Idea 40.
I'm open to people suggesting things like ships but remember I write Fem!Izuku (Izumi) x other girls and I'm more interested in some pairs than others. Rare pairs are very welcome, you all know me.
Relationships such as potential friends, mentors, or family members (adoption is fine)
Miscellaneous stuff like what school Izumi may attend or if she didn't, whether she's a hero student, criminal, or villain, key parts of her personality, hero and quirk names and story titles, what type of story it is, hell you can all even suggest where OFA goes, etc.
Instead of just putting out ideas, I also did a little writing for each one but that DOESN'T mean this beta writing would be in the story if said idea takes off.
Anyways, feel free to leave suggestions in the reviews and of course which idea they pertain to.
Enjoy, more notes at the end!
Title: Labyrinth (?)
*Mina POV*
Mina had just been minding her own business and wandering about the halls when she heard something.
"You really aren't meant for the business course Midoriya."
Peering over, the pink girl noticed a few 3rd year students from the business course talking down to a timid looking greenette. The green haired girl was also a 3rd year and her long hair was a touch messy while a pair of large glasses rested on her freckled face that had a troubled expression.
"B-but..." the greenette named Midoriya fumbled out. "They have as much potential as any of the others," she tried reasoning but her delivery was weak under the pressure of her classmates who just laughed at her.
"You always pick the ones that end up being outshined," one of the other students pointed out with a jab of their finger but Midoriya shook her head in denial.
"I'm sure this time!" she exclaimed but her gaze was looking down at their feet.
"Everyone knows that once you pick someone that it means they're bound to sink," the main bully mocked and Mina, fed up with them, made herself known.
"Hey!" the horned pinkette called, louder than even she'd expected, "don't you think that's enough!"
The group of 3rd years turned their attention to her while Mina glared at them and the leader of the group just shrugged.
"Well, it's no use arguing," they waved off before eyeing the greenette again. "Midoriya already knows exactly what we mean," they finished before walking off with loud and mocking chatter.
The green haired 3rd year simply remained rooted in place, clearly upset still, and Mina came up to her side worriedly.
"Are you okay senpai?" the 1st year questioned, still heated about the bullies, while the greenette recomposed herself.
"Ah yes," Midoriya said, offering a tough smile, "thank you for that."
"That was so uncool of them," the horned girl frowned but her senior just gave a quiet yet awkward chuckle.
"I-it's alright," the older girl assured. "I'm used to it," she reasoned but Mina shook her head adamantly.
"That's not a good thing senpai," the hero student replied and her senpai seemed to gain a conflicted look in her eyes.
"Maybe not," Midoriya agreed, her voice small, "but I do understand where they're coming from."
"What?" Mina instictually questioned aloud. "How?" she had to ask and the older girl offered a soft smile.
"It's a bit obvious but I'm a 3rd year in the business course," the greenette recited. "Midoriya Izumi," the older of the two introduced, reminding the pink haired girl that she hadn't given her own name either.
"Ashido Mina!" the pinkette quickly replied back in a chipper tune and with an energetic smile, "1st year hero course!"
"Nice to meet you Ashido," Midoriya laughed pleasantly. "If I'm being honest, I'm a bit infamous among the business course students for placing my hopes on hopeful heroes that end up fading out," the greenette revealed, her voice trailing off and clearly bothered by the fact, and all Mina could do was scowl.
"Harassing you for something like that..." the younger pink haired girl growled, getting heated again from thinking about the bullies.
"It's okay really," Midoriya said in an attempt to try and calm her. "It doesn't get me down," the greenette reassured, "and I'm not going to stop supporting those I think are really something special," she finished and Mina gave a wide grin at her words.
"It seems like the other business course students could learn something from you senpai," the pinkette complimented before turning back serious. "They're only looking at the flashy stuff," she grumbled although Midoriya shook her head with a tiny smile.
"That's nice of you to say," the 3rd year thanked, "but it's not like their methods are exactly incorrect," Midoriya admitted with a faraway look and Mina was about to respond but the older girl continued quielty. "It just means their attention is too narrow,"
"What was that?" the horned 1st year asked, not quite sure if she caught that last part.
"Nothing, nothing," Midoriya waved off with a smile before the worry on her face was replaced by curiosity. "If you don't mind," the 3rd year began, "would you tell me about yourself as a hopeful hero?"
At the words, a smile grew across Mina's face and she looked forward to getting along with this senpai of hers.
"Sure!"

*Izumi POV*
Taking off her glasses before she exited her apartment, Izumi couldn't help the giddiness that overcame her as she wandered beneath the moonlight.
The tugging sensation in her chest plucked at her heart and warmth spread through her body as the cold night air tickled her skin. The green of her eyes flickered and she closed them for the briefest of moments before opening them once more to reveal a yellow color reminiscent of the moon. Her eyes narrowed confidently and a pleasured sneer naturally drew across her lips.
There had always been something cathartic for her about stepping into the night.
She could feel her power rumbling beneath her feet, trembling and begging in excitement to be released, and the girl let it wash over her slowly as it leaked out. Her quirk just barely reared its head and she stood on the shifting being's head as it glided along the ground like a shark's fin breaking through the waves. Running a hand through her hair to push it back, Izumi held her phone up to her ear as the call she had been waiting for came through.
"Find anything you liked Chitose?" she answered, once again breathing in the crisp night air, and the voice on the other end laughed.
"I'll leave it up to you Izumi," the woman told her over the line. "Although, I did find some personal favorites," she added on while Izumi went back over the list she'd made.
"They did all have interesting quirks in my opinion," the greenette noted, her eyes gazing over the names and quirks of the students that she figured were worth keeping an eye on. "You haven't arrived yet have you?" Izumi wondered but she heard Chitose hum.
"Don't worry, you still have time to go out and use your quirk," the woman assured and a pleased smirk crossed Izumi's lips again.
"I would have done it anyway," she reminded the woman playfully and Chitose laughed once more.
"Have fun."
"I always do."
Izumi hung up the same time that she found something to crush.
Notes and Stuff
Quirk: 'Shadow Surf' (Asterius)
In universe, Izumi would be hiding what her quirk actually does and she would just make it seem like she can surf on her shadow to get around. However, her actual quirk is referencing/based on the persona Asterius from Persona 4 Arena/Ultimax. It belongs to Shadow Labrys and Izumi would also basically have a sort of 'shadow' form of herself, that's when her eyes go yellow, when properly using her quirk. I wouldn't exactly count it as having another personality as it is still just Izumi for the most part save sort of inverting how she is.
She's a 3rd year business course student at U.A here as well as a part of the MLA. She keeps her eye out for students and up and coming heroes and marks down those who may be willing to join the MLA or the Detnerat Company.
I've been trying to work on more criminal/villain Izumi ideas lately.
Anyways, feel free to leave me suggestions in the reviews!
