Sick of being weighed down by his comparatively pathetic allies, Greejis decides to take some initiative on his own, the charred locket in Howler's (and by extent his) pocket guiding him to the same unsettling pedestal that was encountered by the party earlier. With nobody to assist him, Greejis casts forth the locket, and it lands on the pedestal, latching itself in place and spewing out a cloud of dark light, from which emerges the partially silhouetted fallen demigod known as Half-Face.
"Heh heh…come on…I want a REAL battle!" Greejis bellows, aiming his newly obtained shotgun at Half-Face with one hand, while the other wields the Golden King's Hammer, ready for combat. Half-Face half-smiles, leering at Greejis as he lowers from the dark light cloud and sets foot on the fleshy, sugary ground. An orb of pulsing antimatter encased in shrouding darkness manifests in Half-Face's hand, and he hurls it at Greejis. Greejis braces for impact, entering a defensive stance, but to his surprise, the orb stops halfway between himself and Half-Face, hovering in midair. Greejis lowers his guard, which proves to be a mistake, as the orb suddenly hurtles straight towards his face. Greejis narrowly avoids having his head blown off by ducking under the orb, and a tree behind him is completely vaporized by the attack as it sails past him. Greejis returns fire with his shotgun, but is shocked to find that his own projectiles also slow down as they approach their target, and after sitting still at the midway point for a moment, they reverse back towards him. Greejis uses his arms to take the brunt of the incoming volley of hellfire rounds, being more agitated than anything else.
"HRAAARRRGGH!" Greejis roars angrily as he jumps towards Half-Face with his hammer, but once again, halfway through running towards Half-Face, Greejis is slowed down to a halt. This time, however, the pause is followed by Greejis rocketing directly into Half-Face, smashing him to the floor with his hammer.
"Like, I think I get it! Anything done by or towards him must have a fifty-fifty chance of being reversed! Oh man, this would be Schrödinger's nightmare!" Shugi exclaims, having wandered away from the rest of his group to smoke weed. Greejis gives Shugi an annoyed glance, and starts yelling at him.
"Stay outta this! This is MY fight, and nobody else is allowed to join! If you try anything, I'll beat you to a pulp!" Greejis roars, not noticing as Half-Face summons another dark orb in his hand and casts it towards Greejis at point blank. Greejis's eyes widen as the orb approaches him, but after pausing for a brief moment, it reverses and crashes into Half-Face. Half-Face is buried several feet into the ground as the antimatter vaporizes everything around him, but he himself seems completely unharmed, and simply shakes his head.
"Time for you to see my better half." Half-Face declares, standing up and pressing a secret button on his shirt, causing the space around him to warp. "Probability override. It can only be active for a half minute, but that's all I'll need."
Half-Face snaps his fingers, and a massive array of dark orbs appears around him. He launches them all at Greejis in a rapid fire manner, and as expected, each and every orb stops halfway before reaching their target. However, this time, not a single orb reverses its trajectory, and all of them begin to home in on Greejis.
"BALANCE BREAKER!" Greejis barely manages to activate his armored state before the orbs crash into him, sending him skidding backwards in his defensive stance, but not penetrating through his powerful protective gear. Half-Face's eye widens in shock.
"What?! Impossib-" before Half-Face can say anything else, Greejis yells out and charges towards him, tackling him to the ground and repeatedly bashing him in the face with his fists. After receiving a thorough pummeling, Half-Face dissipates back into a cloud of dark light, phasing through Greejis and reappearing a few feet away.
"Hmph…that was just half the battle!" Half-Face sneers, before disappearing once more, leaving behind an ancient Artifact known as the Gambler's Bracelet, which causes its wearer to experience either extreme fortune or extreme misfortune, with no in between. He also leaves behind a pair of gloves made entirely of safe-to-wear antimatter, which Shugi takes, just in case he wants them for some reason. Greejis scoffs, dissatisfied with the loot, but he shoves the bracelet into his pocket anyways.
"Why is everyone so WEAK?!" Greejis demands, yelling out to nobody in particular.
"Like, I don't know, man, but you should probably tell the rest of us before you fight one of these guys." Shugi remarks.
"No, no, NO! The whole POINT of this was to have a real CHALLENGE! But I guess if this whole place is just made of WEAKLINGS…it doesn't matter anyways. Show me where the next foe resides!" Greejis declares, and Shugi shrugs, bringing Greejis back to the rest of the group. The party reconvenes, and after analyzing the map, determines that two more of these enemies remain. The party decides to split into two groups to go after these two targets, with one group consisting of Greejis, Shugi, Blingle, Li'l Bleedy, and Knight Nikku, and the other consisting of Melvin, Tora, Skeletone, Bullseye, and Levus.
Greejis and the rest of his group arrive at the blocky statue, and Greejis takes out the rusty pickaxe that Peppermint Larry gave him, inserting it into the statue's hand. The statue rumbles, but the rumbling stops rather quickly, and it seems like nothing happened.
"Hey! What's the big idea?!" Greejis demands, taking a step towards the statue with the intention of breaking it apart himself. Before he can reach the sculpture, though, the ground ruptures, and from it emerges Snakeshit, using a special drill known as True Starminer to cleanly and swiftly burrow through the ground.
"I'm a sssslippery ssssneaky ssssnake!" Snakeshit hisses, activating a cloaking device in his high-tech mohawk to turn himself invisible. Diving back into the ground while remaining unseen, Snakeshit reemerges beneath Knight Nikku, using his mechanical claws to slash at Knigth Nikku's armor, leaving jagged scratches across the surface of the metal. Knight Nikku swings his sword in front of him, but Snakeshit has already left the range of the sluggish weapon by the time the attack goes through. Li'l Bleedy attempts to scan the area to find Snakeshit, but the cloaking technology jams Li'l Bleedy's scanner, rendering it ineffective. Blingle uses her newly obtained Wand of Accusation to shoot out a blood laser in a sweeping motion, which hits Snakeshit, covering him in blood and revealing his position to everyone. Realizing he is no longer hidden, Snakeshit deactivates the cloaking device, reallocating his power into his claws and charging them with electricity. Shugi fires a burst of needles from the Heroin Needler at Snakeshit, but Snakeshit is able to slash them all out of the air with ease. Snakeshit then digs back into the ground, burrowing straight towards Blingle. Snakeshit emerges beneath Blingle, but just before he can slice open Blingle's throat with his mohawk, Egg comes to her rescue, now in his special "Flat and Greasy" mode obtained by draining his dying body of its fluids. Egg flops onto Snakeshit's face, blinding him and leaving him vulnerable to an attack. Greejis seizes the opportunity and slams Snakeshit straight in the back with his hammer, sending him crumpling to the ground.
"Like a blue phoenix, I will rise again!" sneers Snakeshit, peeling Egg off of his face while Greejis stomps on his back. Snakeshit sheds his skin to escape Greejis's grasp and run away, leaving behind the True Starminer, a large pile of diamonds, and, somehow, an entire fridge. Shugi slips the True Starminer into a fanny pack, and Greejis crams the fridge into his pocket. Li'l Bleedy observes the pile of diamonds, and crafts them together with You Die to convert it into You Diemond, making it that much flashier and deadlier of a weapon.
Meanwhile, the other group reaches the final summoning location, an odd mannequin which is clearly meant to wear the stained sweater that Leatherman had given to Melvin before returning home. Melvin puts the sweater onto the mannequin, and after a few seconds, an obnoxious sound rings out, and Bratty A. appears, sticking out her tongue and taunting the group mockingly.
"You're a bunch of LOSERS! You think you can take ME? Ha ha!" Bratty A. jeers, while the party members exchange an annoyed glance. Levus tries to grab hold of Bratty A.'s soul, but the moment he does so, obnoxious music begins blaring in his mind, and he's forced to release her.
"Agh! It's too much!" Levus groans, clutching his ears. Skeletone swipes at Bratty A. with his dagger, but misses repeatedly, and Bratty A. taunts him with each unsuccessful attack, lowering his morale significantly. Tora sends Viola, Jumbo, and Sean towards Bratty A., and Bratty A. looks at the approaching threats, making a raspberry noise with her tongue and spraying out a barrage of lasers from her mouth in the process. Titan Sean is forced to tap-dance around the lasers in a silly manner, but the two worms are two large to be impeded by the attack, and Viola manages to vomit a glob of ichor onto Bratty A.'s sweater, causing her to gasp in shock and begin whining and crying, not even trying to dodge as Jumbo rams into her, toppling her into a sitting position. Melvin gets an idea, and takes a large chunk of gummy meat from his inventory, before smearing the sticky candy all over Bratty A.'s sweater.
"NOO! NOOOO! YOU'RE RUINING IT, YOU'RE RUINING IT!" Bratty A. screeches. "I don't need to take this from you losers! I'll be back! You beat me, but I'm not dead!"
Bratty A. runs away, leaving behind an ipod with obnoxiously loud music installed on it, which Skeletone takes for himself. She also leaves behind a hefty supply of cash, which Melvin gathers together for future use, and a pair of sneakers, which Bullseye sneakily takes. With the final foe eliminated, the party once again reconvenes, ready to make their way forwards and exit the Great Fleshy Candy Land to continue their quest.
