wake up.
"Wha-? Where?" Luz asked, looking around.
"Damn, kid, bout time you woke up." Eda said.
Eda laughed a little until Luz grabbed her and hugged her. Eda struggled to get out.
"I thought you were a Bard, not a Construction witch!" Eda said, feeling like her spine was going to snap.
Luz let go and smiled at Eda.
"So, what did I miss?" Eda asked.
"A lot." Luz said, "You... may want to sit down. This is going to be a long conversation."
After spending the next three hours explaining, Eda had an expression on her face that Luz couldn't determine.
"Luz, I love you like a daughter... but fucking Titan, can you go five minutes without trying to get yourself killed!"
"I had to do that, Eda!" Luz said, "I needed to get revenge for what he did! He put you into a coma for two months!"
"It... it's been two months?" Eda asked, looking at Luz's hand, "I... I see I missed your wedding."
Luz looked at the ring on her finger.
"Yeah, Amity and I figured it was finally time to tie the knot." Luz said.
Eda put a hand on Luz's shoulder.
"I'm proud of you kid." Eda said, "Well, I assume your mom and Raine have spoken?"
"More like my mom hit them for getting her pregnant and running." Luz said, "But, they seemed to work things out. They're upstairs right now if you want to talk with them."
Luz grabbed her Violin and headed to the door.
"Where are you going?" Eda asked.
"Skara and I are going to play music together in town, we'll be back later."
"Try to stay out of trouble." Eda said.
"What, you think someone trying to kill me going to just fall out of the sky?" Luz asked with a smile.
"With you, that's a possibility." Eda said, "Have fun."
Luz rolled her eyes. Elsewhere, a portal opened and a person landed on the ground. She had a black metal mask, red armor, a large axe with a sharp metal tip. She stood up and looked around.
"Time to spread a little chaos." Athena said.
