Chapter 4

It was big, loud and sweaty. Ichigo was amazed at how good the club looked. The fee to get in was ridiculous but Karin told him that it was well worth it since the club was always so lit. Her words not his. Karin also stated that she and Yuzu along with their friends paid nothing since their names were always on VIP. Ichigo couldn't help but smile happy that at least Grimmjow still treated them like family. Ichigo walked in with his sisters and that was the last he saw them. He lost them the moment they walked in past the security guard who was the hulk of a man named Yammy. Ichigo thought he remembered him from high school more so through Grimmjow if anything. Ichigo found the bar rather quickly and lucky him everyone was more so dancing than drinking cause he found a stool pretty quickly. Then again the bar was pretty extended so that was also probably a factor for the empty chairs as well. The bartender was pretty quick. It was a black haired man with beautiful silky skin. He was skinny but not too skinny. He was pretty attractive if Ichigo was honest with himself. The bartender gave him a look waiting for his drink order.

"Can I have a-"

"He'll have a rum and coke please Tsukishima thank you."

Ichigo snorted and turned to his cousin Uryu Ishida. Uryu Ishida was a lithe man, he wasn't buff or anything more so skinny. He had fair skin with pretty nice long balck hair he wore in a small ponytail. Uryu knew about everything with Ichigo leaving, the twins, Grimmjow being an asshole and he never spoke a word to anyone. He would visit him sometimes while he was living in Tokyo for 'business trips' is what he would tell Szayel. The twins loved him and called him Yuyu anytime they saw him. He adored the twins. He was more like an uncle to them. If anything he'd send Ichigo money when he could and buy the twins gifts it was nice. Ichigo checked Uryu out and wasn't surprised by his attire in the slightest. He was wearing slacks and a white polo shirt with plain black shoes. He wasn't really a dresser even though he sewed clothes for a living for his ex-friends who were fashion designers.

"So I heard Karin won her soccer game. I wish I was there but I was caught up in the warehouse."

Ichigo smiled, "Oh she's here celebrating her win you'll probably see her eventually somewhere hopefully but she was amazing on the field I missed watching her play."

"Yeah well they missed you the whole family and we all wanted to see the twins on a regular basis." Uryu stated.

Ichigo chuckled, "Oh is that why Uncle Ryuken gave me that clinic job?"

"You knew?"

"Duh I knew but it was a nice job opportunity and I can actually afford stuff now it's not bad."

Uryu gave a small smile, "Well I'm glad you're back I guess. It hasn't been the same without you. Orihime asks about you but I just say I don't know where you are."

Ichigo looked away for a bit, "I miss her, she was always there for me you know. But it seems like Orihime is the only one that has missed me."

Uryu huffed, "Well when you left everyone sided with Grimmjow calling you a coward it was so hard for me to not tell them to fuck off. You were under so much stress when you were pregnant and for them to side with that ass before even trying to hear you out it just upsets me. I barely want to talk to Shinji or Yumichika. Aside from sewing their clothes I don't really hang with the others unless Szayel is involved."

"Woah, talk about loyalty."

Uryu rolled his eyes, "Whatever Ichigo."

Ichigo smiled and reminisced with his cousin and showed him pictures of the twins. Uryu was a good cousin hell he was a good person but if you didn't know him he could come off as a bit of a prude. Ichigo finally got his drink and gulped it down, ordering two more, one for him and one for Uryu. Uryu showed him some of the works he's helped create and Ichigo was impressed Uryu had a gift because the clothes that he helped bring to life were runway worthy. Ichigo enjoyed the interactions and catching up it was very much needed. While talking someone screamed his cousin's name which caused Uryu's small smile to turn into a grimace. Ichigo perked up wondering who was calling his cousin and why Uryu looked so irritated already.

"Uryu you heard me calling you, why aren't you at the VIP booth huh?"

Ichigo looked at the guy who was talking to Uryu. He was kind of short, very skinny with purple irises and mid-length black hair. He was wearing very short shorts and a midriff shirt showing off his belly button ring. He was more feminine than masculine and looked annoying as hell. Uryu sighed and looked at Ichigo with a tired look. Ichigo was amazed how quickly Uryu's mood switched up when this guy came over. The guy looked Ichigo over and then turned his attention entirely on him. "

Who are you? I haven't seen you here before and I know everyone here."

Ichigo rolled his eyes. Yes, this person knew over two-hundred people even more. Ichigo didn't feel like speaking to this person nor did he want this person to listen to his conversation with Uryu so he quickly switched languages to something he and Uryu exclusively knew.

"Who in the hell is he?"

Uryu snorted and turned to Ichigo, "Really we're speaking Greek now?"

"Yup aren't you happy we know it for more private conversations. Now tell me who he is?"

"Grimmjow's new squeeze, he thinks he runs the place and is very much annoying. Everyone hates him but no one says anything because they don't want to upset Grimmjow."

Ichigo looked at the boy who was now glaring at them up and down then turned back to his cousin, "Doesn't seem like Grimmjow's type, what's his name?"

"Luppi and no he really isn't his type I think he's a gold digger to be honest with you but oh well."

"Umm, excuse me rude, say it to my face not behind my back." Luppi screamed.

Uryu sighed, "We're not talking about you, I was informing this person on who you were, that's all."

Luppi huffed, "Whatever, what even is her name huh?"

"I would much appreciate for this person not to know my name or even my alias of names I want to hit him to be honest." Ichigo stated.

Uryu sighed, "Look Luppi, what do you want?"

Luppi rolled his eyes, "I just find it weird that you're over here talking to the new girl in town since you're so uptight."

Ichigo scoffed, "Excuse me 'new girl in town' I've been here longer than this bitch ugh."

"Luppi, you moved here two years ago, you're still relatively new too." Uryu rebuttal.

"Whatever, I'm going to go find my hot boyfriend and the owner of this club watch your back. Newbie people here aren't as nice as you think." Luppi growled out.

Ichigo smiled, "I can handle myself thank you."

"Oh so you do speak Japanese's whatever. Bye I have a boyfriend to find." Luppi commented.

Ichigo and Uryu watched as Luppi walked away then both ordered shots. Ichigo didn't know how it happened but Luppi drained everything out of him. He was so annoying. Ichigo and Uryu talked more while watching the thousands of people dance. Ichigo caught sight of his sisters here and there. They were having the time of their lives. Ichigo couldn't help but smile. He was happy to see them having fun. He was happy to see them in general; it was hard not really having anyone to interact with aside from coworkers and his babies. Ichigo looked at the time and saw it was almost one in the morning. He sighed happily that he didn't have work. Uryu and Ichigo decided to go outside since more people were crowding in and it was getting too loud for them to even hear their own thoughts. When they got outside the line was still pretty long it amazed Ichigo how people were still waiting.

"So the kids are having a little play next Friday?" Uryu asked.

Ichigo smiled, "Yup little red riding hood and guess who kids are going to be the main character?"

"Mia and Kai are playing main characters?"

"Mia is going to be none other than the lead little red riding hood and Kai is going to be the big bad wolf." Ichigo explained.

Uryu chuckled, "Can't wait to see that you know since the others are going to be there to see their kids as well."

Ichigo rolled his eyes, "Yeah good for them they have kids and I have kids oh and by the way Rukia knows."

Uryu's eyes widened, "How did that go?"

"Well I was at the park with the kids. The orange hair was a dead give away so she slapped me and started screaming and that's when I told her about why I left. She was sympathetic, we talked a bit and now she's actually been helping me out with the kids. I appreciate it." Ichigo stated.

"Hmm sounds about right but I will say this Orihime is the only one who has always had your back. She texts me daily wanting to know how you are. She misses you a lot."

Ichigo felt like a piece of shit where Orihime was involved. He wished he told his friends but his emotions were all over the place and all he wanted to do was get away from everything. It did hurt Ichigo to just completely cut his friends off but at the time he wanted to disappear without a trace. Uryu saw Ichigo sadness and decided to comfort him the best way he knew how, which was a pat on the back and telling him to cheer up. Uryu was not an emotional person at all. It was a nice night all in all Uryu eventually went to his group since Luppi found them again and Ichigo decided it was time for him to go. He found his sisters hugged them goodbye and then went home to go to sleep. It was peaceful with the kids gone. He slept all the way up till ten in the morning. It was nice to catch up on sleep and just relax. He woke up with a prep in his step. He brushed his teeth, took a shower even made himself breakfast. He was relaxing on the couch watching some soap opera on tv. HIs parents texted him early that morning stating they were going to spend time with the twins for the weekend. Ichigo was for it; he wanted his kids to spend time with their grandparents; he wanted them to finally have that opportunity. The day went by pretty quick with no kids to care for or work. It was a nice lazy day. The next day was the same with his kids gone he just lazed around the house he had no desire to go out. It was around six in the evening when he got a text from Rukia.

'Hey, are you hungry? I'm free tonight Renji and the guys are going to hang and the others are with their kids.'

Ichigo sighed he really didn't want to go out; he just wanted to relax. He decided to say no but before he could his doorbell rang which kind of freaked him up. Ichigo got up and saw that it was Rukia and she was holding take out bags.

"Hey umm I got your favorite subs, burgers, Chinese oh and I got you a chocolate bar." Rukia stated.

Ichigo frowned, "Why what's the occasion?"

Rukia gave a small smile, "Look I can't be honest with the others like I am with you okay and you're back I missed you believe it or not. I hated you for leaving but now I know why and the circumstances. Now I have you back and I just want to go back to how it used to be."

Ichigo sighed and invited Rukia in to help her with the bags. He told Rukia to make herself at home and started setting things up on the coffee table. Ichigo got some drinks out of the fridge and then sat down next to Rukia. She smiled and started digging into her portion of dinner. Ichigo was amazed Rukia even remembered his favorites from so long ago but he was thankful for the free food.

"Sooo you know about the play?"

Ichigo smiled, "Yup my beautiful twins are the leads. I'm so happy."

"Yeah well Ichika isn't so happy she was throwing a tantrum basically stating she was the one with red hair and it wasn't fair that Mia got the part."

Ichigo chuckled as he grabbed the burger, "Well Mia is just like her mom when she's determined nothing is going to get in her way."

Rukia snorted, "Well Kai also got the lead which was surprising when Ichika told me."

"Well Kai is like his father, unfortunately he can portray evil, bad, and sinister so easily."

"Geez Ichi you really hate Grimmjow."

Ichigo shuddered a bit, "I don't hate him I just don't like him and don't like how things went down but I don't hate him."

Rukia smiled, "That's good to hear, are you going to go to the play incognito?"

"Nope honestly I'm tired of hiding. I'm not going to be afraid and I am not going to hide my face. My kids need to see me especially during their first play." Ichigo stated.

"You're right I just hope nothing bad happens you know."

Ichigo sighed, "Yeah I'm hoping but I mean such is life you know."

Rukia raised her drink, "Here here."
