Here Is ch 4 of the Animatronic Dragon, I have returned from my hibernation. Also had to deal with a lot of stupid things going on, stuff not being done the proper way it should be done which in result said stuff being damaged or broken, getting stuff setup in the workshop, and TRYING TO SLEEP IN A HIDDEN PLACE IN PEACE!

Chapter 4
Scales stared down at the guard in front of him, who was passed out in her chair and pale complexion, the tablet on the floor.
He continued to stare down at her with a surprised look before it became a dull look with half lidded eyes as he looked at Freddy before speaking.
"Thought she would do something else." Scales said as he reached down and picked up the tablet to set it on the table before adjusting the guards position so she can sleep easier.
"That's one of the more tame reactions, at least it wasn't like one of the bad ones." Freddy said with a slight winch, which Scales caught.
"What happened?" Scales asked as they both walked down the hallway to the main room, Freddy rubbing the back of his head on the way as they did so.
"One of them was when the guard started throwing things at me when I did my bit when the power went out. I was lucky that just my mask was damaged and nothing else so it was easy to replace." Freddy explained as Scales winced at the thought before they walked into the main room.
"Did Scales get his first night guard?" Bonnie asked when she ran in front of them and hopped a little with a small grin, which made Freddy nod, making Bonnie squeal a bit before she hugged Scales, who was not prepared for it and nearly fell before he caught himself.
"Kinda figured when we heard the scream and the power went off, but not hear ya music like normal." Foxy said as he got off his small stage before heading to the backstage room to go down to the basement to turn on the generator to keep everything going and to make sure all the refrigerators and freezers were running.
"Well it's a good thing I got this done when I did." Chica said as she came in from the other hallway, holding a large pizza before setting it on a table.
"Celebration pizza?" Scales asked with a tilted head, making Chica nod as Freddy sat in one of the chairs.
"Celebration pizza." Chica confirmed as she sat in a chair along with Bonnie and Scales as the power came back on and Foxy soon joined them at the table and soon they started to eat their own slices of the pizza.
"I'm just wondering about something." Scales said, catching the other's attention as they looked at him with questioning looks.
"How can we eat and where does it go?" Scales asked as he looked at the slice of pizza that he just took a bite off before looking up to see the others have confused looks as well as they looked at each other.
"No idea." They all said at the same time in a confused tone, making Scales mentally sweat dropped at how in sync they were when saying that.
"I'm just glad we're able to taste and eat things, making pizza and eating a bit more worth it." Chica said as the group chuckled a bit at this.
"Oh, did you also hear about the possible upgrades we might get?" Bonnie said in excitement, catching the group's attention as Scales looked in confusion.
"Upgrades?" Scales asked in a questioning tone before Freddy perked up a bit and spoke.
"I remember now, I heard some employees talk about some upgrades for us to have a few new systems and software installed while having a new look for us." Freddy said as Foxy nodded in agreement.
"Ay, I hope it means I get to perform again and tell all the lads and lassies stories of the seas." Foxy said with a bit of excitement before Chica spoke up.
"I also heard the place might get upgraded to a bigger building with a lot more open space in it for many other attractions as well." Chica said as she grabbed another slice while the others got a bit excited about having more room to move around in.
"We still have around 2 and a half hours," Freddy said before he reached up and took his top hat off and reached inside to pull out a deck of uno cards.
"Uno anyone?" Freddy asked as the group got ready to play while enjoying the pizza and hanging out with each other.
TIMESKIP
It has been a few weeks to nearly a full month before an announcement of the pizzeria being closed for sometime to undergo reconstruction and allow the animatronics to be upgraded, which made many kids upset but they quickly became excited to see what would be new.
The animatronics were moved to a different building that is nearby the pizzeria to keep them close and have most of the equipment with them as well. Chica was happy that there was an electric oven, a freezer, and a refrigerator that had all the ingredients to make pizza for some time.
Soon the building was starting to be completely redone, the old one torn down and the new one built in its place along with the delivery workers who arrived to take the original animatronics to get their upgrades.
"How long will their upgrades take?" Scales asked one of the workers who just got done securing the lid of the crate holding Freddy before she looked at him as one of the other workers started to move the crate to get it in the truck.
"The upgrades should take around a few weeks, then once they're deemed finished they'll be kept there to do tests to make sure everything is in working order and until the new building is done, which from what I can see might be around a month or 2." The worker said before one of the others got her attention.
"Sorry to cut this short Scales, but we got to go." The worker said before she got in the truck and took off, Scales watched from the entrance of the building as the truck drove away before he looked at the new pizzeria building that's being built and saw it was around a quarter from finished.
"Those are some dedicated workers to get this much done quickly." Scales said before he decided to help out to hopefully help speed the process up.
Soon the building was going ahead of schedule with the help of Scales with him able to lift more material than a normal person and able to help with other things going into the building, and before he knew it, Scales was standing just outside the entrance of the building that was about 2 to 3 times as large as the original pizzeria, the front sign hasn't been put up yet but it will be soon.
Scales walked into the main area to see it was larger with more tables along with a large stage, he saw multiple hallways to many rooms which one he saw were filled with arcade machines, one room of multiple called 'party room', some he didn't look at as the power wasn't turned on yet.
"This is going to be interesting, I wonder how the others are going to react to all of this." Scales said to himself as he saw some workers finish installing some lights and the wiring to them before he saw them speak into a radio.
"All done on my end, lights put up and wired. Everything good on your end?" The worker asked as he got down from the ladder he was using and stood next to it, looking up at the lights he just put up to see if he missed anything or did anything wrong.
"Yep, everything is good on my end, just got done double checking all the wire connections and the fuses in the fuse box along with checking in on all the other's progress. You're the last one to report after the last check in just a few minutes ago." A female voice said over the radio in the worker's hand, making him sigh in relief.
"Well I'm all done here, so if you're able to, turn on the power. Want to see if everything is good and how it looks." The worker said as he moved away a bit from the ladder and ended up next to Scales, which made the worker jump a small bit from just now noticing the dragon animatronic, getting a slight chuckle from him as the worker nodded in acknowledgement before they both looked up after hearing the female through the radio again.
"Alright, everyone cross your fingers, turning the power on in 3…2…1." The female voice said before a faint click was heard through the radio, the two saw the lights start to flicker a small bit before they started turning on fully.
Soon the whole new pizzeria was lit up and the workers started celebrating at a job well done as Scales and the worker next to him looked around before looking at each other and Scales raised a fist a bit towards the worker, who looked at it before doing a fist bump with the animatronic.
They looked to see the rest of the workers walk in as some take off headlamps from their heads.
"Now at least all of you don't have to work in the dark." Scales said to some of them, getting nods and some laughter as they agreed.
Now more time passes as with the power now on, many of the electrical equipment can come in such as the refrigerators, the freezers, all the kitchen hardware, along with all the ingredients for pizza and other foods.
Soon now nearly 4 to 5 months pass in total from start of the teardown of the old building to finishing the new building and moving everything in, now Scales was just waiting for his old friends to come back, which he heard would be soon along with some other new animatronics from a different location that was unfortunately burned down due to a kitchen fire that was accidentally started by a new worker having a lot of things to do on their plate.
Scales was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the honking of a truck and stood up to go to the front entrance to see a large delivery truck backing up before stopping around 5 to 10 feet from the entrance.
Some workers walked up as well before they propped the doors open and started helping the delivery workers move large crates down the ramp their using and into the pizzeria before repeating, Scales wanted to help but some of the workers told him he helped enough in building the pizzeria with them that they can take care of this.
Scales counted more than four crates, around 9, which surprised him a bit as he didn't expect this many new animatronics to come with his friends, he expected maybe two, not five.
"Alright, that's all of them." The main delivery worker said as he and the others started going back to the truck before he stopped and looked back at Scales with a slight perverted grin.
"Oh and Scales, don't have too much fun with them." He said before he got in the truck and it took off down the lot, leaving a confused Scales and some workers who shook their heads in disappointment at the words the delivery worker said to Scales.
"What does that mean?" Scales asked with a tilted head, a nearby worker who shook her head to snap herself out of it from how oddly it made him look cute and replied to him.
"Don't worry about it, big guy, just don't listen to him or those kinds of statements." She said before they all walked in to see the crates standing in the main room. The worker grabbed a crowbar and walked up to one.
"Alright, let's get them out of these crates, pretty sure they're tired of being kept in there." She said as other workers started to open the other crates, Scales got a battery low warning before he headed toward one of his maintenance stations to allow it to recharge by itself, he was also able to charge normally, which he does most of the time since it's faster than letting his battery recharge itself which takes about and hour longer than charging by cable.
He was glad that he had more maintenance stations nearly in every room, not all, but nearly all of them.
